Delicious bread and a nice terrace

For the umpteenth time, I am paying 1 euro per currant bun for buns from the day before. If you charge such exorbitant prices, you should simply sell freshly made buns or otherwise offer a 50% discount. You just can't do this! I have pointed this out multiple times at the store, but they just keep doing it.

Nice shop and delicious sandwiches, definitely worth the detour.

We are from Belgium and haven't eaten such a delicious sandwich in ages. Absolutely recommended if you are in the area!

Without a doubt the best bread in multiple respects; simply super tasty, honest ingredients without junk, fresh, and actually made on-site. Since we discovered this bakery, we haven't been anywhere else. The average supermarket bread with lots of E-numbers and junk in it has nothing to do with real bread. Here you buy something that actually has nutritional value and is good for your body. The staff are always super friendly. I read that some feel they have to choose quickly, but I have never experienced it that way; everything is clearly displayed and the assortment is super well-organized. Tip: if you do just as much research on buying bread as you would on buying a new car and feel you need more time, they have a website where you can browse all the products for hours. 😉

A good bakery where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea inside or outside, with or without a sandwich. I'd call the interior alternative, but it's not an interior design shop!

Excellent bread. Bad management. Store had a confusing set up which causes you to make a hat choice, also there is no order in the queue Website said you can sit inside but that's not the case causing us to eat in the car. Could be so so much better.

The shop itself looked nice, but the layout felt a bit cluttered. I wanted to browse in peace, but the employee immediately came to my side to ask what I wanted to order. I hadn't seen anything yet, so I hastily picked something out. Too bad... aren't we allowed to see what's on the counters?

The layout is quite confusing for many customers, creating a strange atmosphere in the store. If they can fix this, it'll be a top-notch store with high-quality products.

The bread is delicious, as is the coffee. The store is a bit confusingly laid out; the bread isn't behind a display case, but you're also not allowed to approach it to see the options. Because as soon as you approach the bread, an employee is there to politely but firmly request you to step back. This makes the experience in the store much more unpleasant: you can't clearly see what's available and there's a long line, so you rush to make a quick choice.

Outdoors only. But in good weather, it's highly recommended.

The sandwiches are delicious here, and on a nice day, it's really nice to sit outside. Today I popped in for a quick coffee just before it started raining. I wanted to sit inside, but that turned out not to be the case; the chairs inside were for the staff, even though they were empty at the time. There wasn't really an explanation as to why, and the way it was communicated didn't feel very friendly or welcoming. It's a shame, because you end up leaving with a bad feeling. Perhaps a brief explanation would make a big difference to the customer experience.

We found the layout uninviting, as there's a fence between the sandwiches and pastries and you, the customer, making it difficult to browse. On the other side of the store, they sell items like jewelry, which felt a bit confusing. There weren't many options after 2:00 PM when the bakers were gone, such as sandwiches (only four to choose from) or a slice of the cake they had (which could only be purchased whole). We ended up with two croissants, which were quite large, fluffy, and firm, and tasted good, so that was definitely fine.

Bought something from this bakery for the first time. How wonderful! Bread was nice and light and tasted good. The atmosphere is also cozy.

The quality of the sandwiches and pastries is incredibly tasty! A big but: If you come after 11:00, there is a good chance that a lot will be gone. Been four times in total, three times I couldn't choose what I came for. Fortunately, the alternatives taste great.

Wat een geweldige bakker. Alles vers en zulke mooie eerlijke producten! Je kan er (met mooi weer buiten) ook heerlijk van een koffietje en / of een lunch genieten. Een paar dagen geleden heb ik hun volkoren desem brood mogen proeven en gelijk opslag verliefd! Heerlijk. Ook kreeg ik een Muesli koek mee om te proeven en die is zeker ook voor herhaling vatbaar. Super leuke meiden en goede service! Ze hebben er een klant bij!

Ambachtelijke bakker met zeer lekker brood, verschillende variëteiten in hun aanbod. Ook het gebak is zeker een aanrader. Je kan hier eveneens terecht voor een lekkere koffie of een ijsje. Zeer vriendelijke bediening.

Kwaliteitsbakkerij, alles lokaal en ambachtelijk gemaakt in Vathorst door een team enthousiaste bakkers. Je kunt er ook genieten van een kopje koffie met iets door hun gebakken erbij. En je kunt er terecht voor handgemaakt ijs, heerlijk op een warme zomerse dag.

Deze bakkerij heb ik echt in mijn hart gesloten. Fantastisch hoe Vickey en haar team keihard staan te werken voor heerlijk brood, de allerbeste croissants van Nederland én vergeet de koeken/patisserie niet! Ook leuk om buiten te zitten of een zelfgemaakt ijsje te halen!

Goede sfeer, heerlijke broodjes, en zeker betaalbaar! Ook erg leuk dat je er workshop kunt volgen!

Kom vrijdagmorgen om 11.00 uur voor croissantjes zijn ze al uitverkocht daar wordt je niet vrolijk van gelezen dat jullie de lekkerste hebben en dan 0 voorraad.

Over het algemeen ben ik erg kritisch op brood, bij wijze van Proef eens naar deze bakkerij gegaan, maar dit is een blijvertje! Heerlijk brood, taarten maar ook koeken, vers, heerlijk geurend en goed houdbaar. Als er nog mensen zijn die supermarktbrood eten, moeten die hier eens wat kopen, dan ben je voor altijd genezen. Deze hardwerkende mensen gun ik iedere euro, zeker in deze tijd met die achterlijke energieprijzen. Een reden voor om om te rijden! Ga zo door, klasse!

Een lunch voor 10 personen besteld (menu B, broodjes en soep). De broodjes en soep waren heerlijk! Verschillende smaken en allemaal even lekker. Ook was het een goede hoeveelheid en niks extra’s erbij hoeven serveren. Naast dat ik veel producten uit de bakkerij erg lekker vind vond ik dit ook erg geslaagd, een aanrader!

Gisteren gebak en broodjes gekocht bij jullie. Ik moet even delen dat jullie je echt onderscheiden wat smaken en producten betreft. Het bladerdeeg van de broodjes is uitzonderlijk. Geen vette hap maar heerlijk luchtig en totaal niet vet. De vulling van het kaas broodje is totaal niet te vergelijken met de standaard kaas broodjes die je overal kan krijgen. Ik kan het niet omschrijven, je moet het gewoon proeven. Het saucijzenbroodje was heel goed gevuld met een heerlijke licht pittige subtiele smaak. Over subtiele smaak gesproken het tiramisu gebakje had een zeer subtiele smaak, gewoon heerlijk en nog nooit ergens anders zo geproefd. Ik weet waar ik uitzonderlijke lekkere producten kan halen! Oh en foto's heb ik niet want het was snel op😋

super lekkere vegan taartjes . vegan ijs is ook fantastisch . Ik kan niet tegen melk dus fijn dat er alternatieve opties zijn. mooie verse broden. Deze bakkerij is de beste van Heel Amersfoort. In deze bakkerij bakken ze vers & alles zelfgemaakt , En er zit geen bewerkte zooi in.

Lovely place with de lekkerste koek

Lekker brood, van een lokale winkel in Vathorst. Een goed alternatief tegen de supermarkten. 5 sterren! Maarrrr… Inmiddels 3jr verder…Net op mijn fiets gesprongen om nog snel een brood te scoren voor bij het avond eten. Kom om 17:30 de winkel binnen en zie gelukkig nog enkele zakken met brood liggen. Ook dat stokbrood waar ik stiekem op hoopte dat die er nog zou zijn….Maar al dat brood wordt niet verkocht en is voor de voedselbank zegt het nieuwe meisje achter de balie. Ik zie nog enkele kratten staan met ook brood….?? Maar nee, na 5 uur wordt er enkel nog koffie verkocht….Dus dan maar naar de jumbo en daar een brood gekocht, niet veel keus meer maar wat er licht wordt gewoon verkocht. Een alternatief voor de supermarkt is deze bakkerij dus niet meer na 5 uur. Die supers snappen iets wat ze bij deze bakkerij helaas nog moet leren. Klant kwijt? Misschien wel, er zijn nog andere goede bakkers op fiets afstand….

Een leuke plek waar je lekkere dingen kan kopen. Aardige mensen. Wij kopen er altijd verse gist. Niet heel duur, maar ook niet goedkoop.

Alles vers bereid, goede ingrediënten, fijne sfeer, prettig personeel. Kortom een toplocatie

This place popped up on our search on bakeries in Amersfoort, so we went there just to try it out. SO LOVELY! Freshly baked goods. The sandwiches and desserts we had were so tasty and really great and friendly service

We first found this lovely café a year ago before we moved to the area. We haven’t stopped coming since. The bread is the best. If you have “gluten” issues try the produce here. With the sourdough starter it is far healthier, and so delicious. Little cakes and all sorts of biscuits are available as well. Wait till the Christmas period and try the Oliebollen. They are something else. Then the coffee. Lots of time and effort go into making your “cuppa”, one of the best in Amersfoort. To top it off the staff are all friendly, as is Vicky, the owner.

Naast de sfeer die verfrissend is, geweldig brood en ook de taarten zijn voor herhaling vatbaar. Ik zou zeggen proef het zelf!

Heerlijk brood, koffie, gebak, lunches en ijs. Alles zelfgemaakt. Mooie inrichting. Supersfeer en dat komt niet alleen door die mooie inrichting dat komt ook door het supervriendelijke personeel. Ik kom hier meerdere keren per week en word hier echt blij van. Wat een aanwinst voor Vathorst!

Wees gewaarschuwd: als je eenmaal brood en gebak van deze bakkerij hebt ‘geproofd’ wil je niet anders meer. Is dat erg? Nee! Als levensgenieter/Bourgondiër ben ik zó blij met de komst van Proof Bakery en geniet ik elke keer weer van al het lekkers. Het is echt een aanwinst voor de wijk! Tip: probeer naast de reguliere broden eens de groentebroodjes, ciabatta of focaccia. Verder hebben ze heerlijke lunchgerechten, gebakjes(!) en ijsjes. Voor iedereen is er wel wat bij. En...ze hebben echt goede koffie, wat wil je nog meer?
