Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, delicious food. Would gladly return. Unfortunately, we only discovered and visited it on the last day of our vacation.

The pancakes there were really incredibly tasty! I chose the Ne York pancake myself (that’s with pulled chicken, truly delicious). The staff there could do a bit better as mistakes were made sometimes, but not so bad that it spoiled the evening, far from it. In any case, it is a fantastic location to enjoy a nice meal with your family or even extended family and leave feeling satisfied.

We ate here on a very hot day. The pancakes were fantastic! The fries with Flemish beef stew, however, were not. The service forgot about us at the beginning, which was a bit of a shame. It was also very hot, I suppose. We would definitely go back for the pancakes! The atmosphere was also very good and it was very clean.

We ordered pancakes for four people. They were delicious. The service left something to be desired.

Beautiful restaurant, pleasant and good service. The time between ordering and service was not too long; they also regularly come by to take extra orders and check how things are tasting. The food was very good and the portions were just right. Definitely recommended for a meal! Just one point of attention: whether an extra ingredient could be added to the pancake, namely chicken fillet. But again, it was delicious!

The food is fine, but the service is unfriendly and mainly self-absorbed. It also took a while before we were served, while six people were standing at the bar chatting. Not a repeat visit for us. A shame, because it is a beautiful location that has the potential to become something special.

What a wonderful experience this was. We really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the quality of the food at this place. It is a cozy spot where you immediately feel at ease. Everything looked incredibly appetizing. We particularly liked the presentation on the wooden boards, including those original paper placemats with the cutlery illustrations. It was a very successful visit.

I was always a regular customer, but unfortunately, the staff's behavior on my birthday, in the presence of my guests, was very unfriendly. Although the food tasted excellent, I find it a shame that the service was so disappointing. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not have staff that matches the quality of the food.

Had a pancake and a schnitzel on the terrace, both of good quality. The terrace isn't very cozy, but it's fine in nice weather.

Seriously delicious pancakes ranging from sweet to savory. Even for those who aren't big fans or just looking for variety, there are great options like a burger or stew. The staff is incredibly friendly and fast. We come here often and enjoy it very much. Highly recommended.

It's a shame the staff didn't respond quickly. First, the beer we ordered ran out, then the person we were supposed to be celebrating was forgotten, but he was the birthday boy, and it's hard to toast without him. After that, the food had to be served faster because they close at 8:30 PM, so we had to order the pancakes and ice cream at the same time, which was a bit of a letdown. Then it was time to pay, and the employee spoke so loudly that all the guests had to hear it, while the person paying deliberately walked away from the table. Not very polite, so it really bothered me.

There were quite a few comments, or maybe it was just a coincidence; there was little staff, the girls really had to work hard. Ordered white bread with the croquettes, but received brown. Oh well, it happens, we'll just eat it. The fried egg sandwich was already cold, the bread was stale, and the second sandwich was almost thrown down while she was on the phone with a phone to her ear; not a word was said about sorry because that wasn't possible either, she was on the phone. Never experienced anything like this before, once is enough, never again!!!!!

Ate a fried egg... Not well prepared, fried at too high a temperature Yoga broken Crust on the bottom and eggs completely run out, which is usually caused by old eggs. Salad garnish not fresh and crispy.

I had a delicious salad, and my daughter's fries were absolutely AMAZING! My husband had a savory pancake, which he said was tasty. My son had a kids' pancake, which he didn't like that much, which I could understand; it was really too thick. It was flavorful, sure, but definitely too thick for those little tummies. He was full after just a quarter of a pancake. What a waste.

How do you manage to bake thick, wet, and soggy pancakes with apple or bacon? Surely you just flip them over once? Even I can bake better pancakes; maybe I should start a little restaurant too. 😂

Highly recommended! We went for dinner at Pan en Koek in Heino and were hugely impressed. Not only by the beautiful, atmospheric interior, but also by the pancakes themselves; they are truly beautiful creations and an experience in themselves. The soup beforehand was also fine, but in hindsight, the portions were so generous that a pancake followed by dessert (or just a nice cup of coffee/tea) would have been perfect too. Absolutely a place to come back to!

The place is open until half past eight; we arrived at half past seven, with no one to greet us. We wandered through the large, beautifully decorated rooms for a while until a waitress appeared. "Good evening, there are three of us and we would like to have a bite to eat." "I must warn you that the kitchen closes at eight." "Well, that seems more than enough to us." "Then you may choose a spot." Not exactly a warm welcome, and we crossed off starters, dessert, and coffee in advance... There is all sorts of things on the menu, but we chose a pancake restaurant for the pancakes. And if anything *has* to be good in a pancake restaurant, it is, of course, the pancakes. And that is where things went terribly wrong: a thick, limp, pale, tasteless slab. Nothing airy or crispy fried in butter: it looked like it had been reheated in the microwave. The vegetarian one had a rich, tasty filling (1* extra), but the one with stewed meat had only a few chunks of meat in a thin sauce (both nearly 20 euros!), and the apple pancake was an absolute travesty with thin, terrible apple slices. I make those much better at home, and they cost a fraction of the 13 euros that Pan en Koek thinks it can charge... I make those

We have visited Pan & Koek several times before, so I thought a review was in order. What a lovely place to go for a pancake (or something else tasty). The staff is very helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed the pancakes. There are nice places to sit, and the decor and atmosphere are pleasant. The staff were kind enough to pour my stepchild's dessert into a cup so he could eat it in the car; he was absolutely delighted! A big thank you to Mira!

Tonight we came home with a lump in our stomachs after our visit to Pan & Koek Heino. We first ordered nachos, which, however, were served for a hefty price in a pool of four sauces from a bottle. No real cheese and no real guacamole. We were hungry, so we stupidly ate them. Then we had the pancakes we'd already ordered. I'd rather eat a microwave pancake than what was served here. Thick slices of dough and barely cooked through. We really should have sent them back. To be honest, we did express our opinion when clearing the table. We won't be coming back here again, despite the friendly service.

The three of us thoroughly enjoyed the walking package here. We received a friendly welcome in the warm and modern restaurant, and first enjoyed a delicious, well-filled pancake. A nice touch was the generous bowl of syrup on the table. Nearby, you can enjoy lovely walks in the woods, or visit Heino or the supermarket in the woods. The food and atmosphere are great. But what I find particularly good and very important is the service provided by the staff. Today, we were mostly served by Stan. We were able to book a table at 7:15 PM through a social deal. We were given a beautiful table by the window. Our first drink order was promptly accepted, but it took about 45 minutes for our food order to arrive. We finally received our food at 8:10 PM. We had soup as a starter with an extra bread platter. It tasted great. And then we had a delicious farmer's pancake! However, it was from the pancake carousel, which made it look and taste more like a factory-made pancake. What we found annoying was that the pancake wasn't finished yet, and we were already asked if we knew what we wanted for dessert and if we wanted to order our last drink, as the bar was closing. Then, dessert was "thrown" on the table. After a few bites, we were asked to pay. The restaurant was now completely empty. The music had been turned off, and the waitresses were waiting with towels and new placemats to set our table for the next day. We quickly finished dessert and headed home. After asking if it often happens that people are practically sent home, I was told that the kitchen actually closes at 8:00 PM and that it was already running late, so they wanted to get home. Overall, the food was excellent! But this evening, the service wasn't what it should have been.

This morning my sweetheart said, "Tonight we're going to have a delicious pancake at Pan en Koek with a Social deal." After a hard day's work, we were really looking forward to it. Once there, we found a nice spot on the terrace. A friendly lady came over to ask what we'd like to drink, and the drinks were served quickly. After a while, we waved to a waitress and asked if we could order. We could, and the delicious soup arrived promptly. Then the wait began. We'd been there for an hour and hadn't seen a pancake yet. Well, we had, but they weren't for us. Three tables that had come after us were already enjoying their pancakes. I waved again and told her we'd been there an hour without pancakes. I told her we'd ordered through the Social deal last time and had a long wait then as well. Could one thing be related? The waitress confirmed this. When people come to us and order à la carte, they go first... Huh? So, besides the fact that you can only choose from three simple ingredients, you run the risk of being stuck there until you're blue in the face. We asked if we wanted a free drink, and the waitress went to ask where the pancakes were. After 12 minutes, they arrived. Not homemade. Thick and pale, and the beautiful English word "soggy" says it all. The waitress said she'd let the kitchen know I didn't like them and then come back to clear the table and ask what we'd like for dessert. You probably know what's coming next. More than half an hour later, still no waitress. Then she finally spotted one and told them they could keep the dessert and just cancel it against the two drinks, and we'd go home, since we'd only had soup and some kind of pancake in two hours. I was about to get up when I heard the waitress say she was going to settle the bill. Bill, I thought? While we were already standing, she said, "The owner says it's free. Huh? Free, what do you mean?" It was already paid for... In short, beware of Pan and Koek's cookies!

Had dinner here on a Tuesday night. It took ages to get refilled drinks. I ordered a shawarma pancake and actually had to send it back twice because it was cold. I finished it the second time because I was hungry and we'd already waited over an hour and a half for our food. I wouldn't rush back.

Pancakes don't come out of a pan; you can definitely taste that. Friendly staff. We always eat out with the kids when it's their birthday... And we always mention it in the reservation comments. This was the first time nothing was done about it... even if it was a little sparkler in his ice cream... And no, I won't go to the table and ask where my son is sitting, like, "Gosh, I wrote something in the reservation comments." That's the kind of extra service that makes you come back. Otherwise, it's pretty good, but we won't bother with it again next time.

Quiet location. We enjoyed delicious pancakes with our family. There's one outdoor play set for children, and I had to ask for the coloring book and crayons. The place was mostly older people, with few families with children.

Great pancake restaurant. I think the pancakes themselves are made on an automatic plate, which I don't like; the texture is a bit thicker and rubbery...the topping was delicious. It all went quickly, and it was fine, but I doubt I'd go back again; I don't think so.

We went to dinner on July 16th because it was our son's birthday. The second pancake was free. I did have to bring the newspaper clipping with me. (Please mention it in the newspaper, it's the polite thing to do!) We ordered a menu with fries and a frikandel. They only gave us the reserved fries. When I asked for the frikandel, it still had to be fried... and the gift wasn't included. I had to ask for it too. Really bad! And to top it all off, the lady charged a surcharge of 5 euros because we ordered a single frikandel, even though I asked for a menu. Strange! 🙄

A very nice restaurant. Unfortunately, there's no play area for children. The food was fine. The service was very poor. The waitresses were very upset that people showed up without reservations. They clearly didn't want to be there. A shame, because otherwise it's a great place for a quick bite.
