Super crispy pides!! Very nice shop!!

I've been coming to this place for two years and have never been so disappointed. I paid €12 for a sandwich and was so empty. I could have eaten such a good cheese sandwich.

A shawarma sandwich costs €11. You'll be charged €12 upon arrival. Where are these prices going?

I ordered shoarma met kipfilet schotel via Uber eats. They don’t have pictures of dishes, so I had to Google what it is. And I see it should be chicken. But when I received food, there was a LAMB in it. In original recipe there shouldn’t be ANY LAMB. I don’t eat lamb, it makes me sick. And it was expensive as well - 26,25 euro. Put pictures or write the ingredients please!!

The food was too salty. The pide wasn't cooked through. The staff didn't say hello or "enjoy your meal."

Where the kelle paça soup costs 7€, they've charged 13€ for the beans on rice. I guess they don't know what's being sold for 13€ around here. I used to stop by occasionally, but I won't be going back myself, nor will I recommend it. We're customers, not suckers!

It's truly scandalous; this used to be a great place. The food is way too expensive, and the portions are far too small. For 13 euros, I had a wrap with meat that wouldn't even fill a child. The food was nothing special at all, very expensive, and now I'm leaving hungry.

We went with my family and paid 96 euros, but it was absolutely not worth it. The Adana kebab was very dry and tasteless, the rice pilaf was 3-day old, and the ingredients used in the mixed pitas (you could also call them "bulamaç") were extremely poor quality.

The feel might be a bit too modern for my taste, but the food is good and the people are friendly.

They have really good food, especially pide. They also have some sweets. Upstairs, there's a mescid for praying, which was really nice. And an abdesthane too. Great!

Disappointing experience. We visited this restaurant looking forward to a nice evening and had a slight preference for a change in the menu. When we asked the waiter, he indicated that they were only standard menus. At our request, he wanted to ask the kitchen. However, the cook (or chef, the one who seemed to be responsible for the meat, his name was supposed to be ‘Erkan’ according to the waiter) refused without any explanation (it seemed) or friendliness. When we asked if we could explain it ourselves, we walked along with the waiter, but the chef turned his back on us and said curtly something like that we should just say it, without making any advances. The atmosphere immediately felt unwelcome and distant, partly because of the noise in the kitchen and the distance to him, which made it difficult for us to tell our story. We then decided to ask who the owner was, he would be at the cash register according to the waiter and we spoke to him. He did listen well and said that he would sort it out, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, we then saw the chef come over and listen from a distance and again look with an angry, surprised look, which bothered us. When the food arrived, the meat was a bit lukewarm. We politely mentioned this to the owner afterwards, and we said that we also didn't like that the chef didn't want to help us at first, and again the chef came closer with visible irritation, sort of 'shaking his head' and mumbling angrily, without any attempt to explain or apologize. We found this behavior unprofessional and not hospitable at all. The owner remained friendly and even said that he had 'prepared' the plate himself and was sorry that we weren't satisfied. Perhaps the chef was busy speaking to us then, as he said, but that is no reason to treat customers like that — turning your back, appearing unfriendly, and not making an effort to start a conversation is simply not customer friendly. We thanked him again for helping us with the menu. The food itself was okay, not particularly tasty but not bad either. Just average. Pide with meat (minced meat) had little taste, too bad because their specialty should be pide, because that's what they're called. Shoarma was tasty, kebab and fries were also good. Our main reason for this low rating is therefore not the food, but the way we were treated — especially by the chef. A hospitable restaurant is not only about taste, but also about service and respect.

I ordered 2 pide all came burned and dry, incredibly dry I can’t eat with my teeth and swallow it HURT my throat while I tried to swallow. I returned half of that pide but cashier charged for that piece of dry pide 12 euro and also in menu prices without taxes so at the end they will add ADDITIONALLY 10-15 euro! One year ago it was good we used to go there every 3 month but this year second time I received DRY pide and I extremely unsatisfied with it!

I've been traveling in Europe for 10 days. This was my 4th country or maybe 15th city experience. It was really comfortable like in Turkey, delicious like in Turkey, clean like in Turkey. I had a meal after the meal, they offered me tea and I drank a very nice Turkish coffee on top of that. The staff were very polite, the food was delicious, in fact, I will add a very important footnote, there was a bidet faucet in the toilet, as you can see, only my stomach was not happy. 😂😂 If I stayed in Amsterdam for 10 days, I would come and eat my meal here every day.

If you really want to eat good quality pide, you come here. Fast, incredibly good bases made thick or thin, richly topped and large pide too, no they are not small ones.

My favorite place to eat in Amsterdam ! They treat you like family and I come back every time I’m in town, day after day. A must try!

The pides taste really delicious. We used to drive to Brussels for this, but that is no longer necessary. We ended up here via Google (reviews). The Trabzon pide is absolutely delicious in terms of dough. The cheese is different than in Trabzon, but we understand that – that specific cheese is of course difficult to find here. Nevertheless, it is certainly very tasty. If you are hungry, this is a great alternative! We will definitely come here more often!

Today I ate and unfortunately found a hair in the last pide. We felt comfortable in our 1 week holiday thanks to this Turkish place in terms of food. Their food is really very very good. Soup, meat dishes, pitas are really delicious, better than many places in Turkey. You can come and eat without thinking. The prices are very reasonable according to the taste. We thank each and every one of the employees, they made us feel like we were at home.

Top choice for Turkish Pide in Amsterdam

When we first came a few years ago, the food and service were really good. We visited again last week, but unfortunately we were not as pleased. The lentil soup we ordered as a starter was very thick, my wife couldn't even drink half of it. The pide was not bad, I can say it offered an average taste. However, the service was seriously poor. The waiters were chatting among themselves and on the phone, not focusing on the customer. After the soup was finished, the empty plates sat on the table for 10 minutes, but they were only taken away after I asked. After the meal, we ordered kunefe; it arrived in exactly 20 minutes. When I asked for it in the 15th minute, they said "it will take another 5 minutes", but the cheese in the kunefe that arrived was either not suitable or stale, it did not taste nice and had stuck to the bottom. Although we wanted tea with dessert, the tea arrived in 1 minute, and the dessert came 19 minutes later. This created an inconsistent service experience. We left this place, which we used to love, with sadness and a little disappointment. I hope the quality returns to its old level.

The cubed and kashar pita I ordered was warm, had plenty of ingredients and was incredibly delicious. It had just come out of the oven and the dough was just right. The place was clean and the employees were very attentive. I must say that it was as good as the pitas I ate in Turkey. It's now one of the first places I'll stop by whenever I'm in Amsterdam! ---

After a meal in the evening on April 27 around 10:00 PM I got food poisoning the next day. Had to be admitted and given morphine 3 times for the pain. There was also a mouse walking around. Please pay attention to your sucug/cheese or desert. I had the pide with cheese and sucug and the pudding. Don't dare come again after this experience.

Great food, my mate was lost for words

We had to wait for our small order for 2 for 37 minutes while others who were behind us to order, were leaving with their orders. This is unacceptable and spoiled our evening plans.

It is a business we go to regularly and are generally satisfied with. The food is delicious. Although the price may vary from person to person, we can say that it is at an average level.

The restaurant was recommended to us by two young locals that we met on the street close by. And they did not promise too much. We ordered Lahmacun and Pidé and both dishes were tastefully served along with salad and three different sauces. Both were delicious and way better than in a good kebab restaurant. Our very hungry 4 year-old got nice french fries, which were served posthaste before our food came, which was highly appreciated. A nice tea, which was on the house completed this nice experience. Also, the service was really good and we felt very well taken care of. Bottom line, this was a very positive experience with a good value for money balance.

Pide Dunyasi in Amsterdam West was an absolute letdown. The service was extremely rude. Our drinks were delivered incorrectly twice and when my dish was incorrect, the server even accused me of ordering incorrectly, even though I had clearly indicated twice that I wanted chicken wings instead of the skewers. When the wrong dish was brought, another little boy told me it would take an hour to get my order correct – which of course was nonsense for something as simple as grilled chicken wings. It even seemed like they wanted to tell me this so as not to correct the dish. Then the other employee who accused me of ordering incorrectly said it would take 15 minutes for the chicken wings. In the end I chose to take the chicken skewer, because I didn't want to deal with any more fuss. All our dishes arrived cold and the karışık pide was not at all worth the €17 for such a small portion. It's clear the staff don't really care about the customer and I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here. Save your money, there are plenty of better other pide tents!

While serving, staff members just leave everything on the table and what's worst, they always stink of sweat, a lot of them don't take customers into account, which is a shame, otherwise everything is fine, the food and the atmosphere, but not the employees!
