Was looking forward to having dinner with my kids. The restaurant was cold and loud, 3 events happening at the same time. People endlessly coming and going by you, doors opening and closing, loud music from the event, very very chaotic. Waiters were nice but just not around, needed to chase them to order and pay. Very disappointing evening

It was very busy considering the number of staff, so there was practically no service, and requests were forgotten. The breakfast was delicious, and in this beautiful location, it was an oasis of tranquility.

I'm not allowed to play with my little brother outside 👎 otherwise it's a nice little restaurant.

We were pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian dishes we received at a buffet party. We enjoyed mushrooms with nuts and blue cheese, the beetroot carpaccio, and more. Classic dishes, perfectly prepared, and genuinely friendly service. Only the acoustics in the large space aren't quite ideal.

A really nice and delicious restaurant in Heemskerk. Perfect for children, who can play and jump around freely. The staff is always very friendly. I love coming here with my children (ages 0, 4, and 11). The only downside is that you can't reserve a spot on the terrace, but otherwise, it's a lovely place!

The play area is messy, and some of the toys are broken or damaged. A major drawback is the two screens with games; they really grab the children's attention, even though I try to limit screen time. If I wanted them in front of a screen, I would have put them in front of the TV at home. Furthermore, there's an open door next to the play area to another room, so you have to keep a close eye on the children to make sure they don't go there. I think a secure, enclosed play area is essential, and unfortunately, that's not the case here. The food, however, was good. I don't know if I'll be back anytime soon, but I do think the screen-free, enclosed play area is a must.

I was very surprised by the service at a restaurant that's so focused on children. It was very fast, and they were always there if you needed anything. The food was fine, nothing special, but certainly not bad. Everything looked beautiful, and I really enjoyed it.

We had a family party here in a teepee tent. It was incredibly well organized. There was plenty for kids to do. There was a small playground outside, and they even blew up two bouncy castles. Inside, it's small but cozy, and there's also a fun play area for the kids. I can't say much about the food because we only had small snacks, but they were good.

One of the best places to have a nice meal while keeping the children entertained. The staff was warm and friendly, the setting safe and the food tasty. Highly recommended.

This is truly an ideal spot for families with young children. There are plenty of activities for the little ones, such as a trampoline and a playground, so parents can enjoy themselves in peace.

Since this restaurant is geared toward children, it was very crowded, loud, and hectic inside (in the rain). It's much better outside. Many of the toys are broken or greasy. The service staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. A few healthier options for children would have been great.

Had dinner there with a friend after swimming at the adjacent swimming facility. This place (and the playground!) is great when you want to eat out with your kids. However, the portion sizes are for kids while the price suggests adult-sized portions. Yes, you can order extra sides (fries and salad) free of charge, but (for example) the 2 skewers of chicken satay were simply a rip-off. The food itself is not the best, maybe a 6 out of 10, but the staff was absolutely great: friendly, attentive and efficient. Even though it was quite busy. Kudos there!!!

Very nice place to go with young children. There is a play corner inside and a playground and a large grass field outside. The food is just good, not exceptional but tasty enough. Also for children the menu is more extensive than you usually see. The service is excellent! Sufficient staff. Most are young but certainly capable. Clearly well trained. You are always helped quickly and friendly.

Really great for a party for young and old. We were there for my mother's 80th birthday. The children present could play outside. And the bbq was delicious!

Delicious food. What a service, speed of service (while there was also a big party going on). Delicious oriental pancakes and shoarma and the brownie with raspberry ice cream was a great ending. We live too far away but if we are in the area again...

The staff is friendly, despite the fact that when it is very busy you don't have to wait too long for food/drink.. the sandwich itself is not that bad, nice and large, with raw vegetables, but the cheese is still very tasteless.. that ruins the whole sandwich.. you don't make a sandwich with very young, or block cheese?.. for the price of 7 to 8 euros for a sandwich, you can find mature, or extra mature cheese in the adults' sandwich. sit...maybe for the children's sandwich that uses very young cheese? I hope you will do something with this, I would love to come and eat toast with you often again... but not anymore...

A bit poor for your money. You can see the plate when there is a pancake on it. It's been a while now but it still sticks around. Wouldn't go there again anytime soon

We regularly come to Bleij with the little one. The food is quite good, but especially the play options for our daughter are great, both indoors and outdoors. We were there today and had a good experience, the little one had a great time, the staff was as always friendly and the food is not special but tastes great, but man, this place has become expensive! We even went back to check if the bill was correct. Our daughter's ice cream turned out to be wrong. She had a rocket but the receipt said a treasure chest. According to the staff, this did not matter as these ice creams would be just as expensive. So €4.50 for an ice cream, it can't get any crazier. Given the ridiculously high prices, this is unfortunately the last time we have been to Bleij for a while. That's why only 2*, sorry Bleij

We drank cappuccino and ate delicious warm apple pie. Sunday morning and Bleij is full of children with parents. Cozy atmosphere and young employees cheerfully serving tasty snacks. Bleij is only not nice on the outside near the parking lot.

Here it is cozy summer and winter with nice staff. Affordable and top location with children. We've been coming here for years. Due to its success, make sure to make a reservation, especially at the weekend.

The play cafe is great fun, but it is often ruined by children older than 3 years old. There are always children around 5/6 years old, which is why accidents happen to the smaller children. The older children also often eat in the play area. Smarties can be dangerous for little ones. Can you be a little stricter about this since the play corner is for up to 3 years? Perhaps contact parents? Would it be clearer that it is for the little ones? This way it stays fun!

Food is good, service adequate, but average age could be slightly higher. In my opinion the atmosphere is reasonable but a bit messy and the toilets could be cleaned more often with all those children.

Nice restaurant, great play area for children. Less so: every time I tried to get our waiter's attention, she was standing in a corner of the terrace swiping on her phone. Tip for the kitchen: do not serve applesauce in a carton. All the fries are soggy with applesauce liquid.

Nice playground, staff could be a bit more friendly. No oat milk or other plant-based milk for coffee... it's 2024... most "hip" places are alert to allergies, etc. This is a shame!

Other times it was really fine. Only this time...my mushrooms were cold. What can I say.....well resolved. Later I saw a long hair in the salad. I said something about this as a comment. But that man's reaction was very indifferent. Yes the cook is bald. So it must be from one of the waitresses. Yep...sorry. quite nonchalantly. Very unfortunate. It put quite a damper on the evening.

This is a nice family restaurant. With a nice playground and friendly staff. The food is good, fresh and of good quality. The prices for a la carte are slightly on the expensive side for the amount you get. But other than that: Bleij is always a good choice.

Ate delicious ribs today. Finally value for money, it's tasty and lots of it! The children can also play outside or inside. I will definitely come back here and this is ideal for families with children!

Update: outside it has become much more spacious with tents, tables and picnic tables. Cozy atmosphere and nice environment. Portions were small. Children's menu is available for children up to 15 years old, but the portion of spaghetti was more suitable for a 4 year old. My 9 year old finished it within 1 minute. Having said this the waitress responded with. Oh so you're still hungry now? Nice exchange library, but if you then get the owner after you, accusing you of theft and banging on the car door, this is a disappointing evening. We will get food elsewhere and will not return here.

Had a really nice lunch. Very nice atmosphere on the rear terrace. The nine of us sat at a large square table. Super cozy. The weather was also good, dry and nice sunshine. But indoors is also a great option.

Even though it was very busy (because the weather was beautiful) on the terrace of restaurant Bleij, we were given a lovely spot outside by the staff. There were ten of us, so everything was ordered and served. Everything tasted great, especially the super large and varied snack board and the delicious drinks were very popular! Highly recommended! We will definitely come back!

Teveel lawaai ,eten was redelijk

Feestavond gevierd met 75 gasten. Bediening was zeer gastvrij. Mooie zaal. Alles wat goed geregeld, hapjes, drankjes en ruim voldoende Fijne locatie, voldoende parkeerplaatsen. Wij zijn zeer tervreden.

Geweest met hele familie inclusief jonge kinderen. Het restaurant is zeer kindvrienselijk met grote speelhoek binnen en buiten. Ook op de menukaart is volop keuze voor hen. Het eten zelf was naast ontzettend lekker, ook goed betaalbaar. Ik realiseer me dat dit alles zeer subjectief is, maar de prijs is echt toegankelijk. Vriendelijk, zorgvuldig personeel maakte de avond af. Let wel! Als je niet houdt van kinderen die door een restaurant 'spelen' niet gaan. Wil je juist met jonge kinderen ook eens uit eten naar een restaurant waar ze niet alleen pannenkoeken hebben dan is dit een absolute aanrader!!!!

Als je met kinderen bent is dit een leuke plek. Qua eten is t in mijn ogen onder maats,neem de sate, deze is vrij flauw en ook veel te weinig . Bij afhalen vd tafel werd gezegd: " zo alles is op " er was dan ook geen stukje patat te vinden, geen druppel mayonaise. Kijk dat is een teken dat de gerechten aan de karige kant worden geserveerd. Ik hoop dat dit verbeterd in de toekomst, verder wel een gezellige kindvriendelijk restaurant. Persoon is vriendelijk. Goed te parkeren. 4 sterren waardig. 5 sterren bij betere porties en kwaliteit van eten

Heb er vorig jaar onze 50 jarig huwelijk gevierd was top. Afgelopen week met dochter en kleinkinderen nog even naar de speeltuin was gezellig en morgen komen we pannenkoeken eten . Onze dochter stuurde een poster waarop het stond . Onze kleindochter heeft daar de laatste twee maanden van haar jongen leventje moeten doorbrengen dat was vlak voor de speciale opening.

Leuke locatie en ideaal voor kinderen er is veel speelruimte buiten , en ook heerlijk geluncht voor herhaling vatbaar !!

Echt een aanrader als je kinderen hebt en heerlijk wilt eten! Bediening is vriendelijk. De buitenspeeltuin is fantastisch. Genoeg keuze om te spelen, ruim opgezet en toch overzichtelijk vanaf het terras.

Fantastisch personeel die je op je wenken bedienen. Groot feest van afgelopen zaterdag was tof, top, geweldig. Niet droog gestaan. Ja onder de luifel buiten... inwendige mens wordt goed verzorgd. Grt T

Goede en gezellige en attente bediening. Prima eten, ook niet te lang gewacht hierop. Prima parkeerplaatsen, ondanks drukke zaterdag om 1800 uur.

Verassingsfeestje georganiseerd bij restaurant bleij en wat is dit goed geregeld! Het was vanaf moment 1 tot het einde tot in de puntjes goed georganiseerd! Vol lof over het personeel, allemaal zeer vriendelijk en we zijn niks te kort gekomen! Ontzettend bedankt

Gewoon gezellig. Eten is lekker en goed klaargemaakt. Niet superbijzonder, maar dat wordt ruimschoots goed gemaakt door de relaxte sfeer en de altijd vriendelijke service. Let wel...het is echt ingericht en toegespitst op families met kinderen. Ik vindt dat heerlijk maar ik ken ook zeikers die dat al meteen storend vinden.

Het is hier gezellig vertoeven voor als je kinderen hebt. Ga je heen voor een gezellig romantische diner voor twee dan zou ik een andere restaurant kiezen. Verder is de service goed, eten heerlijk. alleen aan hygiëne bij de wc mag er wel wat aan gebeuren. Maar of dat daadwerkelijk aan het restaurant ligt of aan de klanten dat weet ik niet.

Kleinzoons hebben weer genoten: spelen, eten, drinken en weer spelen.

Het eten was heel lekker, maar het duurde wel lang.

Beste schoenmaker van de Ijmond!! Me schoenen waren in een dag gerepareerd voor een vriendenprijsje van 35 euro! Wat een topzaak, ga hier heen voor goeie prijs kwaliteit.
