I really liked the restaurant, everything was incredibly delicious, wonderful atmosphere, pleasant music!!!! 10/10

This restaurant wins big on atmosphere and service. It's super cozy, and the staff are amazing—really friendly and attentive. However, the food didn't quite hit the mark. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either, and didn't live up to the high standards set by the rest of the experience. If you're after a place with a great vibe and people, it's worth a visit, but maybe not if you're a serious foodie

The service was super friendly, and we had a surprisingly delicious meal! We had the tasting platter as a starter (a bit of everything, and super delicious!), followed by the beef tenderloin and the pasta with salmon. Highly recommended!

Walked in, we were greeted by a server not even looking at us saying we had to find our table. Sat down and ordered some food and drinks. When the server came to bring us drinks he didnt even look at us and aggressively put our drinks on the table. It was a young nonchalant guy with his shirt buttoned open halfway to his belly button. If youre looking for even slightly acceptable customer service i wouldnt recommend going here. The food was good and the apart from the service it was enjoyable to sit and dine here.

Went here for lunch with my father and bonus mother and we will never come here again. There are 4 little girls walking around who are just sighing and snapping and pretending not to see you. We were already not welcomed and they pretended not to see us. In the end we had to get a menu ourselves, because no one came to us. They all looked very grumpy and very unfriendly. Also forgot my dad's beer and when we had our food we didn't even get a snack. Afterwards we didn't ask if we were happy and just walked away with our plates without saying anything. Terrible girls! The food was okay. Not much better than a gas station sandwich.

Unfortunately, things here are no longer the way they used to be. Had to wait an hour for soup and a sandwich because the kitchen was understaffed. This was also not indicated in advance. The soup was tasty, but the sandwiches... Very sparsely filled! Carpaccio sandwich with mainly arugula and a little cheese and carpaccio. They don't serve pine nuts because they are too expensive (according to a waiter). Then when paying, you also pay too much initially. Nicely corrected again. Definitely friendly staff and still a nice place to sit, but don't expect a nice sandwich. Hard dry bread, with a very small amount of toppings and not warm: that is what you can expect here. Shame!

This food joint is not hospitable at all. I can't stand the substance of soup and instead asked for a sandwich that is one euro cheaper on the menu, but that was not possible at this inhospitable place. Plus, I've seen better tasting sandwiches elsewhere at lower prices. I'm not coming back here.

We had dinner tonight with three girls. Very tasty, dishes look beautiful. You can sit there comfortably and the prices are good. And very nice service, neat and friendly.

Vroeger was altijd alles beter zo ook La Meridiana. Alhoewel ik daar nu op terug moet komen. Jaren heb ik dit restaurant "links" laten liggen, niet om het uitzicht of het authentieke interieur wat ook echt "italiaans" aan voelt, maar wel om het eten. Er is veel veranderd in positieve zin. De keuken ziet er netjes en mooi uit. Dat de Chef plezier heeft in het vak dat kan je niet alleen zien maar ook proeven. Na een kort gesprekje met de chef (Ferry) hebben wij besloten om het hoofdgerecht en het dessert aan hem over te laten. Hij toverde mooie gerechten op tafel. De bedrijfsleider genaamd Dennis was een keurige man. Had overzicht en de bediening liep dansend om hem heen. Hij had het onder controle geen geschreeuw. Ook een man die het vak verstaat. Als hoofdgerecht ossenhaas met gerookte knolselderij, gedroogde olijvencrumble, bietjes en een hele mooie volle jus. Dit was huisgemaakt dat kon je mooi proeven met de gelatines die er inzaten maar wat een smaak!! Puur en aards, deze chef weet wat koken is. Het dessert was ook een opeenvolging van mondvermaakjes. Tiramisu, ananas, wittechocolade crème te veel om op te noemen. Maar alles gerechtjes hadden identieke smaken. Het gevoel van vroeger is weer helemaal terug. Dank jullie wel Dennis en Ferry

On Saturday, November 16, 2024, we had a delicious meal here with a group of 11 people and had a tasty, atmospheric and cheerful evening. Nice staff, good service, good quality dishes.

The food is very good. The dishes are how they would be served in Italy. The products are of good quality. The attention was super! The waiters are attentive and friendly. The price is very good for the quality and attention. So I give it the maximum rating 5/5

Tijdens de lunch hier alleen gezeten. Leuke locatie (je zit op een 1 etage) met het zonnetje erbij een lekkere plek. De pasta bolognese was heel erg goed. Personeel heel vriendelijk!

Great food! Atmosphere is good and the service is unprecedented

Great meal, but unfortunately a pile of mistakes... - First the gluten free bread was forgotten. This followed an extra long wait. - Then the wrong pasta was served to the second person. - As icing on the cake, there was a steel wire curl from the dish brush/sponge in the paste. Because a drink had already been given for free due to the long wait, nothing more could be achieved... very unfortunate.

Lekker gegeten, maar bediening was heel onoplettend. We zaten lang met een leeg bord. En toen ze eenmaal kwamen mochten we geen dessert meer bestellen, omdat de keuken dicht was! Om 20.20!

Really Bad Quality. Just not tasty. It's an "Italian" restaurant with nasty canned Spanish olives with American ranch and weird cheese bread. Watery Aperol Spritz… really not recommended.

Naast de ijssalon ligt een klein terras op de Grote Markt. Klein beetje verscholen tussen alle mega terrassen ligt deze parel in Zwolle . Met een bijzondere mooie anti pasti en verschillende bruschetta ‘s , waar je liefde van het koken op je bord proeft . De verfijnde smaken gaan door naar het hoofdgerecht, heilbot en de scampi’s op tagliatelle…. Wij hebben genoten

Heerlijk gegeten. Lekkere pasta met scampi en op verzoek een roomsaus erdoor. Was geen probleem. Aardige dame die ons bediende. Verrukkelijke dessert proeverij. Witte choco mousse met yoghurt ijs… top. Italiaanse muziek. Uitzicht op het plein. Genoten.

Used to come here years ago, boy this place has gone downhill. Menu was not available in English, waitress totally not helping and would rather be with other tables. Is it racism because we are not from around here? Not given bread as usual to start off. The chef is also incompetent: the shells had been left on the prawns in the pasta. When leaving the restaurant I see them cutting the bread and I challenge them. They ignore me - says it all about this place. AVOID

Delicious salad, waitress friendly. Unfortunately 30 min. Waited and searched to pay. Even called the company to reach someone for the bill, also not reachable by phone. Ultimately had to pay at the ice cream parlor 2 doors down.

Ate here last Saturday with my son and wife. My wife had the pasta with tenderloin tips, my son had the children's pasta and I had the pasta with chicken. We all had the same thing... it was so delicious! Everything was measured just right and matched to each other, making the taste of the pasta and sauce perfect. The service was also very friendly. If we are in Zwolle again, we will definitely eat here.

Waiting an hour for a platter with four cold starters... couldn't have been possible!

Each dish was beautifully presented. This place is definitely worth a visit!

A beautifully decorated restaurant, very atmospheric! The service was friendly. The food was very good. The tomato soup as a starter is definitely recommended. The bruschetta's were also very tasty. There was a wide choice of desserts in terms of ice cream. The sundae were delicious. The next time I'm in Zwolle, I'll definitely stop by.

Koffie is slap, gerechten zijn lauw en de garnituren moeten extra betaald worden en zijn zeker aan de minimale kant, als ik ga eten, wil ik niet bij thuiskomst nog aan het brood moeten...portionering is echt jammer

Prima restaurant met heerlijk eten. Vers! De bediening is wat rommelig. Er zit geen lijn in. Tip. ;-)

Leuke plek! Zeker aanrader als je met zn 2en bent, dan kan je voor het raam op de eerste verdieping zitten en ook heerlijk uitkijken op het plein, ze hebben niet extreem veel keuze maar daardoor des te lekkerder bereid! Hoofdgerecht vult ook erg goed! (bij het raam kan het wel iets frisser zijn maar met een dunne trui is dat probleem ook opgelost)

We hadden geluk, bij binnenkomst kwam er net een tafel vrij. Gezellige drukte en vriendelijk personeel. Het eten was ruim voldoende en smaakte goed. Als we in Zwolle zijn ga je ons hier zeker terug zien!

Ik heb hier vandaag heerlijk gegeten met mijn zoontje. We waren te vroeg voor het diner maar eigenlijk ook te laat voor een echte lunch, maar we hadden met de lunchkaart echt voldoende keus voor een fijne maaltijd. Voor mijn zoontje kon speciaal 1 van de kinderpasta's worden gemaakt, die eigenlijk niet op de lunchkaart staan. Topservice! Ik was €27,75 kwijt voor twee maaltijden en twee drankjes. Zeker een aanrader!

This Italian restaurant is ideal for lunch or dinner Location is wonderful. It's located upstairs with a beautiful view of the centre. Price is extremely reasonable. Staff is friendly and professional. As far as as con, I could not think of any negatives about this restaurant, which is a major plus, because I am normally very selective when it comes to where I eat.
