Lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, beautiful wooded surroundings. Great for young children to play outside. It is not convenient for people with mobility issues because you have to go down the stairs to the toilets. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant with a lovely garden where children have a great time. The food is not interesting for vegetarians. The veggie burger is tasty, but the vegetarian Caesar salad is not vegetarian. We specifically asked for no anchovies, but the salad smelled and tasted like anchovies anyway. Upon inquiry, it turned out there were anchovies in the dressing. I felt that our comment about this was not handled well. No improvement was promised, and no one looked into whether anything could still be done to make amends. A shame.

We had dinner at the Rosarium last Friday. We were a group of 8 people. We were well received. The service wasn't all that great; a lot of young girls who aren't getting any guidance... I don't think the owners or the manager were there. One of us got the sea bream salad, but it was downright bad; the garlic prawns weren't good either, very disappointing. The desserts were decent, but the coffee tasted like nothing; even after mentioning it twice, it was still bad. All in all, very disappointing. If I could give a tip to the manager or the owner, this is the place to be!!!!!

0 stars 🚫 The owner is extremely unfriendly and arrogant! They sit there like wannabe entrepreneurs at their laptops! The flowers on the table are fake, like so much else in the place. In the end, it's just a mini-golf course, nothing more. I can't comment on the food; there wasn't much of a selection because of the hot weather, so we left! But most of the comments here speak volumes about the food. The owner was apparently afraid that one of the three customers there would be bothered by our 3kg dog, so we had to chain him to the table! You can immediately sense and see the arrogance; people like that shouldn't be allowed to open a restaurant! His response here will prove it! Just look at how he answers comments—simply unprofessional!

Cozy terrace and atmospheric inside as well. Surrounded by greenery. You can also play mini-golf there, and there is a large playground for the kids. You can also sit further away from the terrace. Menu with standard options, such as chicken satay, hamburgers, flamkuchen/pizza, and steak. Reasonable prices. Free parking. I think it can get very busy here on weekends. If you don't fancy that, go Monday through Thursday for a nice drink on the terrace in good weather. A pleasant place to be.

There should be more places like this! Delicious food and play for children in a wooded area. A beautiful and well-maintained mini-golf course with plenty of benches, lots of trampolines, and other play equipment. Many family restaurants focus on pancakes, but I'm glad this is an exception. I didn't find the food super expensive either. Although, of course, you do pay separately for playing. But personally, I'd rather pay a little more than go to another standard playground where they only serve fries. We will be coming here more often!

Although I read in other reviews that the owner has difficulty accepting criticism, simply as someone experiences it, I still dare to give my review here. Had a party here. The location of this restaurant is excellent, as is a beautiful and cozy terrace. There was a buffet at the party, but it was in the basement: up and down stairs if you wanted to eat your food outside (the weather was beautiful), absolutely not convenient! You could also eat your food in the basement next to the buffet, but there is a sort of canteen atmosphere there (not really cozy). I found the buffet itself minimal and nothing special in terms of quality (certainly for the price). The staff was inexperienced and also kept getting lost about who had ordered what (drinks), and struggled to handle this (i.e., finding a solution). This restaurant has many stairs up and down, so it is not accessible or poorly accessible for people with mobility issues or those in wheelchairs. Addendum in response to owner's comment: If there are so many satisfied customers, then I wonder why on earth you are getting so worked up about that one exception? Google Reviews is intended to reflect opinions/experiences. These are usually subjective perceptions, and nothing more than that. I am convinced that most review readers are perfectly aware of this and are also well capable of putting it into perspective, especially when there are many reviews for a company. You have a rebuttal for everything, and virtually not a single (somewhat negative) comment is correct (according to you). You are not, however, against this platform per se, since the positive reviews clearly do receive your approval. So, apparently, these guys are allowed to “feel entitled to put everything about your company” online, and you offer them no rebuttal. Furthermore, your response is based on incorrect assumptions, causing the rest of your subsequent response to make no sense whatsoever. All in all, it is clear from your response that you are a passionate entrepreneur with a heart for his or her business.

We had a great time, as always! We have been holding our family day at your place for years. Amazing terrace and super friendly service. We are always happy to be able to fall back on a private room, as the sun doesn't always shine. We have also spent almost the entire time inside playing games. Although the kids just went jumping on the trampolines in the rain. We hope to come again next year. And I read that some people find the stairs a bit of a hassle. Yes, it is difficult for some, but that is precisely the unique ambiance of this location. Not so straight and rigid.

The Parkhuys Rosarium in Doorn has become a household name for young and old in our family. Since our old grandma passed away, we celebrate 'Grandma's Day' there with our families from all corners of the world. My amazing sister, together with the Rosarium crew, arranges in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly. This has worked out well for several years in a row. Whether in rain or sunshine, we enjoy the facilities, the lovely terrace, and the fun sports and games on the grounds. This year we were lucky, with Feline among the waitresses, who took care of our lunch, snacks, and drinks with a smile and patience, and kept track of the orders! Compliments!

Wow. Beautiful place and good servers, but horrific customer service from the management. Unclear and conflicting information, lack of care for a hospitalised guest (didn't make any attempt to help us at all) and openly bickering with customers who spend 800euro on an afternoon. Drop in for a coffee, but beware any sort of functions.

The communication beforehand was pleasant, quick, and clear, which initially gave us a good feeling as we looked forward to our meeting at Parkhuys Rosarium. Because the weather was expected to be nice, I was asked the day before if we wanted to sit outside. According to the brochure, this was supposed to be an adjacent terrace. However, upon arrival, it turned out that the terrace did not directly border the private area, meaning guests had to walk up and down stairs to the buffet every time. We decided on the spot to leave it as it was because otherwise the tables would become very crowded, but for the elderly and pregnant women in the group, this was actually not practical. Unfortunately, this also became apparent during the meeting itself, when one of the guests hit his head hard on a protruding beam on the way to the buffet and subsequently fell into a pile of firewood. He sustained multiple open wounds in the process. A first-aid kit was brought and the location of the nearest GP post was looked into, but it felt disappointing that no further help or involvement was shown by the management. The buffet itself was nicely presented, but for a high tea of ​​€27.50 per person, we found the selection to be quite limited. There were sandwiches, some sweet treats, and scones, but the overall experience fell somewhat short of expectations for this price range. Additionally, we had informed them in advance, both by phone and email, that one of the attendees could not consume dairy products due to a cow's milk allergy. Ultimately, a lactose-free plate was served for this, which unfortunately turned out to be unsuitable because a cow's milk allergy is different from lactose intolerance. Finally, clear agreements had been made regarding the costs beforehand. It was indicated that use of the play facilities would be included with the buffet. It was also agreed that the four children present (out of a total of 19 guests) would order à la carte, as a high tea would likely be less suitable for them. However, it turned out afterwards that we still had to pay for both the use of the play facilities and for a private room that we actually barely used, as we spent most of our time on the shared terrace. When I tried to discuss this afterwards, I was simply told that the children had to pay for the play facilities because they had ordered à la carte. All in all, the experience was disappointing as a result. I think this could be a fine location for a family lunch, but for organizing a gathering for a larger group, I would personally consider a different location. -- Addition following response from owner; First of all, the email exchange clearly states that my question is not about a discount, but about the play wristbands that were charged. My question was therefore about a refund of costs that, in my opinion, were charged incorrectly. A brochure was indeed sent to me stating the following: 'Every room features an adjoining terrace. So, in good weather, you can enjoy sitting outside with your party.' and 'Use of our play facilities is included with every buffet. Therefore, no extra costs are charged for the minigolf, balance bikes, and trampolines. For clarification, I have also attached the brochure to this review. Finally, regarding the assumption that I would find the bill too expensive; if that had been the case, the 28 euros for the wristbands would naturally not have mattered. However, the point is that agreements were made in advance that were not honored, and regarding which no dialogue proved possible through mutual communication. My only wish now is to share my experience with others so that they can judge for themselves whether this level of hospitality and service is appropriate for the experience they envision.

We visited again today (by invitation but without prior notice) and had a positive experience. We had a delicious meal, a nice atmosphere, and the service was fine. We held our wedding reception, dinner, and party here last week. It was a beautiful day; the service was friendly, the food delicious, and the atmosphere great. The children could enjoy playing outside; the only sour note from them that day was when they had to go home. The staff even helped with the service at our home. Fantastic, fun location for a drink, especially if you can sit on the terrace. The food is inconsistent. A super good toasted sandwich was half the price of a tough and simultaneously soggy mozzarella sandwich. Tip: Be sure to mention that playing costs 10 euros if the children get a stamp. I didn't know that.

Last night, May 2nd, we celebrated our son's birthday at Parkhuys with 12 people. It was wonderful. We discussed everything with Koosje beforehand, and everything was exactly as planned, ensuring we had a fantastic evening. Great location, delicious food, and super friendly service. In short, we had a wonderful evening; this restaurant is highly recommended, and we would love to come back. Thank you.

A lovely spot where you can sit quietly with a book, both inside and outside, with delicious tea in very cute bags, while your kids jump on the trampoline outside! The food is simple and fine, so it is good for children too. What I found to be a downside was that the costs associated with playing were very high (it was the weekend). Eventually, these amounted to €30 for three hours of play for three children. That was quite a shock. Incidentally, playing is free on weekdays, so it is much more fun to eat, read, or play here then.

Stopped in for an afternoon snack and drink on a brisk but dry, lazy Sunday afternoon walk around the castles. Had the loaded nachos and a Pepsi. Nachos came out of the oven so nice to have a warm snack. It was ok. Being that it was cold outside we sat inside where the service also tended to stay. Was surprised at the warm and gezellig inner ambiance and space. Lots of space and corners in all directions. Made you wanna stay for a while. Lots of place outside as well including playground area and mini golf. There was parking for bikes and cars as well.

We celebrated our wedding at this amazing venue on March 20th. The preparations went wonderfully smoothly. Niki and Koosje are professional and flexible in their approach. Everything we wanted was possible. The ceremony setup was cozy and atmospheric. The food and drinks are really excellent; there is a wide selection and they are of very high quality. The service is incredibly fast and friendly. The chefs did an incredibly skillful job preparing dinner for 65 people at once. We had a wonderful time dancing. In short, FANTASTIC. The vegan burger and salmon were delicious. There were plenty of gluten-free options. The restaurant's atmosphere was also good; there are separate areas for people with and without children. We only had to ask for the menu ourselves, and the staff never asked if we wanted any extra drinks.

Beautifully situated and the atmosphere is wonderful. Not too many tables, so it feels very cozy, especially with the fireplace. The staff is very friendly, and it's great that dogs are welcome. The only point of criticism is the dessert; we ordered a Dame Blanche, but we received two small scoops of vanilla ice cream and a small amount of chocolate sauce on the side. And all that for €7! We had completely different expectations. Served in a beautiful tall sorbet glass with a variety of ice creams and topped with whipped cream. After a lovely walk, it's wonderful to enter the beautifully decorated, warm Rosarium, where we receive a warm welcome. The seating is comfortable by the stove. The atmosphere is pleasant. The waitress takes our order, and when the coffee and tea arrive, she puts down the tray and leaves. She's purely functional, taking and delivering orders. We can't figure out who has what in which mug; flat white, cappuccino, latte...it all seems the same. We call a waitress, and then we divide it ourselves. Oops...where's the sugar? I'll just get it myself. Then comes lunch: a delicious midday snack, satay, delicious fries... Compliments to the kitchen. Service tip: a smile, a "good afternoon," when you take dishes from the table, be efficient about taking everything away, and ensure a pleasant guest experience.

Yesterday, after a walk, we spontaneously popped in to warm up with a hot drink. The Christmas lunch buffet had just ended. The dog was welcome to join us, and we were able to sit in a cozy corner. Coconut macaroons were served with the coffee. Upon inquiry, it turned out they were unfortunately not gluten-free. But before we knew it, an entire gluten-free tiered stand, left over from lunch, was placed on the table. How incredibly kind and... delicious!! In short, top service, delicious food, wonderful drinks, and a great atmosphere!

Great place for drinks, great for the kids to play. Everything is well-maintained and tidy, but I wouldn't eat there. The wait was very long, and unfortunately, it wasn't worth it. The food was truly terrible. I've never had such a bad Caesar salad. The lettuce was cut too thickly, half of it was just large chunks of old breadcrumbs, there wasn't much sauce, the chicken was dry and overcooked, and it was really not enough for a main course. The chicken satay isn't recommended either; the chicken wasn't tasty here either. The pancakes weren't very good either. The snacks were fine, and the bittergarnituur (bittergarnituur) and nachos were delicious. So, super fun and good for drinks, but I'd look for a different place for dinner. Maybe just too busy for the kitchen? The staff is also very friendly, parking is right outside, the location is fantastic, the terraces are beautiful, spacious, and the playgrounds, mini golf, and trampolines are all well-maintained.

During the evening itself, everything was perfect: the food and drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our guests also told us how impressed they were with the hospitality. We look back on this day fondly and will definitely be back for drinks and snacks. Highly recommended!

Eating out in Doorn again. Beautiful weather, so we went to the Rosarium outdoor terrace. Friendly service, my wife had a great salad, but my satay was disappointing. The meat itself was a bit overcooked and even slightly burnt. The vegetables and salad were very limited. Maybe just bad luck? Friendly service, nice atmosphere.
