Wednesday night is prawn night at Duinhoek. They were delicious. Add to that the beautiful location and the friendly service, and you have a truly fantastic evening.

Enjoyed a lovely midday snack on the cozy terrace. It was delicious, and the service, as always, was extremely friendly.

The ambiance is beautifully designed and invites you to linger outside or in the high-quality interior. The service was fast and very attentive. The open kitchen invites curious visitors to peek in on the preparation of the dishes. The menu is straightforward and well-curated. The presentation of the individual dishes is well-executed and makes you want to try the menu even more. We ordered the burger, various fries, spare ribs, risotto, and prawns with pasta and fish. The ribs were gone so quickly that we immediately ordered them again. The fish, pasta, and risotto were excellent. The burger was beautifully presented, and the meat was delicious. Unfortunately, the brioche bun was a bit too crispy and almost as crunchy as a rusk on the bottom. Since the rest of the food was excellent, we easily overlooked this. We were very impressed and would gladly come back.

We had a wonderful wedding reception with 50 guests in the restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. All our arrangements were met. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our party, Ans and Willem.

We had a wonderful gin and tonic tasting, with delicious dishes and some pleasantly surprising gin and tonic creations. Even non-alcoholic options were available.

Highly recommended. The food was delicious but also very expensive. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Everything was very pleasant. Unfortunately, we could only sit on the terrace because our dogs weren't allowed in the restaurant. I was surprised, as the restaurant itself is very dog-friendly. So, our joy of good food was somewhat dampened by having to sit outside in the cold. But as a dog owner, you just have to accept the suffering.

Cosy restaurant. Good service. Too bad there is not much variety on the menu when it comes to meat. I would rather have chicken or something like that and that is not available. Then you have to eat fish or vegetarian right away. You have to like that too.

We had a delicious meal in this nice and attractive restaurant. My wife ordered the sea bass and I ordered the catfish, both were well prepared, refined and very tasty, a lot of attention was paid to the presentation, the flavors were nicely balanced, the different textures also gave the dish a pleasant experience, the service was very hospitable, you immediately feel at home. In short, this restaurant pleasantly surprised us.

Lovely sitting on the terrace. Perfect terrace and good service! High tea was well taken care of with fresh products. We enjoyed it. As a conclusion, a delicious cocktail was made. Custom cocktail and not a standard cocktail that you can get anywhere. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

What a nice restaurant. Ate on Christmas Day and it was so delicious. 5 course menu and everything prepared with care. Nice and warm at your table, so you can enjoy a nice meal together. Wine arrangement made it complete Especially how they bring this to the table, the waiter talks about it with passion. Staff is super enthusiastic and nice. The restaurant is attractive and everyone has their own table, which can be enjoyed very privately. You will receive a warm welcome upon arrival. When we left, I received a nice gift for the tree. In short, highly recommended to visit again.

For the first time Christmas Day, ate in restaurant Duinhoek. Warm welcome, spacious seating, not too close together, quiet background music, good explanation of the menu courses, friendly staff. All in all, a nice evening, definitely recommended.

Very pleasantly surprised on Christmas Day with a beautiful location, tables well spaced out for privacy, nice menu with 5 courses, wine selection included, good explanation about the wine that was served, nice service that served quickly and also signs the plates and glasses used got. There were 4 people and we were surprised by the quality and courteous service, we will definitely come back, big compliments for this very nice evening.

Excellent restaurant, when we arrived we were immediately greeted and seated. For me, who is pregnant, they prepared the dishes safely for my baby without making any request, the waiters were very nice and very helpful, we had a really nice time! To eat: Our 3 teenagers ordered the pulled pork burger. I tried it myself and it just didn't taste good. Far too sweet, too experimental and returning almost full plates and saying that it didn't taste good was just passed on to the kitchen. A dish was completely forgotten so a guest had to eat alone 30 minutes later. The other 3 dishes, however, were very tasty. Service: was courteous, unfortunately the weaknesses mentioned above Ambience: The music was quite loud and almost disturbing, and the dark atmosphere was rather oppressive on a summer evening. Overall: spent a lot of money on my birthday dinner and took guests back who were still hungry.

Beautiful restaurant with super tasty food. And what service! Passionate team with a nice atmosphere. Wine list is also very good with extensive information. But this is not all, they have a special children's menu with delicious dishes. Children learn here what healthy food is and not just another croquette. Definitely recommended for a meal. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

If you are looking for a chill-out place, with great decor and, most importantly, clean, I recommend it wholeheartedly. The staff has great contact with customers, they are very nice. Delicious food. The Tagine dish and the tiramisu were really delicious. Very pleasant service and a knowledgeable and passionate wine connoisseur. The recommended wines matched the food perfectly. We also think it has a beautiful interior. So very successful. The first time for us. We are not from the area, but if we are ever in the area again we would like to visit again.

With great surprise we had a fantastic meal here, you soon think, "oh, a little park restaurant." Small but delicious menu that is suitable for passionate chefs. Everything is served hot and that can sometimes be the case, but not here. Tasted 4 dishes, one big feast. Visited many restaurants in and around Hellevoetsluis, but this one is really a winner. We will definitely come back.

After two weeks we went to the Duinhoek Restaurant for dinner again. It was as always: friendly, attentive, fast, cozy atmosphere and of course totally delicious!!! 🌸🌸 We can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant. We are already looking forward to the next time: the spaghetti prawns and the starter for 2 people are a culinary delight. Thanks to the lovely team for so much kindness ♥️

A very nice, beautiful and good restaurant hidden in Hellevoetsluis. If you don't know it, you won't think to go there, but we enjoyed a fantastic dinner in a pleasant atmosphere and exceptionally good and friendly service. Highly recommended to visit.

Very modern restaurant with a lot of feel-good atmosphere and a great outdoor terrace in summer. The service was quick, unobtrusive and personable. The quality of the food combined with the ambience justifies the prices. The kitchen is very familiar with allergens and tries to accommodate all requests. Would love to come back.

The food was very tasty but you had to wait a long time for the food and drinks. The wait for the bill also took forever, even though there were a lot of employees there but it wasn't very busy. I have the feeling they were too overwhelmed

My first visit... I like beautifully prepared dishes and had no expectations of a restaurant near a bungalow park. My expectations were exceeded in all aspects. Okay, it was a bit quiet on a weekday evening, but the decor and service were more than average. In addition, the dishes were beautiful and tasty. The wines made it complete. Unbelievable that this quality seems so well hidden. It is difficult to find in the immediate vicinity of Rotterdam. Highly recommended: scallop with Zeeland bacon, samphire and parsnip cream. As a local, I really enjoy coming here. In summer my experience was already great, and even in winter the kitchen surpasses itself with great dishes. The scallops and duck are highly recommended!

We zijn met vrienden wezen dineren. De ontvangst was erg vriendelijk. De bediening is zeer goed. En ook het eten is perfect.

Wij zijn op 9 september 2023 getrouwd op restaurant & evenementenlocatie Duinhoek, zowel de huwelijksvoltrekking, het diner en de feestavond hebben plaatsgevonden op deze prachtige lokatie. Al vanaf het eerste moment heeft Roos ons het gevoel gegeven dat de Duinhoek al onze wensen waar kon maken om er een onvergetelijke dag van te maken. De communicatie richting ons is zeer positief verlopen waarbij wij met een gerust hart een grote taak voor de Duinhoek konden uitbesteden om deze dag optimaal te laten verlopen. Afgelopen zaterdag was het voor ons dan eindelijk zo ver, met een mooie zonnige dag hebben wij met circa. 40 daggasten de huwelijksceremonie en het diner doorgebracht, de gasten waren lovend over het interieur van het restaurant en de prachtige omgeving op het buitenterras. Het diner bestond vooraf uit een tweetal zelf uitgekozen soepen gevolgd door het hoofdgerecht bestaande uit diverse soorten vis en vleesgerechten. Tot slot hadden wij gekozen voor een tiramisu als dessert. Ieder gerecht maakte de verwachtingen waar. Na het diner arriveerde er nog circa. 40 avondggasten waarbij er een fantastisch feest heeft plaatsgevonden tot in de late uurtjes. De bediening en het overige personeel hebben ervoor gezorgd dat alle gasten over de gehele dag op hun wenken werden bediend. Een van de mooiste dagen uit ons leven is mede door de Duinhoek boven verwachting verlopen. ( Foto's volgen nog ).

Wij hebben er 3 avonden gegeten. Het was elke avond een feestje. Niet alleen het eten was top zeker de bediening niet vergeten. Echt lang geleden dat horecatoppers nog bestaan. Wij komen zeker terug. Voor mensen die van vis houden neem dan een keer de tonijn!!’heerijk en een mooie presentatie op je bord. Jammer dat we zo een locatie niet hebben in het gooi .

Beter dan verwacht! Eten heerlijk, personeel enorm vriendelijk en inrichting top! Tot snel weer een keer!

Wat is dit restaurant geweldig opgeknapt. Hele nieuwe moderne doch heel gezellige sfeer en ambiance aangebracht. Het eten was heerlijk, goed verzorgd en een prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Ik raad dit restaurant ten zeerste aan voor een fijn (familie) samenzijn.

Fantastisch verse mosselen, verfijnde kaart én vriendelijke service. Hier wordt echt voor je gekookt. Zeker komen eten. Ohja ook fijn terras, goede koffie en huisgemaakte taart!

Erg leuk restaurant, ligt mooi aan een vijver. Muziek precies goed goed voor de sfeer en niet te hard. De bediening was top! Erg spontaan en zorgde voor een leuke avond. Wij komen zeker terug!

Recent opnieuw mooi ingericht met een heel mooi buitenterras. De service was bij ons heel goed en attent. We hebben een verrassingsmenu van de chef genomen. Bij 2 personen was de bavet iets minder mals. Na dit gemeld te hebben kregen ze een ripeye aangeboden die heel erg mals was. Prima geregeld en opgelost.

We waren hier met happen en trappen voor het hoofdgerecht, Het was goed verzorgd en het smaakte heerlijk met leuk personeel.

Subliem eten, gezellige en gemoedelijke sfeer. Kan zowel voor koppels als in familie verband. Ook aan te raden voor mede wijnliefhebbers! Mooie presentatie kortom als we terug in de buurt zijn, zouden we opnieuw reserveren!

Die Einrichtung im Restaurant lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei und auch die Auswahl der Getränke ist reichhaltig. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Jederzeit wieder!

Het was een fijne en nette plek om te eten. Het menu van 4 gangen was erg speciaal en de bediening is fijn en snel.

Een onwijs fijne avond. Fijne sfeer, prettig licht, mooi interieur. De bediening is op een prettige manier aanwezig en verteld naar wens meer over de producten en de wijnen die ze aanbieden. Laagdrempelig en persoonlijk, maar tegelijkertijd ook voldoende zakelijk. Krachtig! De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is meer dan goed, een absolute aanrader voor een avondje dineren in Hellevoetsluis. Tot de volgende keer!
