I used to always go here. But now I picked up 2 pizzas and had to throw them both away. 1 wrong pizza and both were dripping fat. While waiting, they were bickering in the kitchen and there were few people there. Not a nice cozy atmosphere.

Nice traditional Italian restaurant. The older woman was friendly and spontaneous. Food was good. They are traditional pizzas. Price on the website has not been updated. Prices are very reasonable. We will come back anyway.

3 pizzas were ok, although the bottom was not very crispy. Veal escalopes are scary, 3 small pieces of flattened unseasoned meat with a splash of rather tasteless sauce on top. The strong garlic flavor replaced the promised gorgonzola. Sauce separately was not allowed according to the senior waitress, who had difficulty understanding what you were saying, so the other attendees understood everything correctly; "It's made this way, otherwise it won't look nice on the plate." That was probably true, but the version with sauce was certainly not nice either. To the side was a small bush of arugula. Price: €22.50; one of the more expensive dishes. The included pasta was quite tasteless according to the children. We knew this one better...until now; unfortunately.

Eaten here often, but will never come here again. We waited 1.5 hours for our food and the pizza ended up floating in grease. The lady who worked there was also very rude... when we said something about it we were attacked that it was because of the mozzarella and that it all comes from Italy so it was our fault. Today we decided to pick up a delicious lasagna again. Since we have been coming here for years, this is our regular Italian in Almelo. Unfortunately, this was also the last time. Picked up lasagna, container was just over half full and also paid 27 euros. The website states a price of 11 euros per lasagna. Still called because we were not satisfied. The lady behind the phone (the older lady in the business) was VERY unfriendly. All regular customers would know that the website was supposedly hacked and the prices were raised ages ago. Unfortunately, as regular customers, we knew nothing about it. And I recently paid the amounts as stated on the site. The container would also be completely full. So our observation of half a container is also supposedly incorrect. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture because that's not the first thing you think of. If the lady in question had behaved differently on the phone, we might have gone back for a second chance, but that was in vain. Service is really terrible. They no longer have hospitality here and if you want a nice evening it is better to go to another business where you as a customer feel welcome. I'm also shocked when I read the other bad reviews, apparently we're not the only ones!

What a faded glory, it used to be a very good pizzeria, now downright bad, we first had to wait an hour and a half for our pizza while there were only 10 people in the restaurant, the pizza base was not cooked when we said so, the chef came to get a story and sat with our fingers on our pizza and said that it was done, we should just get a pizza at the AH, well we will definitely do that, they are much better. He became very aggressive in his language. What a frustrated man, we will definitely NEVER come here again!!!!

I had seen that there was no chicken meat on the menu and no honey with tea and I was promised advance notice that the food would be prepared on my next visit. Dissatisfied! We waited exactly 1 hour and 55 minutes for our pizzas. When we called it was; “Come in an hour,” so we did so. When we entered we were allowed to take a seat. After waiting about half an hour, we asked where it was. Then came the snubbed answer: “I'm working on it, I don't know, 10 minutes.” Then I sat down again and waited another 25 minutes. No apology was offered because it took a long time, no drinks were offered because we had to wait so long, nothing at all! Hospitality and customer friendliness are hard to find. Then the taste. The sauce with the pasta was curdled. But of course you only see that when you are already at home. The lasagna was undercooked. The cheese on one of the pizzas was not melted. The edge of the pizza was so chewy and hard that it was unedible. The bottom was black. There wasn't much flavor to it. I have never experienced such a bad pizzeria. We will never come here again and I hope the rest of Almelo doesn't either!!

Food that was ordered correctly was just fine. Experience ordering and receiving the pizza was a particularly negative experience. There was a mix of communication with an order, which the young lady tried to solve in a customer-friendly manner, but was then blown off by a slightly older female staff member. We left unprofessionally and with vicarious shame. Once home, the order was still not completely correct, including a hair in the pizza. I hope for improvement.

We thought we would go out for dinner to celebrate. Waited an hour and a half for food with no communication. When asked politely how long it would take, they said in a cheeky tone: "Are you going to be in the kitchen yourself?" We saw several customers leave angry because they also thought they had had enough. We understand that it may take longer, but the way in which they communicated with the customers here was shocking. We have been shouted at, threatened and cursed at. As compensation they offer a “free drink” and then scold you at the door.

Aso staff. My friend wants to have a nice meal there with her mother and is then smartly approached and threatened by the owner and the owner's daughter because she asks several times, after waiting 1.5 hours, where the food is. "Are you going to be in the kitchen?" and "haven't you left yet?"... What a joke to read that 1 of the staff members left a fake review here, considering the entire restaurant was empty last night and therefore no one was there at that time. . Start working on your attitude if you don't want such reviews and want to retain customers, because I see similar experiences from months ago. And don't be so mean to lovely people who want to commemorate their father on Father's Day in your crappy restaurant. Disgusting!!!

Yesterday we had dinner with my family for Father's Day, the food was delicious, after waiting half an hour the food was already on the table and we enjoyed it very much! Highly recommended! Just a pity about the table next to us, a woman with her 2 children who scolded the staff because they had to wait a little longer due to crowds, the staff remained polite and looked for a solution. All in all we had a very successful evening with good food and not too expensive, it's a shame to see that the woman in question writes 4 nasty reviews to destroy this nice, cozy pizzeria. Definitely recommended and we will definitely come back. Tip for the staff, don't worry too much about all these curmudgeons on the internet, you did a great job! It's just a shame that the customer in question did not cooperate!

Very antisocial and rude. Waited two hours for our food, not enough staff. And we were rewarded with shouting as atmosphere! Very nice, don't GO!!

Waited an hour and fifteen minutes for food and when my daughter (who had taken me out for dinner) went to check and wanted to say something, no one listened to her. Other customers also complained about long waits and no cutlery…. And some canceled the main course. No apology was ever offered or asked for understanding. The owner seemed to be at the end of his life and started to react and did not want to listen…. Eventually offered a free drink or ice cream, but it was really too sad for words.

The food took 1.5 hours, nothing wrong with that when it's busy, but shouting and threatening customers is very antisocial! Not okay to treat people like that!

I'm really not a whiner, but I think it's a shame that the quality and service have deteriorated, and as is often written about Capri, you smell burnt and have to wait a long time 😬 I hope for improvement for them, otherwise you'll see me there not again soon.

Excellent pizzas. Too bad the service does not consist of serving your ordered pizza within a certain time. The situation now is that pizzas ordered by telephone are made and can be picked up earlier than the man at the table is served his pizza. Estimate him to be about thirteen years old. He did his best and the order was taken fairly quickly. Probably had to wait an hour and a half for the food due to the crowds. Unfortunately, the wrong food was brought to one person. A pizza instead of pasta. The unfriendly adult waitress indicated that this was on the list. But indicated that we had not ordered this. Half an hour later, after an additional inquiry, the ordered item was delivered. As compensation we were offered coffee and tea which we did not receive. Compliments for the little man who was serving. He has taken responsibility several times for things that did not go well and apologized. One star for the adult employees. We won't come here again.

Made a reservation for 6 people a week in advance, when we were there we ordered food, an hour after we ordered they said they were busy with our food, we waited 2 hours in total and then decided to leave. There was also a couple who came much later, they did have food but were dabbing their pizzas with napkins so we were glad we left. Too bad we hadn't seen the newer reviews before booking, otherwise we wouldn't have gone based on that alone. Highly recommended.

It took them over an hour and a half to bring us our food and then it was very poor in quality. In the end we were also ripped off on price compared to the card, but the person who paid did not realize this right away. I have good memories of this restaurant, and that makes it even more difficult that it is now absolutely no longer worth it to go there.

Tonight we had dinner at this restaurant, the service was very friendly, but the food was not that fantastic. We had 3 pizzas and a pasta and we had to wait an hour and a half for them... we smelled something burnt the whole time and we think the pizzas were burnt first, but they didn't say anything about it so it was a bit crazy. When we got the food, the pasta was fine, but the calsone pizza had almost nothing on it and was mainly dough. Were with a bachelor party. Terrible, what a crap tent. Lights were not on, heating was off, radio was off Had to ask for drinks even though we had been there for half an hour in the dark!!! Still couldn't apologize. The service employee was called in while she was ill, and she did her best. I will never come here again!

We've been going here for years because they always had the best lasagna here. Unfortunately they don't make it anymore. Although the taste was good, it was slightly burnt and only half of a normal portion. Everything we ordered was little. Small pizzas, little pasta. Only the penne carbonara was a normal portion. Another pasta was also burnt. The two stars are still for the taste, which was generally good. But don't order here anymore. From other reviews I understand that this decline has been taking place for some time. Too bad because they used to be the bomb!

I'm still in shock. I've been coming here for so long but last night was a huge disappointment. Had to wait more than an hour for the soup. The lasagna was out... never seen it in 36 years. The bebe macaroni was not creamy at all...lots of hard burnt pieces of penne. The baguette was a burnt baked bread.. In short... I was always full of praise, but if they continue like this (see other reviews) Capri will soon end.

1 star as this is the lowest possible. Reserved at 7pm. After waiting more than an hour and fifteen minutes (!!) for our order (after 17 minutes after we could order), the food was still not ready! We left with our 3 small kids just before 9 p.m. without food! After us another couple walked away who also didn't want to wait any longer. I will never come here again!!! Then we ordered online from Dominos and they were already at our door with the pizza when we arrived home (after just over 10 minutes!). Thank you for the good service Dominos!

NOT RECOMMENDED Had to wait more than an hour for our food. The chef saw us looking and indicated that the pizzas were almost ready, fifteen minutes later he started making our pizzas. I would rather not give any stars. Made reservations for dinner tonight. Apparently there were problems with the heating, it was uncomfortably chilly. Taking order took a very long time. After 1.5 hours of waiting, still no pizza. Contacted management about this, no apologies. Nothing. We decided to leave. This didn't seem to interest the staff. I understand that there are evenings when things don't go so well, but you can at least apologize for this. Although we used to come here often, this was certainly the last time. It's a shame that this business has deteriorated so much.

Ordered 2 starters on Valentine's Day, waited 1 hour and still received nothing. A glass of wine. We were completely done with it and wanted to pay. My favorite Italian in the past. Not anymore. Ordered food, 1 pizza calzone and 1 combination. Waiting time half an hour. No problem. Upon arrival, the pizza appears to be blackened. This is being recreated. Another half hour wait, standing all that time. Got a glass of coke. At home we find a blackened lasagna with an undefined substance next to it. Anything but attractive and mediocre in taste. In addition, an oddly shaped pizza that was reasonable in taste. Total amount 23 euros. I cook better, faster and cheaper. Sorry. This was really the last time for us. We will go to another pizzeria in the future. Ps. I have deleted the posted photos again due to second-hand embarrassment. I can't watch it myself. I really hope we are the only ones who have ever received the food like this...

I had dinner here with a friend, it took a long time before we got the menu so we took it ourselves. We both ordered ice tea and we got it in a glass and not just an ice tea bottle (so probably just poured from a large bottle). We were almost the only table but the ladies paid no attention to us at all. My friend ordered a soup and received a fork, later asked for a spoon and only received the spoon when she had almost finished the soup. The ladies are not suitable for the catering industry. Pastas were not bad but certainly not good. The worst part was that we were seriously ripped off and paid too much, we went back and were not properly apologized for. All in all, for a nice evening this is not the place to go.

Saturday evening. Reserved for 8 people. When we entered there was actually no room. We were told no meat, no lasagna, no air conditioning, no ice cream and no limoncello. Terrible decline. It was said that the owner Martino no longer felt like it after corona. According to others, not for a long time. Definitely the last time for us. A shame because it is a very nice restaurant in a nice location.

Delicious meal, with one comment: there was a screw/bolt in my calzone. Something like that can happen once and I don't want to make a big deal out of it. I have known them for more than 30 years and every now and then there is a “glitch”. But now it is wrong. WELL WRONG!! Last night we ran away, after an hour and a half of waiting, many excuses, and a bad atmosphere, we couldn't handle it anymore! We didn't see a pizza.
