We've been there several times and have never been disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was good. In the evenings, you have a view of the dunes and the sunset.

Disappointing. Friendly but somewhat slow service. A shame: greasy, cold calamari rings in the salad, marinated tuna in the salad bitter, very little salmon in the salad. Not value for money. Furthermore: floors sticky and tables not cleaned properly. Not our cup of tea.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, but I'd already spent half the day at the beach and desperately needed the restroom. Since I'd searched for the signposted public toilets in various places and it was extremely hot, I probably looked more like I was homeless compared to the really chic restaurant 🙈 Nevertheless, the waiter I asked for help was incredibly warm and friendly, the kind I've rarely experienced. The restrooms were also very clean, and the atmosphere and location were fantastic. If the waiter is as outstanding in his service as he is in rescuing distressed beachgoers, then it's definitely worth a visit! One question remains: how do the locals manage? Do they all pee in the sea?

Had a nice time with the family. But waiting 2 hours for 5 pots of mussels is really long. The fact that they tasted good and the serving staff made up for a lot. Otherwise, it would have been a negative review.

The food was a pleasant surprise. Everything was smooth and tidy. We had a lovely spot on the terrace with a view of the dunes.

they were not nice. They could not fill the shade, then we will look for it, after a large order, they do not fill the glasses of the lord. In fact, they removed the ones that were there. Last week, I went for a bite to eat at Comer with my boyfriend and my 4-week-old little one. It is a nice place for dinner. Always good and tasty food, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. We would love to come back again soon!

We came here by chance. The food was excellent. The quality was outstanding. The service was superb. Next time I'm in Egmond, I'll definitely come back!

We had a delicious meal! We were a large group (11 people), but that was no problem. We got a nice long table and all the food even arrived at the same time, so no one had to wait. The service was friendly and helpful. The food tasted fantastic! The North Sea sole is highly recommended. The children had a kids' menu which they thoroughly enjoyed, although I did have to give them pieces of my fish ;) We will definitely be back here again!

I ordered a vegan lasagna. Unfortunately! After it was served, it turned out there was a large piece of baking paper inside. I was supposed to get a new one, but that took a very long time. My table companions initially waited before continuing to eat. But their food got cold in the meantime. When my second lasagna finally arrived, there was an even bigger piece of baking paper on top! The chef came out of the kitchen and said he hadn't seen it🫣. He apologized and I got a dessert on the house. But I left the table without a main course. Never again Comer.

A truly lovely spot on the Dutch west coast. A touch of Caribbean flair pervades the summer, especially when the sun sets over the sea late in the evening to the sounds of cool reggae music. The service is very friendly and unobtrusive, always there when you need it. A fantastic location with comfortable seating right on the beach, allowing you to sink your feet deep into the sand. This is the perfect setting for a cocktail. They also offer delicious snacks and meals at reasonable prices. Just 50 meters from the beach, you'll find great beach chairs for rent. It's the perfect place to end the evening with an exotic sundowner. The best way to get here is by bicycle; if you're driving, it's about a 15-30 minute walk from the parking lot, and parking isn't cheap.

A wonderful atmosphere, a beautiful location, and an excellent menu. Prices are reasonable. There's a special children's corner and menu. Highly recommended.

Just a great dinner - starting from sparkling wine to fried plaice. Service was friendly and prompt. Only regret was they ran out of oysters! I encountered no issue with service whatsoever even though some of the reviewers complained about this. I can recommend this restaurant highly.

Great location, but we expected a bit more from the food. Pasta with prawns and arugula for €26.00... hmm, the prawns were lukewarm and tasteless – a shame. The tuna steak (€28.00) was also lukewarm and tasteless – the beetroot could have been better, also only lukewarm. The garlic potato mash was a small, tasteless blob. A pity! In our opinion, the bread appetizer we ordered was missing two small appetizer plates – the little bits of something from a paper bag were missing. Mayonnaise from a cardboard dish doesn't fit the upscale ambiance. Too much duck on the menu (in our opinion).

If you need to get to the back seats or go to the toilet, you have to walk past the kitchen and the finished, uncovered food – very questionable.

Had a nice meal. And drank a good bottle of Primitivo wine. Of course, the beginning and the end matter too. Unfortunately, the beginning was our reservation (made by phone and then disappeared). Luckily, we still managed to get a spot. But not a very good one (high table next to the kitchen). Fresh, friendly staff and good food.

We had dinner at Comer. The decor was really beautiful and inviting. The service staff was clearly overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't even fully staffed. None of the very young employees were attentive. Our drink order was forgotten twice. We had to actively ask for a dessert menu and then actually find someone to help us. However, the food was exceptionally delicious and we highly recommend it.

Very cozy place although the cold weather. Very attend and kind staff. The food arrived fast and was just scrumptious. It's a kind of place, you must visit.

We've always had excellent meals here in recent years. However, the chef must have changed. The food we ordered—tuna steak and satay skewers—tasted exceptionally bad. I don't know if I'd want to dine here again. What a shame!

Overall, very good food in a lovely setting. But please turn on the heating. It's far too cold in the restaurant when it's 4°C outside. That's cutting corners in the wrong place. Moreover, hot food should be served hot. It's not good to serve hot dishes on cold plates.

What a terrible evening. The tuna starter tasted metallic. Served way too cold (too quickly). The sole that followed was awful. Very fishy and absolutely not tasty. The hamburger was completely overcooked. Really not good! Haven't eaten so terribly in a long time! Such a shame! Not recommended. We had to pay a large portion of the bill before we had finished our main course (and didn't finish it either). Terrible!

A modern restaurant with delicious food. We had the catch of the day, plaice, which came with root vegetables, rhubarb dip, remoulade dip, homemade fries, and mayonnaise. The plaice was fantastically prepared. We were there for lunch and finished with an espresso. The service was excellent, and it's a stylish restaurant.

So, the restaurant is really well decorated, and the view from the terrace is very nice. We can't really complain about the food either. Unless the steak tartare is really too small. It should be at least 150g. The biggest problem is the service. Three young, some very young, and obviously inexperienced waiters. Hey, it's very drafty in here and it's cold. Ah, okay, the air conditioning is still running (with an outside temperature of about 13°C), I'll turn it off right away. Long waits at the entrance, for the menu, etc. There's still a lot of room for improvement. Compared to Van Speijk, the decision is easy for me. Definitely Van Speijk.

Restaurant with a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and a play area for children. The staff were very friendly and affable! Impeccable uniforms that match the entire surrounding environment, which is quite refined. As for the food, I have no words!!! Everything was 5 stars, from the appetizers to the desserts, all the food was wonderful. The soup of the day was divine, as was the Comer salad, an excellent surprise due to the combination of various flavors!!! The children's menu is also on par with the rest of the adult menu. This restaurant is a gem discovered in the Netherlands. We were amazed!!!

Delicious food with a view of the sea

What a relief to eat here. I told them that, due to celiac disease, I absolutely had to eat gluten-free. The chef, Remco van der Wal, did exactly what was needed. A worry-free meal.

You can truly be a guest here. The staff are incredibly attentive to their guests. They provide excellent service and attention, something you don't often see anymore. Yes, they're €2 more expensive, but I'm happy to pay that price for this level of service.

The restaurant has a beautiful location on the edge of the dunes by the beach. The outdoor terrace is very nice, with a great atmosphere. Some of the indoor seating isn't as nice, and it's noisy due to the bar. The food was very good and beautifully presented. Good value for money. Service is very friendly, but could be a bit more attentive. We would gladly eat here again.

We ordered two satays from the friendly ladies who helped us. She told us that fries were included. Then, a very unfriendly woman with dark hair gave us two satays with one small, 3/4-filled fry. The answer was to prevent food waste. The delicious satay had far too little sauce. We politely asked if we could have a little more satay sauce. Then we asked for some fries because one small bag and two chicken satay skewers weren't enough for two people. To our surprise, the bill showed a shot of satay sauce for €3 and the fries for €5. Satay is €23.50, so you'd expect to get enough food and not have to add another €8. Now, I understand why a restaurant that's always busy with good food was so empty during peak season. It's a shame.

Excellent service; you're led to your reserved table and the staff are polite and professional. The starters were well-seasoned. My kingfish sashimi was delicious; in my opinion, the sea buckthorn was a bit overpowering, but otherwise, it was a fine dish. The main courses were also good. Although my wife had different expectations for her eggplant steak. It was okay, but we expected something fried, and instead, we received something deep-fried. The vegetables in the main course could have been a bit more flavorful, but otherwise, there are good main courses and good wines on the menu. The desserts were good. The coffee was also delicious. Definitely recommended if you're in Egmond.

Had a wonderful meal with a large group of friends/family. The service was incredibly friendly and the decor is beautiful. Just don't expect any culinary highlights. My fish of the day was very generous, but the flavor wasn't exciting at all. In short, don't go and order, expect, and receive a simple dish.

Unfortunately, my visit to Comer was a major disappointment. The food was mediocre: the zucchini soup as a starter tasted mostly of water and lacked any flavor. The main course, plaice, was poorly prepared – not cooked properly and therefore difficult to remove from the bone. Furthermore, the staff seemed unfamiliar with the menu, which caused confusion and confusion at the table. The acoustics in the restaurant also left much to be desired. It was so noisy that it was almost impossible to converse normally. Not a pleasant dining atmosphere. All in all, not recommended – I certainly won't be eating here again.

Lots of new and inexperienced staff who were constantly searching for the right tables to take orders. The most experienced waitress was very fond of talking about herself. It's a nice place, but you feel like you're packed like sardines in a can. A missed opportunity... no sea view. It's just not quite right.

The restaurant is located directly behind the dune. There's a terrace and a fairly large interior. Unfortunately, the dune prevents you from seeing the sea when you're seated at the table. For dinner, we had the fish of the day, sea bass, and pasta with shrimp. Both were delicious. Prices ranged from €20-30 per person.

Excellent food in a great location! Vegan lunch assortment was very nice, much better than I expected for the price. Mocktails also very tasty. Staff/kitchen didn't mind altering a dish to fit a dietary requirement (no oil), and were very accommodating. View from the restaurant is lovely, you can see the dunes, sea and lighthouse.

I went for diner with my sisters and girlfriend, we reserved a table at 19:30, we got there at 19:20, they sat us at a weird bar/booth table, it took them 15 minutes to ask us to order for drinks and we had to wait another 10 for the menu, after we ordered it took them 50 minutes to bring the food, my family found the food okay at best, but myself in the other hand, ended up with a burger that had a hard, chewy tomato and it still had the leaves, never in my life i had been served such slice of tomato, and the meat wasn’t baked properly, not even mid-rare, i think if i had rushed it to the veterinary we could’ve saved the cow, food wasn’t edible for me, wouldn’t dare to recommend this for place

First of all we had to wait 45 minutes for only someone to come to give us drinks another 20 waiting for the card 30 minutes later and we still had no food in the end we waited for 1,30 hours for our food, the food was terrible they gave us raw meat and charged us extreme prices for the quality of this food, the service was horrible. I was with a group of 5 and one of them laughed a bit loud and the personnel actually shushed us. And above all of that they placed us on rock hard bar chairs, Im telling you when I stood up it was no good. Overall this experience was the worst and I will not be going back.

Delicious food, generous portions, versatile menu, nice staff, beautiful decor. Also enjoyed gluten free. Salad Comer is highly recommended. It was my best salad ever. Gluten-free, well adapted and very well and luxuriously filled. The farmer's omelette on artisan brown bread was also well received. Only the dirty chai was a bit shocking in terms of price, but the food was fairly priced. We would love to come back.

Nice restaurant on the Egmond aan Zee beach. The environment is very cozy and staff is friendly. The food price it’s normal for Holland, I mean not cheap. Cool for any season because you can sit inside and also outside. Great place for a lunch with friends or a date. Parking is free if you want to go with the car.

Very cozy and relaxed restaurant in the middle of Egmond. Since we stayed in the Maris Apartments, you just have to plan a visit to Comer just for the sake of decency. We weren't disappointed. High quality food prepared on point. Very nice, attentive and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

A really great place! Good wines, delicious oysters and a wide choice of main courses

Today it was rainy but with moments of sun which we gratefully captured thru the windows. The attentive staff immediately welcome you, today Seychelle served us very well. This place, easy to find and even on a busy day has its own parking space for guests which is really convenient. We had the ‘Lunch proeverij’ and the Panna Cotta and looking forward to coming back again👌!

What a great experience at Restaurant Conner in Egmond aan Zee! It is ideal that they have their own parking space, so you can enjoy yourself without any worries. We started with the oysters as a starter – fresh and absolutely delicious! Then we enjoyed a perfectly prepared tournedos with mushrooms and duck liver. The flavors were fantastic, and the presentation was beautiful. To finish we had a super delicious dessert that was really the icing on the cake. A wonderful end to a great evening. Compliments to the chef and the team! Highly recommended for an evening of culinary enjoyment.

A warm welcome, a safe place for my bicycle helmet and when choosing a table a tip 'nice place, warm, the sun is shining'. We chose the lunch tasting, very tasty and more than sufficient, we wanted the accompanying coffee last. That was possible now, because it was quiet. So flexible; now that I could. The guests sat together in the back area, so this large restaurant still managed to offer a cozy atmosphere. Service was very friendly and came by every now and then to check if everything was okay. A restaurant to visit more often.

An all-round successful visit to the restaurant: excellent food, very friendly staff, modern but cozy atmosphere, atmospheric lighting, very child-friendly (including a play area and children's menu).
