The pasta here is excellent, so are the prawns. Very good for overall. The service here is great too. The last week works Italian is very nice

Simple menu. Mainly pizza and pasta. Various sandwiches around lunchtime. If that's your thing, you won't go wrong. The food is good (with wine recommendations) and served quickly. The service is friendly, but not overly attentive. The terrace is pleasant. The interior is tastefully decorated.

My mother took us out for dinner with a promotion via socialdeal, the food was unfortunately not what we expected, salmon salad was a mountain of rocket with some wafer-thin pieces of salmon and some chopped onion... the main course we had four times pasta with truffle had to pay 34.00 extra for that, this would be worth it if you could actually taste the truffle... nothing was true it was tasteless... very unfortunate, we will not be coming back because of this!

Yesterday I had my first meal at this authentic restaurant with my daughter, what a lovely welcome but above all what delicious food, good wine, delicious tiramisu so we really enjoyed it. We will definitely come back here. Thank you dear people from By Angelo ❤️

I had the pleasure of dining at By Angelo, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a beautiful interior that immediately made a good impression. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and their attention to detail made the dinner extra special. The food was simply amazing. Each dish was prepared with care, with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The Tiramusu in particular was highly recommended. The presentation of the plates was beautiful and showed the passion of the kitchen. In short, By Angelo is a place where you don't just eat, but really enjoy yourself. I will definitely come back here!

Ordered a pizza with salmon, it didn't look like a pizza with salmon, it was also not edible, it smelled bad and I wouldn't give it to my cat, it came from a can, it was just white in color brr And for the people who get such a delicious parmesan cheese at the table that is under the wet coats in the cloakroom, enjoy your meal!:( And when you come in, order quickly because delivery has priority. How hospitable is this?

Delicious food By Angelo. Our pasta was prepared at the table in a large parmesan. That's already a lot of fun and it tasted delicious.

My go to place to order pizzas. The margarita and quattro formaggi in particular are (usually) tasty. The pasta there and then is inedible. Pasta carbonara is linguine with half a liter of cream sauce and 5 pieces of pancetta, so absolutely no carbonara.

The four of us enjoyed lunch by Angelo and all four were delighted afterwards. All dishes high quality and beautifully presented. The pièce de résistance, ordered by all four of us, is the pasta prepared in a large Pardano cheese, the top layer of which is melted with flambéed grappa, with sage and truffle. Not the first and certainly not the last time we ate By Angelo. A jewel on Abeelplein.

Wow, we had a wonderful time here tonight. I had the truffle pasta (made at the table in a large cheese) and it was honestly the best pasta I have ever eaten. My son thought his salami pizza was the tastiest pizza ever and after taking one bite I agree with him 100%!

Cozy terrace, Italian atmosphere by the service

This is really a gem! Authentic dishes. Real portions like you get in an Italian family. Staff friendly and you can hear Italian through the restaurant. Next time we will share some photos of the dishes because we already attacked them :)

One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten (and I've tried it in many different countries).

How nice to have such a delicious restaurant around the corner! We were received very hospitably by Angelo himself. The menu is very extensive, so there is something for everyone. I enjoyed my swordfish, which you don't often see on the menu. And the meal ended with a Sicilian cannoli. I will definitely go back again.

My experience at the restaurant was overall delightful. The food was delicious - especially the pasta with olives and fish, accompanied by a nice wine and refreshing mint tea. The dessert, while unique in appearance, was similarly satisfying. The service was exceptional and added to the positive atmosphere. However, I was a little disappointed that there were no photos of the dishes on the menu. As someone who doesn't eat pork, I appreciated the clear ingredient labeling, such as a picture of a pig or cow showing the ingredients. But the lack of visual references of what the dishes look like made it difficult to see exactly what you're getting. I also found it difficult to pronounce the names of the dishes, even though they sounded very fancy, and it was useful to be able to indicate to the waiter what I wanted. Nevertheless, I believe that a photo on the menu is really important for people who have difficulty with pronunciation or who want to get a visual impression of the food. Some people just get hungry after seeing a photo. Despite these minor points I had a great dining experience and would definitely recommend the restaurant for its delicious food and excellent service.

As a solo traveler in the Hague, I enjoyed my beer and lemon pasta dish at this restaurant. The service was wonderful (I think her name was Daeel) who was very friendly! My only regret as an American is that the portions were a bit small, but the flavor was intense, fresh and good!

We have enjoyed coming to Angelo's on Abeelplein for years and in the winter we sometimes order something for home. They are among the best pizzas and pastas in The Hague. We know few chefs who are so kind and dedicated. In short, nice place, good food, lemon tart, fantastic scroppino. What more could you want? Don't whine and complain... just go eat

Loved it! It was all as one would expect from an italian restaurant - cozy, tasty, friendly, easy going! Great menu choices, performance before your eyes re "pasta tortufo" :-) Can't wait to go there in the summer so we can seat outside as well!

After a walk on the beach we visited this Italian Dinner Restaurant. Very cosy atmosphere with all the Christmas decorations and the hostess are superfriendly. We had a lot of good food, and we hope to come back once!

Ik heb vaker hier besteld. De bezorging is altijd top! In het begin was ik heel tevreden over de kwaliteit. De pasta was een keertje eerder tegengevallen, maar ik besloot om vandaag weer te bestellen. Ik moet zeggen dat ik erg spijt had. De pasta’s waren niet lekker. Roomsaus smaakte raar. Mijn vriend vond zijn pasta ook niet lekker. Hij heeft na een paar hapjes al opgegeven. Ik vind het heel jammer dat de smaak ook niet consistent is. Het lijkt wel alsof het deze keer door iemand anders was gemaakt met weinig ervaring/passie voor voedsel. Ik geef drie sterren omdat de bezorger heel aardig was. Ook was het eerder gewoon lekker, maar voor de bestelling van vandaag geef ik 1 ster

Bestel hier regelmatig online , maar nu een keer ter plekke wezen lunchen. Geweldig fijne zaak , super personeel. Heel fijn gezeten en gegeten. En natuurlijk het belangrijkste gewoon erg lekker eten. Gaan we zeker vaker naar toe.

Leuke, voor ons nieuwe plek in de Bomenbuurt. Echte Italiaanse bediening, lekkere koffie (zak bonen meegenomen naar huis), porties zijn niet te klein. Mijn broodje salami van vers gebakken piadina was zelfs groot te noemen. Vitello tonnato was heerlijk. Ga hier zeker terugkomen!
