The fire pit made it very comfortable to sit outside in January. We were two minutes late for lunch and therefore too early for the dinner menu. For three hungry men, we were forced to rely on the appetizers. These were quite manageable. We did have to order sauces separately for the fries, which were a bit dry.

Good service. Only fried food, no restaurant food. Nice, atmospheric furniture, etc.

We were there today after the Santa Claus Run. Beautiful place! Ordering and receiving food and drinks was unfortunately quite chaotic. The food and drinks were just average. The tap in the women's restroom was almost empty. But otherwise, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant looks very nice and cozy, both inside and out.

We had a delicious meal today at Honky Tonk restaurant, where we received excellent service in a location with a very warm and homey atmosphere. If you're looking for a cozy venue with good food and drinks at an affordable price, you've come to the right place. We enjoyed a three-course meal with two drinks for €40-50 per person, and it tasted great too! Definitely recommended.

Extreme long food waiting time. Even with just a few tables occupied. Defo not coming back here!!

First, we waited 30 minutes for service on the outdoor terrace, only to be told that the staff were understaffed and we could only dine inside. We took the benefit of the doubt and sat down. We waited 60 minutes to order. Then, after presenting the menu, it turned out the waiter had forgotten about us. We grabbed our things and left. Not to be repeated!

It takes an exceptionally long time, and no one comes by to ask if you need anything else or if you're enjoying yourself. It probably has something to do with the boss hiring far too few staff, so you can't really blame the girls for that. The food was fine, though. But I would never go back there again.

I give it 5 stars for a lovely evening at Honky Tonk. We had excellent service... Silona... or something like that. She tried to translate everything into German for us. Great. The food was delicious and served quickly. We'll definitely be back.

We had a drink with a group of four adults and two children. The service was very pleasant and efficient.

The menu is very varied and very child-friendly. We stayed there for about two hours after a walk on the beach, and we were very thirsty. However, it took a very long time before we finally got our drinks, and then we had to wait a long time for our food again. They completely forgot about other drinks we ordered. At one point, the table was covered in dirty plates. When we asked for someone to take them away, the waitress seemed uneasy, but she did return later to do so. The staff wasn't always very friendly. Perhaps it was because it was very busy and there were few staff members present, I don't know. In the end, I had to go inside to pay, and even then, it took another ten minutes before anyone helped me. I don't think I'll be back.

The snack I ordered didn't arrive. When I asked, she didn't apologize, but simply said the kitchen was understaffed. She went after it. No response, another long wait. So, I left.

The owners are very attentive and take great pleasure in making their guests feel welcome. Despite the young, sometimes somewhat inexperienced staff, we had a perfect evening with our family at the place my mother loved to go. Nothing is too much trouble. Very child-friendly. I had a delicious vegetarian salad, so tasty. Come back soon, dear people!

We had a wonderful meal with six people. We were given the six-person table we'd requested a day in advance. Despite it being busy, we received prompt and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Very disappointing! Made a reservation here to celebrate someone's birthday. The service was friendly, but they were at the wrong table with drinks every time we ordered. We were shoved at a table in a corner. The food was absolutely terrible; the spare ribs tasted like cardboard... Absolutely no flavor and incredibly tough. When we pointed this out, they said, "Well, that's a taste issue." The satay came with only one small skewer, and the truffle mayo with the sweet potato fries was forgotten. After a fifteen-minute wait, we received the sauce, but the fries were cold. We did get new fries, but that also took another fifteen minutes. Many tables were full of empty glasses, and the toilet was filthy. Drinks on the bill that we hadn't received were added. We spent a lot of money, but it was just an annoyance. It was a real shame; it put a huge damper on our birthday outing. We won't be coming back.

The staff wants everyone to have a good time and goes above and beyond. The food is always good quality. Children can play happily while their parents relax on the patio. They also offer many gluten-free options, and they're very accommodating to celiac disease patients.

Honky Tonk in Schoorl was incredibly wonderful! I've been coming here since I was little, and I have so many wonderful memories. This year, we had two fun parties there with a large group. Anything goes! They're very helpful, and bunting is no problem. The service is top-notch. Friendly staff, and of course, a fantastic location! And don't forget the bitterballen! They're delicious!

What a delightful experience today at Honky Tonk. From the moment we walked in, we were embraced by the cozy atmosphere and the friendliness that permeated the place. The restaurant boasts a prime location at the foot of the Schoorl climbing dune. The service was perfectly balanced: attentive without being intrusive, friendly, and genuinely interested. Everything went smoothly. The wine list is surprisingly well-chosen. Our chosen wine paired perfectly with the food, and the service provided an excellent recommendation. Honky Tonk is a place where everything is just right. Highly recommended.

We hebben een tijdje moeten wachten voordat de bediening onze bestelling kwam opnemen. Er stonden nog glazen en borden op de tafel. Dat werd pas opgeruimd toen we het drinken kregen. De gastvrijheid was ver te zoeken.

Great girls working! The food was very good, I just didn't like one thing, but that's just my taste. It was quite busy, but what else do you expect in peak season with 29 degrees Celsius at the climbing dune? Everything was very well organized, and I ended up taking home an item for my collection. We had a delicious meal under the canopy, in a cozy atmosphere with the rain tapping on the roof. I had the noodles with tenderloin pieces, definitely recommended! And a delicious mint tea with tasty chocolates for dessert. The homemade lemonade could be a bit more extensive; it would be nice if it had a bit more fruit/mint instead of half an orange slice.

We ate there yesterday with our two children. The location, directly next to the "giant sand hill," practically invites you to a "really" relaxed dinner with children. Unfortunately, that was the only positive thing about the entire evening, as the service was abysmal. At the beginning, a waitress spilled a beer on my pants (that can happen anytime and is only human), but the way the situation was handled was more than questionable. There was no "sorry," and even when I asked for a towel to dry them a bit, the answer was a brusque, "I only have two hands." While I was sitting there with wet pants, the first thing they did was diligently wipe the table dry instead of bringing me a towel (which would have been the minimum level of courtesy). On top of that, two children's dishes were charged €18 each. We had only ordered pasta without sauce. We only realized this on the way back, though, because we wondered why the evening had been so expensive. We then had to go back and point out that we had ordered a children's meal from the menu, which was only half the price. Overall, it was all very annoying!

Had to wait a long time. More tempura than fish and strangely seasoned. A Honky burger costs €21 and isn't fresh, way too compact, so it came from the freezer. It's also very hard to eat; everything falls apart. McDonald's is a better choice.

We waited over an hour for our food, even though it was already 7:45 when we sat down. After asking if it would be much longer, they said it would be another 25-30 minutes! We were with a small baby and said it really couldn't take that long. I told them that this really wouldn't work for us (meaning we wanted to get our food faster). Without batting an eyelid, the food was canceled, so we had no food at 8:00 PM! We had to order home delivery. We'll never go there again.

The food tasted good. I had the smoked salmon wrap, but there was a moderate amount of salmon in it. Furthermore, for 13 euros, I found the amount of food I received very mediocre. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was good.

het eten was heerlijk. maar we wilden het dessert bestellen totdat er een vrouw aan de tafel kwam met de opmerking dat de volgende groep er al klaar stond, op een bevelige toon, terwijl er nog een andere tafel klaar stond die gebruikt kon worden. die werd uiteindelijk ook gebruikt maar we hebben het desert maar laten schieten.

The service yesterday was really bad, a long wait until you could order food and then an ultra-long wait until we got the food, it wasn't overcrowded and there were three of us...my husband had to ask several times...the food itself was ok, the burger was great, spaghetti Bolognese was good, fries with truffle mayo were very manageable for the price...we won't be back

How can a store be so noisy and disorganized? The order was taken late. The food took almost an hour to arrive. It tasted okay. We dropped a drink and it was ignored for 20 minutes. The waitresses chose to step over the puddle rather than bring us a rag. Empty drinks were simply taken from the table without asking if you wanted anything else. Then the wrong ones/too many were brought. The whole thing was expensive too. There is an extremely loud clattering of cutlery when putting things away. Never again.

Gisteravond ons feest bij Honky Tonk gevierd. We hadden een eigen ruimte tot onze beschikking ( serre + bruin café). Met eigen ingang en toilet. De voorbereidende gesprekken met Marjon verliepen al zeer prettig. Het feest was helemaal naar zin. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en voelden ons in de watten gelegd. Alle gerechten waren even smakelijk. Not great at all. Staff is disinterested (while there are plenty of them around), doesn't explain anything, food is basic and doesn't even bother to look at you. During our visit two other tables had doubts about the quality of the food.

We hebben hier heel goed en gezellig gegeten. Vooraf was ik gebeld dat het die avond niet zo druk zou worden en dat er daarom een beperkte kaart was. Daar hebben we helemaal geen last van gehad, heerlijk gegeten op een fijne plek aan het raam in de serre. Ook de bediening was professioneel en vriendelijk. Een aanrader!

After a lovely cold walk we were given a nice warm spot in the conservatory, we were a large group, the order went quickly and we quickly received what we ordered, this was nice as we were not completely warmed up yet, the hot chocolate with whipped cream were delicious, as were the bitterballen, there was a nice, friendly atmosphere in the entire restaurant. Only during the second round it took a very long time before we could order again, even after asking a few times, people then get irritated and that's why we left early, hopefully things will go well next time, that's what we assume.

What a nice thing this is! Known for years, but haven't been for a long time because Schoorl is not next door (for me). On January 11th I had a very pleasant evening with my father. Delicious food, enjoyed the enthusiastic service, amazing how a team of such young people has it under control so well, really great ladies! And of course the attentive owner who kept an eye on things in a very relaxed and hospitable manner. Many catering establishments in the Netherlands can learn something from this. Thanks!!

Honky Tonk recently came into our picture. We had dinner and drinks a few times and celebrated our wedding at Honky Tonk 2 weeks ago. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Very casual and good atmosphere. The preparations were great. The contact with Marjon and colleagues was great. Nothing was too crazy. Also fun for children and they are involved in entertainment. Children are very welcome. The food is delicious and affordable. We have a new favorite place. Our guests also thought it was great. The location at the climbing dune is also fantastic and unique. They are very active in organizing activities for young and old. We can recommend Honky Tonk to everyone.

Rarely received such poor service in a restaurant. Waited more than 45 minutes for a sandwich that never came. The waitress said it was busy while half the tables were empty. Meanwhile, a group that arrived after me had already received food. Maybe time for a lesson in process improvement 'from taking orders to serving' for the restaurant?

We had dinner here 2 evenings, the food was perfect, you get a lot of food for the money and the quality of the khat tastes very good. Compliments to the entire kitchen. Super service thinks along with you. Here the customer is really king. Ben is quite critical and eats in different places. But nothing was difficult here, apple pie after dish was no problem, great, would love to come again.

We held a session here with a group of 18 people. Beautiful place, right next to the climbing dune. Cozy and good care.

Our last evening in Schoorl, we ate at Honky Tonk for the first time. We both had the fish dish and for dessert the waffle with strawberries and ice cream, followed by a nice coffee (liqueur and sweets). Everything tasted more than good. The service was also friendly and alert. In short, if we come to Schoorl again, we will definitely eat there again.

The food was fine. Only difficult to make contact with the waiting staff. That's why I skipped dessert and had an ice cream elsewhere in the village. Too bad, because it wasn't exceptionally busy.

Heerlijk gegeten. Wij hadden spare ribs en zalm van de bbq besteld, met verwen koffie als toetje. Alles was echt heerlijk. Lekker mals, zalm perfect gebakken en lekker gekruid. Toetjes waren heerlijk. Ook hele fijne bediening, en dat alles voor een heel mild prijsje. Echt een aanrader!! Wij waren met zijn tweetjes, maar dit was met de kids ook geweldig geweest. Voor het restaurant is het klimduin, waar ze eindeloos kunnen spelen.

Nice location on the edge of the climbing dune with good service. When it is busy they wear out the shoes under the hooves. Fun for children and dogs are welcome, which is important to me. In addition, I notice that the owners themselves also work very hard!
