Excellent Spanish tapas for a Dutch restaurant, served with Estrella Galicia beer, and best of all, the two waiters were absolutely delightful. I'll definitely be back.

Qué Pasa Tapas is a lovely place to enjoy tapas in Maastricht. The food is delicious, there's a good variety, and the portions are perfect for sharing. Delicious, freshly made tapas. We had churos, croquettes, calamari, and tomatoes. Delicious. The waiter was a young, handsome, and very friendly Spaniard. I recommend it because it's worth it.

Typical Spanish cuisine, reasonable prices

The food was tasty, but the portion sizes in the set menus were too small. For €40 per person (for food only), I expected to go home full, but it was very minimal for 4 people. The patatas bravas and patatas aliñadas weren't very original, and 1 bocerón per person was also disappointing. I think the restaurant is run by a group of friends: the service was friendly, but I would only return if they offered double portions for the same price.

I cannot judge the quality of the food, as we didn't get that far. But the quality of the service is far below par. Even though the terrace was only half full, we failed to get their attention last night. After fifteen minutes of futile attempts, we looked for another terrace. What a shame!

A different dining experience outside the busy area of Maastricht. Good variety of Tapas we had the 6 cold tapas and 6 hot tapas for only €29 per person highly recommended.

During our visit to Maastricht, we passed this restaurant. It was nice to sit outside. The tapas were average in taste. The service was excellent. However, we felt the value for money was very poor. The tapas menu (€29) was charged twice. The portions didn't look like they were two.

We took the surprise menu! It was amazing and a lot of food. Sangria was also nice. Relaxed vibes.

While serving, oil was accidentally spilled on my jacket. The owner indicated that we would resolve this with the insurance. However, my emails about this are never answered. On the phone, they tell me I need to send an email. Very poor service.

I had dinner there yesterday and I must give a special shoutout to the service, which was top notch despite being super understaffed for such a busy evening, amazing! Food was nice and came out fast. They had some live music played by local band, so I highly recommend to visit on a Tuesdays for the great tunes.

Ended up here by chance while walking through Maastricht. Nice spot. Tasty tapas and drinks. The terrace is on the street, so cyclists and a few cars are part of the experience.

I've been to many tapas restaurants, and they were okay, but that's about it. Reasonable prices, decent portions depending on what was served, but the glasses of wine were a bit meager. I enjoyed the cold garlic puree; you think it's warm, but it's cold. 3 stars, it's okay, but there are plenty of others that score higher.

Slechte service en matig eten. Wij wilden met vrienden een hapje eten. Het was niet super druk maar moesten lang wachten. Meerdere gerechten werden vergeten, meerdere malen moeten vragen waar het bleef. Contact krijgen met de bediening was al een opgave op zich. Eén gerecht nooit gekregen maar stond wel op de rekening. Dit werd van de rekening gehaald met een mager excuus. Ik zou verder zoeken.

Nourriture plus que médiocre car tout était surgelé et fade. Aucune recherche dans la présentation ni dans les saveurs. Aucune envie de faire à manger correctement. Concept à tapas de moins on en fait mieux c’est. À noté que le serveur était quand même sympa.

We had a wonderful evening! The food is of good quality for a fair price and our gracious host Maria made our evening even more enjoyable!

We tried to be nice and understanding, but the ending of our visit was the cherry on top. The waiter charged us for bread that was not on the menu, and that we thought was a compensation for his mistakes. He charged us too much of the water; the price was more than in the qr-code menu he had given us. What was also unbelievable, was the fact that when we wanted to pay, he didnt give us the check/price breakdown, but just made us pay, telling us the total price and not the price break down. He didn’t give the receipt, until I asked for it and he asked me to take a picture of the receipt on the phone screen. Without asking I would have not known for this over charging. About the other things, the waiter kept messing up because he was not focused, and didn’t remember our order. The waiter brought me a dish that I had not ordered. He had mixed it up and then informed me that the dish I ordered was not available tonight. He asked, if I wanted something instead and after a while I told him which dish I wanted, he brought the one that had been sitting on the counter. When I asked for mayonneise, the least he could have done is given us that for a compensation after messing up my order and giving the dish that had been sitting. The waiter was also talking to his friends that were behind my back, while he was taking our order. We had taken a trip to this city, so at least he could not talk about it negatively. Hopefully for the future the restaurant will fix the teracce tables, so that they stand straight and glasses are not sliding from the tables.

Unexpectedly ended up in a Spanish atmosphere. Not only the atmosphere in the shop, but certainly the tapas, just like in Spain. As if you are on holiday in Spain again and dream away with authentic Spanish flavors. And as icing on the cake, Tuna Maastricht rehearses in the shop on Tuesday evenings and you will be treated to real Spanish guitar music and singing. Really highly recommended. We will definitely come back here.

I can only judge very little of the quality of the dishes, having ordered very little. On the other hand, I can attest to the great kindness of the staff! Smiling, friendly and very helpful! We needed to make change for parking. The location is very nice and quiet too, near the natural history museum, and a few steps from the first shops. Thanks again!

Delicious food and good sangria!

Que Pasa? I ordered calamari a la romana. Far too expensive (9.60 €: 6.50 + 3.10) considering the quality (the calamari looked bland) and the quantity (double what is shown in the photo, small plate) that I ate. Moreover, my Fanta was announced fresh on the menu and was actually at ambient temperature. Sorry, but not anymore. The negative comments really confirmed themselves.

Unfortunately I can only give 1 star on everything. Would have liked to eat and drink there because I really like tappas. Young clerk was rude, felt himself sitting very high and was very smart. Sitting for 15 to 20 minutes waiting for 2 drinks. When the “drinks” came we only got 1 because they were gone. Were offered an alternative, but before they brought it, the other drink was already gone. Then we paid and left. Don't wait another 20 minutes for a soda drink...

Well that was nice, a beer with tapas in the Maastricht sun, delicious on the terrace on the street, I don't understand why everyone sits around the corner in the shade, but oh well 😊 highly recommended, super nice service, nice and smooth and delicious Spanish 🇪🇸

Absolutely fantastic! Que Pasa is the best tapas bar in Maastricht. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The tapas were fresh, tasty and varied. The sangria is an absolute must. The interior is charming and really reminiscent of a traditional Spanish tapas bar. I can't wait to come back!

Excellent and speaks French, Spanish, Dutch, German but the service is really rubbish, the kitchens are visible, no net or cap, they talk to each other during preparation. Postillon for sure and if you like lipstick there is no on the glasses this Spanish restaurant bar is 10 meters from the university

Service was great, food was bad, tasted poor and there was no question of the serving. What also really bothered me was the hygiene: ice cubes for the drinks were taken out of the bucket with the fingers, the aioli sits there unrefrigerated in the plastic container by the open window. I just didn't have a good feeling about it.

On this rainy Easter Sunday afternoon I popped into this restaurant. The best thing I was served was the aioli with bread. Immediately after that came the ham and the garlic shrimps. Both dishes had little to no flavor and I didn't even finish the ham. When the waiter asked if I had enjoyed it, I replied: it was OK but not special. That didn't trigger him. One time for me but not again. I had hoped and expected more tasty food. Disappointing Past results are no guarantee for the present

A Culinary Catastrophe: Avoid at All Costs: Get ready for a culinary experience that'll make you wish you never left the comfort of your own home! QUE PASA is a monument to gastronomic incompetence and customer indifference. Let's kick things off with the ambiance, or lack thereof. It's as if they tried to recreate the gloom of an abandoned basement. The lighting is so dim you can barely read the menu, and the décor looks like it was salvaged from a dumpster dive. If you're seeking a cozy and inviting atmosphere, this is definitely not the place. The service is a spectacle of apathy. The waitstaff seem to have been recruited from a robotic emotionless training program. They show zero interest in attending to patrons and move at the speed of a snail on sedatives. Is it really too much to ask for a smile or an accurately taken order? Now, let's talk about the food, if you can even call it that. What was served to us was closer to reheated dog food than any dish worthy of a restaurant. The ingredients seemed to have been rescued from the bottom of a trash bin, and the presentation was so disastrous it was frightening. I won't even dare to comment on the taste because frankly, it was nonexistent. And to top it all off, the prices. Do they really think they can charge a fortune for such culinary garbage? It's downright insulting. There's no justification for the prices they're charging, unless they consider paying for a depressingly bad dining experience something worth indulging in. In summary, if you value your money and your sanity, steer clear of QUE PASA like it's a biblical plague. There aren't enough words to express how disastrous this place is. If you choose to ignore this advice and pay them a visit, prepare to deeply regret it and lament every single bite.

This Spanish restaurant made my day trip at Maastricht so much better! The service here is welcoming and the ambience is cozy. We ordered Sangria (€5) which was so refreshing and delicious. We also had marinated olives (€3) and Grilled mushrooms (€5). Both appetizers were very tasty.

Tijdens onze trip naar Maastricht was het vlakbij gelegen Natuurhistorisch Museum nog niet open. Het was ongeveer middag, dus besloten we in de buurt iets te gaan eten. We kwamen eerder toevallig bij Que Pasa terecht. Vertrouwd met de overheerlijke Spaanse keuken kozen we de 3 gangen Deluxe Tapas verrassingsmenu. Onze tafel stond al snel gevuld met lekkers (zie foto's). Na de tweede gang volgde de vraag of we voldoende gegeten hadden. De derde gang bestond uit verschillende desserts. Daar vinden we altijd nog een plaatsje voor. Het lekkere eten, gecombineerd met een zonovergoten terras en een vriendelijke bediening, maakten dit een zeer geslaagd etentje!

De bediening was alleen langs geweest voor de drank en had niet gevraagd of we tapas willen eten. Mevrouw van de bediening was erg kortaf, zei dat 'de menukaart voor m' 'n neus staat' terwijl de qr code naar een website verwijst met een gesplitste dranken en tapas kaart. Bijzonder onhandig als je steeds wat tapas wilt bestellen en je je telefoon ervoor moet uithalen. Menu bevat 2 huisgemaakte kroketten wat te denken geeft over de rest van de items op het menu.

I went there for the Inkom week. We were promised a lunch and a drink for 9 euros. Sadly, we only got a few patatas bravas and baguette with aioli. When I politely told the waiter that I have some feedback he was quite rude. Fortunately his colleague was nicer and pointed to the bigger variety of things on the menu. Overall it was a missed chance for them. Inkom week is a great marketing time, hence showing off what you can do would've been the way to go. Don't think I will be back any time soon. Neither will my friends:/ Good luck!

Mooie locatie en een fijne plek om 's avonds te genieten van Maastricht. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding scheef. Nu zijn tapasgerechten vaak van geknepen voor de prijs maar dit spant de kroon.

Wat een slechte zaak zeg. Menu met afkoop gehad, weinig eten (ineens kwam het dessert al terwijl we voor ons gevoel nog geen hoofdgerecht op hadden), koude kip ipv warm. Wat een slechte zaak zeg, ga hier niet eten.

Het was veel te duur voor de weinige slappe hapjes die je kreeg. Heel veel luidruchtige studenten. Slechte service. De service duurde heel lang, waardoor wij de trein hebben gemist. De serveerster zei ook dat ze geen tijd hadden om een cocktail te maken, wat in mijn ogen niet klopte. MUMC+ heeft nog beter eten. Conclusie ga hier alleen heen als je een brakke student bent en een maagverkleining hebt gehad.

Het eten was ongelofelijk lekker!! Alles wat wij bestelden was echt genieten. De bediening en eigenaar zijn onwijs vriendelijk. De plek is leuk om te zitten. Wij zijn dezelfde vakantie weer terug gegaan. Nieuwe favoriet in Maastricht! De churros zijn aan te raden :)

Portem 15 dies voltant per Holanda i després de dinar i sopar en diferents restaurants avui hem dinat a Que Passa! Ens ha encantat, el servei és molt ràpid i la qualitat del menjar es molt bona. El pà amb tomàquet, el pop, los pimientos del padrón, les croquetes cassolanes.. tot molt recomanable. Ens hem assegut a la terrasa i l ‘ambient és molt tranquil i agradable. Ens queden dos dies a Maastrich i tornarem segur. Felicitem a tot l’ equip, veritablement és un restaurant espanyol a Maastricht.

A few stars for the nice location and atmosphere, but the food really wasn't it. The photo shows part of the fish plate for two and I mean.... That really can't be it. If that's the fish you can offer you might shouldn't offer it all if you ask me. The food also wasn't presented very appetizing with literally zero dips or olives or anything alike and the sizes were also mediocre at best. Maybe the meat plates and tapas are better but I sure won't bother figuring it out...

Aangename verrassing. We werden aangetrokken door de typische Spaanse uitstraling. En ondanks dat vanwege Koningsdag veel uitverkocht was, toch heerlijk kunnen eten. Aanrader en komen zeker weer langs als we in Maastricht zijn!

Prima en gevarieerd eten. We deelden de hapjes met z'n vieren. Huisgemaakte sangria maakte het compleet. Zaak was nu nog beetje 'kaal' omdat de laatste hand nog gelegd moest worden aan een verbouwing. Dit weerhield ons er niet van om er te eten, kon makkelijk en zaak liep ook vol. Bediening was ook perfect, vriendelijk, enthousiast en met kennis van zaken. Aanrader.
