Super nice place to enjoy Dutch beers! The service is great, helpful and friendly and the beers are unique, changing and delicious. Beautifully central in Groningen, nice terrace when the weather is nice. We go here regularly and it's always good. Delicious drinks or snacks are also possible.

The staff was very pleasant. The choice of beers is truly extraordinary... more than 100 beers. One beer is also gluten-free. The place is located in an area with many bars.

Always delicious beers and nice atmosphere. Went on Saturday evening, the owner was alone in the shop, but we still received really great service! The next day we found out that something on the receipt was wrong, but she called us back about this and everything was resolved very well and quickly, very nice :)

Great place with a very friendly owner. They have many different beer taps with all kinds of mostly local craft beer that you won't find anywhere else. Definitely recommended if you love special/craft beer!

Many Groningen specialty beers. Clearly organized beer list per city/municipality. The owner REALLY knows about beer, but that actually makes sense with a specialty beer café. Pleasant loudness of music. And wheelchair accessible by helpful guests. Even the 1st floor is wheelchair accessible.

On my day trip to Groningen I came across this nice little bar. Thirsty for a beer I entered and felt instantly welcome. The ambient was nice & cozy, the music sended out good vibes and the service was exquisite(and made me even feel more welcome) as was the served beer. So many great tasting beer brands, I wanted to try them all. Since I couldn't I definetly need to come back again! Thank you and till next time💜 PS: german bakers seemed to be welcome😉

People may call me crazy that this Belgian comes to the Netherlands to enjoy beer, but this place really has everything. Friendly and knowledgeable service - I am here for the third time this holiday and have already received very knowledgeable advice on a number of beers -, a fantastic menu with only Dutch beers - and some are real gems if you like tasty beers -, and open, open-minded people even ready for an interesting chat when it's not busy. Highly recommended!

If you are in Groningen, definitely go to Mout. Inside looks cozy. The ladies of this tasting room know their stuff. The map is very large. Certainly all beer brewers in Groningen are on the map here. Supplemented with beautiful brewers from the rest of the Netherlands. Some beers are a bit pricey.

Als je in Groningen bent ga zeker naar Mout. Binnen ziet er er gezellig uit. De dames van dit proeflokaal hebben verstand van zaken. De kaart is zeer groot. Zeker alle bierbrouwers van Groningen staan hier op de kaart. Aangevuld met mooie brouwers uit de rest van Nederland. Sommige bieren wel een beetje aan de prijs.

Nice specialty beer cafe in the heart of Groningen!

A real favorite of my friend and I in Groningen! When we come here we are always approached very cheerfully and personally. In addition, an extensive range of beers! Even for a not big beer lover (like myself) there are more than enough tasty/fruity options. Whenever we go for a drink in the city this is our go-to place, I can recommend Mout to everyone!

Can't comment on the food as I only come for drinks, but the selection there is astounding. A plethora of beers and even some fun ciders you won't find elsewhere, service is always spot on and the atmosphere is great. Whether you're a diehard beer fanatic or looking for your first foray into special beers you'll find yourself at home here. Cannot recommend enough

Beautiful place on the muted Zuiderdiep with more than good service. The beer of your choice is not available, a substitute will be recommended to you. Excellent knowledge of the operator. Only beer from Dutch soil. Also in winter a wonderful place to start your weekend.

Lots and only specialty beer (see image). not an ordinary lager. So the bill quickly becomes a bit higher than normal, but on the other hand the alcohol percentages are also a bit higher and you need less of it 😅

I would 5 stars only because of the lady who was serving us. And she was so charming also. Being an indian I was first skeptical to go inside this place. But the experience was so nice. Would like to visit again if in gronigen

Every Dutch city needs a place like this! Craft beer done right. Basically a library for beers from Dutch microbreweries -- over a hundred on offer at any one time. No beer lover should leave Groningen without a visit!

Mooi café. Geen onzin, geen poespas, gewoon een kaart ramvol met de meest bijzondere biertjes. Voor elk wat wils. Kundig en vriendelijk personeel dat elk biertje kent. Ook hapjes verkrijgbaar. Ook een terrasje voor de deur aan het Zuiderdiep met veel zon.

Susan en de andere gast dame weten precies waar ze over praten. Goede combinatie van gastvrijheid en keihard werken. Bijna alle biertjes konden ze wat over vertellen en als je het vraagt hoef je geen eens een kaart open te doen en helpen ze je met de keuze!! TOP TENT!

Als bierliefhebber hier neergestreken. Leuk en vriendelijke ontvangst. Een grote keuze uit heel veel verschillende bieren. Overigens ook een winkel voor wie wat mee wil nemen. Leuk plek in het centrum.
