Not recommended! If only we'd read the reviews before visiting, they were absolutely accurate. We ate the burger. Frozen patties... and bone dry, too. No sauce on the burger. And €8.50 for a Coke is a bit excessive. Not again!

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Amsterdam. The food took two hours to arrive and we ordered a pizza, salad, and bruschetta. There was no reason given for the delay and we saw others experiencing the same. A fellow customer offered to pay for our drinks in cash and instead of putting the full amount towards our drinks, the staff pocketed the remainder. Do not go here. Not worth the time, money spent, or the frustrating experience.

Avoid – a disgraceful experience A disgrace, from start to finish. The kind of place you regret ever having set foot in within the first few minutes. Orders taken quickly, sure… but after that? Nothing. A Coke billed at €8.50, delivered 20 minutes later after having to ask for it. A friend orders a beer? We tell him there isn't one. Ten minutes later, the other tables are served… with beers. The wait for the main courses is simply scandalous: more than 40 minutes for two plates, the third arrives almost 10 minutes later. And brace yourself: a starter arrives after the main course, with the sauce following even later. It's a joke. The food isn't any better: pasta with (5) small scampi served with the clams still on, carbonara with no flavor, just cream and haphazardly cut ham. The plates? Disturbingly dirty. A real lack of hygiene. While I'm still eating, they're clearing the others' tables without any hesitation. I've barely put my cutlery down when someone jumps on me to pay. And to top it all off, I leave my phone on the table, and a waiter takes it. If it hadn't been spotted in time, I would never have seen it again. 👉 Junk food, uncleanliness, dishonesty, and a total disregard for customers. This place has no business being a restaurant.

They don’t provide a proper menu for drinks, then charge outrageous prices (3€ for tap water, 8.50€ for a small beer!). The staff is extremely rude and makes you feel uncomfortable for asking basic questions. They get annoyed if you ask for anything – like sharing a dish or even just clarifying the bill. You feel like you’re being punished for being polite. Food was below average, overpriced, and absolutely not worth it. No hospitality, no transparency, no respect for customers. I’ve eaten in dozens of places across Europe, and this was by far the most unpleasant. Don’t be fooled by the location – this is NOT authentic Italian and NOT worth your money. STAY AWAY!

‼️Restaurant to be avoided!‼️ There's no courtesy throughout the meal, and they show their displeasure if you dare request a change in the dishes. Please note that they don't have a drinks menu: expensive prices (8.5 for a pint of Heineken). At the end of the meal, they clear the plates before you've even finished eating (I still had my slice of pizza in my mouth), and then tell you to leave quickly as a reservation is arriving at the table. They put up a "reserved" sign and then remove the sign once you've left the restaurant, even though you're still in front of the place and can see what a rip-off the sign is. The toilets are dirty, with no bowl and no soap, and the stairs to get there are very steep, even dangerous. The dishes weren't very good, and the burrata pasta was far too salty. Restaurant to be avoided really, no sympathy and no politeness, very expensive prices.

Watch out , tourist trap ‼️ They don't give you a drink menu and then we paid 3 euros for a glass of water. 8,5 for a pint of Heineken. 98 euros for 4 person, for 4 microwave meals. You can't remove stuff from the pizza recipe. The waiters are not kind and stressing. We have been pushed to leave the table many times until they came back to say "sorry it gonna be booked.". We left and they removed straight after to sign "booked". We are not dumb. I don't recommend, worse place ,‼️‼️‼️

This place is absolutely terrible. The server was extremely incompetent, and splitting the bill between eight people was rocket science. He also kept looking at me like I was dessert. The food tasted like frozen food and took longer than applying for a driver's license. Please don't eat here, I'm probably sick by now.

The numerous negative reviews are unfortunately true. We ordered three pizzas, and both the toppings and the crust on all three were absolutely inedible. It's beyond us how such a simple dish could be prepared so poorly. Furthermore, a soft drink costs €8.50, and we waited almost an hour for the pizzas, even though there were only three tables occupied. Therefore, we recommend everyone avoid this restaurant.

The vegetarian pizza was delicious. Service was fast. The prices were reasonable.

Simply awful food. Got a calzone that's never even been in the same zip code with any spices. Dough couldn't be more tasteless and the vegetables were undercooked. The two pieces of salami I managed to locate were ok. You'd have to go out of your way to make food this bad.

When we wanted to use the toilet we were rudely told that we had to pay. Of course it wasn't a problem for us, but the way the waitress hit on us in the shop in front of other guests wasn't acceptable at all.

Help! The cleanliness is a disaster. The stairs to the toilet are a highlight. When you go to the toilets you get a look into the kitchen. We should have read the reviews beforehand! Hygiene - none! The food was mediocre and the service very distant. There is no drinks menu (only soft drinks and beer). So in the end you are very shocked at the prices! Over €8 for a beer is quite a number. We can definitely recommend the restaurant!

This shop has nothing to do with pizza or pasta bars. I had a "Pizza Funghi". It came fresh from the freezer! Pizza warmed/lukewarm, cheese not melted and a few raw mushrooms thrown on it later. The dough is mushy and has the same consistency as you would find in the freezer. The herbs on top are reminiscent of a delicious Italian pizza - but puff cake! I didn't eat the pizza. My husband ate spaghetti seafood and he got sick afterwards. Everything comes from the freezer and is “spiced up” with simple tricks. The cutlery only comes to the table after the meal, although that seems completely unimportant now. Funny how the locals get “good food”. Probably because we tourists won't eat there anymore anyway. AND WE WILL NOT DO THAT ANYMORE VOLUNTARILY. This is not a pizza and pasta bar but a juice shop, an impudence and an impudence. You can rate one star as 0 stars.

Excellent welcome from the staff. The cat that slept on the chair next to me while we ate dinner was amazing. The background of Spanish music is pleasant. Thanks to this Italian restaurant, I was able to taste the very famous Sofia Loren pasta, a delight for the palate; the chicken inside the pasta combined very well with the mushrooms and created a sublime creaminess. The pizza perfectly represented Italian style and cuisine, the garlic inside the margherita was a touch of class, almost like a gourmet pizza; the vintage wooden cutting board, on which the pizza was placed, gave greater flavor and that hint of woody seasoning, typical of Italian pizza. I recommend it to everyone, especially Italians!

Restaurant out of the ordinary, literally crazy. The Sophia Loren pasta is highly recommended as it is very reminiscent of the typical flavors of Crotta D'Adda, the location is reminiscent of the Jafaar Baazar in Cairo in front of the majestic pyramids. Please do not visit! Various pasta dishes were of moderate quality and only remotely have anything in common with Italian cuisine. For example, Bolognese was served with large meatballs and carbonara with cream sauce. Prices for drinks were not shown, 0.5l non-alcoholic beer was charged at €8.5. The supposed greeting from the kitchen (small garlic bread) as a start was charged at €6.50.

Service staff is ok, however the food is really bad, so really bad. I took Spaghetti Aglio Olio because you can't really do anything wrong, the kitchen was a complete failure despite that, the food tastes like it came from the fridge

My pizza was average, and my sister’s lasagna was overcooked. The wait time for our meal was quite long (40 minutes), which only added to our disappointment. Additionally, the presentation of the food was lacking; the pizza was served on a worn-out, cracked board, and the overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired, with stained cushions and unkempt surroundings. Despite its promising location and ambiance, this restaurant fails to deliver on both food quality and service.

What the place has to improve is the service, I see there are a lot of complaints about the food, but my friend has eaten here a lot so that is why he brought me in here, and I am surprised how good it was, he had pizzas and risottos already, I have only try the salad and the pasta which shock me but I think because I had very low expectations, usually in the city centrum if you ask for a pasta with shrimps you will get frozen cheap mini shrimps, but my pasta had actual shrimps, was tasty, creamy without being overwhelming because I am not fan of places who over do the cooking cream, even the salad was great when was just a salad. I did not have crazy bad experiences with the service, like they were not rude to me, but they did forget the cutlery and could have been more attentive because we got even an extra item we did not order but they were chill and accepted their mistake, but I do believe people have bad experiences because this is a classic in Amsterdam, they are out here a a lot of tourist traps and aggressive service from people who don't have skills in customer service, so if you are a high tempered maybe is not a good idea, but if you are chill and feel like playing the Russian roulette, go ahead, I will definitely come back with friends and give it another shot.

The food tasted like air. We waited for an hour for our food, without any warning. We were a big group 9 people and the waiter told us we could not pay seperatly without telling us before hand. We got another waiter who was very angry and rude to us when we asked why can't we pay seperatly. Just skip this place, and go to a McDonald's for better food and service.

Spaghetti aglio olio simply tasted like noodles with oil and was very little for the price. Fries were not salted and the burger had no sauce and was bone dry. Seating outside was rickety and hard, just wooden chairs without seat cushions. Wouldn't go again. There were no drink menus on the table so you had to ask and we weren't told the prices. Kellerin spoke more quietly than all the other guests and could barely speak English. Toilets were next to the kitchen and very small and dirty. The way to the toilet was a steep spiral staircase. People with big feet have to be careful, I have shoe size 36 and my foot barely fit on the steps.

If we had looked at the Google rating before visiting this restaurant we would have been spared an unworthy lunch. We ordered: chicken wings, spaghetti bolognaise, a simple burger, calamari and cheesy fries. The quality of the latter was OK. as a mountain of fries gratinated with cheese. Frozen patty, two leaves of lettuce and some tomato. Sauce wasn't mentioned on the menu but it wouldn't have been a hassle and would have been the least! I could have bitten into cardboard! The prices, however, were appropriate for the location but not the food. As mentioned in other posts, garlic bread is offered here. You might think this is a greeting from the kitchen, but it's far from the truth. 6.50 per small focaccia please. CRAZY!!Please move a few meters further. Amsterdam has better culinary options to offer. Addendum: It was not possible for the operators to split the bill. We had to do this ourselves, which was difficult because there were hidden items (5 EUR kitchen allowance).

If I could give it minus stars I would. I asked a waiter if we could sit down at a table and he responded with” why are you asking me I don’t care”. I ordered a pasta dish and requested no cheese it came out with cheese and I handed it back to get a replacement. When I got the dish back, half way through eating it the cheese was all at the bottom as it had been flipped over. After I told the waiter the dish had been flipped over and he said I was wrong. The table next to us had asked for an extra empty glass for their beer as they wanted to share.The waiters tried to charge them for the empty glass! I asked another waiter for the bill and he walked by the table and put his hand up in my face. Also they tried to charge us for extra drinks we didn’t order. While being there 3 other tables had complained about the food and the customer service was appalling. The other food that was ordered at our table was awful and tasted frozen out of a packet. You’d could not pay me enough to return to this place! DREADFUL!
