Back here after 11 months. 😅 Different name, same pizza, same pizza maker. Super delicious. A must-visit for me when we're in Leiden. I chose this pizzeria based on the excellent reviews on Google. When we got there, we realized they only do takeout. We looked around outside to see where we could sit. A woman waiting for her pizza suggested we get a drink at the pub "de Keyzer" across the street, where we could also eat the pizza. That worked out great. The pizza tasted absolutely delicious. We went back the next day 😅

You can sense passion and dedication, and you can see that those behind this project truly love their work. An Italian gem in the heart of Leiden. Highly recommended, both for those nostalgic for real pizza and those who want to discover its authenticity.

In Naples you can eat pizza in a restaurant with a Michelin star. Really delicious! Piano B Leiden may not have a star but the pizzas are (almost) just as delicious, especially Cotto E Funghi is recommended!

Update 2024 May 22: He told me yesterday that they will open today, Wednesday, if everything goes according to plan. Update 2024 April 30: Scaffolding has been removed, but the pizzeria is still closed. It can be read that they are closed until mid-April. Update 2024 March 2: They told me Piano B will be closed until the end of April because of renovation works on the entire building! This time the pizza was quite small. She said it was the dough? Tasted good otherwise.

Then took dinner there 😊 The staff was super friendly, even though he was quite stressed. After me, 15 men came through the door in one fell swoop. Words cannot express how flavorful and fantastic the pizzas are at Piano B. If you want your mind blown right away, order their Diavola Deluxe and eat it while it is piping hot (see image). The Italian guys crafting these slices of heaven just know what they are doing and their creations are nothing short of masterpieces. I highly, highly recommend Piano B!

Pizza with delicious dough! It's delicious from the beginning to the end of the meal. It's really delicious and I'll definitely be returning. There are some unusual items on the menu, so I want to try them all. It was only open 2 days a week, but from now on it will be open 5 days a week, so you will be able to eat when you want 😋

I bought the pizza regina here today and it tasted amazing! It comes fresh out of the oven. The staff was also super friendly and I really liked the place. There‘s also a 10% student discount! I will definitely come back again. Good to know is that it’s only take away which is nice for students.

My favorite pizza in Leiden! The crust is wonderfully doughy, they cheese to sauce ratio is great, and they have a nice variety of toppings. In fact, they’re one of the only places I’ve found with a proper Italian sausage. Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t already!
