Das Essen war sehr lecker der Service eine Katastrophe bieten ein Drei-Gänge-Menü an und man bekommt nur zwei weil der Nachtisch über eine Stunde dauert kein Entgegenkommen vom Personal Also nicht zu empfehlen es ist ein Betrug

Wilde graag buiten op het terras zitten om te eten . Kon alleen een drankje drinken eten moest binnen met dit mooie weer .Jammer wij komen normaal in Valkenburg bij de beren en dachten wij gaan eens naar Kerkrade .

We vonden de bediening niet geweldig, eten ook niet, friet smaakte chemisch, saté was hard en droog, verkeerde salade gekregen, spare ribs niet echt lekker, koffie verkeerd gebracht en bij afrekenen vroegen we een bon vooraf aan betalen, dat was ook ingewikkeld!

Het was heerlijk. Minpuntje: keukenpersoneel draagt géén hygiëne handschoenen.!!!!!! 2 van de 5 wel. De warme keuken NIET!!!

Met collega's wezen eten na een dagje cursus. Spicy crunchy chicken besteld ,saus met ingrediënten was lekker.maar de krokante kip was gewoon hard en kurkdroog,dit aangegeven aan de bediening maar werd niks mee gedaan,.en dat voor €17 en moest je ook nog het bakje frieten delen met 2 man.👎🏻👎🏻

Today I ate Spicy crunchy chicken for the first time at the bears. The sauce with ingredients was tasty, but the chicken was bone dry and hard 😠 and for that price 👎🏻 This was reported to the operator, but nothing was done about it. De Beren absolutely not recommended 👎🏻👎🏻

Disappointing experience at De Beren Kerkrade Today I had a particularly bad experience at De Beren in Kerkrade, mainly due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff. My order was the "12 o'clock fish" dish, which should have been served with a tuna salad. Unfortunately, the order did not indicate that this salad was out of stock, so I assumed that I would receive everything as described on the menu. When the food was brought, I immediately noticed that the tuna salad was missing and asked the waitress the reason. She told me that the salad had been out of stock since Monday, but she still went to ask. After a long wait of 10 minutes I decided to walk to the bar myself, where the waitress told me she had forgotten and would check right away. Later she brought a plate of salmon (which I already had), while I was looking for an alternative to the missing tuna salad. When I asked for something else, she got irritated and walked away, completely ignoring me. After calling several times, I decided to follow her to the kitchen, where I heard her complaining about me. This was not only unprofessional, but also rude. It seemed like she didn't want to take responsibility. Ultimately, my concerns were resolved by another colleague, who was professional and friendly. What particularly disappointed me was the lack of apology from the waitress, who did not correct her behavior further. This shows an arrogant and immature attitude, which absolutely does not belong in the catering industry. In addition, the food itself was also disappointing. For 17.50 euros I got a plate with two slices of bread, one of which was covered with salmon and the other with some shrimps and arugula. This was definitely not good value for money and it looked very sloppy. Even after adjusting the dish with a carpaccio sandwich, the food tasted less delicious due to the unpleasant experience. In summary: It was not indicated that the tuna salad was not available when taking the order. The kitchen did not report that the tuna salad was missing. The waitress did not notice that the salad was not on the plate. Her unprofessional and rude attitude was unacceptable. No apologies were made for her behavior. I hope that De Beren pays attention to customer satisfaction and handles these types of situations better in the future.

Nou beoordeling???. Mijn man en ik wouden even nog eens na lange tijd een heerlijk avondje eten. 19:15 Stomste fout om bij jullie te gaan. We komen aan, bediening voren kwam geen lach vanaf heel onvriendelijk, Werden na de plaats gewezen en kwamen het drinken opvragen. 3.5 voor een kleine cola moest ik al slikken. Voor gerechtje tomatensoep je proefde uit blik. Maar goed hij was te doen. Broodplankje, brood was taai en oud. Dan na een uur en 15 min ( 20:30 ) nog altijd geen hoofdgerecht te zien. Uiteindelijk viel het ze op dat het we nog niks hadden, en zeiden ze ons dat ze ons waren vergeten. Na goed kan gebeuren🥴ik al heel erg geïrriteerd. we zouden dan op het huis 2 drankjes krijgen Serveersters met een langgezicht allemaal. De mensen moesten moeite doen om nog een glaasje te drinken te krijgen. Plafond of vloer was hun enige blik. Dan kwam het hoofdgerecht Tournedos is een steak van 200 gram 32 euro. Nou was maar een stukje vlees van miss nog geen 10 cm breed. Friet moest je apart betalen. Stelletje afzetters. Spareribs 625 gram. 28 euro. Ook friet apart betalen Walgelijk gewoon. Je kon het vlees als pap samen duwen. En op de achterkant kon je zien dat het gewoon in de magnetron is opgewarmd en de afdruk van de plastic verpakking was te zien. Plus lauw. Al met al 98 euro voor dit hondenvoer restaurant. Slecht slecht slecht. En dan ook nog durven zeggen. Vlees komt vers van de grill. Amahoela

Ronduit verschrikkelijk, het eten was van erg slechte kwaliteit. Bediening moet je zelf roepen anders komen ze niet. Geen wonder dat het restaurant altijd nagenoeg leeg is.

Teleurstellende ervaring bij De Beren Kerkrade Vandaag heb ik een bijzonder slechte ervaring gehad bij De Beren in Kerkrade, voornamelijk door het onprofessionele gedrag van het personeel. Mijn bestelling was het gerecht "12-uurtje vis", waarvoor een tonijnsalade zou moeten worden geserveerd. Helaas werd er bij de bestelling niet aangegeven dat deze salade niet op voorraad was, waardoor ik er vanuit ging dat ik alles zou ontvangen zoals beschreven op het menu. Toen het eten werd gebracht, merkte ik meteen dat de tonijnsalade ontbrak en vroeg ik de serveerster naar de reden. Ze vertelde me dat de salade al sinds maandag niet meer op voorraad was, maar ging het alsnog navragen. Na een lange wachttijd van 10 minuten besloot ik zelf naar de bar te lopen, waar de serveerster me vertelde dat ze het was vergeten en het meteen zou navragen. Later bracht ze een bord met zalm (wat ik al had), terwijl ik juist op zoek was naar een alternatief voor de ontbrekende tonijnsalade. Toen ik vroeg om iets anders, reageerde ze geïrriteerd en liep ze weg, mij volledig negerend. Na een aantal keren geroepen te hebben, besloot ik haar te volgen naar de keuken, waar ik haar hoorde klagen over mij. Dit was niet alleen onprofessioneel, maar ook onbeschoft. Het leek erop dat ze haar verantwoordelijkheid niet wilde nemen. Uiteindelijk werden mijn zorgen wel door een andere collega opgelost, die wel professioneel en vriendelijk was. Wat me vooral teleurstelde, was het gebrek aan excuses van de serveerster, die haar gedrag verder niet corrigeerde. Dit getuigt van een arrogante en onvolwassen houding, die absoluut niet thuishoort in de horeca. Daarnaast was het eten zelf ook teleurstellend. Voor 17,50 euro kreeg ik een bord met twee sneden brood, waarvan er één bedekt was met zalm en de andere met enkele garnalen en rucola. Dit was absoluut geen goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en het oogde erg slordig. Zelfs na het gerecht te hebben aangepast met een broodje carpaccio, smaakte het eten minder lekker door de vervelende ervaring. Samenvattend: Er werd niet aangegeven dat de tonijnsalade niet beschikbaar was bij het opnemen van de bestelling. De keuken gaf geen melding dat de tonijnsalade ontbrak. De serveerster merkte niet op dat de salade niet op het bord zat. Haar onprofessionele en onbeschoft houding was onacceptabel. Er werden geen excuses aangeboden voor haar gedrag. Ik hoop dat De Beren aandacht besteedt aan de klanttevredenheid en dit soort situaties in de toekomst beter aanpakt.

The restaurant is located at the large (parking) lot at Roda JC Stadium with various restaurants, fast food chains, and shops. Very busy with parking close to the restaurants, but there is plenty of space a little further towards AH XL. The signs did say: Please note that paid parking is required during competitions. The welcome was friendly and we were given a seat on an elevated floor overlooking the open kitchen. Nicely decorated and cozy atmosphere. We ordered a 3 course menu for € 32.50 and the food was very tasty and good portions. Enjoy a relaxed meal!

It was not the first time we were there, but it was the 1st time at Christmas, so of course we ordered the Christmas menu, well I can say it was excellent and delicious, prepared and laid out with care yesterday. The service was super friendly and fast. The decoration of the restaurant was attractive. Even the little ones in the restaurant were not forgotten and received a present. Disappointing evening, booked with a (large) group, the table was neatly set upon arrival! Ambiance is good!!! However the food was very bad! The meat of half was cold and dry! the glasses were not cleared, only after asking twice! The cold meat was served warm again after a while, but not the fries/sweet potato, as they were now also cold! The mayonnaise was delivered when the food was almost gone!! Not a single employee gave an apology or any explanation, rather they were agitated because things had gone wrong!! In short, this "De Beren" in Kerkrade is certainly not recommended to visit with a larger group!!

First time after this. The atmosphere of the interior makes you feel right at home, relaxed and wonderful. Staff super friendly, answer all questions and have a chat. Very attention to children. Most children are often ignored and there is no time for it. The food is more than worth it. As a sparerib lover and connoisseur, I have been to many places in Limburg, including home-made spareribs. Yet spare ribs from the bears surpass the absolute class of meat that falls off the bone. All other things we tried were also very tender and delicious. Steak tips side dish also highly recommended. We really regret not having been here before. From now on, this place will be number 1 when we want to go out for dinner.

ik had met een vriendin een kruitvat voucher gekocht om even gezellig bij te kletsen . Wij kwam vaker hier toen de andere vrouwelijke manager er nog was altijd lekker gegeten en vooral de gin tonic kwamen wij altijd voor terug . Helaas is het erg tegen gevallen dit keer voor gerecht was koud, de gin was meer tonic dan gin voor 13 euro enorm tegen gevallen . En dan word er niet aangegeven dat je voor de friet extra moet betalen als je zoete aardappel kiest en dit niet bij het 3 gangen menu ingegrepen zit . Zag veel nieuw personeel en er hing een mindere leuke sfeer als voorheen enorm jammer mooie zaak maar ons zie je hier niet meer terug veel geld voor heel weinig en de manager straalt geen positieve energie uit . Het bar personeel zet zo drankje op tafel pakt de lege glazen weg zonder wat te zeggen en de glazen worden neer gezet aan het einde van de tafel waar niemand zit normaal zet je het netjes voor de gast neer . Nee geen vriendelijke sfeer volle zaak meer jammer wij kwamen er voorheen graag nu zie je ons niet meer !

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal im De Beren in Kerkrade. Ein moderner Industrial-Zwanzigerjahre-Schick, trifft hier auf leckere Küche. Nicht nur, dass die Burger sehr gut waren, die Nachspeise (Dame Blanche) wusste ebenfalls zu überzeugen. Die Bedienung, sowie der Chef war sehr freundlich. Selbiger spricht auch super Deutsch. Kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die Portionsgröße. Da darf gerne etwas mehr auf dem Teller landen 🙂 Ansonsten kehren wir hier gerne wieder ein.

Atmosphere and service are good! Let's get that said. However, we were amazed at the portions we received. Ordered pork satay, it was really very little. Unfortunately fries were lukewarm. We often eat at the bears, but this was the first time in Kerkrade.

The food was all delicious, absolutely no complaints about that. Staff were friendly. Just don't eat unlimited spareribs in Kerkrade! they are really stingy with the portions. You get a tiny piece of spare rib every time and it has to be in the oven for 7 minutes, we were told, so you have to wait 15 minutes every time. (because service cannot be next to you every time, of course) If you ask if you can't have 2 small pieces at a time so that you get 1 normal portion, this is not allowed. So if you really come for the spareribs you will go home hungry. I actually should have taken pictures of the small pieces you get, a really sad sight on such a large plank. Then don't do an unlimited sparerib promotion.

Had dinner there two years ago with my family, my mother had been waiting for 45 minutes for prawns: "Shrimp in olive oil garnish" but instead got cold prawns instead of warm. The fries were dry and the steak was tough and bland, also the arugula was not real. a good combination with the dish. My father had filed a complaint with the staff but had to wait 10 minutes because the staff was too busy and came back again and again to ask: "Can I help you with something?" my father had been waiting for half an hour to finally speak to the chef, but the chef said: "sorry for your dissatisfaction, we the bears will do something to make things run better." My father said that those people still had a lot to learn and that is true because we had not gone there anymore🙅

Today I went to DE BEREN for the first time via social deal. I was well received and quickly helped by a gentleman. Then young girls took my order "and". I made a reservation through socialdeal so I received a separate menu card. When I told them what I wanted, the girl asked if I wanted fried mushrooms and bear herbs on the fries, for example, and I said yes. With the thought that that was part of it. That turned out NOT to be the case, because when I wanted to pay I suddenly had to pay a SUBSTANTIAL extra. They did NOT tell me and it is NOT on the menu that those extra things will be charged. I feel cheated and will NEVER go to DE BEREN again and advise against others. There are plenty of HONEST restaurants that DO mention the extra costs on the menu and/or say so when you order.

The food is good, the service is good, but the tables are pretty close next to each other. Where we were seated, a person barely could pass between the tables, which was a con for me.

Vanavond in Kerkrade geweest maar valt echt tegen!!!! Bij binnenkomst heel onvriendelijke ontvangst. We konden plaats nemen met 2 volwassenen en een kind aan een tafel voor 6 personen omdat het niet anders kon volgens een meneer aan de balie, maar hij was het er duidelijk niet mee eens terwijl ik gebeld had om te reserveren. Daarna zeker een kwartier tot 20 minuten zitten wachten tot er eens iemand kwam vragen of we iets wilde drinken. Wel liepen ze met genoeg personeel rond om met 3 of 4 aan de balie te staan. Onbeperkt spareribs adverteren ze mee. Bij opdienen kreeg ik 5 ribjes. Zelf moeten vragen of ik nog een portie mocht. Na ruim een half uur wachten dan eindelijk nog 3 ribjes. Frietjes die erbij zitten waren inmiddels koud. Aangegeven dat het wel erg lang duurde en hoeft echt niet binnen 2 minuten nieuwe ribjes op tafel maar dat een half uur wel heel lang is en de rest dan koud is. Kwam door de drukte volgens de serveerster. Ik weet niet wat ze gewend zijn maar er zaten wel geteld toen ik de 2e portie bestelde 3 tafels met mensen dus druk???? Ze zou het aan de keuken doorgeven zei ze toen. Nou er wordt dus niks mee gedaan als mensen iets aangeven. Helaas de tweede keer dat we hier geweest zijn daar we hun na de eerste mindere ervaring nog een kans wilde geven, maar nu echt klaar mee!!!!

Leuk restaurant me enigszins luxe uitstraling. Dat zie je ook aan de prijzen. Astronomisch! We gingen voor een betaalbare keuze, een schnitzel. Zonder saus ook al €18,50. De laatste schnitzel was helaas weg. We knden wel iets anders, duurders, kiezen. Dacht het niet. Dit restaurant valt onder de gemiste kansen. Naastgelegen zijn Dadawan en Happy Italy te vinden. Beide zijn voor ons in ieder geval een veel betere jeuze.

One of my favorite restaurants.

I hadn't eaten at the Bears for years, but I knew they used to have the best ribs. That is certainly not the case anymore, the ribs seemed cooked instead of grilled....I don't know about the rest, but I wouldn't eat the spare ribs.

Friendly welcome, a cozy spot was assigned. Fast service, drinks were on the table in no time. Received an explanation about the menu and the order was taken quickly. The food was delicious and we were regularly asked if everything was to your liking. Finally, we ate a delicious dessert and had a drink at our leisure. De Beren was fully booked when we arrived without a reservation. It was arranged for us to eat. We had a delicious meal and the service was quick and friendly. The pork satay is highly recommended.

Have eaten at the Beren Kerkrade before. Now the high tea for the first time. Was very tasty and different snacks than most high teas. Definitely worth it. Staff always very helpful and friendly.

1st time at concept De Beren. It was class! Above expectations. It was much less fast food and chain and food bar than we thought. Wonderfully relaxed and simply good food. Nice, friendly and attentive service. We would like to go back one day, including children.

A very cozy restaurant. Dark interior which makes the atmosphere cozy. Light background music but certainly not too loud. The food (spare ribs) was really very good. One of the tastiest spare ribs available. Well helped by nice staff. Highly recommended.

Very good first experience with this De Beren restaurant! We were warmly welcomed and were immediately shown to our spot. We didn't have to wait because everything was delivered right away. We ordered a high tea. There was nice fresh tea, plenty of choice. 1st round was richly filled bread. 2nd round something savory and something like that and 3rd round were all kinds of small pastries. After each round we were always asked whether we wanted to continue with the next round or wait a little longer. That was very pleasant. We were also asked often enough if we wanted anything else to drink. Also nice. And whether everything was to your liking. We had a delicious meal and there was more than enough for everyone. So we left with a full stomach.
