Snackbar Happy Eater in Erp

If this is what a large portion of fries is like, my last visit there is a fact. Also a sashimi that you throw in the deep fryer; nothing is left of your onion and paprika but some black sludge. On top of that, those small pieces of meat dry out so much that you can just throw the co away. Very disappointing, I'm used to better there.... Get it there again, fries special with a thimbleful of mayo, curry, and onions. A complete disgrace

Bad fries, they were very soggy. Snacks were soaked in grease, as if everything had been fried at way too low a temperature. While I was waiting, a cold block of fat was just thrown into the fryer; well, that doesn't do much good for the temperature of the oil. Yeah, not good..

A real old-fashioned snack bar where quality comes first. The staff work well together. As a result, you get your order quickly and they remain friendly. When we received our food, the lady said that I actually should have ordered curry with my snack. I wanted to order it as an extra, but I got it and was allowed to stay seated. It was indeed much tastier. It used to always be like that, but I appreciate it more and more.

That is Sander... that nearly bald legend behind the counter. 👨‍🦲😂 Sander might not have much hair left, but fortunately, he compensates for that with humor. His hairstyle is so aerodynamic that the smell of frying glides over it effortlessly. When the sun shines, you hardly need to turn on the lights inside. 😎☀️ They say experience comes with age... but with Sander, only the hair is gone. Fortunately, his service has stuck with you, because it is truly top-notch! In short: come for the snacks, stay for the jokes, and don't forget your sunglasses when Sander is behind the griddle. 🤣 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

You get the best fries in Eindhoven right here! No Bram Ladage can compete with that! The price-quality ratio is top-notch, the staff is friendly, and if you have questions about allergies, they are happy to check for you! The mayo is lactose-free, by the way, just saying!

Really a top snack bar! A tad too pricey, but it is really super tasty! Great choice!

I have always been very satisfied, but a few weeks ago I forgot the mayonnaise with my fries. I thought it could happen, it was a hot day. Today my husband went to get fries again and once again, no mayonnaise with my fries. And yes, it was hot today too, but I do find it typical that this has happened twice in a short time... a shame.

I was alerted by a nurse from the Catharina hospital to take a look at the happy eater during my visit. Everything we have been able to eat in the past few weeks has been a delight. And everything I have seen others eat has always looked amazing. It doesn't matter what you order, everything is great. A beer on the terrace is not possible. But you can drink it nearby on a bench. Too bad I don't live nearby. Otherwise I would have become a regular customer. Eugenio Kuypers

I was in the hospital and the food was not bad. So I came to the happy Eater and now I'm completely happy again, great service!

Helaas vandaag friet gehaald, 1 grote friet een grote friet speciaal! De friet bestond voor 3/4 uit kleine harde stukjes echt heel jammer ! Haal vaker daar friet maar vandaag brak je bijna je tanden erop en het was ook niet echt warm! Had me er erg op verheugd maar het was echt een desillusie We hadden er ook snacks bij daar was niks mis mee maar daar kun je ook weinig aan verpesten!

We buy frietjes here for takeaway. We havent try other food. While waiting for the order we see other guests coming, ordering, consuming and I think the place is authentic and has good vibes.

Nice, cozy and nicely decorated little snack bar. The snack bar is not too big so there are not a lot of seats inside, but that is usually not a problem. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent and nothing more expensive than the others in the area. In the summer months you can also sit outside on the adjacent terrace. Directly next to the business there are several parking spaces specifically intended for their customers, something that is very convenient.

Delicious fries and snacks. Sufficient mayo with fries. Friendly staff. Fries are nice and thick, I like them better than the so-called French ones. Price-quality certainly in relation (Aug 2024).

Good food and service, but a bit small inside

I got a hamburger here because my mother was looking forward to it. This one was delicious though. I must say it looked good too.

Milkshake didn't come out quite right, but it was resolved immediately, really great service, see you next time

Just good fries. Not that salty, but you can add that at home

Great Snack Bar. Large fries with a snack and a drink are between 10 and 15 euros. Large Fries Specially ordered with an XXL Viandel, taken a seat inside. After about 6-7 minutes it was ready. Fries Special were great, good fries, fresh onion. The Viandel XXL was a bit disappointing, it had probably been in the freezer for a long time. I actually understand that this will not be ordered very often. I will probably come back again, but then I will order another snack :)

Very few seats available but otherwise it is nice! The burgers and fries are really good! The half chicken was also tasty but was also a little bit dry. This is the only reason for 4* instead of 5.

Op 1 na lekkerste friet in Eindhoven. Klein zaakje maar wel gezellig en lekker eten.

Ik had een grote friet saté besteld. De friet had iets langer in het vet gekund, er zaten veel harde kleine stukjes tussen en de hoeveelheid viel tegen. De satésaus was te dun, had te weinig smaak en de hoeveelheid viel ook tegen. Al met al niet zo'n geweldige ervaring.

De friet is buitengewoon lekker! Een 10. Snacks waren ook lekker. Service was prima. I'll be returning to Happy Eater soon, hungry for more!

In een paar maanden tijd hier een paar maal met collega's gegeten omdat we in het ziekenhuis aan het werk waren. Telkens met een groep van 6-8 man tegelijk binnen. Verschillende bestellingen. Toch alles mooi tegelijk klaar zodat we met zijn allen tegelijk konden eten. Alles kwalitatief goed tot zeer goed.

Happy Eater is een uitstekende snackbar, je wordt snel geholpen, als je belt om te halen dan staat het meestal al klaar, ondanks de drukte. Friet is goed gebakken, snacks zijn van prima kwaliteit. Bediening is goed.
