Very young staff; our snacks weren't fried until the fries were ready. The food was delicious.

Had to wait a long time and then they gave me cold fries! It could be so much better!

Prices are much higher in reality than in the menu photos on the Google account. A single snack costs over 3 euros. It also took almost an hour, but that was due to Glow.

They're made with fresh potatoes, not pre-packaged. Skin-on fries. They taste like potatoes from a bonfire. Delicious.

I ordered their frites and bitterballen, taste very good, freshly fried, and if you havw trouble speaking dutch they provided ipad for ordering

Ate there. No price list visible on the board. In the end, I paid €18.20 for one small fries, one medium fries, and a chicken burger. I asked if this was correct. It was. Shameless. Way too expensive!

What a fantastic experience at this place! The fries were incredibly crispy and delicious. My viandel was also delicious, and the food was ready very quickly. You can always have a chat with the attentive staff. The place is in a perfect location, and the interior looks cozy and clean. If you're craving fries, this is THE place.

Huge potatoes and it's no coincidence that they're the best in the Netherlands 😅

Very bad food and unfriendly staff

We had a great experience here on Saturday evening around 7pm, helpful staff, fast service, fresh and delicious food.

Waited 30 minutes just for fries completely unacceptable. They can’t follow simple orders, and even when we pointed it out, they ignored us and did whatever they wanted. On top of that, the fries we finally got were burned. I’ve never had a worse experience. Absolutely careless and disrespectful service. I’m beyond frustrated.

At the PSV fan day, there was only one person working, so I had to wait half an hour for fries and a viandel. The owner of this place should really think twice.

Had to wait 40 min and they weren't even busy. In the meantime they were gossiping and on their phones. The fries were fried for 25 min and given to couriers. I then cancelled my order and never got my money. Stay far away from this place!!!

Waited 50 minutes for a bowl with mushroom sauce and pulled pork. People left because of the long wait. Every 10 minutes there was 1 order ready…. Okay food but not worth waiting 50 minutes. I am not someone who ever writes a bad review but this was over the top. Attitude of employee was not okay. She ignored people and pushed bags of food.

Was the first one here yesterday. The fries were just not tasty. You've got to love fries with their skin on, of course. When we arrived it smelled like old frying fat. Not really tasty. Mexicano and frikandel were good. Prices were high. Especially for the small portion of fries. The young boy man was very friendly. Little decoration in the tent itself. Definitely not a second time for me. I prefer to go after automatic Marks further down the road.

The top floor where you can sit was full of smoke from downstairs. Croquette was tiny and cold. Not much food for the price. I understand that you are in the center of Eindhoven, but I thought it was really not enough. Food was okay. We had to wait a long time, about 40 minutes from the moment we pinned. I don't recommend it.

The employees Ellen & Doinja from Pieperz Eindhoven are very friendly and their fries were delicious!!

If you order a frikandel special, there are no onions on it, that's strange!! It also smelled like old grease, the grease looked dirty and unhealthy. The tent was also empty and you would say that at 1730 dinner time on Sunday. Oh yes, the noodles were greasy and dirty. It's a shame if you order 21 euros worth of food and you can't eat it. It is dirty and dingy

What bad fries, limp, not crispy. Downright bad Frying fat has not been replaced in months.

Every time I was in Eindhoven I got fries from Pieperz, because I love fries with skin. The fries are also not the reason for the 3 stars. My most recent visit (this evening 26-02-2025) was unfortunately very disappointing. Upon entering, the staff did not notice that I had entered. There was no order at all. When I was finally able to order, about 3 minutes had already passed and 2 people who came in after me were already being helped. Contact with staff was scarce, but the contact that was there was friendly. Unfortunately, when I was looking for a table I saw that the only table that was available at the time was quite dirty with food remains. The food took a while (I think more than 10 minutes for a large fries of stew and a viandel) but it was busy, so I condoned it. When my order was brought upstairs, the staff member didn't know who the food was for and gave me a number. However, I had not received a number so I had to check carefully whether it was my order. I am willing to give it one more chance, but if it goes like this next time, I will look for another chip shop in Eindhoven.

Echoing the same low ratings you see here, the service is awful, slow, forget items. Food is hit and miss, frankly the image pieperz wants to portray, that of being one step above fast food, gourmet style, missed the mark. At least in eindhoven there are plenty of other good food joints doing it better. Sorry, 1 star for me.

It took a long time for it to come out, so it was hard to wait. Also, the menu was... confusing, so it was hard to taste the food.

What a mockery. It promises a lot. But it just isn't. Fries were good but the service. Very bad. It was quite busy. And then there's one person sitting on a laptop and the other two working. And there was a line of about 20 people. And then in between the one to the other home delivery employee who then picks up an order. And it stinks of old chip fat.

No vegan options besides chips.

Unfortunately, we have recently experienced a number of times that they are closed without this being mentioned anywhere. So if you want certainty, I would eat somewhere else. Rest in Pieperz

Fries are cold, limp and have a strange taste, slightly sweet. Too bad, I really expected more from it. Fresh fries with the skin still on are normally delicious, so I have no idea what they do with the potatoes here. Apparently it scored high on the fries test in previous years, but I can't taste any of that. Deep-fried snacks (croquette and cheese souflé) were fine, but the schnitzel was of no use. The fat dripped off. Dry and tasteless in taste. The whole place smells of old frying fat, the staff behind the counter is disinterested and clumsy and is busier with ladies waiting than with their work.

I don't understand the negativity, I come here once a week to get fries for me and my neighbor. She keeps me company and I spoil her with delicious fries from Pieperz, I really enjoy watching her enjoy those delicious pies. ☺️

And here too the last time. 8/19/2024 I don't really understand the positive reactions here? 1. Super clumsy and uninterested employees whose English could not yet be understood. They looked at me like I was from Mars?? 2. More fries on the tray than in the container and everything was just thrown on top and the mayonnaise was everywhere so everything was covered immediately. 3. Fries were really crappy. Too hard with all the green seeds in it. 4 the price is really absurd when you look at what you get. Small fries are really laughable with a container of only a few square centimeters…. Come on Dutch stinginess! I put the tray back on the counter after 3 fries and walked away annoyed! The problem is that these businesses, like so many businesses in our city center, are no longer concerned with customer friendliness at all and that is mainly because customers nowadays just accept everything!! And yes, decent staff are in the minority, that is certainly true. We even notice when we are treated normally somewhere, isn't that a bit strange? Maja, the owner in this case, is also not willing to see how his business is appreciated because I don't see any feedback here. Apparently more concerned with his financial results than what is really important. A bit of a shame! Where has our Brabant conviviality gone? Pffff….

I was there with my fiancé and brother . We ordered three servings of fries with toppings . One portion was with long black hair , we decided to give it back . The lady from the service did not say a word ... after a while she brought the second portion , without looking at us at all and without saying anything . Service fatal . Please tie up your hair . The fries were overcooked and very greasy . We expected something better

The owners were very grumpy and they closed the upper floor without giving a reason. A lot of the options were not available and the food is expensive for what you get. Just go to a traditional dutch snackbar, instead of this brand-looking place which fails to deliver.

I regularly get PiriPiri fries here on Saturdays for me and my team. It's always a great experience and it satisfies the appetite on a busy Saturday and keeps morale high. Today, Saturday 5/25, I got fries again and it was VERY busy. Really, all respect for the boy who was blasting on his own. He deserves a raise! Answering customers politely and meanwhile frying delicious fries. With blood sweat and tears. I hope he gets as much appreciation from you as he gets from me. It is rare to have people with such a zest for work in your team. Because of the crowd, the fries were just too crispy, but certainly no less tasty. I keep coming back, especially when I see this great guy at work again! However, I would put more than 1 man in the business on Saturdays. Hence no 5/5 stars.

+ for the interesting DAF and Tractor decor. Food (fries) going that from a good quality potato++ unfortunately a great ---- Which weighed on the rating was the OLD OIL with which the fries smelled, because if it was not that I would give 5!

Fries were great! Snacks just barely warm. Service was bad. There was no one there, we wanted to sit upstairs and we were still allowed to go down to pick up our food. If it's busy I completely understand this but there was no one?!

Food was okay. The waitress seemed tired and uncommunicative. She put orders on the table without saying the names and I had to go there and check the names multiple times or ask her explicitly which was awkward. I mean I feel for her. She might be tired. But the part that I can’t forgive is that she/whoever was inside closed at 8:20, we were sitting on a table outside and it started to rain. We tried to go inside but nobody bothered to open the door for us to finish our meal inside! What is wrong with you?!

There is always hassle with orders at Pieperz, whether it is ordered via Thuisbezorgd, UberEats or Deliveroo, and we have already had an order canceled 5 times in two months. Today - after 2.5 hours of waiting - the order was canceled again because the restaurant was closing. We are now completely done with Pieperz. Tip to Pieperz: if you cannot handle the number of orders via three meal delivery companies, your own website and the customers in the store, reconsider whether it is really necessary to do everything at once. You are losing customers because of the lousy service provided.

I came Saturday 9 of March at 20.10, and the three young guys, who, I guess, were the employees, were sitting talking outside of the shop. When I entered, one of them told me, Sir, it is closed, sorry. I went away, and they continued to laugh and talk. Unfortunately, as can be seen both on the window of the shop itself and on line, the closure time is 21.00 on Saturday, and to fry some chips or other products, would definetely not have taken 50mins. With these employees, you are losing customers, for sure, at least one.

Have eaten several times and ordered once. Good food, but what I think is a shame is that one of the employees always appears to be grumpy. A slightly older woman.

The food is quality is rather questionable. I had kroketten and bitterballen which both had a strange aftertaste, which I didn’t seem to have eating this elsewhere. The fries though were very good. The service has no manners and no idea how to talk with clients. First night getting food from there I straight away tell the boy that I cannot read the menu since it’s in Dutch but sort of know what I want (knew for the bitterballen) and needed a little help. He just stood there blinking and no help. Next day I pick up my order and the beer was forgotten. Came back 10mins afterwards, told the girl they seem to have left it out, she just blinked annoyed since she was on her phone and I paused her, turned back and got one without even apologising. No, I wouldn’t visit 3rd time, gave a chance for a second time, but that treatment is not okay. Teach your staff.

Fantastic fries, and very nice staff. Unfortunately, the sticky banister was not so nice. We also did not understand why there was a (too) large truck cabin on the 1st floor, and dilapidated tractor engine hoods as a "table leg".

Opening times on website, Google and on the door of the restaurant are incorrect, they closed earlier.

PIEPERZ'S END OF YEAR FIASCO To start with my bad experience with Piepers Eindhoven, there were 2 employees hanging outside on the terrace and vaping. Very strange sight and I doubt whether they are old enough to vape. Still decided to go inside and there I found the third staff member who was supposedly on a break. She showed no interaction whatsoever and just made us wait. While 2 other guests were messing around with the ordering column and clearly showed that it was not possible to order via the column. And yet the young lady thought her break was more important. Eventually 1 of the 2 sitting outside came in to take the order. The lady who was taking a break also said: "Yes, I'm still on a break." That was indeed noticeable. The tables at the entrance were also still full of rubbish from previous customers. Of course, this doesn't give a good picture of the rest of the case. When they enter, they are already 2-0 behind. Unfortunately, I later encountered the same situation on the 1st floor. Very unprofessional behavior and appearance of the business. After taking the order, I asked if we could sit down or have to wait for the food. Sitting upstairs was possible, so I expected the food to be brought upstairs as normal. This was not the case. Apparently your number was called and you had to come downstairs to pick up your food yourself. All 5 employees were too lazy to bring the food upstairs. And that while there were 2 employees outside on the terrace. It was not that it was not possible because of the crowds, because there were only 7 other people in the restaurant. After being tipped off by another table, I realized it was my order. After I went downstairs for my food, I tipped them to shout louder. Or to bring it up. Fries were cooked well, just a pity that my wart was made into a fries waterfall with the satay separately...?? While eating we heard the staff downstairs shouting and messing with each other, which created a restless and unpleasant atmosphere. I thought that the young and some even underage employees had no decency and I still find it strange that there was no manager present. It was a chaotic mess. And that is a shame for a well-established chip shop with a good product. I hope it doesn't end in the same way as Pieperz Helmond.

Eten was lekker maar een portie pulled pork is klein. Moet je dan er perse iets bijnemen om gegeten te hebben

Ooit was het fijn om even snel (goed) te eten hier, maar nu wacht je superlang, wordt er inefficiënt gewerkt, gaan bezorgdiensten voor op bezoekende klanten en krijg je nog stijf bevroren snacks opgediend. Erg jammer dat de kwaliteit zo achteruit holt. Voor ons niet meer op deze locatie helaas.

Retro restaurant met goede online bestel mogelijkheden, en leuke aankleding binnen. Breed assortiment te vinden online en een award van 2018 als je binnenkomt. Het duurde wat lang voor het eten klaar was (we waren hier met GLOW en er was schijnbaar grote drukte op thuisbezorgd) maar het eten was van goede kwaliteit.

Öncelikle patatesin lezzetli olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Ketçap sosları gerçekten çok leziz. Dekorasyon çok cezbedici. Patatesler taze ve önünüze dondurucudan gelmiyor. Genellikle siparişin hazırlanması bi patates kızartması için biraz fazla uzun sürer. Fotoğraflardaki gibi sunulan mantar sosun veya tavuğun asla lezzetli olmadığını söyleyebilirim. Bundan sonraki tercihimiz sadece patates ve ketçap mayonez gibi soslar olacak. Patateslerin altına koydukları bir yaprak marul buldum. Konulmasa çok daha iyi olurmuş çünkü temiz değildi. Bir dilim de vasat bir domates vardı. Ne zaman gitsek masalar kırıntılarla dolu. Sandalyelere soslar dökülmüş. Bomboş haldeyken bile oturacak yer bulmakta zorlanırsınız.

Schöne, grob geschnittene Pommes, leckere Satésoße. Oben drüber ein ziemlich großer Raum zum drinnen sitzen, wenn dass Wetter es draußen vor der Fritture nicht zulässt. Wir fanden es lecker.

Kleiner, rustikaler Laden mit wirklich tollen Pommes! Lediglich die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man sollte sich immer bewusst sein, um was es sich handelt: Tiefgefrorener Fast-Food Kram. Hier wird nicht versucht einem etwas anderes zu verkaufen, man kann sogar bei der Zubereitung zuschauen. Wer gute Frikandeln mit Spitzen-Pommes sucht, ist hier richtig!

The best fries in Eindhoven! I recently visited Pieperz Eindhoven and I was blown away by the fries! They were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they tasted amazing. I also tried the kroketten and the frikandellen, and they were both delicious. The service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Pieperz Eindhoven to anyone looking for a great place to eat fries and snacks in Eindhoven. I would also mention that Pieperz Eindhoven is a great place to go for a casual meal. It's not fancy, but the food is delicious and the service is excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Eindhoven.
