Very nice, friendly service. A very nice, cozy atmosphere, and the food was truly excellent. The wait was less than 15 minutes. All in all, highly recommended.

I only saw the restaurant from the outside, so I can only comment on the ambiance from the outside. It was dirty and broken on the outside. The service, however, was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. As for the food, it was way too expensive for burgers and the like. Every main course comes with fries and salad (coleslaw), but in shared bowls. The fries were maybe two tablespoons per person, so it was sparse. The burger tasted good and was large, but at €26, it was way too expensive. You'd pay a maximum of €15 elsewhere for a meal like that and a burger. The other dishes were also overpriced, but that might be due to the location, as there aren't many options nearby. Unfortunately, I've since gotten extreme stomach pains while eating. One of the group did too, but he had a different dish. Everyone else is fine, hehe.

Our visit to the restaurant with a large group of 17 people was a complete success. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a hearty meal. The delicious burgers, the juicy steak, and the varied children's dishes deserve special mention. A real highlight for me was the cinnamon-preserved pear – absolutely delicious and something different! The portions were generous overall, although our children would have preferred a few more fries, as they were always served as a shared side dish and quickly sold out. Otherwise, everything was excellent; the food was fresh and tasty, and the service was attentive. We would be happy to return and can recommend the restaurant for larger groups and families!

The food was mostly good, but we had to wait over an hour for the food, which was then served at different times. The food itself was good, but the entrecote steak was not medium, despite our request, and was undercooked. It was also cold and still white on one half. The fries weren't served individually per person, but rather shared as a shared plate, which wasn't clearly communicated at the beginning.

The food is good. Menu and prices are not appropriate for a campsite.

We've gone here three times, and each time it was absolutely outstanding. The service was very nice and understanding, even in English. The menu is only in Dutch, but you can ask the waiter for help if you don't understand. The food is amazing and the portion sizes are perfect. You can sit outside and inside and both are very enjoyable. It's a shame they aren't open every day, though this is a very small business so I don't want to complain. It is also notable that they have Texels beer which is very tasty.

Had a lovely lunch and sat down. Good eel sandwich, not to mention the XXL pancake (know what you're getting into, very tasty but really XXL). All this in combination with the pleasant and friendly service ensures that we will definitely come back. Thanks!!

We were on a short break in the village and happened upon this small restaurant. It looks very small from the outside, but it's very spacious inside. It has a lovely ambiance with great decor, lots of children's toys, and comfortable chairs. There's also a bar and an outdoor area. The food was fantastic. The salmon fillet was cooked well but tender. The spare ribs were deliciously marinated and very soft. The staff spoke English, and we received very friendly and courteous service. We highly recommend anyone passing through to stop by. It's truly fantastic!

Eating at 'Bij Ons Thuys'. Great after a long bike ride. Sanne is very nice and pleasantly helpful and Ronald & Remco prepared a delicious dinner. If you are in the area, it is recommended😀

What great service. Friendly and attentive. I briefly mentioned that a desert was a bit too much for me after a big meal, but I still like to end it with something sweet. She arrived a little later with a few chocolates from the house, great! The food is basic but fine in our opinion.

Had dinner today at this restaurant. The service was excellent, nice, fast and attentive. We had lunch... a healthy baguette cost no less than 13.50. No butter on the bread, no dressing on the lettuce. 2 slices of cheese, dry lettuce, tomato and cucumber. In other words, that's not really very special. Soup reasonable and my pancake did not have nice crispy bacon. I was a bit disappointed. Nevertheless, we had a nice seat and a big compliment to the waitress . .

This restaurant is an asset to Wieringen. We had a delicious meal there with 8 people!

It's OK, smells a bit "musty" but is clean. The food is absolutely OK in terms of price/performance ratio, but of course you shouldn't expect star cuisine. Nevertheless, there is a good selection and the dishes we ordered were all tasty. The service was really very good and above all super friendly. There was nothing to complain about on any of the days.

Very good restaurant next to the dyke of the Waddenzee and in a nice surrounding. I have been there 3 times now and it will not be the last.

Our order was taken quickly. For an appetizer I asked if they had port. The waiter had apparently never heard of that. There are also no non-alcoholic aperitifs. I ordered the slip tongues. The menu states that they are fried in butter. I got three soles, a nice portion. Normally I expect the tongue to be drizzled with melted butter, but there was not much noticeable butter. The soles are served with both fries and croquettes, which is nice. The fries were cooked well. There was also a salad. But then there was also an extensive vegetable garnish: cold applesauce, half a raw pepper, sprouts and a carrot. For me a very strange combination with sole. I saw that the same garnish was served with all the other dishes. I can understand this with meat (although, half a raw pepper?) but with a delicate fish like sole? Just leave that out, cover with butter, and you get a completely different dish. The price for three slip tongues (€28.5) was low.

We were there for dinner last night. The inside area is very comfortable. Service is also great, the lady who served us was very friendly and spoke German. When I asked if we could come with a dog, we said yes, but I was pleasantly surprised that the two dogs were allowed in and were also provided with water by the waitress. We had the double burger and the lady burger all in one and it was great. Only recommended

Cozy and good food with pleasant service.

Personeel is vriendelijk, eten was lekker maar 55 minuten wachten voor het hoofd gerecht is te lang. Toch een domper op onze 41 jarige huwelijksjubileum.

Had a glass of iced tea on the terrace and a piece of cheese cake. It's nice, but you're really at a campsite. Not really my thing but that's personal. Inside it looks very cozy ☺️😁😄

Very good food at a very fair price. I ate the beef steak with shrimps, the beef steak was cooked to perfection and was of very good quality. We dined there at the end of our holiday and everyone was completely satisfied and enthusiastic about the price-performance ratio.

Very tasty food, starter and main course. In our opinion the best restaurant in the immediate vicinity of Den Oever.

Very extensive menu, something for everyone. As a starter I had the prawns fried in light oil with herb butter and bread, the main course was sole fried in butter and for dessert the waffle with fresh fruit, yoghurt ice cream and whipped cream. So delicious food.

Didn't enjoy a meal, but a fruit sorbet on the terrace. Tasted excellent and friendly service. It looks cozy inside and on your next visit, let's see what the rest of the menu has to offer.

Waaren niet erg welkom met de honden werden naar een hoekje verwezen zitten we eindelijk na een rit van driehonderd km wordt er gezegd dat we midden in de zaal moesten gaan zitten. Nee niet tevreden zijn weer gegaan

We came here without a reservation. Chairs were placed at the table and we could sit down. The food was well worth the wait. Wow, what a delicious meal we had. And you were such a sweet and pleasant waitress. We will definitely come back.

Ich bin begeistert. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, frisch und geschmackvoll angerichtet. Ich hatte die Fischvariation (Visvaria). Für 24€ ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Meinem Hund wurde eine frische Schale Wasser hingestellt . Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Da komme ich jederzeit gerne wieder. Weiter so.

Mega leckeres Essen, sehr netter Service, wenn wir nochmal hier in der Gegend sind ist das ein Muss.

Durch Zufall sind wir in unserem ersten Hollandurlaub darauf gestoßen. Wir wurden sofort freundlich empfangen und haben uns sofort Wohlgefühl. Neben der sehr geschmackvollen und gemütlichen Einrichtung ist das Essen einfach nur ein Traum. Schade, dass unser Urlaub zu Ende geht. Wir würden, wenn wir könnten, noch Extrasterne vergeben. Absolut zu empfehlen! Gutes Essen, nettes Team. Alle sind sehr freundlich gewesen. Kommunikation ist in Englisch und auf Deutsch auch möglich. Auch auf den Hund wird Rücksicht genommen und ohne Nachfragen ein Wassernapf gebracht (und das sogar im Innennereich). Die Preise sind für die Niederlande in Ordnung, auch da die Beilagen inbegriffen sind und nach weiterem Bedarf gefragt wird. Das Ambiente ist einladend und entspricht der Region.

Voor het eerst geweest, na het horen van lovende kritieken uit m'n omgeving. En die zijn zeker waargemaakt! Ik heb de clubsandwich met zalm, garnalen en paling gehad. De vis was heerlijk en je krijgt zeker waar voor je geld! Absoluut de moeite waard om heen te rijden.

Sehr schönes Restaurant und herzliche Mitarbeiter. Das Essen war perfekt und wir wurden alle mehr als satt. Wenn wir hier wieder Urlaub machen, ist dieses Restaurant das erste, welches wir besuchen werden.

Via Social Deal hier terecht gekomen. Heerlijk gegeten en super vriendelijke bediening. Echt een aanrader om een keertje te gaan eten.

We hebben onze 25e trouwdag daar gevierd met een etentje. Personeel en sfeer was super gezellig! Het eten was voortreffelijk en zeer zeker genoeg. Kortom een dikke aanrader als je in een huiselijke sfeer lekker wilt eten voor een zeer redelijke prijs.

Lekker lunch gegeten goede bediening en het eten was goed

Gisteren gegeten via Socialdeal. Echt heel lekker. Leuke bediening. Gezellige tent.

Superlekker geluncht, Breed assortiment van belegde broodjes tot hamburgers en biefstukken.

Leuke plek. Appeltaart is prima, maar de bitterballen zijn niet lekker (smakeloos en erg klein). Tip aan de chef; probeer eens de bitterballen van ‘De Bourgondier’ (geen aandelen).

Gemütliches Restaurant mit leckeren Gerichten. Mittags/Abends unbedingt reservieren! Wir waren extra Nachmittags (16 Uhr) dort und hatten alles für uns 😉☺️
