Don't do this in a large group because you'll keep walking up and down. The price-quality ratio is a bit off. Going to the toilet was an experience in itself. Extremely slippery floor. Service staff leaves much to be desired.

Super cute and well-kept place. I found it by chance while walking around. It was a truly pleasant discovery. We had apple pie, chocolate cake, and two cappuccinos. Absolutely fantastic! When I return to Amsterdam, it will definitely be a regular stop.

We tried the tiramisu latte and their seasonal cookie dough latte and they were delicious!

Food is good, however, not a good service, they are not friendly at all. If they play music the atmosphere will be better

Two weeks later, I had to come back and review what is, our family agreed, the worst sandwich I have ever been served at a restaurant. Truly embarrassing, I wish I had checked the reviews before wasting my money on four slices of bread with what amounted to a single slice of bacon and half a leaf of lettuce and some kjnd of green spread that didn’t come close to covering all of that bread. I try not to leave negative reviews, but this place didn’t even come close to trying.

What a lovely place for a delicious brunch! The service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and everything was served quickly, even though it was quite busy. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious: fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into every dish. Definitely a place we would recommend, and we’ll absolutely be coming back again! 😊

The café is located in a lovely neighborhood and has a good location. It's self-service, but you have to wait right at the counter, which seemed a bit chaotically organized. Unfortunately, the cinnamon roll was rather dry and didn't impress me. Overall, the visit was okay, but in my opinion, there's room for improvement.

I tried the apple cake; the taste was average. I expect there are better options elsewhere. The iced black coffee was just okay. The cashier was rude to everyone.

I stayed 1 hour and half and the workers started to look at me and one asked me to leave because I stayed more than they wanted ! It was also many places not full ! Very bad service and there is no law that says that and many others also were here ! I can't recommend this place at all

Food is very good - no complaints about that at all, it came promptly after ordering and it tasted lovely. This place is very expensive and honestly you could find a better place to eat for cheaper. Some of the staff could really do with some more training in customer service. They are incredibly rude and unwelcoming and really ruined what could’ve been a nice experience. It really isn’t a good look to avoid serving customers waiting and then complain about having to make someone’s drink order in-front of them TWICE🥴!

Worst service ever experienced!!! Ordered two coffees and a yogurt bowl. Waited 45 minutes for food that never came. Inquired with staff, told us they were out but never communicated it. Staff then proceed to speak in Dutch together and then walked away without a solution. We got frustrated and left. STAY AWAY!!!

The café was incredibly busy, but Vainely still had a smile on her face and made sure my iced matcha and espresso were just right. It’s the little things that make a difference, and her kindness and care really stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her. Extremely delicious, no matter what you're eating.

My experience at this restaurant was terrible due to the staff's poor treatment. Some were very polite, but four girls behaved in a racist and offensive manner towards tourists. This goes against the Dutch government's policies, which welcome everyone and portray the Netherlands as a land of peace and love for all. We know the Dutch people are friendly, especially those from the Middle East. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant, and I will not recommend it to Middle Eastern tourists until some of the staff are replaced. They are rude to customers, raise their voices, and behave disrespectfully. I hope the owner reviews the CCTV footage to see the rudeness, raised voices, and obscene gestures directed at tourists. I wish they would receive training at other restaurants like Chun, Interior, The Cutest, Re7, and the upscale and busy Locals. We commend all of these restaurants, except for this one, which is racist and uses offensive language.

This is my third time at this café, and I stop by every time I'm in Amsterdam. The food is good and the space is pleasant, with a nice atmosphere. However, the service could be improved. On each visit, the waitresses seemed overwhelmed and the welcome was rather cold. It's a shame, because it doesn't reflect the quality of the place and the food. I hope this aspect will be improved on my next visit.

The cashier is VERY unpleasant. The portions are disproportionate (a lot of tuna with very little avocado, for example). The same goes for the coffees; it seems like they just threw the ingredients in randomly without measuring. There isn't enough space to sit comfortably. I don't recommend it.

Had to wait 45 mins for a breakfast, then turned out the order was given to one other table. The staff did not even say sorry. Left the place without a refund because every interaction with the staff is absolutely painful.

Very customer-unfriendly experience Upon entering, we were immediately approached in an unfriendly manner by a young lady who said there was no room. A little later, when we wanted to order, we were suddenly told that there *was* room upstairs, but that we had to wait. We did this politely and respectfully by staying in line. When we finally wanted to go upstairs, people who had entered after us simply sat down in the empty seats. When we brought this up with the staff and asked if they could point out to these people that there was a queue, we were completely ignored. The staff just carried on as if we didn't matter. As if that wasn't enough, we were sent to another branch for a hot chocolate. After walking all the way there, we were told that they didn't have hot chocolate there. So we were sent that way for nothing. We felt completely unheard and disrespected. I absolutely do not recommend this eatery.

I was very curious about Pluk after having seen quite a bit on social media. The interior is super cozy. However, we didn't find the service very friendly. The girl behind the counter on Saturday addressed my mother-in-law, who wanted to go upstairs, quite sternly with "Wait here!". It could be a language thing, of course, but it wasn't very polite. We also didn't find her very friendly when taking our order. We often visit different establishments, but her behavior really stood out to us negatively. We are not used to this in the hospitality industry. It really is a nice spot to sit; we thought the drinks were okay.

Great pictures, but a shameful experience. A bit chaotic atmosphere. My boyfriend got his pink bowl 10 minutes before I got my eggs and bread. The pink bowl wasn't even fresh, but had been in the fridge for some time beforehand. The eggs and bread were delicious though, which raises the rating a bit.

These overhyped TikTok brunch concepts are unbearable. You wait 30 minutes to be seated at a tiny table, you have to go get your order (lol, do you want us to do the dishes too??), the toilet doors don't close, you have to pay before you eat (how embarrassing!), they don't even turn on the lights in the room, it feels like we're in a stinky cave, and it's expensive. I edited my post, we just got served lol, they practically threw our plates in our faces!

Location is great. We got the window stools spot with an amazing view of street flow. The food is good and most dishes arrive quite fast, except for the pancakes which took a VERY long time to show up. Menu option are local and good. The tables and counters could use some better clean up routine, especially during busy hours.

Worst possible service. I saw my pancakes come out and sit on the counter for 20 mins before she started working on it. It was cold and depressing. Used the same gloves to work on the screens and working with the trash and touching / plating my food. Absolute garbage of a place!!!

There was two of them and non of them even bothered to say hello for 5 minutes that I was standing. One of them wasn’t working was just standing behind the till and didn’t even look at me. The atmosphere is good.

Waited a long time for a table; the seating arrangement for guests was chaotic and out of order. Finally arrived at a table upstairs, but it was a bare, uninviting place. The order had to be placed downstairs; it was self-service. Downstairs, when ordering, there was another long wait for staff standing around chatting extensively. That's where my irritation mounted, and I left without ordering anything. Poorly performing staff, and uninviting decor and atmosphere. I will never come back. If you want something cozy and good food, by all means keep walking; there are plenty of nice lunch spots to be found in Amsterdam where you will be warmly welcomed and can sit comfortably!!!

I ordered something from PLUK last week. Something went wrong with the order. It turned out the food could not be made gluten-free. The amount was supposed to be refunded to us by bank transfer. After leaving our details, contrary to the agreement, the amount was never transferred. I have tried calling and emailing, but PLUK cannot be reached by either phone or email. It is really a shame that things are going this way.

Appalling service, worse than McDonald's. You have to order and pay at the register to eat in, which leads to total disorganization and an endless wait. For the price of the food, it's a disgrace! You even have to set your own table! If you want to ruin your Sunday morning, go for it!

The service was deplorable, practically nonexistent. We were seated upstairs and then waited for ages while our order was taken before we realized we had to order downstairs at the counter. Once we'd ordered, we waited another 30 minutes for our food to be ready, but the service wasn't direct to the table; we had to go back downstairs each time to get our drinks or food. Some customers were served at their tables, though—you had to be lucky. We also had to set the table ourselves. The disastrous organization wasted a lot of our time and money.

First of all, thanks for the dental appointment because that’s exactly what you’ll need after trying to eat their rock-hard bread. Seriously, if you’re thinking of coming here with your elderly parents, don’t. You might leave with fewer teeth than you came with. Let’s talk about the food: - The coffee? Only drinkable because of the sugar. And €7.50 for an iced Americano? That’s just ridiculous. - €15 for bread that feels like it was baked last week and left out to fossilize. This place clearly cares more about pushing out quantity than serving actual quality. It honestly feels like a fast-food chain but somehow worse. Even McDonald’s buns are softer and better than whatever they’re serving here. If you’re a tourist or just following some TikTok hype… save yourself the disappointment. This place is NOT it.

I had a tuna melt bagel and a peach iced tea which were both very tasty. Atmosphere okay, quite cosy upstairs with tables quite close together. Service felt lukewarm, which may be a cultural thing. The cakes looked nice but I didnt try one.

I wish I could give a negative score for the service. As a person who has travelled across the world, this place has the worst service ever. I waited 45 mins for an avocado toast. The staff were extremely rude. We were waiting to be seated, but they completely ignored us and stood around laughing together instead. The service was extremely poor, I even had to go to the bar myself to get my coffee, while the waitresses only brought the food. Their attitude was very unpleasant and came across as arrogant. The food was okay, but definitely overpriced, and the drinks were as well.

The downstairs bar looks nice. But upstairs and near the restrooms are really dirty, with lots of old cobwebs. And except for the bar, everything is messy. The iced latte tastes like water, and the chai latte tastes like just milk.

Expensive and coffee is not good quality

There are only a few seats inside, and they are very cramped. The restroom wasn’t very clean. The food is quite tasty, but honestly, it’s really expensive for the price. We also had to wait a long time about half an hour for our meal. On the positive side, the staff was actually very friendly.

It's quite small and doesn't have a lot of seating, so you might have to wait a while for a table. You order at the counter, and the food is then brought to your table. This is self-service, to manage expectations beforehand. I had breakfast here last Monday and had poached eggs on a bagel with avocado and hollandaise sauce. It was so good! I'll be back! I read somewhere in a review that "ham" isn't on the menu, but that's not true. It's clearly stated, and if you don't want it, you just ask and they'll leave it off. The matchas and pecan milkshakes are also delicious! I had to work on my laptop after breakfast, and that went fine. The staff were friendly and occasionally asked if I was okay. What I didn't like: the manager started yelling at the staff because customers weren't addressed in a timely manner and then left the restaurant, and generally yelling when your order is ready...

The staff weren't very friendly (at least not for tourists). The food was good, but not the best restaurant. They were often out of stock (orange juice, chocolate chip cookie dough, etc.). It was okay once, but I'm not sure it's on the list of must-try restaurants as described on many social media platforms.

Bad experience. We waited 25 minutes because of a mistake with our order. The drinks person took their sweet time redoing it, prioritizing other orders over mine. The person taking our order was also very unpleasant. I do not recommend this brunch; it's far too touristy. Go to Bakers and Roasters instead—they're much nicer and the food is much better!

Don't be fooled! This is definitely not the other PLUK you see all over social media. This one is frankly awful: everything is "healthy," but completely tasteless. Bland, unappetizing dishes that definitely don't deserve all the hype. A huge disappointment.

We came for the famous TikTok coffees and were very disappointed to find they weren't at all like the pictures on the menu. Don't get confused, the other café with the nice coffees is just a few meters away, but this isn't mentioned anywhere… Furthermore, we had to clear the table ourselves, including the dishes and food left by previous customers, before we could order. Orders aren't served at the table. But the drinks were very good.

Horrible place. They had us waiting for like an hour JUST TO SEAT US. Then we finally got a table and we had to go downstairs again to order food and drinks and that was another hour. Then we saw girls on their fun and NOT WASHING THEIR HANDS AFTER, I literally saw a girl take out trash and handle food after. It was a nightmare and not worth it.

The coffee was very good, the lemonade was weak, and the food wasn't even worth commenting on. The French toast with mascarpone was served cold. The acai bowl was okay, but for the price, I expected something better. The waitress was always on the run. She served dirty napkins, and the cutlery was sloppy and unpolished. In short, I wouldn't recommend it.

The place is certainly very pretty, but that's where the positives end. The saleswomen/baristas are very unfriendly and pretend not to understand when I speak English (I didn't have any communication problems during my entire stay in Amsterdam). Of the juices on the menu, only one was available; I wanted to order it, but they "forgot" to add it to my order. Of all the plant-based drinks on the menu, only one was actually available. I got the impression they were waiting for me to finish my drink quickly. And yet, I had arrived early enough in the morning... It's a shame, because the reviews about the coffee were actually quite positive.

Extremely unfriendly staff. There was room upstairs, and we were told we could check the other location for availability while we waited in line for an hour. Furthermore, our sandwiches had ham on them, which we weren't aware of, so we asked for a different alternative or to have the ham removed, but they refused. I won't be going back. Terribly poor service and a very unhygienic place.

We were turned away 20 minutes before closing time, even though the queue outside the store was practically nonexistent. We had already waited for 10 minutes. Despite this, they wanted to close early and send their customers home dissatisfied.

We were in need of a coffee and some sugar, so we ordered a flat white and a lemonade together with a “tiramisu” cookie. The beverages were spot on, and the cookie was delicious - crumbly and chewy (although didn’t make me think of tiramisu, more a Christmas spice cookie with some mascarpone). Plenty of people around seemed to be enjoying their late breakfast/early brunch and the place was packed.

Found this place because of the hype, but this place offers NO service. You're treated like crap. Such a shame when you get a 7 euro drink. NOT RECOMMENDED. The drinks are good, but there are so many nicer places. The staff is far too busy with themselves and ignores you or gives you nasty looks.

Not impressed with the service here. My cappuccino was a late. When I said something they had a real attitude and were unfriendly. They made me a new one and it was exactly the same. It would be good if they can train their staff to make better coffee and be a bit more friendly. Cake was good.

I came yesterday around 5 pm for a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a lemon cake. I would have been better off going elsewhere. While the place may look inviting, the staff is incredibly unpleasant. The whipped cream in my hot chocolate was completely spoiled, and I paid the price for it last night. It's outrageous. The cake was good but very dry. Avoid this place! Don't be fooled by the window display.

I stumbled upon this lovely spot not far from the city center via TikTok. My first experience here. I don't know who owns it, but the service doesn't even deserve a single star. You're never greeted, they just stand around chatting, and one even managed to stand by the window talking on their phone. I effortlessly managed to catch all three ladies on their phones?! The staff coming and going is also such a strange sight. The food and drinks were delicious, and I would happily return, but I hope the service has improved since then, and I would hire new staff. Otherwise, the concept and the food are great!😄

Lovely place for brunch or breakfast. Portions are quite big and you get full easily! It’s always super busy and a bit loud and there is almost always a line to be seated. Nice people work here but obviously it’s under-stuffed as girls who accepts orders also need to make drinks at the same time. Imo it’s still a nice place to visit even tho it’s a bit overpriced :)

They're all so cute, the pastries are delicious, and the person is sweet, but they really can't make drinks. The pumpkin spice latte is the worst I've ever had. And the most expensive Evet in Amsterdam, €8, is really not OK! Also, because it wasn't tasty!
