PROOST! Wageningen in Centrum

This is the best bar of Wageningen. Super well located, the drinks and snacks are excellent, and the owner and staff are the bestest: super kind, super helpful. I love the outside terrace and if the weather is nice, it’s the best spot ever. But the inside is also super cozy and modern! Love it!!

A perfect place to have some food or drinks! Really fast service and the guy behind the bar who helped us, was super friendly! I would totally recommend this place, you will not regret it! The atmosphere and decoration inside is also really beautiful and nice!🍋

Have drinks here every month with our association. A very pleasant place with a nice terrace both on the street side and at the back of the garden.

Proost is a very nice entertainment venue that gives you a living room feeling. Everything is possible and allowed. The outdoor terrace is now also open where you can enjoy a snack and drink. I definitely recommend Proost, and the owner Justin always knows how to make you happy. Atmosphere, experience and being yourself is the motto here. Propst is great.

Lovely lounge bar where you can sit and have a drink in an attractive space, call it a lounge setting. A big advantage is the enclosed terrace and the terrace at the front. Opposite one of the most important places in Wageningen, hotel de Wereld. In the evening you can just catch some sunshine on the front terrace. And because you sit at the back without any wind, you can enjoy a summer evening there for a long time. The wine is delicious and the steaks we had with it came in a well-filled container. There is now also an option for simple dining. Cocktails are widely available and are nicely shaken. In short, this summer we will try the vegetarian or vegan snacks and dinners again.

Some places just deserve all five stars hands down - and this is just such a place! The owner is kind and very helpful (we celebrated my girlfriend's PhD party here). The food's excellent, service is excellent, the place is cozy with the right combination of sitting places and tables to stand at to please everyone. We found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. If you are giving a party and want to have a great- and care-free experience, then look no further :-).

A very nice restaurant that invites you to have drinks and snacks, especially in the evening due to the cozy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, helpful and took the time necessary to explain/translate the different dishes to us. We recommend the large snack plate and the delicious cocktail selection.

This place is fantastic! Elegant, modern, cozy, and with absolutely wonderful staff. I had my PhD defence reception there and I was very happy with how it turned out. The owner, Justin, was very helpful and made everything really easy for me. Such a relief at the busy time of my defence preparation.

Had a drink here with 7 friends. Owner Justin is a real host who likes to make his guests happy. We will definitely come back here again!
