We've vacationed in Bergen several times. Last year, we discovered this restaurant. It's simply delicious. The service is excellent. This year, we weren't disappointed either. Highly recommended! 5 stars 🌟

Wir waren Silvester zum ersten Mal in diesem schönen Restaurant und waren absolut überrascht und begeistert. Gehobene Küche, Fine Dining - zu einem fairen Preis! Sehr freundlich Bedienung und gute Weine. Heute waren wir wieder dort und haben uns für das 4 Gang-Menü entschieden…von Vorspeise bis zum Dessert alles perfekt. Ganz herzlichen Dank! Ihr seid jetzt unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Bergen und wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch bei euch.

What a wonderful and successful evening at the "Alte Linde"... a delicious menu (we had the three-course menu), each course better than the last, incredibly friendly, attentive staff with a very natural charisma, and... very beautifully and tastefully decorated. ABSOLUTELY recommended!

What a nice place! Service was informal but correct! Super cozy and despite the Christmas (evening) crowd super good and fast help. Dietary wishes are well taken into account in the dishes and the wines ... sublime! All in all a good place to enjoy your evening. Price-wise certainly not bad.

Sehr gutes Restaurant. Sorgfältige Zubereitungen, gute Saucen, kreativ ohne verspielt zu sein/kein falscher Schein. 4-Gang + 3-Gang: Wildschein hauchdünn mit Rehtpaté, Kalbsbries, Hirschfilet, Käseplatte, geflämmter Fenchel, Panna Cotta... Alles sehr fein. Allein die Käseplatte war etwas uninteressant. Französisch, allerdings ohne Überraschungen (Morbier, Blauschimmel etc. ) Hier habe ich persönlich mehr Mut zu einheimischen Produkten erhofft. Leider wurde das umfangreiche Weinsortiment gar nicht erst angeboten. Aber hier soll das sehr gute Essen maßgeblich sein, daher bleibt es bei 5 Sternen. Preis-Leistung ebenfalls sehr gut. Personal (bis auf den Wein) stets sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Ein unfassbar gutes vier-Gänge Menü haben wir hier gegessen. Angefangen mit dem Thunfisch ( Tataki gegart ); dazu ein toller Nordseekrabbensalat. Schön angerichtet und geschmacklich schon sehr überzeugend. Danach folgte in der Menü-Reihenfolge die Gambas mit viel Knoblauch und leckeren Nudeln und tollem Sud. Die Garnelen waren perfekt gegart, der Sud ein Traum. Der dritte Gang des Menüs dann: Entenbrust mit diversen Komponenten als Beilage, besonders lecker dabei war der Rotkohl und die Sauce. Begleitet zuerst von einem köstlichen Roséwein und zu der Ente dann einen leckeren Rotwein. Abgeschlossen wurde das Menü dann mit Pana Cotta und einem herrlichen Eis. Besonders möchte ich auch das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis loben. Auch der Service war im laufe des Abends wirklich gut und stets freundlich. Fließendes Englisch war kein Problem. Das Ambiente ist auch nach meinem Geschmack gewesen, nur ist der vordere Raum doch sehr spärlich mit Licht ausgestattet. Was aber das Essen angeht, wirklich großes Kompliment an Onder de Linde. Klare Empfehlung für dieses tolle Restaurant!

Very attentive and extremely friendly service. We hadn't registered the dog in advance and the restaurant was fully booked. In the end everything worked out perfectly. The 4-course menu was prepared with excellent craftsmanship and tasted excellent. Child greetings to the kitchen. Price/performance very good. 10/10 recommendation. We would love to come back!

Op aanraden van Thomas ( Huize Mare ) gister bij Onder de Linde gegeten met ons 3en was echt een ervaring, gastvrije bediening en geweldig goed eten , wat ons betreft een heel goede aanrader. Fam.Willekes

Ate for the first time at this pearl in Bergen; what a fantastic place. Everything was great, of course the food, but also the service. And then it has been there for 23 years. I had the prawns and the guinea fowl as a main course. They both get a big 10 from me! Rarely have you eaten so well.

We spent a culinary special and at the same time relaxing evening in a cozy and beautifully designed atmosphere. The service is personal and courteous. The wine recommendation was perfect and the food was a delight. We'd love to come back.

For us a gem in Bergen... The service is top notch, wine selection and very complete. The food, there was just a new menu, was very good and tasty Dietary requirements were easily taken into account, something was even devised on the spot for dessert... the atmosphere and personal touch make this a more than good restaurant... we will come back when we are in Bergen again...

Wat een beleving. Met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen hier gegeten. Het eten was verrukkelijk en met al onze wensen ( ook die van de kleinkinderen) werd rekening gehouden. De bediening is vlot en zeer vriendelijk. De kok verdient een dikke pluim voor zijn heerlijke creaties. Alles werd er aan gedaan om het voor ons een onvergetelijke ervaring te maken.

Perfekte Küche - tiptop, meine Frau und ich hatten einen wunderbaren Abend. Das Essen ausgezeichnet, der Service wie er sein soll. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Espresso überdurchschnittlich.

We were invited by friends so the atmosphere is always good. In terms of food, we were sometimes surprised by the combinations and the layout, but the nice wine list made up for everything. It's just a pity that if you choose a Jean Fery Montrachet and the waiter wants to uncork it, you have to find out for yourself that it is not a Jean Fery and that they wanted to serve another wine because they no longer had the Jean Fery. But that didn't spoil the fun, the alternative was also good.

Stunning food. We have rarely eaten so well. Very friendly service and a very great atmosphere with beautiful works of art on the walls. The restaurant has several awards (Michelin stars every year, etc.). It is also very comfortable and you can see into the kitchen. We recommend.

The 3-course menu tasted extremely good. Small, somewhat hidden restaurant. What a delicious meal we had here!! The tenderloin a bit buttery soft. I can't remember ever having it so tender. And a 10 for the hostess who served us all evening. That completed the picture. But then she has to visit Amersfoort now!! 😉

Passing through the city of Bergen, half an hour from Amsterdam, we booked into this restaurant at the last minute on a Saturday evening. We enjoyed this restaurant but the homemade cuisine is delicious. We had the three course menu and loved it.

It couldn't be better: attentive and friendly service, great taste experiences and reasonable prices. All in all a lovely evening at the “Onder de Linde”!

Kwalitatief erg goed eten, de sfeer is lastig te beschrijven, geen chique restaurant maar ook geen gezellige brasserie. Het is allemaal net te oud om echt de stap te maken naar de top tent van Bergen.

Onze vrienden namen ons als verrassing mee naar dit restaurant en het was super. Een prachtig restaurant op een mooie locatie met een mooi concept. In verschillende rondes kon je mini gerechten bestellen. Ze waren allemaal maar lekker. We zaten in de zaal die aan de keuken grenst. In het begin was dit prima maar op den duur werd het echt te warm. Helaas konden/mochten de ramen niet open. Voor de rest was het goed verzorgd.

Delicious, very well crafted menu. Original flavour pairings (gambas, Vietnamese noodles and sun dried tomatoes!) that actually work. Charming and prompt service. A gem.

Absolutely wonderful ambience and delicious chef’s menu, perfect wine combo! The restaurant is family owned and run, and they really love and care for their craft. Everything about our dinner experience was perfect and I very, very highly recommend Onder de Linde! I can’t wait to return.

This place was amazing. Run by a family, chef produced some well balanced combinations of the dishes. We ordered 3 course meal without desert and entree and seabaas fish as main course were absolutely delicious. Staff were chef’s children and wife was super attentive to us. Settled in a smaller street not far from village vibrant center (in spite of Wednesday center was crowded with orchestra on the streets), we chose table closer to the street so we can enjoy the air and big trees
