Recently ordered and picked up a Kumpir online. Friendly staff. I even got a free drink. I've been eating Kumpir at this place for years, but it's a shame it's so expensive, which is why I don't go there often anymore. Definitely recommended!

The food is delicious. But one of the staff members wasn't very friendly. When I asked him for a tray, he said they don't normally provide one if you order just one serving. Strange. A tray is always a good idea, for example, to avoid spilling!

I received extremely poor service on August 20th around 7:00 PM. The employee was on a hands-free call and acted irritated when I tried to order. I was spoken to in an angry tone, and I didn't even get everything I ordered. Only the guy with the glasses was friendly. The name "King" doesn't live up to its name – King Falafel in The Hague is definitely better and cheaper.

I've eaten here several times, and every time it's delicious! The kumpir is always fresh, well-filled, and incredibly flavorful. You can really taste the care and attention they put into it. The staff is also incredibly friendly, and you feel welcome the moment you walk in. There's always a pleasant atmosphere and top-notch service. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back often.

It is simple restaurant with the tasty food. We ate 2 times there, because the food is delicious for us. The portion is not too big, enough for 1 person, also the price is fair. I like their linzen soup, erg lekker. We will come back again.... the owner and staffs are friendly, we got free baklava 😀😀, happy.....

Delicious food best kumpir ever!

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with Potaé during Ramadan. The first time I ordered for iftar, about 30 minutes before Maghrib, the food arrived on time — 5 minutes before iftar, so all was good Alhamdulillah. But a few days later, I placed another order about 45 minutes in advance, and when I checked the app closer to iftar, the delivery time kept increasing instead of decreasing. I couldn’t communicate through the app, so we called the restaurant — they said the order hadn’t even reached their system. Meanwhile, the app was showing the food “on the way,” even though it clearly wasn’t. We tried calling multiple locations with no clear answer. Time kept passing, we were at the masjid with no food to break our fast, and no one was able to help. Eventually, I asked to cancel and just place a new order — but then they told me they ran out of Ramadan boxes, which was the menu I had originally ordered, especially for iftar after a full working day of fasting. They offered something else, but said it would take a long time too. We ended up canceling everything, having to order pizzas instead and breaking our fast almost 2 hours after Maghrib, right before going to pray Taraweeh. 😔 We know Ramadan comes with challenges for everyone, and we tried to remain patient and understanding — but sadly it felt like they didn’t care at all about our situation or the fact that we were fasting. Not a nice experience at all.

Potae Kumpir – Good food in a strange place Potae Kumpir in Osdorp serves exactly what you expect: well-filled potatoes with all kinds of toppings, generous portions, and a surprisingly fresh salad. For those who love kumpir, this is certainly not a bad place. The food is tasty, ready quickly, and not expensive – and that's what it's all about here. But let's be honest: the location is a different story. Potae is located in a kind of indoor 'shopper hall', where you have a view of a cross-eyed hairdresser, a few atmospheric discount stores and a lot of emptiness. Cozy dining is not actually an option here. You come here to eat, not for the ambiance. The service is excellent, friendly and fast, but the whole thing feels a bit like fast food with an Eastern European sauce. If you want to have a quick bite to eat after shopping or between work, this is fine. For a night out? Not really. In summary: nice for lunch, good for a quick bite, but completely lacking in atmosphere.

Quite a tasty dish, as Kumpir cannot be found so often it is good that they offer this. Prepared freshly and everything tastes good, the service is fast and flexible. Pricing is slightly high, however the taste of the food is quite good. Altogether, quite happy with this experience.

My experience at KingKumpir was downright disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely unwelcome as a customer. The owner seemed annoyed and even asked me if it was the first time I had ordered kumpir. This came across as very condescending, as if I had no idea what I wanted to eat. The service was unfriendly and disinterested, and I felt like my presence was seen as a burden rather than an opportunity to make a customer happy. This was not what I expected when I decided to eat here. I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a friendly and professional experience. There are plenty of other places where you are treated with more respect and where the staff understands how to treat customers.

We love the King Kumpir they make and we have been there many times. We decided to order takeout and the packaging of the food was amazing and so was the taste. Unfortunately, one of the orders had corn which we didnt want, so they sent another one for free. Excellent food and service by Ahmet.
