This was my second plant based place in The Hague that I have visited. A bit harder to find since the plant based thing isn't mentioned directly in the cafe description. It becomes clear looking at the menu online. I probably would have visited this place sooner if I had knew about it. First of all the front of the cafe is impressive, I really love the look. Secondly the staff was super friendly with genuinely happy faces - mood lifting! The service was quick and easy. Several languages spoken, people with different backgrounds connected trough plant based lifestyle. Lively good vibes! I have had avocado sandwiches in a lot of places and this one had the most avocado slices and perhaps the most creative spices that still worked. I could smell and taste anis in the bunch (correct me if I am wrong). Never had that before in an avocado sandwich, it really works! Because the bread didn't have a spread the avocado slices might slip out from the bread easily if not careful, although taste wise everything worked perfectly. A bit of smashed avocado as 'glue' could work as a solution that wouldn't compromise the already perfect taste palette. Or just don't be as clumsy eater as me, lol. The light brown bread was a great bread choice. I first forgot to ask about the milk (my bad), luckily it turned out to be oat milk (as I suspected). I had to go ask because of my soy allergy. I couldn't find a mention on the menu about the milk although it is naturally plant based in a 100% plant based cafe. It wouldn't hurt to mention the milk on the menu (even if it's usually assumed to be oat milk). Overall I'm very happy with the experience. Sometimes less is more - elegant simplicity. The shopping street has a lot of different cultural elements, many languages spoken and a lot to offer. There's a "we do things a bit different here" vibe on the whole street. Very welcoming to expats (like me). It's a nice experience for anyone who likes to be surprised & get inspired and Plenty is the heart of Piet Heinstraat ❤️

Nice vegan place and nice staff, but putting down that 1.5 slice of avocado toast so that it looks like two is the poorest thing I've seen in a long time.

Quite busy on Saturday mornings - understandable, but the people who work here remain friendly and professional. Hard workers. And... the best mocha latte I've ever had. Not even close. Small personal point that I really like is that good and respectful care is taken to ensure that 'it keeps flowing', which increases the chance of a place on the busy Saturday. So compliments.

It was supposed to be cool, but when you have to wait 30 minutes just for a slice of bread with avocado on top and a bowl of soup which eventually came … but cold, well you do not feel so cool and well at all! We hoped the desert could save it all… but the brownie is hard like a stone and impossible to eat, the best for the end 30€ for this, I will never come back and don’t understand the good comments!

Do not come here if you have a nut or sesame allergy. I explicitly asked if the pumpkin sandwich could be done without nuts and sesame, that was possible. Still had a mega allergy attack after lunch. Bad service

What should have been a nice appointment in a nice tent started with a false start this afternoon. We were “helped” by a passive aggressive lady. When we had just gotten our drinks, she came back to say they were about to close. I said that I thought it was strange and that I would have preferred it if she had said that earlier. Because we just came to have a drink and catch up, which there was hardly any opportunity for now. What we saw was almost bizarre. A combination of someone who acts overly friendly, but doesn't quite stick out a middle finger to you. We left and paid for the “homemade ginger lemonade” but left it alone. That just came from a bottle of ginger ale. We got a loud "have a nice day" shout after us. TIP: Keep walking, there are plenty of nice places in the same street.

The food was amazing, especially the lentil soup! Atmosphere was great too as well as the people working there. Definitely recommend coming here, will not be the last time for me.

The place is very cozy and offers a wide variety of vegan options. The stuff was attentive. We came on Sunday past lunch time and a lot of menu options were sold out, means that they are quite busy and popular. I went for Shakshouka it was rich in spices and flavorful. It was served with bread. I would definitely recommend a place for vegan enthusiasts and just people that are trying to switch for a more environmentally friendly options during their brunches.

I recently dined at Plenty in The Hague, and it was a delightful experience. Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted and promptly seated at a cozy table for one, which set the tone for a relaxing meal. The atmosphere at Plenty is incredibly inviting, with a zen vibe complemented by nice plants that add a touch of nature to the space. It’s the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a leisurely dining experience. I decided to have something light - so I opted for the soup, and it was nothing short of amazing. It captured all the delicious tastes of fall, making each spoonful a comforting delight. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The ginger tea infusion and cappuccino were also perfect. I will be back.

The soup from the day is so good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Everytime I go to this place, there is a good energy in the ambience. I can't recommend this place enough if you want a homemade lunch with fresh ingredients.

Hemos sido clientes habituales de Plenty. Nos encantó todo el entorno, servicio , menú en abundancia. Se ha convertido en un lugar donde vamos a celebrar momentos y a pasar tiempo a solas. El personal es muy amable. Las opciones de menú son geniales y hay variaciones. Repetir el mismo plato nunca nos ha aburrido en Plenty. Croissant de almendras es mi favorito. Mucha suerte a todo el equipo y váyanse.

Not sure what the fuss is about. We visited due to the reviews, but the experience is very different. Yes it looks fashionable and ‘cool’, the almond croissant is VERY good, but €14 for the pancakes is daylight robbery. Toppings were few, and there was hardly any maple syrup. We asked for more, they kindly gave us a small pot extra... until the bill arrived and they’d charged us €2 despite me claiming the original portion was clearly insufficient. The pancakes took over 30 mins and it was generally just very disappointing. The Hague needs more vegan options, as Plenty it’s taking advantage of its position with a poor offering.

Service was very slow, and after waiting for sandwich I ordered for a long time, I had to cancel my order. Ended up having just almost croissant, which was very good, with mocha and then hot chocolate, which were average at best. Service needs to be improved, as well as the quality of the drinks.

Had a delicious vegan breakfast. We also went in the spring because our hotel had no vegan options then. I liked it then too, so you just come back. Informal atmosphere, nice staff. Nice and small and quiet. Recommended.

A lovely place to have a nice breakfast. Once inside we were spoiled with a delicious homemade ice tea, which brought my girlfriend back to childhood. An explosion of flavors. We were a bit hungry so we ordered the pancakes which were delicious. Especially the edges, deliciously crispy and prepared with passion. We left very satisfied!

The golden chocolate latte is amazing. Aubergine toast was also quite yummy. Interesting spices and very fresh food overall

I"ve been coming to this place for some time and it's always been a delight. However, the recent policy change, implying that it is not allowed to order the smaller portion of soup, even though it's on the menu, is just ridiculous. "The kids menu is just for the kids" is just ridiculous and not client friendly at all. I'm sorry, but this is just a downer. The strangest part of this experience was that I was there with my three year old son for whom the order of the small soup just as well could have been for.

Although the plant-based concept is great, as well as the dishes, the attention leaves a lot to be desired. I understand it's busy, but it took a long time for the food to get to the table. So much so that one of my friends had to order takeout because she had to go to work. I hope it can be improved because the coffee is nice and the prices are good.

An absolute recommendation for a delicious breakfast. The food was very nicely prepared and we received a friendly welcome. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area again.

This is a lovely vegan café. I got the “Sandwich Avocado” with tempeh on the side, the green vanilla smoothie, and lemonade. Everything was excellent, and the service was very fast. Seemed like a pretty family-friendly place to bring kids, too.

Customer unfriendly! Selected Plenty for my vegetarian friend's birthday. What a disappointment! Initially nice, hip and friendly waitress. After more than 30 minutes we asked where our food was, and it was quickly brought. Unfortunately, my friend's bread dish turned out to have a dressing with coriander in it, which was not mentioned on the menu. My girlfriend is one of those people who finds coriander very disgusting (for some people in our world, coriander tastes like soap), so she asked if the sandwich could still be saved. The friendly waitress came back to say that they could make a new sandwich without coriander dressing and that we could order it at a discount, but ALSO had to pay for the first sandwich. How incredibly customer unfriendly! Ultimately the sandwich was sent back and my girlfriend only had a cup of tea. It really made us speechless. Due to the commotion, I didn't even notice that half of the ingredients were missing from my salad (no beetroot dip, no avocado and no pistachio nut to be found, just some herb rice with lettuce and one strip of roasted pumpkin for € 16). At checkout, the owner wanted me to pay the full amount because she 'didn't feel good about it' NOT to let us pay for the bread we didn't eat. According to her, we should have indicated in advance that my girlfriend does not like coriander, because they cannot put all the ingredients on the menu. It was our responsibility. Ended up paying half of the sandwich to get rid of it. I've never experienced anything like this! We will never come back here again. And no, I didn't miss any ingredients, it just wasn't there. It could happen and it would probably have been resolved if I had really realized it at the time. We were stunned, not angry.

I don't often write a review, but I really ate with taste, I am vegan myself and I think taste and enjoyment of food are very important, so it is worth the 43 euros. Compared to other restaurants that often keep the same price but don't taste any quality at all, I can assure you of this, come to plenty because there you really taste quality and taste. 😍

We went here for a Saturday brunch, and had a lovely experience. Really nice indoor and outdoor seating, with a great menu. The pastries were delicious, as were the pancakes and avocado toast. I went with three non-vegans, and they really enjoyed the food. My only word of caution is that they don't allow laptops, so if you're looking for a cafe to work from, this isn't the one!

My favorite place in Den Haag - the food is always tasty, and you're lucky if they still have the cinnamon rolls (they're simply delightful). People who work there are always very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere cosy, only good things to say!

Very nicely decorated café, but we sat there for almost 20 minutes without even being served by the service staff and then we waited for over an hour for two simple porridges... unfortunately there was no apology from the waitress.

They don't cater for allergies and the waiting time is really outrageously long (45 minutes for cereal???). All To Go customers who ordered after us were served before us. The drinks are small and expensive. At least these taste good.

The place is cozy and the menu, despite not having many dishes, is very good and you have fun choosing because the combinations they have are what you crave. We were definitely hungry on King's Day in The Hague, and the food took a while to arrive, but we loved the flavor, quantities, and presentation of the dishes. Very delicious 🔝and the people who serve you are very kind.

The two vegan salads are delicious! The rice with fresh dill and pistachio was refreshing. The pearl couscous was a lovely surprise, first time trying it. And don't forget to treat yourself with some cake!

We had been looking forward to our lunch at Plenty because we had been here several times before and it had never worked out. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The price-performance ratio is simply not right. Small portions, even with the lemonades (!), wilted salad in the bowl ... Avocado bread is just avocado bread without anything to light up the plate.... was a shame, we had expected more!

Plenty of what???? Definitely not the food, the salad was overpriced. Hardly any taste or veggies or content. And very small portions. The glass of lemonade was also overpriced. Half-full with lots of icecubes to compensate…The soup was not warm. All in all a disappointing experience, we liked it before but will not come back!!!!!

Super great café that focuses on plant based. The food and drinks are freshly prepared and you can see the passion behind it. The interior invites Dutch to stay longer in the cozy atmosphere.

The place is really pretty, the decorations are cute and the coffee ist outstanding! I had the “mocha latte”, “matcha latte” and an almond croissant and it all tasted so good! The staff is very friendly and overall I felt very comfortable here! 10/10 would recommend

The customer service is great! Friendly, chatty staff who made the place feel welcoming. The food wasn't good, very meh! I ordered the sticky cinnamon roll, it wasn't "sticky" and it definitely tasted dry. The rooibos tea was ok, large and warm. The Tempeh Sandwich was bland, the fermented veggies were mildly pickled, maybe it's designed for people who don't like strong flavours but want the presentation. Not a place I would recommend for food, however, the coffee and teas were done well.

Mooie zaak, leuke groene sfeer die past bij het concept. Wij hebben een koffie gedronken en wat uitgekozen in de taart vitrine. Prijs-kwaliteit is het relatief aan de hoge kant, maar misschien is dat omdat alles vegan is. Daar ben ik niet zo bekend mee.

Plenty ist ein Muss für alle, die sich pflanzenbasiert ernähren oder denen das einfach nur gut schmeckt. Wir hatten zum Frühstück ein belegtes Avocadobrot (die Gewürzmischung oben drauf war der Hammer), Joghurt mit Früchten und ein Croissant mit Butter und Marmelade (Vegan versteht sich). Alles super lecker. Der Kaffee ist aus der Rösterei Ief & Ido und gleich nach dem Frühstück haben wir uns dort eine Packung für zu Hause gekauft. Sehr empfehlenswert!!! 🩷

Delicious food! Full of flavours and colours! The personnel are really friendly and do their best to make you feel comfortable. Although it is not a big place, the ambience is charming and relaxing. On the weekends it is always full so make sure to book or get there in advance!

Nice cafe and lunchroom with very tasty vegan options! Try the summer pancakes with mango and red fruits with a very tasty syrup and the avocado toast with dukkah and homemade pesto as well! Also the smoothie with red berries and banana was very tasty! A bit more expensive than I expected though.

Leckeres Mandelcroissant, vegan. Dort ist alles vegan, schmeckte echt hervorragend, auch der Cappuccino. Das Personal jung und lieb, eher alternativ, was ganz mein Style ist <3. Würd da immer wieder hin.

Heerlijk eten, fijne sfeer en een lekkere bak koffie waar je altijd iets lekkers bij krijgt. De vorige keer was het cake'je bij de koffie zo lekker dat ik er een hele bij kocht. Een vegan peanut butter blondie volgens mij. Yummm!

Super lecker, sehr schön eingerichtet und für jede Gelegenheit perfekt. Ich war zum Frühstück da und hab die Zeit sehr genossen. Kein WiFi, aber sonst perfekt ☺️
