Poffertjes van Oma in Wijk 01 Stadskern

The poffertjes were incredibly delicious 😍. We ate them, traditionally (according to the staff), with butter and powdered sugar. AMAZING 😁 We sat outside 🌞, and as soon as guests got up, the table was immediately cleaned. You order at the front and then go to your seat and get served.

I first ate Grandma's poffertjes at a festival in Hardeweijk in 2023. When we were vacationing in Voorthuizen and I saw there was a shop in Amersfoort, it was clear we had to go 😁🤤🤤🤤 and it was worth it! The poffertjes are incredibly delicious. The staff are all friendly. There are also some outdoor seating areas if you want to eat in.

Everything is good about grandma's poffertjes. Delicious juicy poffertjes, the best I have ever eaten. Incredibly good quality product. The ladies and gentlemen of the service are always friendly and bring the poffertjes to your table if they are not ready immediately. The tables are kept neat and clean. The price is also reasonable, especially considering the excellent quality! Poffertjes van Oma is always on my route when I visit Amersfoort.

I love the Poffertjes here. I was there twice last year and was really looking forward to getting Poffertjes van Oma again this year!

The poffertjes themselves were very tasty, but there was just way too much Nutella on the poffertjes, so they were unfortunately inedible. Unfortunately, the tables/chairs were all very dirty. The service wasn't really friendly.

The best poffertjes I had so far in Netherlands. I always take them with icing sugar and butter and omg, they are so delicious for a sweet snack. You can have a small or big portion. During the summer time, whenever I was in the city center I would treat myself with a small portion to have it on go. Totally recommend!

Service and flavour are great, however, the poffertjes always arrive speckled with burnt butter. Such a put off.

Every time we visit Amersfoort we stop by here. My husband is hooked on the poffertjes! I also gladly end up eating them. I would recommend you stop by and try them out!

Today I ate poffertjes for the second time at Poffertjes van Oma in Amersfoort. Last time I really enjoyed how delicious and juicy and full they were. Today October 6, 2024 another lady is baking and it doesn't look like anything, they are half small, elastic, a bit more salty, not sweet. So it depends on who bakes these, in any case the lady who made them on October 6, 2024 had better go do another job in the kitchen. She doesn't do anything!!

Poffertjes Van Oma is an absolute gem! We enjoyed a delightful afternoon on their cozy outdoor patio, savoring their delicious poffertjes, perfectly fluffy and served with butter and icing sugar. The only thing I knew about these authentic poffertjes is the fairground appearance that the stalls from my youth had. Delicious poffertjes, which really taste like the past, nice toppings and attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Small pancake shop. You cannot sit inside, only outside. Poffertjes were not very special but good. Too little butter was given with the poffertjes. Furthermore, the poffertjes are reasonably priced.

The poffertjes are as dry as my grandmother's. They are baked and then kept warm before being sold. The little bit of butter does not cover the dry load. Experience of Friday July 5 in Amersfoort. Never again.

We stopped here first, after arriving in Amersfoort - paid €3.50 for a size small poffertijes. It’s very cool that you can watch them being made fresh; some skill involved! Makes the whole thing a little more exciting. Very good poffertjies (not the BEST we’ve ever tasted, but still tasty), with lots of sugar! Careful: wait a small while so you don’t burn your tongue! The two ladies making and serving were both friendly and affable.

Probably the best poffertjes ever! We came across the shop by chance in January and because it was so delicious, we made a special detour on the way home and it was worth it. It tastes best with powdered sugar and butter. The little delicacies are freshly baked in a large cast iron plate. We will definitely come back 🤗

Poffertjes from Grandma Amersfoort? Awesome! Went there recently on a sunny day. Perfect setting and the poffertjes were delicious. Not expensive either, only €3.5 for 8 pieces, and they were well covered with butter and icing sugar. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

If you come from anywhere besides the Netherlands you should have a quick portion of poffertjes here. They are amazing and the little square where the place is located is super cute. There really is no reason to pass this up as it is yummy and cheap.

Tried out this poffertjes place in Amersfoort. They actually have a cafe but i opted for the poffertjes vendor at the square. They freshly cook the poffertjes for every order ensuring that hot fragrant and soft poffertjes. It has a generous topping of powdered sugar and butter. Perfect for an afternoon snack while enjoying the town.

Heel lekkere poffertjes, gezellig terras op een mooie plek. Geweldige service. Ik was mijn autosleutel kwijtgeraakt op het terras en merkte dat pas uren later, toen de zaak al dicht was. De eigenaar kwam speciaal terug om me de sleutel te geven, die hij had gevonden en wilde daar niet eens een beloning voor accepteren. Heel erg aardig.

Schön an einem Platz unter Bäumen gelegener, biergartenähnlicher Außenbereich. Man geht zum Tresen, bestellt und bezahlt und wenige Minuten später serviert eine sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterin Kaffee und Poffertjes. Günstige Preise, gute Qualität!
