3:00 PM and no food to be found. Barely any selection, let alone knowing where to go. A hospital of this size with such a meager offering! I was astonished, and I have visited quite a few hospitals, but nowhere as bad as here! How is this possible? Anyway, everything at the UMC is from the 80s. Analog junk!

Scandalous value for money. Hardly any halal options available; in the end, only fries and a cheese soufflé were left, and we paid about €25. Moreover, the food was cold. In a large hospital, you expect better food, more choice, and reasonable prices. Very disappointing!

Unfortunately, the food here was not good. It looks very unappetizing to the eye, so we decided to have fries and a cheese soufflé deep-fried. Unfortunately, they both tasted like they came out of frying oil that had been in there for months.

Expensive, 50 cents for a bag of mustard that normally costs 15 cents, or 3.50 for a bottle of cola. Ridiculous. The food is of mediocre quality. Opening hours are 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM, but if you want a decent lunch around 1:00 PM, you're out of luck. Hygiene is also questionable; plates and cutlery are often dirty. Sandwiches are now left exposed in a tray, and patients and staff walk past them coughing and sneezing. They also don't have frikadellen anymore, which is unhealthy. Meander does offer them because they fry responsibly; they've received a certificate for this :) A tip for management: stop buying expensive bread trays and check out other hospitals/medical centers that offer good, affordable food. MRC Doorn, for example, offers high quality and incredibly low prices. The staff is helpful and very friendly; if something isn't right, you get a free, edible meal.

Nothing wrong with it, lots of choice and not expensive

The "clean" plates are always dirty, which makes you wonder about the rest of the hygiene. During Easter, there was almost nothing available. And that for such a large hospital. The food for patients is also far below par.

The food isn't great, but I haven't had a more pleasant experience anywhere in recent years than at De Brink. I especially like the woman with the short, blonde haircut. But why has the soup policy changed? Two different kinds of soup a day is a bare minimum.

I've been coming regularly for the hot lunch since 2013, even three times a week. Until last year, they always served generous amounts of vegetables, and now they offer very limited vegetables with the hot meal, even 3 carrots or 3 peas for 6 euros. I now always eat at the Maximacentrum, where you get more than enough. As a hospital, they should know that vegetables are important to their patients. I'll never eat there again.

Arrived at 6:30 on a weekday. Almost all the food was gone. There was still a small container of fries and a croquette. The fries were limp and lukewarm, and the croquette was also lukewarm. The hamburger bun couldn't be made anymore. The restaurant closes at 7:00, so I'd think there would be something available at 6:30. The price was quite reasonable, €6.70 total including sauce. But the quality was very poor. In a hospital, you sometimes have to rely on a restaurant like that. There's nothing else nearby.

One specific very rude employee at the cashier. It's a woman with short, blonde hair. Her behaviour was unacceptable.

Great restaurant to eat for visitors, patients, employees. Compared to the choice menu for patients in hospital, this is a good alternative. A lot of choice. From starter, main course to dessert. If you are in hospital, you can get a restaurant pass every now and then. But the price is also more than fine for visitors.

Delicious fries with a croquette at a good price, only €4.95, which you can no longer get in a regular snack bar! Large range, many options for both healthy and 'fatty'.

Always a cup of soup and delicious fresh fries when we are at the UMC. Various sandwiches and different toppings for lunch also very good! Always enough space and a large terrace with a view of the pond outside. Price is great!

The quality of the food in the village green leaves much to be desired. Especially when you consider that it is a hospital.

Huge choice is not overwhelming, tasty food. However, pricey.

1 euro for as many vegetables/potatoes/rice as you want (1 euro per product). There is often a varied selection, but unfortunately the food is no longer tasty at the end of the day.

I have been eating at De Brink regularly for years. I'm not the most critical when it comes to food so I'm usually quite satisfied. The food is fairly tasteless, often overcooked/overbaked and on the expensive side, but I was usually satisfied with that. I find it very strange that birds often fly into this restaurant, which is often visited by vulnerable patients! This doesn't seem hygienic to me and has been like this for months. Unfortunately, last week I was also treated in a nasty way by one of the employees of De Brink. I was standing at the cash register in an otherwise completely empty restaurant. Unfortunately I didn't have any balance so I quickly tried to transfer money to myself. Unfortunately, this did not go very smoothly, after which the lady behind the counter told me to 'hurry up' and that she 'had other things to do'. After she said this she got up from the register and even walked away while I was still standing there with my food. A friend of mine was standing a little further away and was told by her that he had to pay for me. A bit surprised by that comment, he did that... Not a pleasant experience.

Very basic food of mediocre quality at a relatively high price. Hardly any innovation with the introduction of new food products. Lots of fried food and processed food. Fries are limp, dry and cold. Pasta has been cooked for far too long and has therefore become a kind of pudding (already cooked and will be cooked again before serving). There are so many opportunities for improvement, but unfortunately the decision is not made to innovate with beautiful, healthy and fresh products.

Nice meal. A plate full of potato balls, steak, hamburger/minced meat and salmon. Mayonnaise, curry ketchup and chili sauce with a small carton of milk.
