When we eat at Kozee we often choose the All in menu. The dishes and matching wines are fantastic. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Purmerend!

Heerlijk (a la carte) gegeten. Correcte vriendelijke bediening. Het voor en nagerecht waren verrassend en het hoofdgerecht (zeewolf en kalfsoester) goed bereid. Alleen wat een lawaai in het vol geboekte restaurant. Moeilijk elkaar nog te verstaan. Verwacht dus geen romantisch candlelight dineetje. Daarom 3 ipv 4 sterren. Jammer. De keuken en bediening zijn goed. Voor €160, ( 2x3 gangen met 5 wijntjes en een fles water), mag je verwachten rustig te kunnen dineren.

In one word: enjoyed it. Delicious dishes, good wines, pleasant service and a nice atmosphere. It was great!

The Chef/food is excellent and without a doubt the best in Purmerend. Staff are lovely but not always totally professional. Other places are nicer in terms of atmosphere but the food outshines all. Consistently.

Kozee is a good place to have a big meal for a good price and quality. Recommended, but make a reservation!

An excellent surprise menu supported by excellent wine. Aron the waiter served us in the right way. His knowledge about the cheeses that Kozee has on the trolley is special. As a customer you make the choice yourself and Aron tells about the origin of cheese and its properties. Eating at Kozee is a party. 🙏

This restaurant ticks all the boxes; good food, great ambiance, friendly staff. Highly recommended if you're looking for a dinner where all aspects need to be fabulous.

Really delicious food. Culinary but at reasonable prices. Great wine too. Four years later now. The food becomes a bit too artificial. Tasty, but too complicated. The wine list is fantastic. Still a nice place to have lunch, even if you have to wait a while for the next course. Today, August 10, 2024, we had lunch with beautiful weather. It was exceptionally tasty and very tasty. Delicious wine with it. We had a really beautiful and delicious lunch. Top!

Culinary at the Koemarkt. Both the Signature menu and a-la-carte: beautiful dishes, with a wonderful balance of flavors. Optional with wine pairing, also for the BOB. Changing monthly menu. Surprising. A very positive experience in the heart of Purmerend. We had the following menu: Sea bass briefly roasted with sea bass tartare, avocado, pak choi, coconut and smoked paprika sauce and crispy fried chipirones Coq au vin with carrot, celeriac and pearl onions marinated in red wine and fried bacon Dover sole with beurre blanc of langoustine and various structures of cauliflower Selection of cheeses from the cheese cart with jam and crispy raisin bread Dutch strawberries with rhubarb, curd with mint, ginger ice cream and yellow custard from Jersey cows.

I went with a friend who happens to be a highly appreciated chef himself. We were both pleasantly surprised by the beautiful dishes, one course after another. Paired with elegantly selected wines that came with a spot-on description from the friendly and very knowledgable staff. It's not whether I will return, it's only a matter of when.

Had a delicious meal at Kozee tonight. Opted for the chef's 4-course menu. Our wishes were listened to carefully and the food was excellent. The accompanying wine pairing paired nicely with the dishes. We personally would have put a little more courage into the white wine. But personal taste may differ. The service was nice and personal. Met Kerst hier gegeten voor de 2e keer. Enorm genoten van een perfect bereid 5 gangen diner en de lekkerste wijnen. Wij komen uiteraard weer terug. Kwaliteit!

Can really recommend Kozee! It was pure enjoyment of high-quality, refined and tasty dishes and excellent service. We opted for a 4-course dinner. Do not choose yourself, but a menu devised by the chef. You can absolutely rely on the chef's qualities and you will be positively surprised! Subtle appetizers and light torn bread between dishes and everything at a pleasant time. Champagne & chosen red wine from Fleurie were delicious! Sitting by the window in the restaurant by candlelight. For us it was the perfect ambiance for a special occasion. Nothing but praise! We will definitely come back.

We celebrated Menekse’s 50th birthday with a nice diner at Kozee. We chose the 4 course tasting menu including wine pairing. We both liked the food that was served. Also the creativity applied on the vegetarian dishes was outstanding. The combination with carefully selected wines led into a wonderful experience. During our dinner a candle holder caught fire at the entrance. I threw it out on the terrace and as appreciation the staff gave us a round of free drinks. Definitely a place to go to.

Wat hebben we genoten van jullie signature menu! Fantastische smaken, creatief en mooi gepresenteerd. Ik ben jaloers op jullie arsenaal aan borden! We werden hartelijk ontvangen en de hele avond verwend met super lekkere gerechten en bijpassende wijn. Hartelijke ontvangst en enthousiast personeel met perfecte kennis van de gerechten die ze opdienden en de wine pairing. We vonden het er zó lekker dat we twee dagen later teruggekomen zijn voor de lunch. Andere gerechtjes, even subliem! Bedankt om van onze verjaardag een culinair feest te maken. Ware het niet dat we 300km ver wonen, we zouden stamgasten zijn!

Delicious food! We had an All-Inclusive package. 6 course menu, wine pairing with table water and coffee at the end. What a nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Nice and interesting explanation about the wines that were served. These were all very well combined and matched the food. We were very surprised. Recommended!

You can eat delicious food in Purmerend, especially at Kozee. We took the six-course dinner 'August'. Each course was special and delicious, but I personally liked the duck breast the best. Excellent, professional and personal, friendly and relaxed service. We had a wonderful evening at Kozee, it costs a bit, but then you really get something!

I can't say anything else. If you're looking for a star experience but without the star wallet, this is the place to go!

Actually it's worth 10 stars. We had a vegetarian menu, so every dish was a surprise. Beautifully prepared and everything was delicious. Recommended! For vegetarian people, but certainly also for non-vegetarians.

Not too big a pipela restaurant where you can sit comfortably. Nice and attentive service. Amuse of pork belly very tasty. Then pre-intermediate and main a la carte. The chaff mouse with tuna mayo and sweetbread croutons was particularly impressive. But not every dish was a hit. It was thoughtful that friandises were brought to the table after one of us reported that the lasgna was a bit disappointing. Had a nice sauvignon blanc. Good!

Aangenaam ingericht restaurant. De ruimte achterin, met de meeste tafels, in een langgerekte ruimte .. geeft een beetje het idee of je in een treinwagon zit te eten. Niets mis mee. Vriendelijke bediening, die desgevraagd goede wijnadviezen geeft. Kaart .. à la carte of "verrassingsmenu". Dat laatste concept heeft inmiddels culinair Nederland overspoeld .. jammer en wat kinderachtig. Dus à la carte gegeten. Mooie amuse van buikspek met hoisin .. altijd lekker. Voorgerecht kalfsmuis met zwezerikcroutons en tonijnmayo heerlijk, zou van die croutons wel een diep bord vol willen. Tussengerecht gebakken eendelever oké .. ik proefde de beloofde truffel niet. Daarna uitstekend gebakken kalfsentrecote .. helaas al flink afgekoeld geserveerd, wsl op niet voorverwarmd bord, hetgeen de begeleidende saus geen goed deed. Al met al .. prettig adres, koken kan men, voor herhaling vatbaar. Doorlooptijden kunnen iets beter.

After cycling all day at a temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, we felt like drinking cold water and eating a nice meal. Initially we had reserved a table at another restaurant, Spijkerman in Purmerend. However, there we decided to leave after waiting 25 minutes for the menu, despite there being at least four waiters working. Without a reservation we ended up at Kozee restaurant, where only one waitress worked on the terrace and the terrace was full. The waitress was very friendly and took our order immediately when we arrived. She gave us the menu and asked what we wanted to drink. Within a short time we received fresh juices in wine glasses :), and we didn't have to wait more than 30 minutes for our order. The oysters were great! The appetizer dish brought about a taste revolution, the oysters were delicious and our entrecotes and steaks were perfectly grilled and served. I highly recommend this place because what we got on our plates convinced us that the restaurant and kitchen are run by people with passion and love for cooking and for their customers.

Erg lekker gegeten. Voor mij het beste eten in Purmerend. Bediening goed en vriendelijk en niet opdringerig. We zaten op het terras wat heerlijk verwarmd werd. Café ernaast was druk. Dus volgende keer kies ik daarom voor binnen eten.

Je verjaardag vieren bij kozee dan is het pas echt een feest met 13 familieleden aan één lange tafel geweldig . De bediening is vakbekwaam vriendelijk en zeer oplettend. Het eten en drinken elke keer weer een verrassing. Combinatie van eten en wijn fantastisch.

Very nice staff, but vegetarian food not at the level you would expect from this segment. Later contacted the owner. She agreed that they were indeed taking on this as a new challenge. So that's positive. We were invited to come and review it again. Kudos for the handling! 2 months later. Meanwhile, the revenge and how. Delicious food and the wine arrangement as it should be. We will definitely come back here. A company that handles a review so positively, takes ownership and proves that they indeed have what it takes, cannot be anything but praised. We went "all in", so 6 courses including matching wines. Everything was great and I thought the wine matched the food well. Service was spontaneous. Timing between dishes also good, never felt like I was waiting. Some dishes you could find in a star tent and some were just below that level. The price is at the level of a 1-star restaurant (pre-COVID anyway) but that didn't spoil the fun. We enjoyed it very much!

Very tasty food, we went for the all-inclusive. 6 courses with matching wines. Highly recommended. They take into account allergies or if you don't like eating something. Service was nice and smooth.

Wonderful kitchen that impressed us time and again. One of those rare cases where you think back and conclude that ALL of the courses were off-the-charts good. I suspect the waiter is their sommelier as he chose the wines perfectly at our hints. Very pleasant and relaxed location, and staff was exceptionally warm, engaging and friendly. We took the three course lunch but decided we wanted the extra course, because scallops, taking wine as per suggestion from the waiter. This is fine dining, even though situated in the vibrant market place next to other restaurants and terraces. The amuse were vegetarian loempias with steak tartare with a bit of truffle Mayo and some cashew crumbs- went extremely well with the Cava that had a rich nose and spicy peppery kick. What was undersold as “Kalfsmuis” I would rebrand as Vitello Tonnato 3.0, as it came with lots of nice twists, sure the tuna mayo was there and subtle, but the fried capers were a nice twist, as were the mushrooms, but wait - sweetbread? Is that subtly grilled tuna on top? This is not your average Vitello Tonnato, nor is it “just” Kalfsmuis, this woah was something special to finish our cava with. Next up, with my spouse taking on a New Zealand Chardonnay with deliciously oaky tones as per request, the option for me was setting the scene for my main dish with lam, so waiter-sommelier popped the cork on a mini bottle of Beaujolais-villages, with the option to drink it per glass and have to say, we landed there as we asked for the scallops to go in between as afterthought and did not regret. Both wines were on par with the courses, where my spouse was going for halibut so opted white. The 2017 red had been bottled and looked like a mean Bordeaux with deep deep reds, but was surprisingly supple and rich in red fruits. According to our friendly waiter, courtesy due to the bottling in the smaller bottle which helped the tannins to subside. Both were excellent with the scallops. Simple, two, not three scallops. But again: black garlic sauce was perfect, and so were the tiny roses of cauliflower that were extremely tasty, and again a perfect addition with carrots and mushrooms that were clearly deliciously prepared in butter to make for a firm yet umami inspired bite on the dish. What looks like sauce hollandaise, actually wasn’t that, as it had some saffron added and hinted vaguely and pleasantly at a structure implying more than eggs and vinaigrette and oil at play here. In any other restaurant I’d decline the ansjovis, but was informed only its belly side were used and indeed - wow - what a way to salute up those tender scallops again. Don’t miss this dish. Another woah moment. As my spouse doesn’t like the taste of lam, she requested an alternative and the halibut she was offered sat on the bed of beans, a chutney like preparation of pickled tiny onions, and green asparagus. For a second I had food envy but that was gone the moment my generous helping of lam chops arrived. In my case the same tasty bed of veggies and sweet fried parsnip and a thyme infused gravy to go with the chops. Both our wines were an excellent adornment to these dishes. Last up was a classic french dessert, with freshly baked puff pastry layers and surprising us yet again with different takes on classic approach, yes scoop of ice with bits of crumbs below it, yes pastry cream with cinnamon apple chucks inside, and oh very nice and light and tasty flurry cream on top, with deliciously strong red fruit sauce drops and halved blackberries. Simply exquisite!

Delicious pure food. Hospitable service. Beautifully laid tables with linen. If you just want satay with fries, etc., then it's better to go somewhere else. If you want a truly luxurious meal out, then you've come to the right place. You can choose from 3 to 7 courses. If you want something different than what is indicated on the menu, this can be discussed. The oysters were great! The decor is attractive, warm and modern. In short, highly recommended.

A wonderful evening out with our family! My husband and I both took the 4-course surprise menu. Four mouth-watering, delicious small dishes. The menu was less inviting for our children aged 13 & 15 (who prefer to go to McDonalds 😉). We immediately thought about a solution and a little later two fantastic hamburgers with fries appeared on the table. Fantastic service! The dishes may be a bit small for big eaters. The quality of the food is excellent and you pay for it. (€225,- for 4 persons) We will definitely come back, but just the two of us!
