Hier genoten van een lunch op het mooi en rustig gelegen terras. Eerst werden we bij het aperitief verwend met 4 heerlijke en originele amuses. De gerechten van het daorop volgende menu waren stuk voor stuk fantastisch. Soms ongebruikelijke combinaties, zoals vis met vijgen, maar zeer smakelijke gerechten en prachtig opgemaakt, en geserveerd op leuk servies. De keuze van de nagerecht kazen is ook opmerkelijk. Geen doorsnee kaas er bij, elk kaasje was heel bijzonder. En de bediening weet precies wat ze serveren en doet dat op een prettige manier.

We hebben er voor de eerste keer gegeten en het was perfect. Hier komen wij zeker binnenkort terug. Mooie creaties geserveerd met heerlijke bijpassende wijnen.

All the dishes we had were excellent. I'd give 6 of the 7 courses a 10 and the other a 9. It's rare to go to a restaurant with such consistent excellence across all the dishes. We also appreciated the thoughtful way they adjusted the menu to account for my wife's dietary wishes. They didn't just leave out the things she doesn't like, they made thoughtful substitutions throughout the dish. For example, not only did they replace the lamb in one dish with quail, they also adjusted the sauce to match.

We spent another wonderful evening at the Holsterhof yesterday. The menu is extremely creative and, in our opinion, truly deserves its Michelin star. I also know few restaurants where the service is so warm, attentive, and unobtrusive. The beautiful ambiance also contributes to the special atmosphere. Beautiful case, completely understandable why this is the discovery of 2024 according to Gault Milau. Excellent home-made dishes with good combinations and flavors. The wine arrangement was also very good. Absolutely recommended, it is a bit hidden but it is worth the drive!

If you look at the menu you don't have much choice. Lunch 4 or 5 courses, dinner 3,4,5 or 6 courses. On closer inspection it looks more like a fish restaurant, can't find a sirloin steak on the menu. Probably only veal or lamb. Wines are well priced. With a Gault&Millau rating you know enough. Pricey, but it has to be superlative.

Heerlijk gegeten. Zoveel verschillende smaken en aparte combinaties. Prachtig om te zien! Een echte aanrader om anders uit te eten.

Vol verwachting na het reserveren, met zijn vieren naar Posterholt gegaan na een hele positieve aanbeveling van enkele bekenden. Menu's zijn vooraf - op de website - te vinden; dat is een goed begin, hoewel de uitvoering altijd weer kan verrassen. Dat was nu zeker het geval. We zijn geen grote eters, dus was de keuze een 4-gangen menu. Absoluut in alle facetten een geslaagde keuze. Variatie in smaak en presentatie, met enthousiaste uitleg door de dames van de bediening. Alle gerechten waren geweldig creatief samengesteld, de chef moet wel van knutselen houden! Het aardappelgerecht - pommes Anna - had wel een heel aparte structuur en dat noem ik daarom graag. Supergrappig. Onze ervaring was unaniem in één woord heerlijk. Een aanrader.

In einem wundervollen Ambiente „draußen im Grünen“ ist hier ein exquisites Restaurant entstanden, dessen Menü auf jeden Fall sternewürdig ist! Wir haben uns für das 6-Gang-Menü entschieden und wirklich jeder einzelne Gang war ein absolutes Highlight! Auch der Service ist einfach super! Alle Mitarbeiterinnen konnten uns auf deutsch alles erklären, was wir so nicht erwartet haben, waren sehr freundlich und haben das Menü zu etwas besonderem gemacht! Selbst die Rechnung war eine positive Überraschung, denn das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auf diesem Niveau unschlagbar! Danke an alle für einen wunderschönen Abend! Wir kommen sicher sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen den Holsterhof zu 100% weiter!

We were looking for a nice restaurant that was easy to reach by bike and found the Holsterhof. What a stroke of luck! In addition to the modern ambience, the very, very friendly (also German-speaking) team, there are great dishes here with the very well-matched wines. For us it was a perfect evening all around! We'd love to come back!

Impressive, refined dishes prepared with care and creativity! The dishes change seasonally, and although the small menu usually doesn't offer vegetarian/vegan, they are flexible in preparing whatever suits your diet. If you have the time, I recommend getting the surprise 5 mini courses. I received a lychee-rice dessert which was amazing! The restaurant's located in nature, the interior is beautiful, and the atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. It's not cheap but it is extremely affordable for the quality. A near perfect dining experience – if only the service were faster and less grumpy.

We were in the area last weekend. It was the only restaurant in the area with asparagus on the menu. Don't expect a plate full here. This is culinary enjoyment. Every plate is a voyage of discovery of flavors. The restaurant is located in an old farm, which has a modern interior. The service is professional, but a bit too distant. Still a very nice evening.

We had a delicious meal again. Cozy for four people, but is also suitable for a romantic dinner for two. Allergies/dietary requirements are taken into account and you will be served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pleasant ambience. We will definitely come back.

Cozy place to enjoy a delicious dinner alone or with friends. The service is good, somewhat informal, pleasant. The dishes served have the allure of a star restaurant. Small tastings that are nicely served. Unfortunately, I missed the exquisite flavors that come with it. The wines served with this were good. In summary, a good and cozy restaurant with, in my opinion, a bit too high a price for the performance.

You should not come here for a quick lunch or ordinary a la carte dinner, you come here as a gourmet with time and desire for a multi-course menu (with or without matched wines). The service is personal, clear explanations for each dish, always full of flavor bombs that are clearly made with love. You can see the commitment and enthusiasm of the owners/employees shining through. We also really liked the interior, the whole picture is just right. If they continue like this, they will reach even higher heights. Simply surprising outside! Are you looking for fries/ice cream? Then continue driving. Do you like culinary delights? Then this restaurant is what you are looking for! The tension in terms of taste kept increasing and the hostess was very nice, paid a lot of attention to the guests and knew how to serve nice matching wines with the dishes. This is a hidden gem near Roermond. Worthy of a Michelin star but still very affordable.

Service was friendly and on time with clearing and taking drink requests and serving. However, upon entering there was no warm welcome, so much so that we wondered whether we were entering through the right door (which turned out to be the case). Served correctly all evening, but not very pampered (which is what you would hope for in a restaurant like this). The food was special: unusual flavor combinations such as broad bean gravy, but very tasty. We experience this as very positive. Although the flavors were bold or innovative for us, we found the flavors very mild. Not particularly strong or high in flavor, so they complimented each other little when eaten together. Definitely a good restaurant for a night out but also much room for improvement, hence 3 stars. Of the 6 courses consumed, none was so memorable that I would specifically like to return for that. Let's try again with a new menu!

Ate here a few times. Morning, afternoon and evening. Nice place to sit, but unfortunately the last time for us. The previous times I indicated when making the reservation that I was a vegetarian and then it was no problem. Delicious food. The last time I forgot that and I also opted for a surprise menu. You would say that it should not be a problem for a good kitchen to come up with something. Unfortunately, the last time it was so little, in relation to the rest at the table, that I also gave it after the main course (which literally consisted of 3 asparagus and a few potatoes). After consultation in the kitchen, it was suggested that if I was still that hungry I could get something else, meanwhile people were looking in our direction from the kitchen. I didn't think it was very neat, and since it took about 45 minutes between each course and it was already 9 o'clock and the dessert still had to be served, I left it at that. All in all, I thought it was a shame that for that price and such good cuisine, nothing nice could be created. Even if it was just a piece of cake...

We chose the 5-course surprise menu with wine pairing. It was all fantastic. The cook did a good job. Tasty dishes were presented on beautifully decorated plates. The wine was well chosen.
