Chez Nina Green Brasserie in Staatsliedenbuurt

I ordered a main dish: pinda linguine and it was way too little for a main dish. Looked rather like a start dish and that for €20! I'm still hungry!

The food itself was fine. But the service was very poor. There was little interaction, and we were stared out of the place at 11:00 PM, even though they don't close until midnight.

Very short and sweet: very good food, personal and pleasant atmosphere. A great addition!

We had high expectations of Noof, partly because we had eaten at the same location before when it was still Chez Nina and were very impressed by the quality back then. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing this time. The service felt mediocre, even though the restaurant was very quiet. We didn't feel like there was any real attention paid to the tables, which was a shame given the price level. The prices are on the high side. That started with the bread (€6.50 for two pieces of pita with olive oil). The biggest disappointment was the main course: the peanut linguine. This was literally linguine with peanut sauce and a minimal topping. For €20.50, we felt this dish was not proportionate to the price. It is not just about the price; the dish lacked balance and depth; there was little variation in texture or nutritional value, making the dish quite heavy and monotonous. A broad dish that was not tasty. The total amount of approximately €100 for two starters, two main courses, one shared dessert, and two non-alcoholic drinks also felt steep in retrospect, especially considering the quality of the dishes. In summary: Noof has a beautiful setting, but the value for money and the cuisine disappointed us.

We had a wonderful dining experience yesterday. The food was prepared with culinary excellence and, moreover, beautifully presented. There is nothing but praise for the staff as well: friendly, attentive, and professional. The absolute highlight was the sea bass with a delicious crispy topping, combined with a creamy beurre blanc sauce. A perfect flavor combination. We will definitely be back!

Peanut Bucatini Pasta is amazing

Excellent plant-forward restaurant with super friendly service and pleasant ambiance. Loved all the flavors, though the vegan options could still use some more plant-based protein in them. Since changing ownership, meat and fish have been added, which I completely understand - still a shame to see veal on the menu, though. Will for sure be coming back to this nice neighborhood spot. All in all well worth it for the experience.

The dishes are fresh and varied. It's possible to order several to share. Good options for vegetarians.

We had such a lovely evening here. We shared two starters and one main between the two of us, which was more than enough, perfect for a cosy girls night. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, really well balanced and full of flavor. The pistachio tiramisu was a highlight, honestly amazing. After dinner we stayed for cocktails, which were just as good, and the whole experience felt very relaxed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made it feel extra cosy. We sat outside with heaters and blankets, and it was just the perfect atmosphere for a nice evening out. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to more often 🤍

Upon entering, you are warmly welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere and decor in the restaurant are extremely pleasant and cozy. The selection of wines is extensive and good, as is the advice provided. The food is very good, as is the service between courses. The coffee served at Noof is of good quality. I highly recommend this restaurant! They will see me back in the future.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a pleasant experience last night. The place itself is nice, with beautiful decors and atmosphere but food is not memorable. Starters were good but the meat main courses were too small (my friends left hungry) and the clam pasta was tasteless and it actually arrived with mussels. The worse part of my experience was waiting 50 minutes for main courses (although the waiter informed us about the delay and apologised) as it ruined my following plans for the evening. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.

Service and food are absolutely top-notch! Portions might be a bit small! But they taste just as good! Would definitely order some extra cauliflower 😃 the team is super sweet and attentive!

Last Sunday we had a wonderful lunch at Noof's for my grandma's birthday. The service was fantastic, and they were truly hospitality-minded! The wine was also excellent! Definitely recommended.

Undoubtedly the best restaurant of the last 4 visits to Amsterdam.

Service team seems inexperienced but clearly means well. Dishes are tasty but the main course portions are extremely small especially since they do cost €24. Place looks nice. Would only recommend the restaurant if you’re specifically looking for a place with vegan options.

My wife and a great friend of ours dined here and it was SO GOOD! The space is modern, attractive and very comfortable, every single person working there that night (25 July) were so incredibly nice and attentive, and the food was phenomenal. We had the six course "summer feast" menu, which consists of a starter of some of the best bread and evoo ever; zucchini 3 ways; a pizzetta w/ fior de latte, zucchini, feta & pistachios (our friend candida's fave dish); mushroom ceviche; summer greens (cucumber, spring onion, snap peas w/ crisp chick peas in a tahini sauce, my fave) and peanut bucatini. Everything was delicious, timed right, & presented beautifully. Also, it paired perfectly with a great bottle of Gruner Veltliner. We will definitely come back here on our next visit, as it was the best vegetarian meal we have had. Go!

We ate at Chez Nina for the second time. It was fantastic again! We enjoyed the 7-course menu, which allowed us to sample every dish. Each dish was very different, which made it even more enjoyable and allowed for a wide variety of flavors! We had a wonderful time and were able to catch up in the stylish interior. The cocktails and desserts are also highly recommended.

We had a delicious meal and the staff were very nice and helpful! We chose the 7-course menu and started with the Nina Spritz (highly recommended!!!) we especially enjoyed the zucchini Three Ways and the peanut bucatini.

We went for the 7 course dinner and had a lovely meal, everything was delicious and complemented each other well. The service was nice and quick. Also, the interior was amazing. In short: everything felt right and I would definitely recommend it.

I could say that it is the only place in Amsterdam where we have eaten decently. They have three very complete and delicious vegetarian menus. A good place to have lunch or dinner, with staff who were interested in explaining to us how each dish was prepared.

We went on Valentine's day and there was a set menu. Even though we finished our plates, we went home hungry. It was simply not enough food for two people! The food itself was fine. Nothing impressed me, the three main dishes that made up the main course didn't work together and the desert was too small to share. In terms of atmosphere, the tables were too close together. The price was €80 p.p for the menu (+ drinks).

Absolutely delicious vegetarian dishes. We had the 6-course set menu, with each dish having distinct flavors that come from the fresh ingredients being used. Each dish was explained, and the whole experience takes about 2 hours. Don’t rush it and simply enjoy… Highly recommended, and will visit again to taste the next seasonal menu.

It was not bad (although some dishes were over salted), but for this price you’d expect either fine dining small portions with exquisite ingredients combinations, or a nice meal with bigger portions. Had a great meal last Saturday. The portions were a bit small, but I expected that because of the shared dining concept. I had The Starter with my group, but 2 dishes were a bit lighter (a soup and a salad), so I wouldn't recommend that for big eaters. In any case, the quality of the dishes made up for a lot! Service also friendly and attentive. The only downside I found was the gluten-free options. Someone in my group eats gluten-free and the gluten-free dishes were a lot simpler and smaller than the rest.

Very nice vegetarian restaurant that requires minimal adaptations to be fully vegan. We took the 7 dish menu set + dessert, vegan, and overall it tasted good, was varied enough and we we’re full by the end of it. For our menu the strong dishes were the polenta, winter greens, pasta, soup and of course the bread to soak the sauces. The pizza was the most disappointing out of them, as the pumpkin was overpowering with sweetness and the olives did not give a salty enough balance. Second most disappointing were the potatoes, the sauces there were great but the potatoes were stale, very much so. The deconstructed lemon tart was better suited as staying in its original form, and a bit more lemony, with less crumbles. The place is not cheap but in return you get a great experience, a very nice and cosy place with good service and included water / sparkling as part of the set menu. We’ll definitely come back for the next menu!

Delicious food, we tried a tasting menu and loved every single dish, including those with ingredients that I don’t normally like. Staff is super friendly and the place is cozy. Would definitely recommend to try unusual and yet delicious vegetarian food. You can definitely taste that every dish is uniquely studied and there is a lot of research behind each ingredient combination.

Very good food, 4 course lunch, €40 per person with two glasses of wine, but it remains difficult for me to eat completely vegetarian. But this was very tasty and I was still satisfied. Keep it up!

A lovely gem-of-a-place tucked around the corner that truly tickles ones tastebuds. Lovely choice of vegetarian and vegan that is absolutely amazing. We went for their festive menu a few days ago and their natural wine selection is truly top notch. Our waiter was thoroughly knowledgeable about every pairing wine.

I thought the service was good and that it was a tasting menu, but I didn't like the food that much. Several things had very strong flavors, such as smoke flavor or lemon leaf. There were things that were fried or tempura, which I didn't like either. The pizzettes were too dense and cheesy, very strong. I also thought it was a shame that a 6-course menu did not include dessert, which I think should be included in a menu. I left a lot behind, which I normally never do. My table companions actually liked it.

My friends and I had the most wonderful evening at Chez Nina! The food, wine, ambience and service were exceptional! Our waiter and sommelier was so attentive, knowledgeable and personal and really made our night! Out of a group of four, one vegan and one veggie even almost turned our carnivorous friends as the plant based menu was an absolute dream! Would highly recommend !

We ate here yesterday with 2 friends. We wanted to be surprised by the vegetarian cuisine. Ordered the full menu 3 times (excluding desserts). If you realize that there was 144 euros worth of food on the table, I think it is a bit meager, especially for pizza with fig gorgonzola, hummus and mushroom schnitzel. I liked the beet falafel (unfortunately 1 p.p.) the best. I really like fried polenta (preferably with parmesan foam) But unfortunately these pieces were cold, tough and hard and fried in advance. Just like bitterballen, these should be served fresh from the fryer/oil. Another dip, a kind of baba gamoush, had too overpowering the artificial smoke flavor that is so popular nowadays. Pleasant evening. nice wines, but the food was a bit disappointing and I expected more innovative from a restaurant specialized in vegetarian cuisine.

Bread was so tasty and the greens in tahini were perfect. 3 natural wines to accompany the amazing food were great. Never had such a dark rose before but loved it. Such friendly staff too!

We just visited this amazing place, and I can’t recommend it enough! They have a fantastic selection of gluten-free and vegan options, and everything we tried was incredibly delicious. The staff is absolutely lovely and greets you with a warm smile. A special shout-out to Niamh☘️, who made our experience even better with her friendly and attentive service. We’ll definitely be coming back! (The peanut bucatini and lemon tart are highly recommended😋😋😍)

Yesterday we ate at Chez Nina for the second time. The first time was a year ago, I already loved the food then, but I have the feeling that it has only gotten better. We took the 7-dish menu with wine pairing, the dishes were all delicious and the wine matched well with the food we received. It was nice that we were allowed to taste first and that they thought along if a wine was not quite to our taste. The dishes came to the table at a good pace, but not too hastily, we enjoyed a delicious meal for 2.5 hours. The service was also very good and the staff is very friendly. The only downside was that at the end we had no room for the lemon meringue tart, which was so recommended by the staff.

Incredible meal! Not only was the food divine, Luu was hands down the best server I’ve had ever. Knowledgeable and we felt like we were in great hands the way Luu guided us ordering. Will definitely be back again.

Very delicious, we had the second tasting menu and it was delicious. The only thing I wasn’t a big big fan of the pizza but all other dishes were very delicious. As a “dessert” we decided for the Paloma cocktail and it was very good. Service is also very friendly.

We had a super fun evening at Chez Nina. Delicious vegetarian dishes with lots of flavor and a good selection of wines. The atmosphere is cozy, fantastic terrace and the staff very nice. Josephine made sure that we lacked nothing and that we felt completely at home. I can recommend everyone to come and eat here once (or more often)!

Very slow service. We had made an order, and half an hour later the waitress came to us and asked if we got any of the dishes. The answer is “No”, the first half of an hour we had been just waiting. After the first hour of our 2 hours reservation they served only 2 dishes from the 6 dishes menu set. The dishes themselves were ok, but nothing special. All food was generously soaked in oil. Zucchini were burnt. It smelled cheap oil as it was from a fast food diner. The pizza was ok. I also was disappointed that there are no options to change dishes in the set. For example, I don’t eat beetroot, and I couldn’t replace it with another dish instead. The place located in very unpleasant area of the city and looks cheap (at least the terrace where we were sitting). The tables are too big with awkward holes all throughout. When we had pasta, one piece just fell through the hole on my boyfriend’s shoes. And if someone accidentally knocks over a glass of wine, it will spill all over your feet. No tablecloth. Even a waitress told a guy at the next table that she thinks these holes look absurd and make zero sense

Beautiful restaurant. Ella was amazing and so kind! I loved how professional and attentive she was. Food is absolutely delicious, and I’m not even vegetarian… we enjoyed the unique fruit sodas as well. This is a top place in Amsterdam with incredible service! We will definitely be coming back.
