We have ordered Pizza Margarita and hot Coffee cappuccino. They serve the coffee which was not hot, which was not really enjoyable. We have informed the Indian waitress, who rudely replied “this is a food restaurant, and you will get what it is served “ We behavior of that Indian Waitress really undeserving. She should learn how to talk with the customers. Quality of Food was average and not great whereas they really charge high compared to a average restaurant. So this restaurant is not recommended!!

Nice Italian restaurant in the Main Street of Amsterdam. They serve pizzas and pasta. The food taste like you are in Italy. It is delicious and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and polite. The atmosphere is cozy and nice.

The Pizza Bar is located in the heart of Amsterdam, in an area popular with tourists. Its location is undoubtedly one of its strengths: convenient, central, and easy to find, it's ideal for a lunch break or a quick dinner after a day exploring the city. It's important to make a basic premise: this is not an Italian restaurant, and this is clearly evident once you try the pizza. The dough is average, the cooking is adequate but lacks character, and the end result is an acceptable pizza, filling but not truly Italian in terms of flavor or texture. Those accustomed to Italian tradition will likely be a bit disappointed. We ordered four Margherita pizzas and four small bottles of water, for a total of €55.80. Considering the simplicity of the order, the price is quite high, although partly understandable given the restaurant's extremely touristy location. Service-wise, the experience was positive: the staff were friendly, quick to take orders and serve, and always polite and helpful. This is why the service deserves 4 stars. The location is decent, with no particular strengths or distinguishing features: the ambience is simple, functional, but nothing that stands out. 3 stars here too. Unfortunately, a very negative note concerns the restroom, which was dirty and poorly maintained, decidedly unpresentable for a place open to the public, especially in such a busy city. In conclusion, the Pizza Bar is fine for a quick, unpretentious meal in the city center, but it's not the right place for those looking for a true Italian pizza experience. With some improvements, especially in terms of hygiene and overall product quality, it could offer a more compelling experience.

I had a pasta dish called Aglio e Olio with anchovies while passing by. It had a strong garlic aroma and was delicious. The portion was just right, not too big.

Unfortunately, the waitstaff seemed untrained in how to communicate with guests.

We saw a lot of good reviews so decided to try it but the area it was in made us hesitant because it’s clearly a tourist area. We’re glad we decided to try it anyway because the pesto pasta we tried was excellent. Pizza was a little too thin for me but it was good nonetheless.

Went in for coffee and cake service was very poor was not busy at to ask for coffee twice.

It's a place where I can eat with peace of mind every time I visit Amsterdam. They have delicious pizza (I think the pizzas are huge enough for one person) and pasta. I was so excited about the pasta, but I didn’t get it. I know, it’s Friday evening and it’s a bit busy, but you can still behave decently, like an employee of a fairly popular place and not a monkey with drums. My father does not speak English and he entered the restaurant first, the short waitress just shouted at him to wait at the door, I tried to explain that he did not understand and I would take him but she just ignored me and continued shouting at him. He's not deaf, he just doesn't understand. The mood was spoiled and we left.

Not great coffee (the worst we've had in a week in Amsterdam, in fact), but good food! We both had pasta dishes, and both were delicious! Flavorful, well-prepared, and we really didn't have to wait long. As for the atmosphere, the outdoor seating is a bit cramped and uncomfortable, but it's okay, and the staff is friendly.

I don't write reviews often, but this place is really going downhill. I've been coming here for years, but today I just walked out. We sat there for over 30 minutes without anyone taking our order. Meanwhile, several customers who came in later were helped. When I indicated I'd like to order, I was told "just a moment," after which she calmly took someone else's order. Moreover, the waitress's behavior (a small woman dressed all in black) was downright rude. I even saw another group of customers leave because of the way she was addressed. It's a shame, because that's how you lose regular customers.

BEST PIZZA IN AMSTERDAM! We come once a year to Amsterdam and we always, always stop here for pizza. They remind me of the Napoli style pizza, they are thin, a very flavorful dough and the cheese and sauce are just perfect. Wow, and the price is excellent in comparison to other places. It tasted good, but there's still room for improvement. For our main course, we both had the spaghetti carbonara, and it was absolutely fantastic! The value for money is also absolutely perfect! Considering the location, you might think this place is just about serving each guest quickly, but that's not the case! A very simple and cozy restaurant.. Personally, I really liked the flavors.. The pasta truffle and I asked to add smoked salmon with it, it was very delicious and the sauce was homemade 😋.. Even the pizza is amazing.. But a word of advice, don't go there during closing time at 9:30. We went in and ate as if they were running after us quickly, quickly, because of the actions of the employees 🥲🙅

I ordered a Margherita pizza from them, it was delicious, honestly, and the second order was pesto pasta, we didn’t like it, and two colas. The bill wasn’t high, it was reasonable.

Today, i ate the best pasta and home-made tiramisu I've ever had! (And I've been to Italy). As someone who is quite a picky eater, i had a great time at this restaurant. The pasta was great (i had one with creamy truffle-sauce and mushrooms) and the employee's were very kind and helpful. To avoid, don't be fooled by the "PIZZA €9.95" at the entrance, the pizza dough is extremely thin, the pasta poorly cooked, covered in olive oil, if you come with someone you are obliged to pay for everyone, because you cannot divide several people.

It was so good! We are going back tonight on our last night here. We had two pizzas and ate the leftovers for dinner later, then coffee and cheese cake with a rasberry sauce. So good!

Amazing pizzas, made fresh and had a lovely crust on them. Good location, quick service and reasonably priced. Additional toppings were very fairly priced too. We also had the mozzarella dippers to start with which were delicious and the dip was amazing. We asked for extra dip to go with the pizzas too which was provided. Would recommend for anyone looking for an authentic pizza in Amsterdam!

We arrived here and greeted promptly by a staff at the entrance. They gave us a seat and that’s where the service ended. We saw two waiting staff chatting and we asked them to take the order, they asked us to wait (while they finish chatting). In general it was good experience with good food. But the waiting staff let the whole experience down. There a lot of good Italian restaurant in the vicinity with better service.

Horrible service. Among the many absurdities in the service, the worst was when I asked for a glass of ice and the waitress said she wouldn't bring it because the restaurant was too busy. Every time I tried to talk to a waiter or waitress, they rolled their eyes, even when ordering food, lol. It was almost comical. I'll never go there again, especially because the food was so bland and tasteless. Run away!

Oh my god. Sooo perfect, truly feels like you have travelled to a little corner in Italy. The pizza is to die for and has so many options to choose from, you can happily customise to your needs. The pasta dishes from what I've seen are equally good and very generous with the portions so you are getting your bang for your buck! And the tiramisu? Home-made, on site. And it shows! (tastes??) Definitely a must try, give this place a visit if you crave a pizza fix. 🍕
