The food was tasty, the fries were good. When we first served it, there was still a lot of room for improvement. The second one was again very friendly. The food was as befits a chip shop ☺️ The dip was a bit small at the beginning. Upon request there was some extra dipping sauce.

Bad service, are after money and want you to order certain dishes and constantly push for that. Bread is the supermarket's own brand. Let's not talk about how the staff gossips about the customers on the terrace. We are not deaf. (:

Cozy shop, we had take away. There wasn't much going on outside so we were allowed to sit down for a moment with our take away. The owner is very friendly and gave us nice advice. The fries with cheese sauce and bacon came straight from heaven. A stop here is a must.

From the reviews a have read I expected for more. The quality of the Frietjes wasn’t great but the most disappointing thing was a really silly one!! They have only small bottles of water and we were with 3 kids so after ordering one bottle and another bottle and other drinks I asked for tap water and they were so stubborn not to give it and has been even rude. So I bought another small bottle and then immediately left the place. It’s really ashamed!

We stopped here while visiting the Christmas market. There are many interesting dishes with fries and typical classics. The sour meat was very tasty and the burger was really good too. We weren't here for the last time

Delicious food birthday dad/grandpa with a large group. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The birthday boy above all...he got a nice piece of pie with fireworks...really GREAT!!

We had a delicious meal there! 3 courses everything was perfect! Toppings were really tasty, soup fresh and the pastries were also too tasty! The owner was very friendly and pleasant. We will definitely come back here!

We had to wait a very long time for our food even though it wasn't full. The food was so mediocre. Prices were ok for that.

Great place for a quick bite of fries. Belgians do better than NLers, but I can recommend it here!

I had the garlic fries with parmesan cheese and truffle mayonnaise and they were really good. It was quiet because of the rain, so we chatted about Disney World with the owner, who is also a wonderful person. Top restaurant!

Delicious fries with special toppings. Very successful, although we think there was too little sauce, so we had to ask for a (again too small) jar of extra sauce twice. Cordial and fast service.

This used to be a great place. But unfortunately after the takeover it is terrible. Limp lukewarm fries, rancid sour meat. Really very sad...

We stood in line outside but some grimly woman said we need to leave because there are too many people. Behind us no one got turned away.

I had a very nice meal at Pommes years ago. But now I hadn't been there for a long time and had bragged to my wife about how good it was there. But I don't know what happened there in the meantime. It was really terrible. Cracked tables and the food was really not good. The fries were piping hot But raw and undercooked. The souvlaki was mediocre and not enough. And with my wife it was sour meat.....without meat. Really a shame, but never again.

Fries were half-baked, way too soggy and a delivery time of no less than 2 hours... not recommended!

The owner was very wholesome and sincere. The food is also pretty reasonable compared to near by restaurants. I am surprised that this place is not popular.

Recently had dinner here with a delegation during a bachelor party. The owners really do their best to make their guests happy. No question is too difficult. The fries, snacks and burgers are of good quality and therefore taste more than excellent! The range of (special) beers completes the experience! In my opinion, highly recommended.

Excellent garlic fries, friendly owner and good pulled pork topping! Different from the predecessor but still good.

The fries were really delicious, even in a bowl😃. The ambience was so-so and when I looked at the glasses, I'm glad we didn't drink anything there. They were always there, but I wasn't even sure they were there. Even if the owner answer claims otherwise.

Very tasty fries at a fair price. We particularly liked the version with peel. There is also a good selection of beers. Definitely give it a try.

Delicious fries in the city center. I ordered the fries with pulled pork, they are natural potatoes (not frozen). The service is also top notch, they also speak English and German. They do everything they can to make you happy.

Friendly people, food was fine, we found satay sauce a little less, but that's because tastes differ. Fries with sour meat were tasty (eaten for the first time) The heather was turned on even more. We also had a delicious meal. If we come to Valkenburg again, we will definitely come back again.

What was only going to be a mulled wine to go became a tasty snack. Very nice people and despite the cold and we chose to sit outside, we were politely offered a table inside. After my wife and I's choice, we received a lovely blanket, mulled wine was certainly good to drink, and the food was delicious. They cut fries fresh on the spot and the staff are friendly. They also had plenty of other nice options and prices are reasonable.

I used to absolutely love this place, and when it reopened after the new owners took over, I was very very excited. However, I was disappointed. I feel like the quality of the food has gone down. The fries are no longer the tasty ones I had come to love, the chicken turned dry and the sauces that I used to crave, are no longer the same. The food overal feels greasier as well. The prices have stayed the same as well, so for me personally food/price ratio has gone down.

With my family we walked past this catering establishment in Valkenburg. The sign outside recommends coffee to go. So I ordered cappuccino to go for my wife. After paying for the order, I asked if the toilet could be found at the back of the building, with the intention of using it. The lady with glasses (I think the owner) did not allow a visit to the toilet. I was told that this is only for customers sitting here. Already made it known on site that this is customer unfriendly. 'Yes, I was told we have to draw a line somewhere, otherwise everyone can use it' Anyone who does not honor the little ones... This business still has a way to go when it comes to customer friendliness and that starts with every customer who places an order. Tip: Distinguishing between your customers is disastrous in the long term, good luck with the business.

We wanted to grab some fries and stood in the queue that was already there. Other guests quickly appeared behind us. After a short time we were very rudely (!!) told to leave again because it was too crowded. Strange, because other guests before and after us were allowed to queue. This is not how you treat your customers. We then got something to eat somewhere else.

Delicious chicken souflakie with farmer's fries, very tasty and freshly made fries. In addition, the handmade bami disc is also highly recommended. We were seated ringside for the Christmas parade and the Gluhwein Amaretto is a delicious drink that we will definitely come back for. The service is also top notch. They do everything they can to make you happy. Keep it up!

We stood in line outside to eat a hand-held french fry. Unfortunately we were sent away very unkindly because it was too crowded. However, everyone else after us (who stood opposite us for quite a while) was allowed to order. That's not how you treat customers!!!

Homemade fries but unseasoned, tasty Bami slice, waited 1.5 hours

Homemade potatoes and juicy pulled pork. The inside of the croquettes is also very juicy and chunky. However, the exterior of the croquettes as well as the chicken strips are not homemade. Very reasonable price! 👌🏼

The fries are nice and fresh but besides that the food was disappointing. I gave it the lower rating because the quality went down a lot, but the prices did not. The chicken tenders are not home made anymore and I could taste it was mora crispy chicken, €4.50 for 4 pieces is way too overpriced for these. And the pulled pork was lacking the red onions and other ingredients it used to have and promised to have on the menu. Compared to what it used to be I feel like this became another standard frituur that seems to lack passion.

Gisteren met de hele familie gegeten super leuke eigenaren. Gezellige sfeer en heerlijk eten. Je kan proeven dat alles met liefde is bereid. Komen hier vaker terug als we in Valkenburg zijn

Echt n lekkere tussenstop in hartje valkenburg voor n culinair frietje...met diverse extra s ook zelfs met een wijntje of biertje of zelfs n gintonic....buiten overdekt en beschut heerlijk toeven met dekentjes en warmtelampen....wel beetje krappie maar heel gezellig...mogelijkheid om binnen te eten volop ...een hele bovenverdieping ter beschikking ....let.op.die is wel alleen met een trap bereikbaar....heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.personeel...snelle bediening ...aanrader voor n lekker zelf gemaakt frietje en even bij te komen tijdens het wandelen

Als ik vroeger een Zak Friet bestelde (rond Corona tijd )was de Friet zak kurk droog omdat de Friet totaal niet vet was,, en toen ik er laast was, was de friet opzich wel lekker en zeker vers maar wel vet en slap,

Nieuwe eigenaren dus De Kaart is veranderd Friet smaakt goed beste van Valkenburg maar toch was de friet hiervoor nog beter,

Beste iedereen, pommes staat ter overname via horeca huis limburg. Helaas is pommes op dit moment gesloten. De reden hiervoor weet ik niet. Wat ik wel weet is dat het (naar mijn mening) de beste friet is die ik in de omgeving heb gegeten (wel een tijdje geleden nu). Ik hoop dat er iemand is die Pommes overneemt en het een blijvende plek kan geven.

Mooie friet met een zeer smaakvolle topping. Veel aandacht aan besteed! Wij aten een patatje stoofvlees (pulled chicken), een patatje pindasaus, een kroket, bitterballen en nuggets (en een paar drankjes) Snacks waren ook echt goed. De prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is niet ideaal: prijzen zijn te hoog. Wij waren bijna 50 euro kwijt! Tip: serveer een biertje van 5,50 euro in een glas in plaats van een kartonnen bekertje.

Tijdens de amusetocht in Valkenburg hebben we verschillende amuses gehad, maar na afloop zijn we neergestreken bij pommes Valkenburg. De zoete aardappel frietjes die we daar gehad hebben waren heerlijk, snel klaar en genoeg om heerlijk van te genieten. De toppings zijn overheerlijk.

Hier gibt es leckere Pommes und Frikandelln.

Wij hebben hier Valkenburgs Stew op. Echt geweldig dit. Om je vingers erbij op te eten. Toppie.

Gewoon een simpel frituurtje ,alleen de prijzen waar je stijl van achter over slaat

Wauw wat was dit lekker zeg! Dit is friet van een kwaliteit bizar gewoon! En de kroket is ook onwijs lekker. Ik kom zeker een keer terug.

Klein, knus restaurant met erg lekkere friet en snacks. De friet zelf is al zeer goed, had zelf de garlic fries, maar de snacks en andere extra's maken het plaatje helemaal compleet. De hoeveelheden zijn goed, en de smaak echt fantastisch. Echte aanrader, kom zeker nog eens terug.
