We had a delicious meal. The portions weren't too big, but they were very tasty!

I ate pasta with beef tenderloin here for the first time. The beef tenderloin was deliciously tender and the pasta was superb!! Haven't eaten this good food in ages.

This is the perfect place to sit outside look over the market square with the large church with the unfortunately placed cell phone antenna. Just wonderful service and food.

Had a very delicious dinner; the beef tenderloin pasta and the burger are highly recommended, and the cocktails are also very tasty. The food arrived quite quickly and the service was friendly!

Just fine. Nice menu for both food and drinks, a cozy terrace, and pleasant service. Despite the young age of the ladies, they are alert, friendly, and do a great job. If you don't like truffle, be careful as it is on many dishes, but it is easily omitted if you ask for it.

Had a lovely party for my 70th birthday at De Zadelmakerij. This cozy little hall was nicely decorated for hosting a party. There were 46 of us, which fits the room nicely. After coffee and tea, the party could begin, with tasty snacks in between. The service was excellent. Definitely worth recommending. Toon Kemps

Great place for a relaxing evening. The food is excellent, small portions, and the concept is fun (in the back of the Gastrobar). The Bernardus wine is delicious. Other wines have a limited, simple selection. It was quite dark where we were seated. The decor is modern and has a pleasant atmosphere. There are plenty of staff, often busy with each other instead of with the guests. Only the guy behind the bar was busy. We would have ordered more if we had been asked. We had to keep asking if we could eat or drink anything else. A missed opportunity.

Nice restaurant in the center of Oirschot with a separate room for a larger group

Beautifully renovated, a real masterpiece! Great for having a drink, but eating is another story. New menu with smaller dishes. From the cold starters, we ordered the tuna. It is listed on the menu for €14. You would think that you would get a nice and substantial dish. It fits perfectly in a hollow tooth. Next, we ordered two more dishes and a portion of fries. Entrecote, flamkuchen, and fries. Regarding the entrecote, they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. Next came a much too small and overcooked piece of meat; the flamkuchen was a plain, ordinary, burnt bowl of tortilla chips with cheese. The fries only arrived after we had finished my meat, and I sent the chips back immediately. When I wanted to pay, disappointed, I was first served by two waitresses who, due to their inexperience, weren't allowed to process the bill yet... On our way out, we passed the kitchen, which we happened to look into, and saw how the flamkuchen was being made. A very large Tupperware box with chips, another box with tapenade, some cheese, and that's it. Fine for drinks. Paid nearly €80 and went home hungry. Gave my complaints but nothing was done about it. The boss sat at a small table in the middle of the restaurant the whole evening, and that with so much inexperienced staff!

Stopped here for lunch on the way home from the Ardennes because my husband had enjoyed a nice lunch here with his colleagues. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I chose the shrimp croquettes, which were tasty in themselves. However, 2 small croquettes on 2 large, soggy, tasteless slices of bread and some salad is not what I expect from an 18-euro dish. The fried parsley was a nice touch. Service friendly but rushed. Unfortunately, not worth repeating.

Share platter starter and Share platter desserts, was ok, atmosphere is great

Gereserveerd. Ontvangen door vriendelijk goed gekleed personeel. Keuze werd varkenshaas en zeebaars. Deze werden op juiste wijze opgediend. Heerlijk gegeten. Locatie bevind zich tegenover de basiliek op de markt met voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Schoon sanitair.

Ondanks dat de locatie op de markt mooi is,valt voor wat je moet betalen voor een eenvoudig stukje biefstuk met een beetje friet, waar je overigens voor moet bijbetalen totaal niet in verhouding is voor de prijs die je daar voor moet betalen.A€34. Hoe durf je die prijzen daar voor te vragen.

Het eten is altijd lekker op dit adresje maar er zijn toch ook wel aandachtspunten. De prijs is zeker niet laag maar de bediening laat te wensen over (onervaren, beetje onhandig) en bij een hoofdgerecht moet je bijv frietjes weer apart bestellen. De kwaliteit van het eten is echt goed maar voor hun prijsniveau mag je betere bediening verwachten en net iets grotere porties zonder dat je nog frietjes los moet bijbestellen voor 5,-

Cosy terrace. No need to book. Busy though! Plenty and extremely friendly service. The tenderloin is suckable. Great.

Delicious BURGERmeester with tuffle fries

Weer een fijne maaltijd gehad. Samen namen we een bruschetta in 3 soorten. Zowel die met tonijn als de tomaat heerlijk, de 3e: steak tartaar top. Daarna nam mijn partner nog een brioche met tartaar en een kwartelei, prima. Ikzelf nam 2 sliptong met notenboter, best apart maar heel lekker van smaak. De kool vond ik redelijk. De frietjes heerlijk. Ook de witte wijn uitstekend.

Good food but you get very little value for your money.

Eating at De Burgemeester is always a success. In addition to the cozy conservatory, where dogs are welcome, there is an indoor area and a large terrace. Reservations are recommended, it is busy every day. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the price/quality ratio, it is all right. The tournedos in the photo was 150 grams. You can choose how many grams you want.

Heerlijk buiten op het terras in het zonnetje geluncht met 2 collega’s. Het 13-uurtje en de bruine boterhammen met geitenkaas en de Bourgondische kroketten gingen er met veel smaak in.

We enjoyed dinner here last Sunday. It is a cozy restaurant where you can sit both outside and inside. There is also a kind of conservatory. You sit inside but it is a bit lighter. We opted for a curry soup and asparagus soup. The latter is seasonal. They were both tasty. Then a Tournedos and lamb fillet. These were also excellently prepared. The layout of the plates is also very nice. The desert was a dame blanche. Original in a kind of small flower pot, but made of chocolate. Service was smooth and nice. Parking in the area was also no problem. At least it was free on that Sunday. I'm not sure if this is also the case on other days. Definitely recommended.

Priced higher, but not overpriced. Service is first class. When it comes to food, 1 star deducted due to the choice of rolls, but I also felt like having a burger today and not good food. And a deduction for the ambience because, strangely enough, it feels a bit drafty 😅.

Duurde lang voordat ze kwamen vragen wat we wouden drinken en toen duurde het weer lang tot we het kregen en toen we eten wouden bestellen hebben we daar n uur gewacht dus we waren gewoon gegaan. (Ze waren gewoon de hele tijd aan het kletsen)

This afternoon we had a lovely lunch with the two of us at restaurant De Burgemeester. Unfortunately there was some confusion with the lunch menu: upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to see the lunch menu - we said yes. Then, as we sat and ordered our drinks, that question was asked again… and again when we got the drinks. A bit strange, maybe there was some communication missing? The food was very tasty and certainly not expensive, so compliments for that. Furthermore, the service was friendly, although at one point I had to ask for a new fork and a second drink because there was no service in sight. Nevertheless, a great place and delicious food!

Nice and very attractive restaurant located on the Markt in Oirschot, practically under the church. We ended up here by chance around lunchtime on a drizzly Monday. To our surprise, the restaurant was well filled. From the extension conservatory you have a nice view of the market. The service is alert and friendly. We ate a croque madam and the shrimp croquettes. Both dishes arrived quickly and tasted great. Highly recommended in Oirschot

We came to Oirschot by chance and the terrace of De Burgemeester looked nice! And from drinks came food with a nice glass of wine and hospitable service. The risotto with tuna is highly recommended, as is the fish salad! The icing on the cake for us was the delicious and our favorite Bernardus chardonnay by the glass! In short, definitely a return for us!

Went for dinner last Saturday and there is only one word that summarizes Restaurant Burgemeester Oirschot and that is “fantastic”. The dishes, ambiance, service (a nice blonde woman in her late 20s, she helped me perfectly) and appearance: everything was fantastic! I'll definitely be back!

On a Sunday evening in mid-summer with lovely summer weather, it is of course very busy on every terrace. This made our run-up to food take longer. It seemed like logistics were not in order. And we sat inside, in the conservatory, with open doors to the terrace... nicotine fumes came over our table, even though the waiter said that they had asked not to smoke near the conservatory. Unfortunately. The food is good, you create the atmosphere yourself, and the service still has something to learn.

Gezellig op het terras gegeten. Met een kleine terrasverwarmer hebben we heerlijk gegeten. Ik had een kipsalade en mijn vriendin de salade gegrilde tonijn en de andere vriendin had de gewone gegrilde tonijn met frietjes. En als toetje had ik de bastogneparfait en de vriendinnen het kaasplankje. Verrassend lekker.

Gerechtjes waren op zich prima. Aan de kleine kant voor de mannen in het gezelschap. De service was daarentegen wel zeer matig. We kwamen als familie afsluiten na een uitvaart, dan hoop je nog een fijne afsluiting van de dag te hebben met elkaar. Eenmaal achter in een zaaltje plaatsgenomen, duurde het even voordat we drinken konden bestellen, maar wat al helemaal lang duurde was het wachten op de menukaart. Na welgeteld 45 minuten kregen we de kaart uitgereikt. Tussen elk gerecht duurde het ook nog lang. Het uitserveren van de gerechten verliep ook niet denderend. Een van de familieleden wilde enkel de carpaccio en niks anders. Deze werd zonder te vragen geïnterpreteerd als hoofdgerecht in plaats van als voorgerecht. Je zou verwachten dat ze het óf vragen óf gewoon als voorgerecht serveren. Dat ze het als hoofdgerecht zouden serveren, was ons niet bekend. Dus wij waren nog in de veronderstelling dat we een gerechtje mistte. En toen we omdraaide om dit aan de dames te vragen, stonden ze elkaar te high fiven omdat het uitserveren van de eerste gang was gelukt?! De chateaubriand kon enkel door twee personen besteld worden. Het mocht niet door 1 persoon. Er heerste bij het uitserveren van de hoofdgerechten wat verwarring en een van de gasten moest opperen om even terug te lopen naar de keuken om het na te vragen… Ook nog een aantal keer lang gewacht op drinken. Met excuus dat het terras voor ook vol zat en de bar het druk had. Je zou denken dat je met 26 graden én een grote reservering een extra personeelslid neerzet… Een keertje geweest, maar wat ons betreft niet nog een keer. Uiteindelijk met het gezelschap wél gezellig gehad.

Nice restaurant in the heart of atmospheric Oirschot. Very tasty food, very friendly and fast service. The amuse was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommended to go here!! You can also have a delicious lunch on the terrace, with a view of the church tower. For lunch, the 1 p.m. is highly recommended. With curry soup, bouncer, croquette and smoked salmon toast. Delicious!

De burgermeester heeft een zeer agressieve verkoopstijl. Ik werd in 5 minuten 3 keer gevraagd of ik nog iets wilde drinken terwijl ik nog een halfvol glas had. Dit geeft je het gevoel dat ze alleen in je portemonnaie geïnteresseerd zijn en niet in de klant

Outside on the terrace, the patio heater on the table by the door was on. This was not done for us and the ladies had no motivation to place a second order. Fine. Then we pay what we owe, don't tip and are not inclined to come back.

Wij hadden al enkele keren geluncht bij de burgemeester. De laatste keer echter was het gewoon niet oké! We bestellen meestal de club sandwich, niet super slecht maar men kon merken dat het niet vers was. De basis komt gewoon uit de koelkast en die basis leuken ze dan op zodat het net gemaakt is. Door mijn ervaring weet ik dat dit zo is ook al vertelde de serveerster dat het niet zo was. Maar goed, een koelkast smaak is geen aanrader… gemiste kans wederom.
