Real Food Plaza in Wijk 09 Leidsche Rijn

Real Food Plaza / Omar Fakidi and his catering team provided a fantastic meal for 11 people last Saturday. Everything was ready on time, as agreed. The quality was excellent, and the service was also very friendly. All our guests loved the vegetables, couscous, tagine, colorful salad, and chicken patties! Many thanks, it was a successful evening, and there was plenty of good quality food!

It's a shame this lovely food shop is only rated as a package deal. Because they have some really delicious food here. My favorite is the chicken or lamb tagine. Delicious when you don't feel like cooking but still want to eat healthy.

A very unreliable parcel point. They don't (ever?) adhere to their stated opening hours. You'll almost always find a closed door.

I didn't receive a message about where I could pick up my package. After emailing and calling DPD, it turns out the package was delivered to Real Food Plaza. DPD indicates that the package wasn't scanned by Real Food Plaza, so I didn't receive an email. However, the person who did scan it said he had. So there must have been a miscommunication somewhere. Very annoying.

Apparently, I'm not the first, and probably won't be the last, if DPD keeps this store as a collection point. What a bunch of disinterested and unmotivated people work here. They also disrespect the customers by simply ignoring them. If you don't want to hand out parcels, don't operate as a collection point! My advice: if you can avoid this store, do so, even if it means driving a bit further!

Even one star is too much for this store. The package was delivered (at 11:17 PM?), which I'm already questioning, after which they open and close whenever they feel like it. I've officially filed a complaint with DPD; apparently, they do accept packages to maintain their business model. Typical of the people you'd expect this from, unfortunately.

Edit: In the end, a family member also stood in front of a closed door 5(!) times before finally receiving her package. Real Food Plaza was closed during opening hours each time. Once, this elderly family member even stood in front of the closed door while employees were talking inside but didn't open the door. (This was also during opening hours.) Extremely disappointed. Previous review: Packages are virtually impossible to pick up because the store is unexpectedly closed during opening hours every time. I went there last week to pick up a package: the store was closed. Sunday and Monday, the store isn't open at all. I went there again Tuesday (today) to pick up the package: a note on the door stating that the store remains closed today. This simply makes it impossible to pick up a package. I count 31 reviews here that mention the same problem. Constantly driving to a parcel point that then turns out to be closed during opening hours is very inconvenient. Why does this store still function as a parcel point?

I walked in and looked at the meat with some hesitation. The lights weren't on, and the meat was a bit soggy. So, to double-check, I asked if the meat was currently being refrigerated because the lights weren't on in the refrigerated bins. The answer I got was, "What do you think?" That was enough for me to walk out. No food poisoning for me.

I'm not a huge GLS fan, but Real Food Plaza takes the cake. GLS has now tried to deliver the package three times during this store's normal opening hours. It's absolutely ridiculous that you're a GLS Parcel shop with this opening hours, especially considering the other reviews here. Unfortunately, rerouting the package with GLS hasn't been successful either... sigh.

That was a shame. I was just there to pick up 2 packages, but for no reason the store was closed, no one in sight. Knocked on the window and called by phone, but unfortunately no answer

Why are you a package point if you are not open during your self-specified opening hours. Be open to receive your packages from delivery, but not open if someone wants to pick them up. How BAD is this!!! Even 1 star is too much appreciation!!!

There were several times when the store was closed during opening hours and there was no notice. If you call the phone number, no one answers.

Excellent parcel point. I come here every week to pick up and drop off packages and have never stood in front of a closed door. If the opening hours differ due to holidays, they will hang a note on the door. Update: unfortunately still closed on Saturday morning while it should have been open for 20 minutes...

Friendly man, always open at the times when I pick up or drop off packages, about 20 times in total now. I wonder at what times everyone who writes in the reviews here says they were closed... I always have an open door, usually after work, around 5:30 PM.

Every time I have to pick up a package I have to call ahead to see if they are even open. Otherwise you are guaranteed to find yourself in front of a closed door. In addition, not assertive, cooperative or friendly at all. Just take a look in another pile to see if your package is there. Crappy package point, passable food.

Already stood in front of a closed door twice even though it said online that they were open. There was a note on the door that the opening hours differed, but it also stated that they were open even though there was really no one there.

Unprofessional parcel point. They open and close the store when they feel like it, regardless of opening hours. I had problems with two packages there with DPD.

Why do you accept packages when you close the store? If I had known this I would not have had my package delivered to you. Very unprofessional.

Same as others, I stood in front of a closed door during opening hours (I came to pick up a package). No note or the like. on the door, so no idea when they will be open. Phone number called, but was not answered. I'll try again today, because if I don't get my hands on the package soon, it will be returned.

Want to pick up package half an hour before closing. Shop already completely closed. Don't indicate that you close at 6 if you have already been gone half an hour (probably earlier).

Run by two very friendly gentlemen who can cook deliciously. We regularly pick up food from here, rarely have we had such a tasty takeaway for such a reasonable price. The meat and vegetables are also cheap.

came at 9:50 on Saturday and they were still closed. a gentleman outside told me they open after 11 or later.. on my next dpd package I'm gonna tell them not to take the order here
