Cozy restaurant, Tuesday is spareribs day so we went on Tuesday. Large portion with delicious tender spareribs, salad, fries and sauce. There is also enough choice of other dishes. You feel like you are on vacation because of the cozy music. Free parking in front of the door We will definitely come back again!

Nice restaurant with very friendly staff, there was a high chair available for my daughter! I ordered the spareribs and chose the hot variant, the taste was very good but for me (personal preference) it could have been a bit spicier. The portions were good but could have been a bit bigger for me. All in all, definitely a restaurant to come and eat again

Ate here with a colleague. When we arrived, 2 tables were occupied, but after about 45 minutes we were the only ones with more than an hour to go until closing time....... There was a very uncomfortable atmosphere and the service was not pleasant. Although it was a great piece of meat from the charcoal grill, I will not go here a second time. The chef is the only one allowed to go to the next round.

The food was good, but the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. We were the only guests in the restaurant, and yet the waiter was remarkably unfriendly. He seemed to be very annoyed by our children, while no one else was present. His attitude was downright rude and inappropriate. Despite the good quality of the food, the atmosphere was very unpleasant. We therefore strongly doubt whether we will ever come back here.

Argentina is a restaurant that has been in Maarssen for as long as I can remember. The restaurant has a cozy family atmosphere, and it is my favorite restaurant for an informal meal with friends or neighbors. Prices have gone up a bit in the last few years, but they are still worth it for your money. The decor is dated, but cozy and familiar. For a meat lover, and especially meat prepared on charcoal, this is the place to go in Maarssen and the surrounding area. I hope the restaurant will be around for a long time, at least they can count on my customers.

The tastiest spareribs! No messing around, no stuck meat on the bone. Wonderfully seasoned, sweet or slightly spicy. I cannot judge the other products. I've been here several times now and always choose the spareribs because I don't find them as tasty anywhere else as here. However, I find the carpacio as a starter a bit boring in terms of taste. I personally wouldn't order this again.

Na een lange tijd weer eens samen met mijn vrouw daar gegeten eten was redelijk/goed Bediening liet te wensen over netjes een tafel toegewezen gekregen de medewerker gaf direct aan dat de spare ribs op waren zou een uur duren heb aangegeven dat we daar niet voor kwamen en zouden een kaart krijgen Drank werd netjes gebracht maar geen kaart Kwartiertje later komt meneer terug u wacht toch op de spare ribs om mee te nemen 🙈 Weer aangegeven dat ik van de kaart wil bestellen en wat stokbrood vooraf na 45 minuten eindelijk stokbrood en een bestelling opgenomen na nog 30 minuten kwam het eten ik had om de steak gevraagd komt meneer hier is uw entrecote aangegeven dat ik die niet besteld heb neemt hem weer mee komt terug en zegt o het is toch de steak had het niet goed gezien Daarna Koffie met een likeur besteld komt hij met een France Koffie weer geef ik aan dat heb ik niet besteld maar ok Ga afrekenen staat er 2x mand stokbrood op ipv 1 en voor de rest nog een paar foutjes Heb nog tijdens het afrekenen gevraagd over de koffie met likeur waarom ik dat niet gehad heb antwoord we doen dat altijd zo dan moet u zeggen dat er geen slagroom op moet Eens maar nooit meer

After a long time I ate there again with my wife food was reasonable/good Service left much to be desired, was neatly assigned a table, the employee immediately indicated that the spare ribs were finished and would take an hour. I indicated that we were not there for that and would receive a card. Drinks were brought neatly, but no menu Fifteen minutes later the gentleman comes back, you are still waiting for the spare ribs to take away 🙈 Indicated again that I wanted to order from the menu and some baguette in advance. After 45 minutes I finally got a baguette and an order was taken. After another 30 minutes the food arrived. I had asked for the steak. Sir, here is your entrecote. Indicated that I did not order it. He takes it back and says oh, it is the steak after all. I did not see it properly. After that I ordered a coffee with a liqueur and it came with a France Coffee. Again I indicated that I did not order it but ok When you go to checkout, it says 2x baguette basket instead of 1 and a few other errors During the checkout I asked about the coffee with liqueur why I didn't have it, the answer is that we always do it that way, then you have to say that there should be no whipped cream on it. Once but never again

I've been coming here for years. The meat is delicious. The spare ribs are very tender and the tenderloin is just as good. Unfortunately, they have had an older male waiter for about a year now who speaks limited Dutch and who always manages to screw something up. Today unfortunately the last straw was by purchasing an extra menu instead of an extra portion of spare ribs, something was said about this during payment and they simply said well, you should have passed it on better. This was the last time for me anyway!

Starters and desserts not recommended. However, the main courses were great, grilled on charcoal..

Had a lovely steak, returned home with a stuffed belly.

Food was very tasty. But the eye also wants something. The ice creams were thrown onto the plate in no time and I had to indicate how I wanted my steak and what side dish I wanted with it. We were also not asked for sauce or how you would like your steak cooked. Unfortunately for us, it's more something to take home with us than sitting there and eating it.

I had dinner here with my girlfriend and it was super tasty alone. Within an hour we were asked twice if we were ready, but they saw that we were still eating and within an hour our food was taken without asking. It was not nice and we could not eat there in peace and it was not even busy and we had made a reservation it was before 8 o'clock, everything didn't close until 10 o'clock, which was a shame because it was a bix grill and it was deet and for someone with a religious residence, 85 is a lot of money. And it wasn't fun, keep that in mind next time. The food was great.

Spareribs are highly recommended, much better than the SR.Express so get them here especially on Tuesdays.👍🏽

A household name on the Pieter de Hooghplein for many years with delicious authentic Argentinian dishes and spicy meat. We took chipolate sausages in advance, nicely seasoned and served with a delicious sauce. In my opinion, it could have used some sausage, but the quality is very good. As a main course we had the T-bone steak, which was wonderfully tender and perfectly cooked. The inside was still deliciously red while the outside was perfectly grilled. In addition, the fat percentage was quite low, which meant there was more red meat but the taste of the fat was not lost. It was approaching perfection this evening! When we asked for dessert, the kitchen was actually already closed, but our waiter found a delicious brownie cake which we devoured with gusto. The meat here is of extremely good quality, especially considering the standard price (not too high but not very cheap either). The classic and slightly old-fashioned appearance certainly adds to the experience and it is definitely worth a visit!

A TOP LOCATION if you stop in Maarsen. Their Argentinian wine 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I took the tenderloin from the house, my husband the tenderloin 300gr, my parents-in-law chose the grill mix and the salmon. And all 4 dishes were finished. DELICIOUS. Service FANTASTIC. If we come to Maarsen again, we know where to go 😃😃😃😋😋😋

We had a nice meal, we were at a quiet time and the food was ready quickly. There is a salad bar which was fine. Nice location, good parking in the parking lot in front of the door. Cheerful and friendly staff, except for one waiter, who happened to take our order, didn't ask how we cooked our steak and quickly walked away, so we didn't even get a chance to say anything about sauce or anything... otherwise everything was fine, We had a delicious meal and I definitely recommend the restaurant.

I often go to this restaurant to get spare ribs, they are often good. Less so last Tuesday But what I am most dissatisfied with is that they dare to charge 0.75 euro cents for a cardboard bag This never happened. Thought I would only pay for plastic, 0.10 euro cents at various restaurants So people don't be shocked that you pay more.

We ate here on a weekday, we were early so we were the only ones in the restaurant. But surprised that it was quite full later. The restaurant is a bit dated inside, and the tables are a bit cramped together. Staff were very friendly. Too bad there was no juice such as apple juice or something for the kids. (Orange juice only). We had starter and main course. For baguette with herb butter, it's nice that you can choose for 1 person. The herb butter had little flavor, tasted like butter with green bits in it. The chicken wings were delicious and so was the mini taco, which was only slightly drier. As a main course we had the spare ribs promotion on Tuesday. They had a good taste but were also a bit dry. And the pork tenderloin, it was tender and delicious. The fries were fried in old fat, which was hard and a lot of fat was absorbed. So we didn't eat that much. It seems very negative, but we don't mean it that way. We had a great evening and a great meal. We will definitely come back someday, but we didn't have the wow effect. Great food if you are in the area.

The service was deplorable. Ordered a dish without cheese, there are still remains of cheese on the plate because they removed it by hand. The steaks for the main course were still raw. In other words, a dramatic dinner for far too high a price.

Oh dear! Ate here with 5 people because my father turned 64. After returning home, my brother and I suffered from severe stomach complaints for 3 days. I also emailed the restaurant but received no response. We did enjoy the food; both empanadas and the "combination" as a main course. Personally, I think it's a shame not to receive any feedback, which is why I don't recommend the restaurant. We won't go back.

Ate here yesterday, drinks arrived quite quickly. Starter was okay, not very great. Main course we had the ribeye and the mix of meats. Unfortunately, you are not asked how you would like your meat and there is no sauce such as pepper sauce, etc. The meat was unfortunately very dry and therefore not very tasty. The Argentinian sausages, on the other hand, were very tasty.

Ate three times with friends because it was close to home, the food was not good and when I made a comment about it I received an unfriendly answer. Only at checkout was I told that I would receive credit for the next visit, never again.

Heerlijk gegeten in dit restaurant. We hadden een Tomahawk Steak van 700 gram, deze was perfect medium gebakken. Als toetje hadden we een bananensplit, en die was goed. Bediening deed er alles aan om het naar ons zin te maken. Toilet is schoon en we hebben er met plezier gegeten. Zeker een aanrader als je in de buurt bent. Restaurant heeft prettige sfeer.

Delicious food during Christmas. Tender steak, fresh dishes. Quick service. Handy lamp on the table that turns red when you turn it over and someone will come to your table as quickly as possible. Best steakhouse in the area! The spearibs are also delicious by the way!

Ordered 3 best steaks and all 3 were full of fat and tendons, this was indicated but nothing was done with it.. it was impossible to chew through. but gave it back because it was not edible.. unfortunately no compensation or anything else was offered and fully included in the bill, then stated it again and again nothing was done with it. Never going again!! Bad service

Delicious food. Independent entrepreneur. Father and son are the owners. Beforehand I had the sausages with barbecue sauce. Main course the Argentinian lomo 300gr medium fried. Top prepared. Attentive and fast service. The other table guests also enjoyed their meal, including the carpaccio and salmon with toast. They also had the lomo 300gr. Dessert menu could be a bit more challenging.
