We had a delicious meal and the service was top-notch. And all for a very reasonable price.

I cannot recommend the hamburgers or saté but everything else was delicious and worth another visit. Prices are reasonable, even in the weekend.

We had dinner at Bregje's tonight with our two teenage children and had a wonderful time. We really like the concept: for a fixed, reasonable price, you can choose from various dishes and get a complete menu. The food was delicious and the portions were fine. There is also plenty of choice for teenagers, which is of course a nice bonus. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and relaxed, and the service was friendly. All in all, a very successful evening. Highly recommended for the price-quality ratio. We will definitely be back again!

We have eaten here twice in a short time, and in both cases had to wait a very long time. It seemed like they couldn't handle the crowds. We thought we would try this restaurant again, but unfortunately, it was the same experience: the soup was lukewarm. We pointed this out and, after a long wait, received a new soup which was lukewarm again. Furthermore, I found it very unhygienic that there were a lot of mosquitoes. I don't know if we will come back here, as the rest of the food was very tasty. I hope these points are improved.

Good value for money. We enjoyed our meal in a very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, but probably due to the busyness, we were only asked once if everything was to our liking and if we wanted extra drinks. We will definitely come back again.

I have been to Bregje Emmen several times now, and the experience varies greatly. Unfortunately, this time was one of the lesser ones. We were there from 18:15 until about 21:00, and everything took a very long time. Ordering, serving, and even reordering drinks was slow, meaning you spend most of your time waiting. The portions were small and the dishes were not particularly flavorful, although the dessert was the best part. The atmosphere was also made unpleasant by cold ventilation and sticky tables. The staff was friendly, but clearly very busy, which did not benefit the service. Conclusion: fine concept and good price, but due to the slow service and inconsistent quality, the experience is too unpredictable.

After visiting the zoo, we spontaneously decided to go to the restaurant because the website looked good. The fixed price for dinner was reasonable, and the food was really delicious. The service was excellent. German wasn't spoken, but we were able to communicate quite well in English. There were three children's meals available. We were all satisfied. Our suggestion for improvement would be a small playground in the garden or a play area for the kids. There were quite a few children in the restaurant.

A PROMISE IS A PROMISE! Our waitress was a real star. We didn't make it easy for her. At first, we were supposed to arrive half an hour late. But in the end, we were fifteen minutes early. Just when we thought we could eat in peace, we received a notification that we had to be at Speedway Emmen earlier. So we had less than an hour to eat. After we asked if they could serve the dishes closer together, they did their best to make it possible. And with great success. We had a wonderfully delicious meal. The service was simply superb (with one lady in particular, because I promised you this review). And a big compliment to the kitchen and the owner. Thank you, and you will see us again in September this year.

Today, we had a lovely dinner at your restaurant with a party of 13 guests for a wedding. The service was not very quick or cheerful; everything took far too long. We even had to chase after our ordered drinks. We mentioned to a lady that we had a wedding couple among us. Well, that's nice, she said she would arrange something. When settling the bill, I asked her... Did you forget anything??? Well, she had passed it on... oh, excuses, they didn't do anything about it. Well, that's really helpful. A huge missed opportunity to put your guests in the spotlight. And do something about the teamwork among the staff! Because one person puts in their full effort, while another just muddles along. We have been to your restaurant 4 times now, and we had never experienced anything like this before!

Recently, we dined twice at Bregje in Emmen with a group of 12-15 people. We were pleasantly surprised; the food is delicious, there is a wide selection, a 3-course menu at an affordable price, and large portions. The service was friendly, and despite the busyness, the food was served quickly. We will definitely be back.

We had an extremely delicious meal. We were sitting in a bit of a draft and the service took a little while.

We had been here before in February and were very satisfied then. That is why our last visit was all the more disappointing. On the positive side, we would like to mention the beautiful terrace and the atmospheric decor of the restaurant. Additionally, an older waiter made a knowledgeable and professional impression on us. Complaints were also accepted without discussion. Unfortunately, the evening started with a few disappointments. The Radler we wanted was not available, and the starter we originally intended to order also turned out to be unavailable. Furthermore, our table had not been cleaned upon arrival, and this was not done during our entire visit. The replacement starter was also disappointing. One of the prawns was undercooked, and the bread under the salmon did not seem fresh. Moreover, we were not given cutlery or napkins, forcing us to eat the starter as finger food. Later, we ordered cola with plenty of ice, but it was served without a glass. The main courses also failed to convince us. The pulled-chicken tacos were lukewarm and tough in texture. The tomatoes served did not look fresh. The fries were very greasy and anything but crispy. Unfortunately, things didn't get much better with the desserts. The desserts were placed on the table rather carelessly, and there were still remnants on one of the spoons, meaning we had to ask for a napkin to clean it. The first Dame Blanche looked unappetizing, but was replaced without any issues after our comment. The passion fruit ice cream tasted good but contained a large ice crystal. The mini apple tart was fine in terms of taste, but baked so hard that it was almost impossible to cut through. Another dessert contained an extremely sweet, hard-to-place white cream. The choux pastry looked like a frozen product, was soggy, and failed to impress us either. All in all, we got the impression that many things went wrong at once this evening. Unfortunately, the beautiful location and a few positive points could not compensate for the many shortcomings regarding service, organization, and food quality. Because we have had a much better experience here before, we hope that this was just a one-off misstep.

Let's start by saying that it is a very beautiful restaurant. Nice and spacious with a lovely atmosphere. All main courses are served with fries; my partner doesn't like fries and asked if she could have some bread instead. The owner indicated that this was not possible, which is a very strange choice. I have never heard anywhere that this isn't possible. It has never been a problem at other Bregje locations either. The main course (salmon) was served with boiled potatoes; then just ask if she wants some extra of that instead of fries. We were very surprised, and not in a positive way. I find this anything but customer-friendly. Furthermore, dogs are allowed in the restaurant; I have never experienced anywhere else that dogs are allowed. I understand that franchise chains make their own choices, but I think this really defies all logic.

You can eat deliciously here for a reasonable price, although the selection is limited; unfortunately, I didn't see a tasty steak on the menu. It is a fun concept, though, because you have to order everything (starter, main course, and dessert) right at the start. The interior looks cozy too. I will definitely come back again.

On the evening of Whit Monday, I had a lovely dinner with my parents on the terrace at Bregje's. It was nice and relaxing sitting out there on the terrace. I enjoyed the new dishes. Delicious.

We came here to celebrate a wedding anniversary, and it was a beautiful experience. The place has lovely lighting, clean bathrooms, and the food was super tasty. The service was excellent, the waitresses were always smiling, gave great vibes, and really knew what they were selling. This is something you don’t see very often in restaurants in Emmen, and I wish more places had service like this. For a good price, you get a three-course meal. There’s a cheaper price from Monday to Thursday, and it’s a bit more expensive on the weekend, which is fair. I do think it would be nice to see more vegan options 🌱. Just a small detail: unfortunately, I think two of our drinks were forgotten at the end, as we had to wait quite a long time for them 🙏🏼🤍🫧. Thank you for a great experience, definitely recommended!

When I walked in, it seemed good. But the food was disappointing, because I had mentioned that I follow a salt-free diet. Not much was done about that; I had the hamburger, which was too salty for me. Because of the bacon and cheese. The bun was also very dry. Sorry to say this, but no more Brechje for me. It was also very noisy with some of the guests, and nothing was said about it.

Had a lovely dinner for two here last night. After a quick phone call, we were able to come in at 7:15 PM. During the meal, we didn't feel rushed at all, which is nice! For 20 euros... 3 courses... That's a steal. Delicious cocktails and beers on the menu. We really had a lovely evening, ate wonderfully, and enjoyed the hospitality!

We had to wait a very long time for the service, both to take the order and to clear the plates after the starter, as well as to clear them after the main course. My son's plate kept staying on the table (he received his main course while we were getting our starters) even though the wait staff had walked past and stood by the table multiple times... I had to ask them myself if they could take it away... then 5 out of 6 people received their dessert... the wait staff walked past again with desserts for another table, announcing that the 6th dessert was on its way... no, you serve one table completely first and only then do you go to another table... we were sitting down to dessert while the dishes from the main course were still partly on the table. 5 tables around us were certainly not cleared for at least half an hour after people got up. The plates and glasses sat on the table for at least 30 minutes while the staff walked to the kitchen empty-handed. So, as far as we are concerned, the staff could use some better training.. The food was otherwise fine... except for the tiered stand with various appetizers: they should have been told clearly what was on it... instead, we had to figure it out ourselves.

Last night I dined at Bregje in Emmen for the first time. The concept is simple: a fixed (relatively low) price for a three-course menu. However, the portions are a bit on the small side and the quality is average – although perhaps you can't expect much more for this price. The wait times between courses were quite long. Additionally, the drinks are on the pricey side: €6.25 for a 33 cl beer. The staff is young and seems to have little experience in the hospitality industry. A different person comes to the table for every task, making it impossible, for example, to order a drink immediately when the table is being cleared, meaning you have to wait again. The first drinks ordered were the wrong ones and had to be exchanged. Unfortunately, these unconsumed drinks were still on the bill, as I discovered upon arriving home. For me, this will remain a one-time visit.

Sticky table, dirty floor, cobwebs everywhere. We sat at table 93. The food was very greasy, dripping off it. If you don't have much money to eat out, this might be okay, but hygiene leaves a mile away. Once, never again.

Last week, my girlfriend and I dined here. The surroundings are beautiful and the restaurant's interior is very neat; the restrooms were clean. It was very busy, but fortunately, we had made a reservation. Despite the crowds, they still took the time to ask if we wanted anything to drink and if everything was to our liking. The food we ordered also arrived very quickly, and the dishes looked very well presented. The staff was very friendly, and for us, it was a lovely evening out.

Located in a beautiful building in Emmen. Friendly welcome and service. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food isn't bad, but the satay was a bit greasy and the burger was on the dry side. The appetizers (carpaccio and mushrooms) were fine. The bill was low, not typical for the Netherlands. All in all, very satisfied.

Food was good for the price. However, we (and the other customers) had to wait very long for each dish to be served despite more than half of the restaurant being unoccupied.

First time eating here. The menu listed Tomato soup, salmon with warm vegetables and fries, and chocolate dessert. All three dishes were well made. Everything was fine and the service was prompt. Personally, I would like to add the option for warm vegetables as a side (currently you can choose extra lettuce as an additional side).

A three-course meal for a small price (€19.50) in a cozy atmosphere. The hamburger was disappointing, though. It was a real factory-made hamburger. In hindsight, I should have ordered the spare ribs instead!

We ate at Brechtje in Emmen on Saturday evening. They're located in a charming old building on the edge of Emmen's city center. The exterior certainly has a charming atmosphere. Once inside, you quickly get the feeling of a large dining room. But that's not the concept. Once at our table, it took quite a while before we could order a drink, and in the meantime, we spent a good amount of time looking around because we were practically glued to the table. We also noticed that there were a lot of dust webs everywhere. Unfortunately, the cutlery wasn't clean either. A good cleaning service is essential in this restaurant. Once our drinks were ordered, they were brought quickly. However, it was too much for the staff to walk around the table, and they asked us to take care of it. This is probably their policy, as everyone on the staff followed the same approach, including serving the food. The food—the starter, main course, and dessert—was excellent. (Price-quality) It's been a few years since we've been here, and it'll probably be a few more years now.

We had a lovely meal here tonight, with plenty of choices on the menu, but the service was mediocre. We had to wait a really long time for our food and drinks (the second glass of wine didn't arrive until dessert, as we ordered it at the beginning of the main course). We're not sure we'll be back.

The food was great, not everything was equally delicious, but I guess that's a matter of personal taste. Service sometimes took a bit longer. The atmosphere was nice. My wife's comment was that the restrooms were really filthy.

A fantastic experience at Bregje Emmen! I ate at Bregje Emmen for the first time yesterday, and what a pleasant surprise! The food was top-quality and priced very reasonably – truly value for money. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, checking in regularly to make sure everything was to your liking. All in all, we had a fantastic evening. Definitely worth repeating!

A 3-course meal at a reasonable price, but the bottle of wine must be in a holder (no ice). Still water was a mm off and not served. The table was sticky (the owner explained that the table gets sticky under the influence of sunlight 🙃). Apparently, you can't expect too much in terms of price. Bregje, better experiences at another location.

After driving past it several times, we thought, "Now we'll give it a try!" It looks nice. But... what a shame. The staff is all young, inexperienced, which leads to many mistakes and a lack of service. You can't have a conversation at the table: it's so incredibly noisy! The toilets; there was urine everywhere except in the bowl itself. Such a shame, the food was okay.

We've been to this Bregje branch a few times now; in terms of decor, it's one of the nicer and more spacious Bregje restaurants, in our opinion. The food is, as always, excellent and affordable at Bregje. We enjoy going there.

For the price you pay, you get plenty of food, and the quality is excellent. The restaurant's charming staff goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. The food was excellent, and we'll definitely be trying more. The affogato dessert was truly fantastic.

Food was delicious, only staff was more busy with each other than with the guests. We are in the catering industry ourselves. Never experienced this. We were done with main course at 20:00, after waiting more than half an hour, at 20:40, we left without dessert.

We zijn er nu voor de zesde keer wezen eten, altijd zeer goed en 5 keer tevreden geweest. De laatste keer zeer lang moeten wachten, te veel gasten t.o.v. de hoeveelheid bediening ( waren meerdere klachten ) Het vlees was pruimtabak, niet mals ( ook niet nadat het nogmaals in de oven was geweest) het was ook niet gebraden, leek wel gekookt, ook de kleur zag er niet uit. Wel de laatste keer geweest, gaan er nooit meer heen.
