Had lunch today with a group of 30 people. First we drank bubbles outside with a delicious snack and cheese biscuit. Lunch was really fantastic! This also applies to the service, where Sam in particular stood head and shoulders above the rest. What a host! Be careful with him!

In de bossen bij Heemstede werkelijk een pareltje. Gevarieerde menukaart. Interessante wijnkaart. Vlotte bediening en uitstekende kwaliteit van het eten.

Op deze prachtige locatie onze gezamenlijke verjaardagen met een lunch gevierd met een groep familieleden en vrienden van 45 personen. Vooraf alle details van het menu en alle tafelarrangementen besproken. Bij binnenkomst de tafels prachtig gedekt. De gasten verblijdt met een glaasje bubbels. Het voorgerecht met paling is goddelijk. Het 2e visgerecht is ook prachtig. Met een tussengerecht - Scroppino - dat buiten met het mooie weer geserveerd wordt wordt de tafelzetting gewisseld. Het vleesgerecht - Iberico varken - is ook geweldig. Ook het dessert met passievrucht is tongstrelend. Voeg aan dit prachtige arrangement heerlijke wijnen en een echt fantastische bediening toe en je kunt alleen een dikke 10 geven.

Really yummy food, super friendly & attentive staff. They have vegetarian options as well. Price quality ratio is great for this fine dining restaurant. I would have loved, if they had a chef‘s menu! Go for a walk in the woods after! It’s just beautiful. Cannot wait to come back in summer for another nice meal on the terrace.

Such a shame. At 3.30 pm an almost empty terrace so we thought we would have a glass of wine in the sun. Usually there are two, including a snack. Unfortunately, only for people who come to eat... We often eat at your place (lunch, dinner) and that is always well organised, but this is really a downside. Rules are rules, but on an almost empty terrace... come on.

Ongastvrij, zondag 2 maart lekker n het eerste. Voorjaarszonnetje bij landgoed Groenendaal. Op de bankjes lagen de kussens op ons te wachten. Maar helaas na eerst een bestelling te hebben gedaan kregen we te horen dat we niet welkom waren. Het was binnen te druk, ons aanbod om zelf de drankjes te halen werd ook afgewezen. Ons zien ze hier niet snel meer terug.

What delicious culinary dishes. Nice ladies in the service and nice atmosphere. Ate steak tartare, skrei, veal sirloin and Iberico pig. Each and every one of them is worth passing through.

Beautiful atmospheric location to celebrate your wedding! Also plenty of opportunities around the estate to take photos.

Nu voor de tweede keer een mislukte reservering gemaakt , half leeg restaurant maar mijn specifiek gereserveerde tafel was vergeven . de bedrijfsleider loste dit niet op en lachte het weg . Kortom totaal geen respect voor klanten .

We wanted to have a cup of coffee here, it was cold outside and we had been walking in the area. We were unfriendly directed to the terrace to drink coffee…….There are no heaters or other heating.

This is not a restaurant to eat in the evening with small children, Groenendaal should achieve this itself through clear information, this was clearly a negative point for our dinner, hence only two stars for the atmosphere

Stijlvolle ambiance, uitstekende bedienig, fantastische gerechten. Die zouden trouwens wél iets royaler kunnen. Wat dan? Wachten, wachten, wachten. Hoort niet bij dit niveau.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Mooie ambiance, Vriendelijke ontvangst. Een minpunt : de gastvrouw heeft een gluten allergie ( is vooraf besproken) toch ging het een paar keer mis. Wat een teleurstelling was.

The staff was disinterested, the food mediocre and extremely pricy for what they offered. We ordered four appetizers and none of them was very good. The shrimp croquets were just some basic bitterballen but with fish inside, the salmon dish was literally salmon arranged on a plate with red onion on one side and sour cream on the other (no effort), the egg mayonnaise was the only one a bit more tasty and the escargots were the cherry on top in a bad way. Once I took a bite of the escargots my mouth was full of sand. They were not washed at all. The dish was sent o the kitchen and I got a short apology and a mention that the chef agrees + that they have a third party that delivers them so not their fault. The main dish turnedo rossini was good but nothing extraordinary nor Michelin guide worthy. This food + two soft drinks costed 146 euros. At the end we were not asked how was the food or the experience nor were we offered anything complimentary to make up for the mistake with the escargots or the errors in the service. Lastly, the staff does not have the training required for a fine dine restaurant and when we arrived for the first 15 min all we could hear was their loud chit chat in the kitchen and loud singing. We will definitely not come back and do not recommend it. It is not Michelin Guide worthy.

Very hospitable, classic appearance, tables covered with linen, very tasteful. Surprising, mouth-watering menus. Worthy of a Michelin star! Only indoor ventilation leaves much to be desired.

Delicious meal in an attractive room. With friendly service. Pace of serving dishes was pleasant for our occasion. I can imagine that you have to take that into account.

A truly fantastic atmosphere and ambiance in the greenery. Unfortunately, lunch is fully booked and it is not possible to have a cup of coffee or a rosé, so make a reservation in time next time. Took a look and enjoyed the peaceful interior and beautiful garden 🍀⚘️

The restaurant had a new menu, adapted for the time of year. All had a nice meal with the two of them. We ordered 4 oysters, pata negra, beef wellington and asparagus with salmon, dessert clafoutis and creme brulee. Service was nice and subtle, it's nice when you're eating out and the staff senses whether you're having a conversation. Then I'm really out for dinner. A negative was the smell in the hallway when you enter, I think there is something with the sewerage. Fortunately, you don't notice this while eating.

Hele leuke avond gehad met een Frans diner en live chansons. De ontvangst en bediening is top, vlot en enthousiast! Het eten en de wijnen waren heel lekker. Mooie gerechten die met zorg zijn bereid en opgediend. De plek met het landgoed in het bos en de gezellige ambiance zijn ons ook goed bevallen. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Had a very nice evening with a French dinner and live chansons. The welcome and service are top notch, smooth and enthusiastic! The food and wines were very tasty. Beautiful dishes prepared and served with care. We also liked the place with the estate in the forest and the cozy atmosphere. Worth repeating.

Restaurant Landgoed Groenendaal is always five-stars across the board. The menu is always wonderfully and thoughtfully put together with delicious seasonal flavours, with beautiful presentations. Service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is simply elegant. I always enjoy my dining experience and if you like fine dining you will too.

We had a very nice meal here on Boxing Day. Staff was relaxed. Gluten-free and vegetarian was no problem

Hele fijne brigade, mooie smaken goed in balans, goede frans georiënteerde wijnkaart met ruim voldoende niet-franse alternatieven. Fijn opgezet binnen en met een mooi terras voor in de zomermaanden.

Vandaag voor de vierde keer geweest om te vergaderen en daarna te dineren. Elke keer aangenaam verrast door de uitstekende verzorging en de heerlijke keuken. Attent personeel die ons rustig laat vergaderen maar ons steeds discreet verzorgt. Mooie locatie in het groen.

Ik was er voor een feestelijke lunch en het was geweldig!!! Het eten was heel bizonder en buitengewoon goed en lekker en mooi. Het personeel, aardig, vriendelijk, voorkomend, kortom super. Ik vond het een, voor mij, sterrenervaring!!!

Op zaterdag 2 september zijn wij bij Landgoed Groenendaal getrouwd. Een fantastisch team onder leiding van (o.a.) Job heeft ons de meest geweldige dag bezorgd. Van de eerste bespreking tot the day after waarop we de zorgvuldig bewaarde taart-top kwamen halen: alles was tot in de puntjes, mét oprechte glimlach, geregeld. We hebben ons geen moment zorgen hoeven maken. De tuin was de perfecte locatie voor de ceremonie, wat een plaatje. Tijdens het taart en toost moment werden we goed geholpen en werd niet alleen iedereen voorzien van taart, maar ook vele lekkere hapjes. Het diner in de serre was zeer geslaagd: Smakelijk, unieke gerechten en perfecte timing voor speeches e.d. Afgesloten met een topfeest en een lekker midnight patatje - het plaatje was compleet. Het personeel bewoog zich bijna onzichtbaar om ons heen, continu zorgend dat het ons en het complete gevolg aan niks ontbrak. Groenendaal, enorm bedankt!!

Prachtig gelegen restaurant in Heemstede in het landgoed Groenendaal in het Groenendaalse bos. In het monumentale koetshuis met prachtige tuin en terras is het heerlijk toeven. Inrichting is klassiek modern met rustige tinten en hoge ruimtes en veel licht. Fijn gedekte tafels met linnen, ook buiten! Mooie menu kaart met vis, vlees en vegstarisch en uitgebreide wijnkaart. Fraai servies en attente bediening met persoonlijke toets. Het is een feestje om er te zijn.

Sinds kort staat er een vegetarisch zesgangenmenu op de kaart van Landgoed Groenendaal en daar hebben we ons gisteravond door laten verrassen. In één woord: GE-WEL-DIG! Toch is slechts één woord niet voldoende om te beschrijven hoe we zijn weggeblazen door waanzinnige smaakexplosies. Het hoofdgerecht met structuren van wortel (dry-aged wortel, dat verzin je toch niet?) was werkelijk 'da bomb', zelfs mijn volbloed-vegetarische tafelgenoot die normaalgesproken niets eet uit de categorie 'oranje & warm' was over the moon. Voor mij als hardcore-carnivoor was het een eyeopener: ik heb geen enkel moment gedacht 'hier mist een stukje rund, kip of iets anders gezellig scharreligs'. De volgende dinnerdate staat inmiddels gepland! PS ik kan geen foto's toevoegen omdat we ze niet hebben gemaakt. Bij ieder kunstwerkje dat op tafel kwam was er was geen tijd te verspillen aan foto's maken. Proeven en ons verwonderen over zoveel lekkers, dat wilden we! En dat hebben we gedaan!

Wij hebben hier onze trouwdag gevierd en zijn de hele dag uitstekend verzorgd door de staf. Het is een sfeervolle en prettige locatie, ook op winterse regenachtige dagen. De omgeving is ook prachtig voor een wandeling. Het eten en de drankjes waren zeer goed bereid: speciaal zonder overdreven interessant proberen te zijn. Wij hebben enorm genoten van de locatie, de verzorging en de samenwerking met Groenendaal richting de trouwdag!

Was er voor een bruiloft, maar voor 60 gasten was het eten top. En ook prima geserveerd
