Beautiful spot at the Koemarkt, great seating. Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. The Tom Kha Kai soup was very disappointing. The flavor was fine, but it contained two rings of spring onion and three pieces of bean sprouts. Without the bread, I didn't think it was worth €8.50.

Located on the cozy Koemarkt, and a fixture in the city for five years now, this restaurant always manages to surprise us—today again *off the menu*. We opted for a special creation: **beef teriyaki with beetroot**. The presentation was a work of art: meticulously cared for down to the last detail, colorful, and with an eye for detail. A feast for the eyes and the taste buds. As a second course we enjoyed the **fish trio**, shrimp, eel and tuna, this combination set the tone with its refined flavors. The service certainly deserves a compliment: friendly and attentive and which created a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. In short, an evening that leaves you wanting more. At Restaurant 12 they know what hospitality and quality mean—a must for anyone looking for a culinary gem in 😄🍴✨

I had already eaten outside on the terrace but then had a cold croquette, but last night it made up for it completely. The carpaccio and satay were delicious and the staff super friendly. It has a friendly atmosphere, although it is a bit cold from the door, but definitely try it.

This restaurant continues to impress. Although it had been a while since I was here, the owner still knew exactly what my preferences are. The food is always of high quality and prepared with care, and that personal attention makes the experience extra special. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good food and excellent service!

Best restaurant in Purmerend. Here they still understand what service is. Whether you want to quickly eat a satay or burger or want to enjoy an extensive dinner for an evening, this is all possible. The food is of very high quality and the service is all equally friendly and service-oriented.

Meerdere keren hier gegeten. Personeel is altijd vriendelijk en denken mee. Ik neem vaak een voorgerecht en een ander voorgerecht als hoofdgerecht, omdat ik niet zo een grote eter ben en dit is nooit een probleem. De gerechten zijn mooi opgemaakt en de smaken van de gerechten zijn goed bij elkaar gecombineerd. Ook een leuke plek om te lunchen.

eating the shrimp was good, the fries were great, but the beef spoiled it, it was raw inside, you couldn't eat it, but the food was very nice and the waiters were nice and funny, that's all, now I have to survive like 14 hours in the toilet after eating so much beef.

Leuk personeel en gezellig plekje eten was lekker je kreeg alleen niet veel voor je geld ( 1 belegd broodje ) De cocktails en biertjes zitten echt in mini glaasjes en zijn hierdoor best prijzig.

High level food, everything homemade. From the steak tartare to the tournedos, perfectly made and with attention to detail. You can see that there are people in the kitchen who enjoy presenting something beautiful and delicious. Service is also very nice. Have a chat, pay close attention without being pushy. We really enjoy eating here. The deserts are also very tasty.

Lunch: unfortunately the noon hour could not be adjusted without fish. Dietary requirements.... unfortunately!. Then opted for the carpaccio sandwich with aged cheese from Beuse. This is 1 slice of bread with (very) a lot of arugula and not enough flavor. Sorry but for €13 I expected better. Service is so, so. The place was otherwise empty (we were 5 people) and there was no staff to be seen. This is the 2nd bad experience for me, I don't see them there anymore. A shame because it looks beautiful.

Tonight we had dinner at 12. The food was very good, but it was impossible to have a conversation because probably some of the Vannieuwkerke local football club were present. The service or owner must act on this. Too bad.

The weather was lovely, so we had lunch outside on the terrace. The staff also left us alone, without asking every time if we liked it or if we wanted something to drink. Just a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Super tasty food and very friendly staff. Simply deserved the highest rating. There were 3 of us and 1 stroller. Upon arrival, the door is opened, which immediately gives you a welcome feeling. Even though the whole place was full, we never went without a drink. I love that. Warming up a bottle for the little one is no problem, despite no microwave, but we will arrange that with the neighbors. Ohhh there is only 1 mocktail on the menu and my daughter doesn't like tonic... no problem, we make 1 outside the menu. What flavors do you like? The result was a delicious fresh, sweet mocktail. Oh and beer from Brouwerij het Ij on tap. Definitely a plus. Great service. The food was also really great. Highly recommended if you want to eat out.

Bij binnenkomst was ik niet direct overtuigd. Het ziet er eenvoudig uit ( op zich een plus hoor, lekker ontspannen). De sfeer was ook super ongedwongen . Maar wat een toprestaurant, het eten was zeker niet eenvoudig. Heerlijke en bijzondere gerechten. Geweldige wijnen. Snel gaan kijken en proeven.

Ate a tuna salad sandwich and a cup of fresh ginger tea. The sandwich contained plenty of tuna salad, but I would have liked a second sandwich. The tea was delicious with fresh ginger slices, just enough. Lovely sat outside in the sun.

Nice place for lunch...highly recommended! Delicious sandwiches, friendly employees and a nice atmosphere. Although most lunch dishes are reasonably priced, I think the price of the green salad with goat cheese, served without bread for €17.50, is disproportionate.

Amsterdam with its immense amount of restaurant choices, is an easy few minute drive away- but my goodness, this place is really worth staying in Purmerend for! I’d gladly eat here everyday! It rises above anything I’ve eaten before in Amsterdam!

Nice terrace, comfortable chairs, excellent and friendly service. Coffee was sub-top but there was a nice piece of Toblerone. Coffee is not really cheap by Purmerend standards.

Horrible experience. On a Saturday evening we went there and got seated to have some coffee and desserts. Then the waitress tells us usually people order dinner now so either have dinner or in other words leave. That is no way to treat your customer once they are seated. No respect, so rude. Never going there again and also shared this with friends and family so won’t go there either anymore.

What a nice place. We went twice in one week to this nice restaurant. Dining and wining is so nice here. The staff is very kind and helpful. The quality of the food is good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. The restaurant is located on the “Koemarkt” which contributes to the total experience. Definitely a must go when you are around Purmerend.
