Great beers and tasty snacks with friendly staff in a beautiful location

We had a delicious dinner here in a cozy atmosphere. The selection is small but perfectly adequate. The beer was also fantastic. There are a variety of beers from the regional Sancti Adalberti brewery, freshly tapped.

Arrived as a cycling stopover. Stayed longer due to a rain shower. But very pleasant.

Beautiful location! Inside, it's charming, and the old farmhouse has been beautifully preserved. Outside, there's a terrace with a view of the ruins or the flower-filled garden at the back. Very friendly staff! We felt very welcome. We had delicious cake. We'll definitely be back for an organic beer and the live music. Tip: you can moor your boat or canoe just around the corner. We rented a canoe from the Maalwater canoe rental in Heiloo and had a wonderful trip.

Three days in a row we enjoyed a nice beer, whiskey and just ice tea with the view on our tents :) We especially enjoyed the contact with the owner, who took the time for us. After a busy holiday there was still a hamburger for us and we were very happy with that. Worth repeating!!!

What a beautiful establishment! Beautifully situated, excellent accommodation, friendly service. A bit of a shame: the price level of the drinks is too high. At a tasting room of a brewery you expect at least "reasonable" prices, but if you have to pay € 12.00 for 1 glass of wine and 1 Pastorale together, that is a lot of money for two drinks.

Beautiful ambiance in a new location at the Kasteel. A cozy dining room and a pleasant beer garden behind the house. A great stop on a bike ride or for a relaxing end to the day. Top-notch beer and very friendly service. A variety of delicious small and large dishes.

Nice new tasting room, tasty beers

Beautiful brewery, nice story about its origins. We were very warmly welcomed by 2 volunteers from the brewery. First a nice story about the origins of the brewery and its name, while enjoying a blonde beer. Then an extensive tour of the brewery where the entire process was clearly explained. After the tour, we returned to the tasting room where we enjoyed nice beers and tasty snacks. Bitterballen containing their tripel tasted great! Definitely worth repeating, and then combine it with a few days in Egmond aan Zee to walk in the beautiful surroundings.

The shop at the brewery is closed even though the opening hours state that they are open. They are renovating the tasting room/pub. You drive here for nothing.

Today (February 13) I visited the store. So it is open Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and  1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Bottled beers (33 cl and 75 cl), glasses and gift sets are available from sometimes the brewer in person :) But no beer is currently served / tapped here. In April, a brand new tasting room will open at a location elsewhere in Egmond aan den Hoef, which is now being worked hard on. Keep an eye on the Facebook page or website for this.

Cozy and informal, as a real tasting room should be. Simple snacks and a good glass of beer.

Stand open. If you arrive there on Saturday in the rain, they have crossed out on a piece of paper that they are open and written it closed. Please ensure that the times on the site etc. correspond

A tasting of beers taken on the advice of the waiter... perfect choice! Includes a snack board and hot snacks. Unfortunately we ran out of cheese, but that was resolved very well. The olive oil is really bizarrely delicious... real Greek olive oil so it couldn't be otherwise... it was a great experience. Thanks 🤗🤗

Dropped in for a beer and a bite on a Sunday bike ride through the local tulip fields. The beers are simply excellent - a very good representation of the heavy Belgians with seasonal twists yet true to traditional style. We had a few toasties but were still hungry so Bram recommended the snack board and that filled our hunger gap. The staff were kind and more than accommodating, happy to share some of the history of the brewery and, since they weren't terribly busy on a Sunday, took extra time to make sure we were happy with the food and the beverages. Food was good, the people and the beers were top shelf - I confidently recommend a visit as I'm sure you'll find something you like!

We didn't eat, so it's difficult to judge. We went for the abbey beer. Customer friendly.

Het proeflokaal van de brouwerij is leuk ingericht met enthousiast, betrokken en gastvrij personeel. Het is de enige abdijbier brouwerij in Nederland. We hebben gekozen voor een proeverij van 4 abdij bieren. We mochten zelf kiezen welke we wilden proberen. We hebben in deze leuke setting en sfeer genoten van de proeverij. Als je in de buurt bent is het zeker een aanrader!

The brewery's tasting room is nicely decorated with enthusiastic, committed and hospitable staff. It is the only abbey beer brewery in the Netherlands. We opted for a tasting of 4 abbey beers. We were allowed to choose which one we wanted to try. We enjoyed the tasting in this nice setting and atmosphere. If you are in the area it is definitely recommended!

Heerlijk biertje van de tap genuttigd met borrelhapjes. Erg goed bevallen. Vriendelijk personeel en leuke ambiance. Mooi dat er gebrouwen wordt met zoveel mogelijk biologische ingrediënten en lokale producenten!

Lekker mensen kijken op deze hoek. Veel bierkeuze, het bier Kwade Wouter was lekker en had ook echt een verhaal. Bitterballen heerlijk met lekkere pittige mosterd erbij. We kwamen hier langs met de Bierroute 'De drie Egmonden' van de ANWB. Echt een aanrader.

This warm and cosy place is located just by the roadside. Or our cycling trip we stopped over for a refreshment and we ended up staying until closing. Woopsie. The place is lovely and has great outside seating. The place is a taproom of the local abbey beer brewery which apparently brews world's only organic abbey beer, or so the passionate barman told us. We only had the Red Ale, Tripel and Blond - all very great stuff. Make sure to come here early as the place closes after 8. Highly recommend!

Leuk! Per ongeluk langsgelopen en een lekker bakkie koffie met appelgebak gedaan. Later op de dag nog eens langs gereden om een paar bijzondere bieren op te halen. Helaas waren we iets te vroeg voor het diner: stoofvlees bereidt met bier uit eigen brouwerij. De man achter de toog is een echte kastelein.

Utbudet av öl var gott liksom även bemötandet.

Leckeres Bier, Bio und handwerklich hergestellt. Die Speisen sind ausbaufähig.

Prachtige locatie met erg lekkere biertjes. Vriendelijke bediening. Irritant punt (vind ik) is het bakje "zoute chips" met een plakje kaas erover en een sausje uit een pot voor € 8,25 verkopen alszijnde Nachos. Be.lach.e.lijk!

Bier is een 10! Nu ook de borrelplank een 10!

Das neue Lokal ist sehr gemütlich. Das Bier schmeckt so frisch als ob es gerade erst gebraut wurde (was es wahrscheinlich auch ist). Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker und vieles in Bio-Qualität und auch vegan erhältlich. Das Personal berät einen auch gut und kann auch Deutsch und Englisch. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder

Huge improvement over the tap room at the brewery. Larger and very good food selection, more outside space and no steps to climb! Lots of room inside and wonderful patio area. Beer is fantastic from the tap also available for purchase.

Afgelopen vrijdag hier gestopt na een fietstocht. Mooie locatie, heerlijke bieren op de tap en attente bediening. Zal hier zeker vaker naar toe fietsen op een warme dag!

Ein Muss für jeden, der in die Region kommt. Das beste Bier (empfohlen: Bierprobe) und leckeres Essen. Nette Bedienung

Durch zufall dran vorbei gekommen, kurz geschaut und ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Preis Leistung ist sehr gut 👍 und ich komme gerne zurück.

Lekker eten en drinken. Erg vriendelijk zijn personeel.

Vanmiddag geluncht bij Liberté - en dat is heel goed bevallen. Verrassende menukaart, ook voor mijn vegetarische vriendin. Zij was ook erg blij met de uitgebreide lijst met sapjes en drankjes. We komen terug
