We ordered a four-cheese pizza that really tasted like two cheeses: mozzarella and blue cheese. The service was friendly and fast.

Today we went to the pasta bar and were immediately given a lovely, cozy table. My son had a Pizza Torno and absolutely loved it. The pizza was truly delicious; I tried it too, of course, and I can only agree. My pasta was also very good, and my wife's pasta was delicious as well. The prices were perfectly reasonable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely go back. It's definitely worth a visit.

Had a lovely experience here! From the moment we walked in, the welcoming and friendly Italian waitress made us feel right at home—her warmth and hospitality really made our visit special. We started with the crisp bruschetta, which was a great appetizer. For our mains, we tried the seafood pasta, penne con salsa rosa, and chicken Alfredo—all cooked wonderfully and packed with flavor. The only minor downside was that the downstairs restrooms could use a bit more cleaning, but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time thanks to the fantastic service. The restaurant is located right in the middle of the central train station square and is a hugely popular spot for eating, especially in August. Everyone loves pizza and pasta. But I was skeptical that it would be a tourist trap, which wasn't the case at all. An absolute culinary masterpiece. It was so good that I asked if it was Italian. The waiter said it was Iranian-Israeli cuisine. And I have to say, both the pizza and the pasta were exactly as they should be. Perfect tomato sauce with a light garlic blend and balsamic. The cheese pizza was baked in a stone oven and cost only €9.99 for the size. The mushroom pasta was very creamy and made with well-chosen mushrooms—an absolute must-try.

Food: penne al oesto It was tasty, fresh pesto and pine nuts. Service: friendly and literally with a smile or two... three, etc. Atmosphere: beautiful view, a city with charm. You do have to be able to handle the fact that it is incredibly busy there (all of Amsterdam btw)

I didn’t have much of an appetite, so we just walked into a reasonably priced restaurant without expecting much—but what a pleasant surprise! Everything was delicious. The pizza and bread were exceptional, and I especially liked that the pasta wasn’t overly salty. The herb butter served with the bread was satisfying as well.

I went to eat a Hawaiian pizza, but only a ham pizza was available. I asked for an ice cream and they brought me a hot tea. Not recommended.

Nothing amazing here. €4.80 for a coke is sort of obscene. We ordered Hawaiian pizza and Margherita pizza, both very basic. Sliced deli ham and canned pineapple on the Hawaiian, no basil on the Margherita (just call it a cheese pizza???). Pasta with Alfredo was again so basic. Just noodles and sauce that was definitely not fresh made as advertised. Could have had a frozen pizza and pasta from a box and saved the price tag. Not sure what the hype is here, we must have missed something.

Amazing food, reasonable prices for the location.

We were there on the night of the World Cup final. The food was good, but one member of the staff asked us to change tables in the middle of our meal just so they could fit more customers. We agreed because we wanted to be nice, but it was still quite disappointing. The rest of the staff were kind and friendly. Unfortunately, one waiter kept asking us to order more if we wanted to stay and watch the match, even though we hadn’t even finished our meals yet. It made us feel rushed and unwelcome.

We had a lovely time at Pizzapastabar. Both times we went I got the aglio olio and my partner got the margarita pizza and they were absolutely fantastic and they have so many options there's definitely something for everyone. The staff were so lovely and on the first day the young man serving us was playing Ye and singing along which was a lovely atmosphere since we were also in Amsterdam for the gig, he also remembered us and welcomed us back the second day we were there. It's good quality food for a very reasonable price and I HIGHLY recommend this place for food.

Even though I was only here for a few days, I ended up coming back several times and every visit was amazing. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. You can really tell that the people working here genuinely love what they do, and that creates such a special atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious every time, and the whole place feels very relaxed and cozy. Yes, it might be a little pricey, but the atmosphere, service, and quality definitely make it worth it. Had really nice pizza.. The taste was nice and the service was awesome. If you want to keep it light then 1pizaa will be enough for two.. Only thing was, they were charging even for hot water (there is no free hot water in Netherlands I guess, they charge (€3-4) it as tea, which was shocking)

We ordered the Margherita pizza and the pasta Bolognese. It was quite crowded inside (in the evening), and we were seated right by the door, which was always open. As a result, it was rather cold. The restrooms were out of toilet paper. The pizza was good, and so was the pasta. However, I would recommend ordering a different type of pasta. The sauce is very tasty, but the thick pasta unfortunately almost completely masks the flavor. Also, the portion wasn't very large, especially considering the price. The staff was very friendly.

Found on the main street, really good pasta and pizza - you can even make your own one which I did. Quite pricey as I left over 60 euro for two people there but it was worth it and like anything in Amsterdam is expensive. We were able to bring left overs home and the staff was very nice. I will 100% be going again. Possible to sit outside and people watch but inside is nice and cosy. Well worth going for good stone baked pizza

I think food in Amsterdam isn’t great but I’ve been back here 3 times for the pasta never let down. Really like it.

After two days of junk food, I was craving pasta, and I wasn't disappointed. Don't hesitate to ask for bread served with garlic butter (it's amazing). The only downside is that the door stays open, and there's a slight draft in February.

Friendly waiter, very fast service. The tagliatelle is excellent, the spaghetti with tomato sauce is nothing special. Be aware that a bottle of water costs €4, so remember to take it home after your meal! lol

We have ordered Pizza Margarita and hot Coffee cappuccino. They serve the coffee which was not hot, which was not really enjoyable. We have informed the Indian waitress, who rudely replied “this is a food restaurant, and you will get what it is served “ We behavior of that Indian Waitress really undeserving. She should learn how to talk with the customers. Quality of Food was average and not great whereas they really charge high compared to a average restaurant. So this restaurant is not recommended!!

Nice Italian restaurant in the Main Street of Amsterdam. They serve pizzas and pasta. The food taste like you are in Italy. It is delicious and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and polite. The atmosphere is cozy and nice.

The Pizza Bar is located in the heart of Amsterdam, in an area popular with tourists. Its location is undoubtedly one of its strengths: convenient, central, and easy to find, it's ideal for a lunch break or a quick dinner after a day exploring the city. It's important to make a basic premise: this is not an Italian restaurant, and this is clearly evident once you try the pizza. The dough is average, the cooking is adequate but lacks character, and the end result is an acceptable pizza, filling but not truly Italian in terms of flavor or texture. Those accustomed to Italian tradition will likely be a bit disappointed. We ordered four Margherita pizzas and four small bottles of water, for a total of €55.80. Considering the simplicity of the order, the price is quite high, although partly understandable given the restaurant's extremely touristy location. Service-wise, the experience was positive: the staff were friendly, quick to take orders and serve, and always polite and helpful. This is why the service deserves 4 stars. The location is decent, with no particular strengths or distinguishing features: the ambience is simple, functional, but nothing that stands out. 3 stars here too. Unfortunately, a very negative note concerns the restroom, which was dirty and poorly maintained, decidedly unpresentable for a place open to the public, especially in such a busy city. In conclusion, the Pizza Bar is fine for a quick, unpretentious meal in the city center, but it's not the right place for those looking for a true Italian pizza experience. With some improvements, especially in terms of hygiene and overall product quality, it could offer a more compelling experience.

I had a pasta dish called Aglio e Olio with anchovies while passing by. It had a strong garlic aroma and was delicious. The portion was just right, not too big.

Unfortunately, the waitstaff seemed untrained in how to communicate with guests.

We saw a lot of good reviews so decided to try it but the area it was in made us hesitant because it’s clearly a tourist area. We’re glad we decided to try it anyway because the pesto pasta we tried was excellent. Pizza was a little too thin for me but it was good nonetheless.

Went in for coffee and cake service was very poor was not busy at to ask for coffee twice.

It's a place where I can eat with peace of mind every time I visit Amsterdam. They have delicious pizza (I think the pizzas are huge enough for one person) and pasta. Food was good. The owner/main lady sucked. Incredibly rude. We simply asked for new glass cups as ours had stains and she explained why we were wrong and brought plastic cups back saying we would complain about all the glass cups. Unbelievable.
