Pilz & Grillz in Veghel

Ordered a duo satay with fries for €24; the quality was good, but it was a bit little for the money.. in that respect, you would have been better off eating a duo or trio in Uden..

Had a delicious meal, highly recommended, and a lovely atmosphere at the Veghel harbor. Top-notch staff.

Super cozy location by a small harbor. Inside, old-fashioned cozy, and the meat, truly sublime. It has been a long time since I enjoyed meat so intensely.

We went out to dinner with our family for my birthday. We specified gluten-free when booking. It was disappointing that there wasn't a gluten-free bun, but it wasn't a disaster. The starter was delicious. Spareribs were ordered and received as a main course. The salad bowl didn't look very appetizing due to some discolored lettuce. When I asked if the fries were gluten-free, the waitress inquired. She returned with the message that unfortunately, they weren't, and no alternative was offered. I asked if they could fry some gluten-free fries, and the waitress went back to the chef. The chef told me it wasn't possible because he didn't have any oil to fry them in. The waitress then went to the chef a third time to ask him to fry some potatoes. She then returned with the chef's message that he didn't have any potatoes. She explained that there was nothing she could do about it, but the chef clearly wasn't in the mood for it that evening and that I would write a review about it. A short time later, the chef arrived at the table, not wishing me a good evening or introducing myself, but simply asking, "What's the problem?" He explained that the problem was that I only had spare ribs as a main course, and that I expected them to accommodate gluten-free reservations. This was at least the eighth time I'd eaten there, and I'd never experienced this before, even though the restaurant was always full. The chef then said he'd make something. After I was almost finished with my spare ribs, he finally brought me a bowl of fries. He put them down and rushed off, so I couldn't ask how he'd managed without oil... I wasn't offered a cup of coffee on the house or even an apology. We were done with the atmosphere and skipped dessert. They had delicious Hertog ice cream at the supermarket... Actually, it's a nice local restaurant that I'd like to visit more often, but I don't feel welcome after Friday. NB: The waitresses were very friendly and customer-friendly!

My first time with the family. The waitress dropped all our first drinks that we ordered. Food was disappointing. The spareribs were dry. Fries not tasty. The salad was also not tasty. The presentation of the food on the plate very empty and boring. Unfriendly staff. Not worth repeating👎

Great location, right in the center. Beautiful view of the harbor, really delicious food, spacious and sufficient. Will definitely come back often.

3 people at the bar // 1 person has a full, fresh plate // but I was told the kitchen is closed, well, hard to believe. Yes, if that's the case and they want to be alone, they can lock the door, but not indicate it's open on Google. It's a hassle to get there. It may be a nice place, but I found this a bit inappropriate, especially since someone was also coming out of the kitchen. I would have eaten a little something anyway.

Had dinner here one evening with a group of colleagues, after a visit to the Noordkade. Quiet atmosphere, nice surroundings, good and smooth service.

Massive spare ribs and tasted great too. What impressed me most is that they were swift and top their game despite the place being rammed with people. Also very decent prices.

I don't mind paying more money for tastier food, but this is too expensive and too little food hands down. Definitely not recommended! A friend of mine complained that his angus beef was not that tasty and could not possibly have been 230 grams as it was very small. Response was: "I will discuss it with the kitchen." We don't know if that happened - no feedback from this complaint. Sometimes you find a new place like that and you think: yes, we will go here more often! Unfortunately, this is certainly not one of them.

Recently wanted to visit Pilz & Grills. Once inside, a waitress asked if they still had a table. She indicated that she still had it, but that it could take a little longer due to the crowds, no problem of course. After she told us this, another colleague shouted at her that she had to discuss something like this with someone in the kitchen first, after which she stood shouting in the kitchen to make it clear that she did not want to help us because it was too busy. The lady who helped us then came to us with a sad face to tell us that the kitchen was almost out of stock and they could not help us. We then crossed the street to 'La Stancia', where we were helped well and had a delicious meal!

By far the best spareribs in Veghel and the surrounding area, perhaps even in the Netherlands? :) Friendly staff and good price/quality, usually pick up. When picked up, the menus are in special containers, so the food stays nice and warm.

Delicious Mixed Grill. The meat was tender and nicely seasoned/marinated. Plenty of meat on the plate. Delicious fries and a bowl of raw vegetables.

Erg gezellig restaurant, met uitstekende bediening en heerlijk eten. Ik was alleen. En kreeg een lekker plaatsje aan de bar. Logisch. Ik had niet gereserveerd. En het was heerlijk druk. Dat gun ik uiteraard iedere ondernemen en tijdens het eten van mijn maaltijd (Ossenhaas puntjes) begrijp ik ook helemaal waarom het zo druk is. Top gerecht! Echt een aanrader.

I was amazed at the speed and friendliness with which the staff provided us with very tasty food. There is a cozy, relaxed atmosphere and the food is really tasty. Definitely recommended if you want to eat something in Veghel with a group.

Het is een leuk restaurant aan de haven in Veghel. Het was best druk (nagenoeg vol) maar de bediening was accuraat. Vriendelijk personeel en een goede kwaliteit eten.

Lekker gegeten & goede porties. De menu-kaart geeft genoeg keuze en is niet te lang en ook niet te kort. Restaurant heeft een prima uitstraling en personeel is goed/aardig. Zeer tevreden. Dichtbij parkeren zal trouwens in elk geval doordeweeks geen probleem zijn.

Topavond gehad met z'n tweeën. Goed bieradvies en super enthousiaste serveerster. En belangrijk! Goed eten. Prima loopafstand tot aan het theater. Heerlijk gezeten en gegeten.

Prima eten niet duur, maar wel met kanttekeningen: Carpaccio pittig, hoort niet. Garnalen top. 2x tonijnsteak met harde stukken en vel en te zout. Friet te zout. Sorbet lekker. IJstaartpuntjes lijken zo uit fabriek te komen.

Prima eten spareribs waren wel beetje droog maar de spiesje waren prima gebakken en de friet lekker.

Eindelijk een restaurant gevonden waar het klopt. Het eten was lekker, je zat lekker en het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Prijs , kwaliteit was prima in verhouding.

Gezellige avond gehad. We zaten heerlijk buiten. Eten smaakte prima. Iedereen had wat anders besteld. Compliment ook voor de bediening, erg vriendelijk. We komen zeker nog x terug!

Zeker een perfecte bediening. Het eten was goed. Ossehaaspuntjes waren zeer goed van smaak maar voor mij iets te doorbakken. Door dit kenbaar te maken aarzelden ze geen moment en ik kreeg nieuwe ossehaaspuntjes. dus dit was klasse.

Tijdens de afgelopen vakantie twee keer te gast geweest bij Pilz & Grillz en beide keren prima bevallen. Eten en service zijn goed en ook de sfeer (tweede keer buiten in het kommetje van Veghel) hebben zeker bijgedragen aan de positieve ervaring. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en vlot. Prima plek om aan te schuiven als je in Veghel bent 👍

Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Wir waren etwas im Stress, da unser Besuch sehr spät (Nach 20.30) Uhr ankam und die Küche schon zu hatte. Wir konnten vorher bestellen und es wurde dann, sobald unsere Freunde da waren, serviert. Sehr gute Spareribs und die Saté Auswahl war super.
