Our favourite place in Den Hague. Staff are really lovely. The atmosphere is lovely but not overwhelming. Coffee and treats are delicious!

Everything was very tasty, especially the guacamole toast. And they really have the best hot chocolate in Den Haag

I really enjoyed lunch here with parents and partner. We all had a caprese sandwich which was expensive at €10.50 but still decent value for money because it was large, fresh and tasty. The bread was a wholemeal baguette, the pesto was nice and tangy and there were generous portions of mozella and rocket. The apple pie was decent - fairly standard but perfectly acceptable. So the sandwiches were the star of the show. The service was fast and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Lovely café! My flat white with oat milk was perfect, the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, great for a meeting, to work or to just sit with a book. Veronika was very attentive and had a contagious positive attitude. Thank you!

This is the first place I come back to when visiting Den Haag. Besides the great coffee and croissants, it’s really the friendly service that makes it special (with special thanks to Irene). Creating a great atmosphere with the added bonus of good music. Looking forward to coming back.

Me and my best friend come to ChiqOlatte all the time, and it’s become our little comfort spot. We always get the mango matcha frappes — they’re insanely good. The place feels cozy and welcoming but still super clean. The service is always lovely, and the staff is genuinely so sweet. Our Thursday and Friday visits there are honestly some of our favorite moments of the week.

While looking for breakfast, we ended up in this lovely café. I ended up having the best dark chocolate ever there. ❤️ They had cakes, cookies, and chocolates – perfect for an afternoon treat. I only found a croissant for myself, which was perfect for a light breakfast. The waitress was incredibly friendly and clearly had a real passion for her work!

This is the only coffee spot I truly enjoy in The Hague! The staff is super friendly and caring. It’s laptop friendly as well, so I often come to work from here. The food is also so tasty - I’ve tried a few brunch options as well as the cakes. Super satisfied!

This cafe is right by the Escher museum and a convenient stop before or after a visit. The coffee was tasty and the menu items were prepared and presented in a lovely way. I tried the tumeric chicken sandwich and it was soooo good! Service was available at the table or order at the counter. They were friendly and helpful.

Nice café. Unfortunately, they didn't have much of a cake selection when we were there. We opted for the carrot cake, which was very moist 😋 The vanilla chai latte was good but very spicy 😅 Service was friendly 😊

With all due respect, these people don't understand how to handle this matter. Reservation? Sorry sir, there's nothing here... High Tea was just not right. Combo with chocolate fondue? Ehh, we got it after almost 2 hours. One positive fact, the food (bruschettas) was good.

The service is very good but the waiting time was very long because there are only two employees working on a shift, when the cafe is full. The food was perfect, nonetheless. If it wasn't so understaffed it would be a perfect 5/5.

it's weird how people say "not enough staff working" and instead of being patient or just looking for another place, they keep whining and complaining lol the place is amazing: the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the service, they really take care of all your wishes and allergies. a little bit on a slow side, yes, but it compensates it fully with what it offers. if you are having a great day and a great company, would highly reccomend! and if you are a grumpy karen, then maybe the broodje cafe down the street is more of your level :)

Beautiful place! I had a breakfast there with cappuccino and traditional apple pie. Everything was super good. The place is modern and extremely cozy, with a nice view on Lange Voorhout. Staff is super friendly and kind, service timing is reasonable. Definitely recommend to those who want a good breakfast or a relaxing coffee on the weekend!!

Absolutely love this café! The team is always so welcoming and friendly, creating such a great atmosphere. I ordered the quinoa bowl and I have to say, the cook does an extraordinary job, even when the place is busy. Not only was it beautifully presented, but it was also delicious!

Hi! I was at your branch in The Hague on Monday to celebrate my mother's birthday, but the experience was not what I am used to. The four of us sat in the back, near a kind of forgotten spot next to the kitchen. Because of your socials and actually my previous experiences, it seemed nice to have lunch with you, but there was no atmosphere or ambiance at all. The service isn't that nice either.

Eirini (Irene) is the best barista and my favorite one in town! She makes every coffee with so much care and skill, and she’s the main reason I keep coming back to this place. Her friendly attitude and great service always brighten my day. Highly recommend!

Estaba caminando por la ciudad como me encanta hacer los fines de semana. Pasé por este lugar un par de veces y se ve bien por fuera. Entré lo primero que noté es una puerta delantera que se sigue abriendo porque no hay cierre automático, no hay nada peor que cuando hace 2 grados afuera y una puerta se sigue abriendo sin estar cerrada. En segundo lugar no fue la tarjeta de menú, el desayuno es interesante, pero el menú del almuerzo es terrible. 6 bocadillos y 2 tazones, ninguno de ellos coincide con el aspecto de este restaurante. Allí sándwich aburrido por un precio premium, la tienda de la esquina ofrece los mismos sándwiches por precios más bajos. El café estaba bien nada que otra compañía no podría hacer mejor. Personal que se olvida de saludarte y decirte hola o buenos días/tardes. No volveré a ir aquí otra vez, no vale la pena el tiempo. Las miradas engañan

this was my third time visiting, and while my previous experiences were great, this one was a major letdown due to poor service. i came with two friends who had never been before, and we sat down but had to ask for menus. after waiting five minutes, a couple arrived and had their orders taken before us. when i asked our waitress (an east asian woman) to take our order, she said "one second" and disappeared. after another long wait, I had to get up and find her talking to someone. when she finally took our order, she was being blunt. our drinks arrived, but my friend's dessert was forgotten. she politely asked about it, and the waitress barely acknowledged her before serving drinks to the couple who came after us. eventually, another staff member noticed my friend waiting and helped with the missing cake. later, when we ordered cheesecake, the waitress brought it without forks. i had to ask another staff member for them, as our waitress was clearly not paying attention. overall, the food was good, but the rude and inattentive service made this visit disappointing. i don’t know if it was an off day for the waitress or if she just didn’t care, but if i return and she’s serving, i’ll ask for someone else.

Cozy atmosphere. Food and drinks are tasty. Management, however, not interested at all. They hardly walk by and take their time. Price-quality not quite in order.

I come and visit this cafeteria very often their caramel frappe and Spanish latte are so delicious and many other things. The stuff it's so friendly, helpful , genuine and their service it's extremely good . I love coming here I always bring my friends here.

Acabábamos de llegar a Den Haag y este fue el primer café al que llegamos después de un breve paseo por la ciudad. Pedimos solo un café normal y en lugar de conseguir un café al estilo holandés, obtuvimos grandes americanos. Sin embargo, venía con dos chocolates muy agradables. Costó 8 €. Habría sido mejor pedir café con leche.

We had a high tea deluxe. Different types of sandwiches and quiche. Sweets were a slice of cake, chocolate and macaroon. The food was very tasty.

One of the coziest cafes in town, in one of the most elegant spots of The Hague. Ideal for couples in love, for a reason it will take you a second to realize when you go there. Thumbs up!

Very tasty cakes, you can take any you like at the counter and won’t be disappointed. Not much places where you can find something better than just ordinary ‘appeltaart’. A bit pricy but worth it. I come to this place relatively often.

Tijdens Prinsjesdag niet voorbereid op de drukte. Moesten 20 minuten wachten en toen was de koffie er nog niet terwijl bestellingen na ons wel doorkwamen. Kwestie van vergeten dachten wij. Dan maar vragen. Het was druk en we moesten op onze beurt wachten. Ja dat deden we al 20 minuten. Toen blijven staan voor een koffie to go, we gingen niet eerder weg. Uiteindelijk gekregen maar wel met veel gezeik. Er zit geen systeem in.

Great place for brunch. We had their bagels which were devoured straight away. They were also very generous with the filling. Cakes were also very tasty. We had the chocolate cake and the honey cake which were very different but both very good. Their chocolate drinks were also of good quality. The server even accomodated my request to have mine cold. Only critique was that it took some time for the wait staff to attend to us. They were very friendly and polite but were also busy chit chatting with regulars. We will be back for the chocolate fondue

I stopped by a nearby art museum before it opened. The staff was very nice and the latte and croissant were delicious. The inside of the store was comfortable and I had a relaxing time.

Excellence. We called in for a late afternoon tea, and were warmly welcomed. The beetroot cacao latte was great (do try it) and the apple cake the best I've had in Holland.

Service is great and the food is nice. Prices are a bit high, but you're in a very nice spot, so you probably also pay for that.

I was excited to try honey cake. But it was bitter because there was too much cinnamon inside. It's like you are eating speculoos cookies. Did not like it and was very disappointed. My friends ate it instead of me.

Very lively cafe! Booked a high-tea and the manager was absolutely wonderful! Very good communication along with helpful and very friendly staff. The food was delicious and the spot is a little bit further from the center of the city.

Vanilla Chai latte was tasty and hot. Spiced Chai latte was unfortunately too sweet and not hot enough, but it was just the right spice. Cakes were fine but not very special for €7.20!! We also thought chai for €5.20 was over-priced. Service was friendly. Far too expensive for us for a second visit.
