Very tasty food. Not just any food, but truly delicious food. That lady makes everything fresh every day. I sat there and ate. Wow, wow, wow. I recommend the saoto soup and the Saturday specialty.

The food at Popi John is good and plentiful. You can order takeout or delivery, and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommended if you're looking for Surinamese food.

Good takeout spot for Surinamese food. Not really a place to eat in. I got a sauto soup and a fa chong (chicken) sandwich. Both were delicious and the portions were generous.

The bara was so greasy that the oil was leaking. Ordered chicken wonton soup, got shrimp instead. Replaced the bara with a sandwich, but it's a good thing we're not allergic to shrimp. First and last time
