Great restaurant. Such a shame that it will soon close its doors due to the owners' retirement.

One of our absolute favorite places in Amsterdam! The service, the food, the experience, the wine… everything is always amazing.

This is the most wonderful restaurant in Ams. Forget all the rest, they are the best. I could tell you everything about what your experience will be, but then i'd only spoil it. Dress up, take a deep breath and prepare to have a night you wont easily forget. Thank you for the lovely memories.

We had a wonderful meal at Betty's. Great service, great food, great people. I was especially happy that they were able to accommodate my partner's gluten/dairy/egg free diet, while still getting to enjoy the most amazing focaccia I've ever had. Be ready to spend the evening enjoying delicious food from around the world.

Heerlijk en bijzonder eten. De eigenaar spreekt met passie over de ingrediënten en de oorsprong ervan. Ook kan hij passievol vertellen over bijpassende natuurwijnen. De sfeer is rustig en fijn. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendenlijk en gastvrij. Ik heb een fantastisch avond gehad en zou het iedereen aanraden voor wie een bijzondere avond wilt.

Al 35 jaar lang een begrip in Amsterdam. 20 couvert zorgt voor een intieme setting in een authentiek aangekleed restaurant. Tot in de puntjes zelf uitgedacht door het hardwerkende stel die dit al zo lang doet. Vloeiend bewegen de oudere man en vrouw tussen de tafels, de keuken en de bar door met mooie gerechten, dranken en verhalen. Er werd bij ons zeker niet gekort op het dessert, tip voor als je een minder grote eter bent, vraag een bakje om 1 of 2 stukken taart mee te nemen om verspilling te voorkomen. Al met al een heerlijke gelegenheid. En LET OP: nog +/- 1 jaar open! Grijp je kans!

The food was absolutely outstanding. Great variety of cuisines from all over the world, with very interesting flavours! Definitely something for everyone!!

Enjoyed the experience, nice place, cooked for you my the owner couple, no menu just a fixed meal of whatever they choose. Some things were great, others were so so, I liked the cakes the least, but in general a very happy experience

I really regret going to this place ! No seriously. I regret going to this place at the time we went. We went on the last evening of our trip to Amsterdam unfortuantly. Nothing to do with the restaurent which is a perfect GEM ! But after having eating out (to much food ) for 4 days in row.....well, it was to much. ....This restaurant is short of a fine dinning experience...You need to have/MAKE time and enjoy all the gorgeous food these pasionnat people serve you. The food is perfect and so are the host(s). I will make a mental note to myself to go here on the first night of my next trip to Amsterdam an not the last. when you have (lots) of time (and are hungry) and want to be surprised by vegetarion cooking go there, it is well worth it

Very welcoming vegetarian place (no meat, fish or eggs used), where you really feel at home with the owners cooking / baking for you. Unique menu with 3 large shared dining plates (starters, mains, desserts) with dished from several countries around the world. Food is really diverse, tasty and colorful, the experience is totally worth it. Every dish is explained in great detail when brought to the table. Bread is baked locally and very tasty. Wine or beer can be added, great recommendations from the owner! Don't be scared by "natural wines", the ones we tasted were really great. Only 2 things to call out: - the desserts we had were good but too sweet / creamy; we would have preferred for example a chocolate mousse (yes, it is possible without eggs!) or more fruit-based items - full dinner takes approx. 3 hours, which makes sense to enjoy all of it, but for some people (not us) it can seem too long

Het is altijd fijn om bij Betty's te zijn. Geen keuze stress want er is maar 1 menu. Alles was lekker en ruim voldoende. Dus zeker niet met honger naar huis. Uitgebreide uitleg bij de wijnen en het menu. Tot snel.

Heerlijk eten, ontzettend aardige bediening met veel uitleg over wijn en eten. Kleine hoeveelheden van gerechten van over de hele wereld. Intieme setting. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar

Unser zweiter Besuch nach 6 Jahren hat uns wieder völlig begeistert. Freundliche Kontaktaufnahme per Mail und telefonisch, herzlicher Empfang. Buchung weit im Voraus erforderlich, da das Lokal mit 20 Gästen ausgebucht ist. Die meisten davon sind offensichtlich Stammgäste. Das dreigängige Menü nimmt einen mit auf eine Weltreise der Gewürze und Geschmäcker. Ich habe Gemüse nie besser und aromenreicher gegessen. Auch das Dessert ist ein absolutes Highlight. Küche und Service sind ein eingespieltes Team. Man braucht etwas Geduld…..aber es lohnt sich. Krönender Abschluss war ein prickelnder Dessertwein aus Spanien, phänomenal!! Danke, wir hoffen auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen in dieser tollen Stadt

Definitely worth checking out if you're vegetarian! The ambiance in the restaurant is very quiet and calm (not rowdy or festive) and the food is varied, interesting and delicious. The service is fantastic and you really get the sense that the menu, food and wine pairings have been created with passion and care

Bettys is a vegetarian institute in Amsterdam. It already exists for 35 years. Guido and Lien serve a 3-course meal. Each course is a culinary journey around the world and exists of several dishes, each one tasteful and interesting. This restaurant provides your with the experience of dinner at your favorite relatives.

Incredible! Best vegetarian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Every dish was like an explosion of flavor. Had no idea vegetables could taste so good. Was worth the hour drive. Need up my own cooking game now. Can’t wait to go again.

A lovely welcome and fabulous meal on Friday with my two friends. We loved the concept of the set menu and everything we ate was fresh and tasty. The wines were also excellent and I would definitely go back again for more! Very reasonably priced and a relaxing ambience in this restaurant . We aren’t vegetarian but just wanted to try something different and Betty’s exceeded our expectations!

Amazing experience, amazing dishes, lots of food (we now have lunch as well 😉) Caroline and Gido are extraordinary. Food from all around the world cooked with the best ingredients and lots of love. We will definitely come back. Also the silent atmosphere allows you to fully enjoy your partner and the food. 10/10!

Eating here was an incredible experience, the food was extremely delicious and the atmosphere and service was lovely. 100% recommend, and can guarantee that you will not leave hungry.

Not just a dinner, but a one-of-a-kind experience! The geography of the dishes and the variety of spices and ingredients is truly a work of passion and attention to detail. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The four-stage dinner – drinks, starters, mains, desserts – unrolls over the course of three hours and cannot be rushed; toward the end we were quite exhausted.

Ronduit een uitmuntend restaurant! Als je vegetarisch wil eten moet je kunnen koken, nou dat kunnen ze hier heel erg goed! Je voelt je echt te gast in dit restaurant, we hebben zeer genoten. Bedienen doet het echtpaar zelf, er is niets te wensen over! TOP!

Gisteren voor de 3de keer samen met mijn vriend bij Betty's gegeten. Zoals elke keer was het eten weer geweldig! Hele fijne uitleg over de ingrediënten en gerechten. Na afloop fantastische taartjes gegeten en ook mee naar huis genomen. Weer super gekookt en gebakken Gido en Lien! Wij komen zeker weer langs!

Intiem en met aandacht gegeten. Al bij binnenkomst ruikt het heerlijk naar wierrook maar niet overweldigend. Gastheer en gastvrouw verwelkomen en alles wordt tot de puntjes uitgelegd wat geserveerd wordt. Van alle windstreken proef je de smaken op je bord. Het gaat niet over veel eten maar met aandacht echt lekker eten. Vullend voor oog, maag en hart.
