Yesterday we ate again at the Grillerije. The restaurant is currently in a Valentine's atmosphere. It was a busy evening, but apart from the slightly cramped table layout (which has since been adjusted), I didn't notice anything. The friendly young waiters, Lieke and Jarno, ensured that your glass never remained empty and the food was served quickly. A nice combination of young staff managed by more experienced employees. The food was delicious. We come more often, it's nice that the menu is regularly updated. All in all a successful evening, we will definitely come again.

Had a delicious meal last night at De Grillerije in Franeker, and it was definitely worth repeating! The menu is extensive, which made choosing quite difficult - everything sounded delicious. Ultimately we opted for a good piece of meat, which was wonderfully tender and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere in the restaurant is friendly and cozy, just as you would hope. We were able to chat without it being too busy or noisy. The attractive interior also gave a warm appearance. The service was friendly and attentive – Arja helped us all evening with a smile and made sure we didn't want for anything. Mona also stopped by for a chat, which made it extra personal and pleasant. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. All in all, a successful evening and certainly a place we would like to return to!

We enjoyed the hospitality of Arja and Mona and colleagues. A restaurant with old-fashioned hospitality and atmosphere. The kids love it, because the choice is huge. From mixed grill to pizza to the famous Grillerije pot. And we all love the nachos. Highly recommended to visit, as a family, or together without kids. Due to the intimacy in the restaurant, you are not bothered by other guests and you do not notice that it is busy. Wonderful place if you are easily overstimulated. The restaurant's decoration changes regularly, which makes it a pleasure every time to come and enjoy the delicious food!! See you soon.

What a nice entrance into a very nicely decorated restaurant. Reception and service were very friendly. Delicious food!! Plenty of choice and more than enough food on the plate. We didn't have to wait long for our food. We were asked several times if we wanted something to drink, great! The children really enjoyed being able to drink with a long straw + choosing a gift at the end! Had a very positive experience!

Today we had dinner with Pake and Beppe, a beautiful table was set, a friendly welcome from Arja and her team! Also super friendly service during dinner. The chef has also lived up to her reputation and ate the tip of my fingers 😜🤣 So if you want to have a nice, pleasant evening, you have to go to Mona, or the Grillerije

Atmospheric luxury restaurant with extensive menu. We were 3 people, we all had something different but we agreed that the quality of the meat is high. The quantity was also fine. Friendly service. It is very busy on weekends, so make sure to make a reservation. Paid parking in the area.

Our neighbors found it very nice to be with them, going out for dinner in the center of Frjentsjer!! (In hindsight never knew you could eat so deliciously there!) It was "awesome.,, Very by very 👌

Nicely decorated, staff also went along with the decoration. We waited more than an hour for our food, which was a long time with a 4-year-old child, the steak was fine, my wife's salmon was unfortunately dry. Reported, nothing done. If you have a gluten allergy, you won't get any sauce with it...it's definitely a defect.

Wat hebben we genoten met zijn vijven. Onze verzorg opa van 91 kon Halloween niet, hij vond het geweldig om te zien hoe het restaurant was omgetoverd in een spookhuis 👻 We hadden een prachtig plekje bij het raam. Het eten was op en top!! Complimenten aan de kok!! Mijn kinderen vonden het fantastisch dat het personeel zo mooi verkleed waren. Al met al alles samen een 10❣️ Tot een volgende keer 🍽️

Alles was in het teken van Halloween, tot het personeel als de menukaart toe. Het eten was heel erg lekker. De bediening was top en heel vriendelijk. Onze puppy was ook welkom en we kregen een rustig plekje voor haar.

We had a delicious meal here tonight with 9 men/women. The welcome was very pleasant, kind and courteous at the same time. The decor is beautiful, just like the plates and cutlery. The ambiance is just perfect. The food sublime. Super tasty and nice full portions. Atmosphere and tastefully decorated. Side dish, baked potatoes, fries, stewed pears and twice something salad-like. There were also delicious grilled vegetables on the plates for decoration. I had the lamb. It must be said that I have rarely, if ever, had such delicious lamb. The desserts and starters are also more than worth it. Our nacho lover thought they were the best nachos she has ever had. And the dessert lovers wanted to go back tomorrow for another dessert and I would recommend everyone to follow them, because this restaurant is worth a long drive.

In één woord: fantastich. Wij waren met een groep van 9 personen. We hadden voor, hoofd en nagerecht. De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk en hoffelijk. De bediening was erg aardig, behulpzaam en vlot. De ambiance is geweldig. Het eten was super lekker en mooi opgemaakt. Geen liflafjes maar gewoon lekkere volle porties. Mooi bestek en borden. De werking tussen achter en voor was goed en soepel. Een met wd40 gesmeerde machine zullen we maar zeggen. Iedereen was zeer tevreden en de nachos waren volgens onze nachokenner de lekkerste die ze ooit had gehad. Dit restaurant is een absolute aanrader en de moeite waard om er vanuit de verre omtrek heen te rijden

We had dinner here for the first time tonight, we had made a reservation a day in advance, because afterwards we had a performance in the theater 130m away, so that was a great option. What a treat it was to be a guest here. I quote my words here, which I also said to the lady at the counter....Ridiculously Delicious. The ambiance... a place in the fishbowl, the music in the background and the food, because that's what it's all about in the end... everything was just right. A big 10 as far as we are concerned, we will definitely come back here for a good meal, we are happy to drive 60km for that. Met 6 personen ivm ons 25 jarig jubileum gegeten. Topgerechten die niet te ingewikkeld zijn, fijne brasserie-sfeer, klantbeleving waar de meeste Michelin restaurants nog een puntje aan kunnen zuigen en hele mooie portionering. Vlak voor onze nagerechten kwam de gastvrouw nog langs met vuurwerk en een aantal likeurtjes van het huis en een bord waarop “25 jaar samen” stond geschreven. Erg attent en een fantastische avond gehad. Een absolute toptent die er bovenuit steekt in de Noordwesthoek van Friesland!

We hadden een heerlijk plekje op terras tegen het pand aan. Het eten was erg lekker. Volgens mijn man die de carpaccio vooraf had de lekkerste die hij gegeten had. Was een goed begin dus die een zeer goed vervolg had. Was een gezellige avond met leuke bediening.

Supervriendelijke bediening, gezellige zaak, kei lekker eten voor een eerlijke prijs… Eerst zaten we op het terras, maar dat werd al gauw wat fris: “Geen probleem, u tafeltje binnen is voor u gereserveerd!” Het was helemaal top! We hebben ervan genoten…

Wat een geweldige restaurant. Vriendelijke personeel die echt hun best doen als je een allergie hebt. Niet van we zullen even kijken,nee er werd apart wat gemaakt waar het product niet inzat terwijl de persoon gewoon het zelfde at. En wat er aan tafel kwam was heerlijk niets op aan te merken.Zeker de moeite waard Onze zoon van 10 zei zelf dat het top personeel en restaurant is waar het eten geweldig is.

Even though we had not made a reservation, we were able to go on a Saturday evening. We sat above delicious korl! (just a bit too cool, but after asking the waiter to turn the air conditioning from 18 to 21 °C, it was nice and cool!) The food was very tasty and the service very nice. Nice atmospheric decor, nice music and a spacious table and spaciously set up too, the chairs were comfortable. 2 downsides: the cocktail was really nasty, even after we indicated this and a new one was brought. It really didn't taste like a mojito and wasn't cool (lukewarm even), so there is still room for improvement. And after we ordered our food, it took over 45 minutes before it was served. We also had a good meal here!

Heerlijk gegeten! Ook hele vriendelijke bediening. De Rib Eye’s waren perfect bereidt en het assortiment bijgerechten was top. Goede prijskwaliteit verhouding voor de gerechten alleen een klein schaaltje extra mayo kost €1,50.

This restaurant is located in a beautiful old building, on the Groenmarkt, in the old historic center of Franeker. I had a really delicious meal here (mixer grill), and there was a nice cozy atmosphere. In addition, the service was very nice and smooth. I also liked the local Planeten special beers (enhancing the atmosphere). Recommended if you are in Franeker 👍

Everything here deserves a big 0! The spareribs were mostly overcooked and dry. And soy sauce tastes really good when cut back. It also took another 45 minutes for the order and then at least an hour for the delivery. No chef in sight just a few young girls who don't know what they are doing. This was the second time I visited this intimate, cosy and tastefully styled bistro-restaurant in the lovely city Franeker, and experienced an even better overall impression compared to what made me go again. Reception and service make you feel happy at once, and is outstandingly attentive. They know how to prepare a really excellent rare top-steak, like in Southern Europe. Prices are in line with the quality delivered. The menu might offer more fish-dishes. Drinks are on the same high level. Strongly recommended. Super tasty food, nice atmosphere and quick service. We had the appetizer tasting and the surf and turf we saw very tasty dessert. But we were too full to order this as well. So we ended with a coffee and cappuccino and even this came with all kinds of goodies. To be repeated. And then we will certainly opt for such a beautiful dessert

We ate here with my family to celebrate my stepfather's birthday. The atmosphere is so cozy and quiet (we were on the 2nd floor) so we really had a nice time! We are satisfied with the service and the food and I would love to come back here again!

Vandaag weer bij de grillerij gegeten. Zoals gewoonlijk was het weer fantastisch!!! Heerlijke tapas stond er op het menu. Jammer alleen is dat je niet meer sterren kan geven want die verdienen ze zeker!!!

Bij binnenkomst kon je gelijk genieten van de gezellig sfeer. Je kon echt merken dat er veel tijd en aandacht is besteed aan het interieur en zijn bekleding. Daarnaast was het personeel zeer gastvrij en het eten verrukkelijk. Ik zou hier zeker nog een keer willen eten of eventueel willen bestellen. Het was mijn geld zeker waard, ook als er gekeken wordt naar de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Spontan Freitag Abend noch einen Tisch bekommen. Service effektiv, unaufdringlich und darauf ausgelegt ein ruhiges, angenehmes Dinner zu erleben/genießen. Wir haben uns zu zweit 3 Gänge geteilt. Dies war ohne Probleme möglich (extra Gedeck). Alle Speisen waren ausgesprochen schön angerichtet und extrem lecker, das Fleisch sehr zart! Getränke ebenso lecker (Ginger Ale mit frischer Minze, Zitrone). Am Nachbartisch gab es die Tapas für 2. Das war wohl zu viel des Guten. Da ging einiges zurück weil die Menge nicht geschafft werden konnte. Sah aber alles sehr ansprechend aus! Große Empfehlung des Restaurants!

De Tomahawk besteld via thuisbezorgd. Wat een ding! 1kg vlees(!!) Snel bezorgd (ondanks dat het zaterdag was) door een vriendelijk dame. Vlees was prima op temperatuur, zeker een aanrader!

Staat voor mij bovenaan de lijst, zeker aan te bevelen. 👍

Eten besteld via thuisbezorgd, portie spareribs en peperpotje beide met friet. Patat kwam slof aan aangezien het in een dichte zak zat. Het peperpotje was geen eten en de spareribs waren ook erg karig. Voor 54 euro hadden we zeker meer verwacht. Erg jammer Bezorging was prima
