Ate here on Boxing Day. I'd never been here before, but the food was surprisingly delicious. The service was good. It did take a while for the food to arrive, though. Oh well, it was Boxing Day, so it was very busy.

It's not the prettiest location but the food was good and it was quiet (on a Monday afternoon).

Since my wife has acquired brain injury (ABI), dining out often feels overwhelming. So, we asked if we could get something to go. This was absolutely no problem. We ordered the snack platter we'd chosen, and Aaneen was incredibly helpful. It was beautifully packaged, and they even thought of cutlery. We hadn't considered that ourselves. (We're staying in a hotel.) Everything was laid out, and we enjoyed the food immensely. What a treat! This made Christmas Eve complete. When we picked up our order, we noticed that the decor here was very cozy and fresh. If we're ever in the area again, we know where to go. Highly recommended for everyone else.

The pork tenderloin was super good but the rib eye was not of good quality unfortunately. Furthermore a nice place to sit very friendly service!

Stopped in here on my way home today. Taken the 3 course daily menu. A nice sandwich beforehand. Wonderfully tasty tomato soup, ham was also very tasty. You got fries and salad, which you could order if necessary, rounded off with a portion of custard and ice cream. Great meal! Service also friendly and fast. And the seating areas were also spacious and neat. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop by again.

Nice restaurant and good food for a normal price. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is good.

Ate here on the way home, meat (ribeye) was good. The fries and lettuce are also fine, but 1 small bowl of fries and 1 bowl of lettuce for 4 people is very little. 1 person can easily finish the bowl of fries. You could order fries, but I personally put down 2 bowls of each. Dessert was fine.

Had to do work in an industrial area in Emmeloord and got hungry around noon. Saw a nice restaurant and had a great lunch here beyond expectations! You don't expect it in an industrial area, but a great restaurant with fresh fish soup, delicious eel and friendly service! Culinary? No, but that's not necessary! Recommended!

Restaurant AanEen is a nice place for a cozy and tasty meal. I chose the farmer's schnitzel and my girlfriend the rib-eye, and we both enjoyed our food. The flavors were good and the portions just right. The service was also friendly and attentive, which made it even more pleasant. The restaurant has the appearance and atmosphere of a roadside restaurant, but is neat and well maintained. For those on the road or passing through, this is an excellent place to stop for a good meal. All in all, a great experience and definitely worth 4 stars!

Very Bad and very unfriendly Service.

Fairly quiet due to the time of 4:30 PM to 6 PM. Ate spareribs with 4 people. 2 people find them quite dry, the other 2 fine.

Had a good meal at this restaurant. It is not very pleasantly positioned, but if you come with a group that does not matter.

Top place to have a meal. Sat outside on the terrace.

Normally they come to you to ask if you want something to drink, but this guy shouts from the bar: what do you want to drink? Recently they had Cordon Bleu, so I ask what kind...I am told that there is only 1 kind. Let the guy do some training first, it is out of necessity, but it will never be number 1

Soup was tasty, it took half an hour before we had our starter, pork tenderloin was cold, tables were not cleared while the dishes were there at 6 o'clock, we left at half past 8 because it took so long.

Delicious food, opted for the "highway menu" consisting of: - SOUP OF THE DAY – DAILY DISH Hot meal that changes daily – TWO SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM OR CUSTARD with whipped cream And that for € 23.00 p.p.

Disappointing experience, while my expectations were high in advance - given the positive reviews from other guests. Vegetables from a jar/can (at least not fresh), a bowl of fries for 4 people that would not be enough for 1 person, greasy mushroom sauce and, bottom line, it doesn't come cheap. The waiter who clearly did not know the difference between vegetarian and vegan completed the picture.

I really don't understand how this restaurant gets an average of 4.4 stars. It's been a long time since I last ate this bad! Two people in our party - including myself - had special dietary requirements: we wanted to know whether the vegetarian dishes could be served entirely plant-based (partly because of food intolerances to animal products). When making the reservation, it was said that it was best to indicate this in advance, so that everything could be prepared. We called weeks in advance about dietary requirements, and the chef I spoke to clearly understood the difference between vegetarian and vegan. However, when we arrived we were asked which of us were vegetarians. I immediately corrected the man who served us and indicated that the vegetarian schnitzel could also be served entirely vegetable. The response: 'Yes, of course I can't change anything about that schnitzel.' I didn't have much confidence in it, but anyway... After waiting a long time for our food (while we had indicated weeks in advance that we did not have much time and while we were the only ones in the restaurant), the food finally arrived. And what was on the plate? A schnitzel with a fried egg, floating in a cream sauce... I'm normally not that fussy, but here our dietary requirements were clearly not taken into account, and completely against my habit I asked if I could get a new plate. This time I got a copy that did not contain sauce or egg, but everything was still clearly fried in butter - also something that fell under the dietary requirement due to a lactose intolerance. Since it was clear that the service was not interested (and apparently neither was the chef), we left it as is the second time. The food itself was abysmal. The schnitzel itself was okay in taste (but there is not much to spoil it), but it was extremely greasy, and the small amount of vegetables that were served next to it came straight from the freezer. The side dishes consisted of a few tiny bowls that the four of us had to share. I'm not a big eater at all, but I went home hungry - after paying €22.50... The soft drinks were already served poured - in other words, they serve them from a carton to reduce costs - but they still cost at least €3.50 per glass. Tldr: poor, unsympathetic service, dietary requirements are not taken seriously and the food is nasty and way too expensive.

Prima restaurant, dicht bij de snelweg A6. Groot genoeg en veel ruimte. We hadden niet gereserveerd en dat was geen probleem 😊. Nette, snelle keurige bediening. De porties zijn ruim voldoende en worden netjes geserveerd. Echt een aanrader als je toch langsrijdt.

We kwamen toevallig langs met de kleine. Drankje + garnituurtje. Leuke sfeer en vriendelijke ontvangst. Netjes en sfeervol.

Waanzinnig goed eten. Een perfecte douche voor mij als chauffeur. Parkeren in de straatjes maar geen probleem. De bediening is top ook. Ik kom 100% terug !!

We komen hier vaker om wat te drinken na het werk en af en toe wat te eten. Je kunt gezellig zitten om te eten en te drinken mooie mix chauffeurs/restaurant. Eten wat ik heb gehad afgelopen jaren is gewoon perfect niks over aan te merken. Zowel lunch als diner.

Heerlijk eten, makkelijk om er te komen ,omdat het op industrieterrein zit. Je bent met de camper zo weer op de weg.

Blij verrast met deze ervaring! Vriendelijk personeel, met aandacht en ook tijd voor een praatje. Het eten was heerlijk, ruim voldoende en ook prima betaalbaar! De vis was uitstekend gegaard en heerlijk op smaak. De Nijlbaars is zeker een aanrader 👌🏽dat beloofd wat voor de andere gerechten. Let op dat je niet per ongeluk bij de all-you-can-eat ernaast naar binnen loopt. Daar was t complete chaos, niet zo’n vriendelijk onthaal en schrikken geblazen van de prijs.
