My favorite restaurant in Deventer. You're truly pampered, and the food is always delicious! Christmas Eve is a real treat with the deluxe package. We felt so welcome. A special shout-out to the wonderful, young staff who passionately told us all about the wines and dishes. It's always a pleasure to be here.

After Dickens Festival in Deventer we went for Diner at Jackies Deventer. This was such an amazing nice experience. We are really deeply impressed: Atmosphere: the restaurant is breathtaking with his authentic atmosphere. It is a modern place with a light atmosphere. Service: The waiters are amazing kind, helpful and smiling. They made us feel very special. Ellis and Luuk were very nice. Food: The food was amazing delicious and decorated on nice plates. The vegetarian dishes showed inspiration and creativity in combination with taste. Special note: we enjoyed the handwritten note that we received after diner. The four of us had a wonderful meal at Jackie's! The service was fantastic, the staff were super friendly, and it was a fantastic experience. The dishes were delicious, and especially the Golden Globe! The restaurant is less suitable for small children. The decor and atmosphere were also fantastic. The only downside was the shift until 8:00 PM. We would have liked to linger a bit longer, but we had to make room for the next guests. Highly recommended!

Super nice looking restaurant, let down by bland food. All 3 of us had similar comments about the food “bland” which is a shame given the nice location. Service definitely trying hard but missing some suave for a better score.

Great atmosphere to be and eat in. We were seated in the basement, which was decorated nicely. I called in the same day with a reservation for 14 and this was arranged for us. Staff was very friendly. Our glasses of water were continuously topped-up throughout our stay. Would defenitely recommend!

Excellent service and friendly staff. Coats are taken, and upon departure, they're ready with coats and help you put them on. Fantastic! The food was good. The only complaint was that the orzo was bland. Everything else was great. The restaurant also has a very cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again.

Wow, we had such a wonderful time! We saw some reviews and were a bit hesitant at first. But when we arrived, we received a fantastic welcome, and the service from the waiters remained excellent. We opted for the Totally Jackies package, which is highly recommended. Delicious food, plenty of choices, and if you don't want to choose your own appetizer, you can also choose a combination. The food was good quality, and the wines were also very good. We had a seat in the middle of the room, which was a bit noisy, which took some getting used to, but we were still able to chat, and it even created a pleasant atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and excellent food quality. However, the use of wooden planks for tournedos and ribeye, and the pre-cutting of the meat into strips, means it's served a bit colder. I'd like to see that as an improvement if I return soon. All in all, a very enjoyable evening with the family.

We visited Jackie's for the first time last Sunday and were pleasantly surprised! Excellent value for money; the house drink made you feel instantly welcome, the food (starter: oyster mushrooms, sushi, main: tuna and lady steak) was impeccable, and the accompanying wines were delicious. Above all, compliments on the service! Daphne and Abel were attentive hosts, quick to serve, and we received a lovely personal note at our farewell. We will definitely be back!

As a starter, I had the Carpaccio 2008 – highly recommended, perhaps the best I've ever had. The main course was perfectly prepared: tender meat with a beautiful grill, and the side dishes – like the fries and sauces – completed the meal perfectly. Everything was top quality and clearly prepared with care. The dessert selection was also surprisingly delicious and completed the evening. The service was friendly, professional, and made us feel truly welcome. In short: an absolute must-try in Deventer. We will definitely be back!

There were some hard bits in the food, and no salt or pepper on the halibut. It was perfectly cooked, though. The desserts had some unusual combinations: sour and sweet. It's definitely not your thing.

The food was delicious! We had a delicious mixed grilled fish. I wasn't really a fan of tuna steak, but this one was delicious. After eating here, I've started ordering tuna steak more often. We received a complimentary drink. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, with lots of young people there. Highly recommended.

Last night I went to Jackie's for dinner with family. This is by far the best restaurant in the region, both in terms of cuisine and service. Everything is perfect every time! And we're quite picky 🫣, I lived in Paris for fifteen years with my French husband. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening. You're completely pampered. And that's not always the case in the Netherlands (or at least in the eastern part of the Netherlands)!

A very good, professional atmosphere. This made the overall experience very pleasant. The legalities and the wine were well explained. I found the food a bit underwhelming for the price; I was still hungry after the three courses. The starter wasn't worth the price in terms of quantity. For my main course, I had the tuna steak, which was so spicy in combination with the wine that I had blisters on the roof of my mouth and tears in my eyes. It was unbearable. Therefore, the food gets two stars, as the quality is excellent.

Always had a good experience at Jackie’s, but yesterday totally felt that I was in an acreage place with high prices. Ordered a Sushi.. so old that the avocado was black and they still brought it to the table. Since is summer was so busy outside, the quality of some seats were so low; I requested to seat in an empty table with cushions two tables away, and they said no, giving an alternative to seat beside the bar (a noisy place, besides a huge closed umbrella). Dinner presented awfully late, and honestly tasteless. Busy summers are not a good time to visit this restaurant.

Delicious food, and they really know what service is all about. A nice cocktail beforehand and delicious bread. Your complimentary water is refilled every time, and the table is meticulously cleaned after each course. Empty bottles and dishes are quickly cleared away, and the handwritten notepad containing your receipt makes it feel personal. Highly recommended!
