A small plate of pancakes shown in the picture attached is $17 euros which was advertised as $6 euros. When we were shocked by the price and double checking our receipt, the lady owner pushed a card machine to us and talking over us with robotic-sounding “yes yes yes” to rush us to pay. Churros is 1 euro PER PIECE. We didn’t order waffles but we saw people coming in for waffles and the owner just microwaved one for them. Terrible experience. This is THE WORST place to get pancakes, waffles etc Amsterdam treats. Total tourist trap!

Prices are unclear and very expensive. A crêpe with Nutella and strawberries cost €11.

We were charged €40 for three crêpes! She wouldn't tell us the price until we had the crêpes in our hands. And they tasted really sour.

ARMED ROBBERY Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before entering. We ordered one of the waffles on display and were charged €12.50. According to the man, it was €5 for the waffle and €2.50 for each topping (a bit of Nutella and two pieces of various cookies). The prices are never clear; all you see are the prices for the waffles/crepes without anything else. A complete scam. Don't fall for it.

I paid 22 € for churos (small size) and stroopwafer with a topping ,it's a trap for tourists, nothing special about it, really disappointed , they don't have a menu so people don't check the price 😒

Best churros in Amsterdam! Friendly host, made sure we were happy with our order! While in Amsterdam we tried churros from many different places, but this was by far the best! Definitely recommended. People who left poor reviews don’t know what they are talking about!!

Scam, 20€ for 2 Crêpes, fake nutella

It is truly horrible! Don’t go there. The Nutella was face and the crepes tasted like it was rotten and every topping costed 2,5€ more. The churros were also not really good and overpriced. Don’t go here.

Scammed 13.5 euros for a crepe with Nutella, strawberry and banana. There is no crepe worth this price and particularly not for the small portion size I was given. The lady in the store told me it was 6 euros for a crepe but did not mention that a single topping would be an additional 3.5 euros. As someone who has enjoyed crepes in many places, the price has never been as outrageous as this place. The prices are not clearly advertised in any part of the store and if I had known that I was going to be basically robbed like this I would never have gone in here.

Pancakes are overpriced. 5 € for one pancake is already enough. But little did I know when u order pancake she asks u like what sauce I want,I said "u can mix those two" so she did. And final price was double the starting price, because as she said "u got two sauce's"

We ordered a crepe and two coffees with milk that cost us €14.5. The woman who served us was very rude when she told us that the crepe couldn't be eaten since it was harder than a brick, we tried it and it tasted a lot like oil. We told the waitress and she still very aggressively forced us to pay, what a scam of a place.

The churros were kind of burnt, the crepes with white chocolate and strawberries were good. For these two I payed 22€ which is very expencive.

We asked for poffertjes, but received some normal pancakes. Taste was okay, but not what we asked for. High prices for the quality you get + higher prices than what's written on the board.

We ordered dutch mini pancakes/ poffertjies, but got just normal pancakes instead, that didn't even taste very good. They also charged us 17 Euros, even though it says 6 Euros (x2) on the board. One was with just sugar, the other with strawberries and chocolate, which maybe is a bit more expensive, but not 5 Euros!! And the "cafe" is just shabby...

Ugh we didn't read the reviews. Its literally a scam. The waffles are refrigerated, they just warm them up for you. Awful taste, obviously. Overpriced. One waffle, one smallish waffle is 14 euro. The costumer service is nice but it's because they disarm you that way. And the prices on top (they don't have all the prices, they have the prices for 'plain' only, and they are low) Don't, for the love of God, DO NOT GO!!!!

Would give 0 stars. Prices not posted, crepe was chewey, fake/watered down “Nutella”, and waffles were very old - when it was reheated the entire plate was grease. $20 for a terrible crepe and even worse waffle!

Gute Crepes. Günstig wenn man es nur mit zucker isst. Jedes Topping kostet extra 2.5 Euro, deshalb wird es schnell teuer. Aber sehr lecker und angenehme Mitarbeiter.

Definitely got skanked by paying €30 for 3 average crepes (chocolate, strawberries & cream) but based on the other reviews, looks like we got a good deal. Don’t ask for nuts as topping, cost more than the strawberries! 2 stars for the memorable bants we had after being given the horrific bill! Got €1 discount because he fancied my mate.
