Coffee and apple pie are fine, but it could be even better by taking the chill out of the apple pie.

We reserved a table for 4 people at 7:00 PM. It wasn't busy; there was still plenty of room. We ordered drinks and a bread basket first, which arrived quite quickly. Around 7:45 PM, we were asked what we wanted to eat, placed our order, and finally received our order at 9:15 PM. What terribly slow and unfriendly staff! We were yelled at when we finally went to ask how much longer it would take. So, never eating at Loet again. A very bad experience, unfortunately.

Cozy little restaurant, nice ambiance, good menu, and friendly and efficient service. This is highly recommended if you are in the area.

Lovely spot to unwind after a walk in the nearby Loetbos or when your stomach starts rumbling while traveling along the N210. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. Highly recommended if you go there for lunch: the Surinamese chicken sandwich. Delicious and more than enough!

Planning to have a nice lunch, because it's my brother's birthday! It is Whit Monday and the weather is going to be nice, so we decided to make a reservation a few days in advance. Upon arrival, we were shown a few tables to choose from. We took a seat at one, and when someone finally came to our table for a drink after 15 minutes, we were casually told that if we wanted something to eat, it would take well over an hour! And then the menu was never brought again.... Luckily, we had already decided to leave after our drinks. This is ridiculous! Why make a reservation then?? If you can't handle the number of people, you should set up fewer tables and turn people away. Thanks for ruining this birthday! I am never coming here again.

I've eaten here three times now, and it's time to write a review. First of all, the food was truly delicious. Nothing to complain about. We had salmon fillet, schnitzel, ribeye, and pork tenderloin. Everyone enjoyed it. Carpaccio was also very tasty. Desserts: dame blanche, apple strudel. All very delicious. One major drawback, in our opinion, was that every dish is served with fries and potato gratin. However, this was only one small dish of each, per table. For four people. A bit of a shame. What wasn't so good was the service. Unfortunately, but true. It took an incredibly long time, and we also found some of the servers very laconic. Their approach to guests was somewhat disinterested. (Maybe this is supposed to be funny?). I can imagine this location being a great place for cyclists and hikers to stop for a coffee. However, as a long stop, it's not particularly special along the road. We sat outside, which was great. The terrace is spacious, and you're not sitting on your neighbors' laps, a big plus! In short, a nice location, but we won't be eating here again anytime soon. However, for a quick pit stop with coffee and cake, this is a perfect spot. It is a bit pricey, though. But hey, if you're eating out, you shouldn't worry about that. You're better off eating at home. Kind regards, Max

In de 40 jr dat we er komen waren er verschillende uitbaters En ging het van erg eenvoudig maar goed naar erg slecht . Men lijkt er op te teren dat het de enige locatie is waar je wat kan nuttigen Het terras is vorig jaar gehalveerd en is prive parkeerplaats voor de achterwonende familie en men mag je fiets er plaatsen Het eten was is bar slecht van Te dun geschilde asperges tot koude gebakken eieren op piep kleine wat klein uit gevallen niet dag vers brood . Er hangt een sfeer van liefdeloosheid voor het horeca vak Ik raad van deze locatie alleen de parkeer plaats aan . maar wil je een lekkere lunch of diner stap in de auto en rij door naar Lekkerkerk Daar zit een door down gedreven cafe restaurantje waar ze van je bezoek een feestje maken wat de Loet be betreft ? Aan de oudere al jaren in dienst zijnde bediening kun je merken dat ze het ook afschuwelijk vinden de zaak zo te moeten draaien . Heeel erg spijtig

Niet klantvriendelijk. Mijn moeder wilde graag asperges met patat omdat ze geen vlees lust. Dit kon niet omdat asperges alleen naast een hoofdgerecht gekozen kon worden. Flauw omdat er 2 andere gasten waren die wel een hoofdgerecht bestelden. Niet hartelijk en flexibel.

Door Recreatiegebied De Loet loopt een prachtige korte wandeling, ruim 3 km en heel gevarieerd. Ervoor/erna een stop bij Restaurant De Loet, ideaal. Een prima plek, heel relaxed en eten/drinken van goede kwaliteit. Alleen begint de prijs er nu wel wat 'de pan uit te rijzen', Eur 15 voor een belegd broodje en wat sla, toch wat buiten proportie. Dus maar toch wat minder vaak naar De Loet, Helaas.

Familie brunch voor alle leeftijden. Gezellig, bijgrip voor alle wensen en mensen. Bediening vriendelijk en attent . Opstellen van menu samen met chef. Tevens omgeving met Loet Bos om lekker wandeling voor of naar lekker etentje.

My mother and I both ordered chocolate milk today. Where you can melt a stick of chocolate in whipped warm milk. There was a lot of milk in relation to the chocolate. Some people like this, my mother doesn't like this. We said this in a calm tone to the clerk, she said "it could happen" and walked away, which we thought was strange. Then we went to pay. There were no prices on the chocolate milk menu so we asked how much it cost and got the answer "four as much". Then I saw at checkout that the chocolate milk without whipped cream costs 5.25 (with whipped cream 5.75). I said this to the same clerk because we had to pay more than we had been told, again I got the answer "it can happen". Misunderstandings happen, it's all about how you deal with misunderstandings. I am disappointed in these responses and lack of resolution. Two stars instead of one because the interior and music are atmospheric. Now we still have to work on better communication and reliability.

Bad experience Our food was served cold, and the service order was strange: we got the food first and only when we were done did the drinks arrive. The cook did not look hygienic and the staff was unfriendly. All in all not a nice experience. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Leuke en gezellige plek om na een verfrissende boswandeling even wat te drinken. Aardig personeel. Alleen jammer dat de prijzen vrij hoog liggen voor simpele dingen als een plakje cake of een fristi.

After a long walk in the Loetbos, we had a nice lunch here on the terrace (bouncer). The service was very smooth and friendly, so we even had time for tea and a delicious cake (before the bus arrived).

Cycled here today to enjoy a drink on the terrace. After 21 minutes we left again because no one came to help us despite asking an employee to do so. It may be just us, but the time between arrival and service can never be that long.

Lunch with classic club sandwich. Served in a deep plate. Very inconvenient. Probably to prevent the many chips from falling off the board. Slices of chicken fillet are cut way too thick, fried bacon is tough and not crispy as it should be. No choice of white or brown bread. All in all, far from a top club sandwich...

We hadden vandaag de ertwensoep genomen. Deze soep was goed van smaak, was goed van temperatuur en ruim voldoende voor een lunch. De prijs was ook zeker niet hoog. Daar waren we zeer tevreden over. We hadden daarna ook nog gebak genomen. Helaas was er iets mis met mijn gebakje. Er zat iets in wat er niet in thuishoorde. Dat hebben we gemeld. Ik kreeg prompt een nieuw gebakje en hoefde voor het gebak niet te betalen. Ook niet voor het nieuwe gebakje. Prima service. We komen graag nog een keer terug. Ook omdat het gezellig is en de bediening goed is. Wat oudere reviews hebben het over een verouderd interieur en toilet. Dat is al jaren niet meer zo.

Op terras wijntje gedaan. Glas moeten afdekken vanwege de kleine vliegjes. Niet raar wanneer je ziet hoe vies het allemaal is. Maar geen borrelhap besteld omdat het er niet fris is.

Rendez vous met echtgenote die met de hond bij de Loet gewandeld had. Zij had alvast een glas rose met een salade Nicoise besteld en ik heb er twee glazen bier van de tap aan toegevoegd terwijl echtgenote nog een Capuccino nam als toetje. Totale rekening € 32,75 en dat vind ik buitensporig.

Na een wandeling in het Loetbos, geluncht bij de Loet. Gezellig druk . Een aanrader het brood met 2 kaasqrocketten met rucola.

Prima gelunched we zijn alleen erg geschrokken van de prijs.Dat jullie er aan moeten verdienen snappen we.Maar dit hebben we nog nooit meegemaakt.En geen kipsate in een restaurant is ook geen ster waard.

Moest heel lang wachten op het eten en de omelet bestond hoofdzakelijk uit kaas ipv eieren.. kleine boterhammetjes.

Beetje teleurstellend. Moest (na een tijdje over het hoofd gezien zijn, terwijl het niet druk was) vragen om aandacht. Ik bestelde Hertog Jan Weizener 30cl, wat op de kaart stond. Dat kon niet, er werd alleen maar de 50 cl geschonken. (waren de 30 cl glazen op??). Toen ik de 50 cl geserveerd kreeg was deze ook niet netjes volgeschonken: veel te veel schuim. Kortom: wilde 30cl, kreeg 40 cl, betaalde voor 50 cl. Niet netjes.

Verrassend lekker eten tegen een eerlijke prijs en met erg prettig personeel. De sfeer is gemoedelijk, de inrichting voor sommigen mischien wat druk. Toch kun je er rustig een kopje koffie drinken, lekker lunchen of dineren. Het restaurant bestaat al heel lang en ligt bij het Loetbos, waar je heerlijk kunt recreëren te voet, met de fiets en zelfs met de aanwezige kano's. Het restaurant De Loet is dan een prettig rustpunt.

Na een heerlijke wandeling gegeten bij De Loet en wat fijne verrassing was dat! We hebben uit het “Uit Liefde” menu gekozen en het was heerlijk! Ook de bediening was top! Vooral “die blonde” (😉)!

Eten is er eigenlijk altijd goed, en altijd gezellig, en zeker als je mooi weer hebt.

Smakelijke lunch, heerlijke rosé. Leuke locatie en dame die ons van eten en drinken voorzag is top.

Erg gezellig en gemoedelijk restaurant. Je kan buiten zitten, rondom onder een luifel en binnen. Gezellig dorpse sfeer, aardige dames voor de bediening, lekker eten zowel de lunch als het avond eten. Ook gezellig om koffie te drinken en daarna een borrel, wijntje of een biertje. Zeker een aanrader!!

Het stonk naar riool lucht binnen. Wij hebben buiten onze lekkere cappuccino gedronken.

Na koude wandeling lekker warme chocolademelk gedronken met iets lekkers erbij. Heerlijke verse warme melk met een choco lolly. Super geserveerd, fijn en vriendelijk personeel.

Nieuwe inrichting. De tafeltjes staan iets te dicht op elkaar bij de bar.

Gezellig, heerlijk eten en vriendelijk personeel. Ook de hond is welkom!
