Unfortunately, when I went out for dinner tonight, to my surprise, there was no steak, tournedos, or anything similar left on the menu. Lots of fish, lamb, and spare ribs. Something I unfortunately don't like. My main course consisted of a cup of soup, but fortunately, there was a very attentive waitress who even provided bread. Very disappointing.

Great stop for a coffee and to charge the bikes. Didn't eat, but the menu and service look very promising!

Unfortunately, the prices and quality are not in proportion. We paid more than 60 euros per person. Apparently, that was too little. It is mainly about seeing and being seen here. The spareribs were raw and the dip came from a bucket. Cash is not accepted. The service is no more than strictly necessary.

Not cheap. It is annoying that, for example, fries are not included with dishes and have to be ordered separately. But then you do get a portion for about two! Fries fried with the skin on are very tasty and crispy. Spare ribs come off the bone easily but are very bland in taste. Quite a bit of waiting time between courses, and the service staff are sometimes difficult to get to the table to take an order. There is a busy walkway between Veeruus and the terrace.

We only had two lattes and a hot chocolate; the taste was good, but they were cold.

Great food at the marina. Compliments to the attentive staff. Finished the salad with asparagus and shrimp croquettes, very good! Plus point: a bowl of water for the dog.

We had a delicious meal and the woman who took and brought our order was quick-witted. Nice and quick-witted and relaxed.

Beautiful view of the harbor. Food exceptionally good. Not only fries, but also baby potatoes are available. The sea bass is highly recommended!

Everything was okay except for the shrimp croquettes. A maximum of 1 shrimp per croquette is a bit too little. The rest of the dishes were okay and the surroundings were beautiful.

It looked like a cozy, high-quality restaurant. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff friendly, but the food... It was completely out of proportion to the appearance. The menu was very limited, and if you order steak, I think you should be asked how you want it cooked. Not so, shoe-sole type! We won't be returning.

Beautiful setting, delicious dishes. When it's busy, you might have to wait, but the owner is attentive and makes up for it with a drink on the house. Meadow with a playground, sunbathing area with a small beach, and the opportunity to barbecue. Ideal.

Last night, the three of us ate here. The appetizer was a feast for the eyes and tasted delicious. The main courses were also fantastic. The portion sizes were perfect. The staff were very friendly, and we will definitely come back.

The food was okay, but €30 for spare ribs with fries? Other dishes were very limited and overpriced. If you're hungry, you should order an appetizer. A glass of wine costs between €6.50 and €7.50 and is served in thick-walled canteen glasses – they could do better! The view and service were excellent.

We were here two days ago for coffee. The coffee, as well as my wife's fresh mint tea, was very good. The tartlet with fresh strawberries, vanilla cream, and whipped cream was delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant is located right in the marina, and the outdoor terrace offers a great view of the harbor. The service was very friendly and attentive. However, some English skills are helpful here. Overall, a nice restaurant in a lovely location in the middle of the marina. We would recommend it.

Beautiful location on the harbor. Children can play right around the corner in the playground or catch jellyfish in the harbor. The food is excellent. It's a wonderful experience, especially with the doors open.

They added an expensive fish to the bill without asking, which I had not ordered.

Unfriendly service, food was subpar. We ended up waiting an hour and 45 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full. When the food finally arrived, it was still raw fish with packet sauce. We sent it back, and after 5 minutes, the same plate was arrogantly thrown on the table: the chef hadn't even bothered to reheat it; the same food had simply been microwaved. Absolutely awful.

The food was delicious! We had to wait a bit longer due to a mix-up in the kitchen, but we did get a free drink in the meantime. It was correct and delicious!

June 21, 2025 We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at t Veerhuus with Ivo Vrencken and his team. Because Ivo had made permanent adjustments for wheelchairs, walkers, etc., all our guests were able to go upstairs without any problems. Hats off! It was a wonderful evening at a beautiful location; everything was super well taken care of, with delicious snacks, etc. Congratulations to Ivo and your team, we and our guests had a fantastic evening! A lovely, cozy restaurant at the Kortgene marina. 🥰 We enjoyed a delicious, unique lunch here. The lunch platter, with a delicious soup, bread, egg, croquette, and salad, was prepared in a different, delicious way. 😋😋 It was delicious. The staff was also friendly, and we had a beautiful view of the harbor! We'll definitely be back. 😃

A restaurant where the term "harbor restaurant" is somewhat of an understatement, because in addition to its truly beautiful location in this marina, this restaurant serves delicious food, a refined ambiance, and a real "feel-good factor." Guests are very comfortable there.

A fried egg sandwich with brown bread (made from local grains) and three eggs, cheese, ham, and bacon, served with a fresh salad and a coke. Beautiful location, friendly staff, fast service, and excellent value!

I've eaten here before, but now I feel a bit ripped off, so I left a review. The website clearly states that the Sunday menu always costs €25.50 and €27.50. So, without asking or looking, I ordered the Sunday menu, and to my surprise, I was charged €34.50. I asked if we could order a bread board beforehand, to which the staff replied that bread was already included with the starter, but that they would add extra. Only halfway through the starter did we receive four slices of baguette, which we also charged €4.00 for. So either there was no bread with the starter, or the extra slice costs €2.00 per person. We're not tourists, and you can just take extra money out of your pockets; we're just locals. Unfortunately, we won't be going back anytime soon.

A wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The food is served quickly and the portions are generous. However, we found the lobster bisque not worth the price; it was extremely salty and lacked any flavor. The other dishes were delicious with appropriate accompaniments. The background music is also very pleasant.

Have had a delicious meal there several times already. Atmospheric place, tasty food, prompt and polite service. Definitely recommended for a visit.

We ate here twice during our vacation because we loved the food so much :) If you like game, this is the place to go. Of course, they also offer other dishes. The restaurant is located right on the harbor and is very stylishly decorated. Both times we were there, the service was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. The large playground next door is especially great for children.

We got married here on September 20, 2024! This location is truly beautiful, the spot in the harbor right on the Veerse Meer. We had the entire top floor at our disposal. A private entrance, a private outdoor terrace, everything to make it a wonderful day. When we first came here we fell in love immediately, we want to get married here. And that worked. We wish everyone such a beautiful place. Contact with the manager was very pleasant. Everything was negotiable and we could always ask questions. We would also like to say that a lot of thought was given to us. We were allowed to decorate the room a few days earlier to really give it our personal touch. This was also thought about and helped. On the day itself, our script was actually played out, partly thanks to the great team at Veeruus. Dinner was excellent and the plates were beautifully presented. In terms of timing, everything went perfectly. Once again our sincere thanks! We think back on it with great fondness and pleasure. For anyone who is still looking for a beautiful wedding location and great staff, definitely consider the Veeruus!

In itself a wonderful place, the staff seems to be overwhelmed, the kitchen is excellent if you don't have to wait 2 hours for the food you ordered and without apology

Had dinner at 't Uurzicht. Management had no control over it. Were dancing behind the bar or sat on a chair. There was no one to manage the young ministry. Had to wait a very long time for dessert. Despite 2 hours!! sitting there (main course and dessert) only enjoyed 1 drink. The food was good for what you would expect in terms of price. Nice location. Tip: make sure there is someone walking around to direct. There is so much more to be achieved at this location.

Surprisingly delicious dinner tonight. Beautiful summer evening on the terrace, children playing on the jetty. Good service and the food was excellent. Chose the menu of the day (grain fed rump steak) and it was great! Delicious fries with good mayo. High level for this money! The boy who served us totally got it! This stood out because of his young age. I told him that too. Keep it up! Also a very nice location for families with young children. Next to it is a playground where they can have fun while waiting. The interior is also very beautiful.

Very nice terrace, unfortunately I didn't like the smashburger with bacon at all. The bacon tasted perfumed, but the patty was completely neutral. But the fries 🍟 were really good.

Came in to Delta Marina for a few days to hide from a bit of a storm and booked a table in this restaurant ……. What a fabulous meal we had, everything cooked to perfection, whilst service was excellent even though it was a busy evening.

Everything is great, but it is ridiculous that in 2023 they force you to drink water from Italy in disposable packaging. After insisting, we got carafes of water for the price of San Pellegrino. Unnecessary commitment to pointless waste and poor start to eating. Just ask a normal price for tap water and take a still and sparkling dispenser for the tastiest drinks without single use!

In een zee van eetgelegenheden straalt dit etablissement als een astronomisch fenomeen aan het firmament van culinaire verfijning. Bij het betreden van deze gastronomische oase werd ik onmiddellijk omhuld door een aura van verfijning en verkwikking. Het decor, met zijn onberispelijke harmonie tussen klassieke grandeur en moderne verfijning, weerspiegelde de geest van tijdloze elegantie. Het subtiele spel van luxueuze stoffen, weelderige kleuren en zorgvuldig gekozen kunstwerken creëerde een ambiance die mijn ziel beroerde. Het personeel van 'T Veeruus is als een symfonie van toegewijde kunstenaars, wier harmonieus samenspel de hoogste normen van service en gastvrijheid overstijgt. Hun onberispelijke manieren en ongeëvenaarde aandacht voor detail vervulden mijn verblijf met een overvloed aan genoegens. En dan, ah, de culinaire geneugten die mijn smaakpapillen beroerden! Elk gerecht dat uit de keuken van 'T Veeruus werd gepresenteerd was als een meesterwerk van gastronomische creativiteit. De ingrediënten, met de hand geselecteerd uit de meest verfijnde hoeken van de wereld, werden op een meesterlijke wijze georkestreerd tot een dans van smaken en texturen die de zintuigen betoverden. Elk hapje was een ontdekkingsreis naar een nieuw culinair universum, een symfonie van smaak die mijn gehemelte streelde als een bries van genade. De wijnkaart van 'T Veeruus verdient eveneens de meest uitbundige lof. De selectie van edele wijnen, afkomstig uit alle uithoeken van de wereld, toonde een diepgaand inzicht in de kunst van het paren van dranken met voedsel. Elke slok was als een sensuele omhelzing van de goden, een dans van aroma's en smaken die mijn gehemelte betoverde en mijn ziel verheugde. Ten slotte wil ik nog benadrukken dat het niveau van aandacht en zorg dat in elk aspect van 'T Veeruus wordt geïnvesteerd, getuigt van een ongeëvenaard streven naar perfectie. Elk detail, hoe klein ook, wordt met de grootste zorgvuldigheid behandeld, van de met smaak samengestelde menu's tot de met liefde bereide gerechten. In mijn uitvoerige ervaring van fine dining over de hele wereld kan ik met de grootste oprechtheid zeggen dat 'T Veeruus te Kortgene zichzelf verheft tot de absolute hoogten van culinaire excellentie. Het is een plek waar dromen samensmelten met de realiteit en waar de ziel wordt gevoed met elke hap. Ik beveel 'T Veeruus ten zeerste aan.

Gezellig vertoeven maar helaas was er een oudere dame in de bediening die we extreem onvriendelijk vonden. Stonden zelfs op het punt te vertrekken.

Het eten was hier enorm lekker en prijs-kwaliteit is ook dik in orde. We hebben hier de vrijdagavond special gegeten en dit was een verfijnde maaltijd (ragout van kreeft en gamba) voor slechts 14.95 euro. Bovendien was de bediening super vriendelijk. Een echte aanrader!

We loved the service, view and food so much we decided to stay for lunch and dinner. throughout the day ordering drinks and enjoying the atmosphere and each other’s company.
