Very nicely situated restaurant. Nice location, good atmosphere

The food was really great, but for a lunch way too much. I couldn't finish it, and the plates with another menu looked too much for me too.

My boyfriend ended up with severe food poisoning after eating at this restaurant, he got better in a few days with prescribed antibiotics. I called the restaurant and talked with a supervisor, who told me that she would look into what could have happened and that she would call me back. I never got the call, hence the 1 star.

I was here with some colleagues, one of whom was retiring. I have had a gastric bypass and can eat very little. This was taken into account very well. Good service, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The vase paid no prices, but they had an amuse in advance, a starter, main course and dessert, then coffee and/or tea afterwards. I thought that €55.00 per person could be spent.

Nice restaurant on the Toolenburgse plas. Always a good meal. Due to the many glass, it can sometimes be warm inside, but the terrace is also possible. Often full for dinner. Also nice for a cup of coffee in between.

1 star is even too much for this restaurant. When I entered I did not feel welcome. Eventually I was allowed to sit on the terrace. When I asked for a drinks menu, the waitress indicated that this was not available. This while I got the drinks menu a week ago. According to the waitress I could choose from "just coffee and the usual things." I know one thing for sure. I will not come back here again.

Had a drinks afternoon with family yesterday. What a nice place with a view over the water. Nicely and pleasantly decorated, friendly staff, and fair prices. In short, a very successful afternoon.

Had a delicious meal today in the setting sun. Nice atmosphere, quick service. A small downside was the door that kept opening which we were sitting right next to.

We had made a reservation with a large group, but the dog was not allowed inside. Fortunately, a large table outside was immediately prepared for us. Had a delicious meal and enjoyed the sun.

Vorige week een mooi verjaardagsfeest gevierd in de serre (exclusief voor ons gezelschap) bij Restaurant Lieveling in Hoofddorp. De locatie is van zichzelf al ontzettend mooi, gelegen aan het water (Toolenburgse plas), maar door de mooie, warme inrichting is veel versiering niet noodzakelijk. De serre was zo ingericht dat het niet te klein, maar zeker ook niet te vol was voor 53 personen  Wij kozen voor een 7-gangen diner, bestaande uit mooie gerechten, die bij iedereen enorm in de smaak vielen. Het personeel heeft alles tot in de puntjes goed geregeld op de avond zelf. Slechts 1x aan hoeven geven wie welke allergieën en/of dieetwensen had en de gerechten werden gelijktijdig en vlot uit geserveerd. Daarnaast werd er volop gedanst onder leiding van DJ Edwin Verhoef, die echt een feestje heeft gemaakt van de avond, goed afgestemd op de aanwezige gasten. Tenslotte hebben wij een photobooth (polaroid foto's) en grote, witte lichtletters (naam en leeftijd jarige) gehuurd bij Klick memories (klickmemories.nl), wat ook een groot succes was; mooie apparatuur, flexibele en zeer goede service (ook op de zondagmiddag). Kortom een echte aanrader voor een goed feest: Restaurant Lieveling, Edwin en Klick memories, bedankt voor de goede service en het mooie feest!

We had dinner here. The restaurant is beautiful and atmospheric, the staff are all very friendly. Food was very tasty, we had tournedos and the spicy burger. Very large portion of fries. Super!

We hebben van te voren 3x een socialdeal geboekt. We hebben hier bijna 100 euro voor betaald. Het eten was fantastisch maar de rekening achteraf was ronduit schokkend. 75 euro bijbetalen! De meerprijzen voor de tournedos was 10 tot 12 euro. Kijk, dat je bijbetaald prima maar deze bedragen zijn schandalig. Geweldig restaurant maar echt schandalig duur, voel me een beetje in de maling genomen! Geen social deal meer voor dit restaurant voor mij!

Yesterday I went to Lieveling's on spec to have something to eat with four adults and a child. Food is good, children's menu is limited. Service (from the staff) and child friendliness could be better. The restaurant was minimally occupied, but we still had to wait more than half an hour for the food.

We had made a reservation in advance and indicated that we did not want to sit in the middle of the store, unfortunately we were referred to a table in the middle of the store, but in the end we were given a table on the side. Too bad the staff found that difficult, it costs something to eat out there, and I think the customer is king. Delicious food, and the service was very friendly.

Back in the animal-unfriendly 90s for lunch at the “Lieveling”, nothing vegan, and the vegetarian option is goat cheese or mozzarella. Just emerged from the 80s when all you could get was a cheese soufflé and a disapproving look if you didn't want to cause animal suffering.

Heerlijk gegeten en het restaurant heeft een warme uitstraling. Alle gerechten waren goed. Wij hebben o.a. carpaccio, pittige kippendij en zalm op toast op. Als hoofd was de tournedos met garlic geliefd en een spicy burger. De nagerechten waren enorm en lekker. De brownie, cheesecake en dame blanche lonkten erg. Kortom echt genoten!

Restaurant has been completely renovated. New interior and extensively renovated and much larger. Atmosphere is super cozy. Service smooth and super friendly. Had a tuna sandwich and an egg roll. Food also ready quickly. Just a nice tent nearby

Nicely located restaurant, good service and delicious food. But €50 makes a lunch for two people ridiculously expensive.

Today we had a 3-course choice menu lunch with amuse-bouche, for a large group. Everything arranged in advance. The performance of both the kitchen staff and the service was very good. What a beautiful restaurant it has become after the new design and renovation. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Lovely place to have a cup of coffee, of course you can also eat there, but I have no experience with that

Celebrated my birthday on Sunday September 8 at Restaurant Lieveling with a walking lunch for 64 people and it was, in a word, fantastic! The location is great, the staff very nice/attentive/professional and the food is delicious. The food intolerances of some guests have also been taken into account. In my opinion, highly recommended!

Hamburger is too salty for me. Price is relatively high. One burger is 20 euros 😂 Atmosphere is good. Place near the lack.

Great restaurants. From bread to starter to main course, all was great. Where i give exceptional rating to restaurants is when they serve additional requested things well before time. I requested mustard and tabasco to go with my steak. The girl serving us got those before serving the course hence i didnt have to wait and let it go cold. This is where good restaurants struggle to get to exceptional service.

We were there with the children and grandchildren. Nice location, delicious food, attentive and friendly service.

Had a great time on the terrace. Beer, wine, bitterballen. Nice, neat, modern place. Too bad the hand dryer is breathing very high. Advantage I could also blow dry. The disadvantage is that the water is blown from your hands over your chest.

We were able to sit down with a bit of wind, adequate service and the food is really good value for money. If you are a little early, the menu with good sandwiches and salads is available from 11:30 am. You don't have to wait long for your food. Thanks for the delicious food!

Gezellig restaurant met een erg leuke ligging. Personeel is vriendelijk en vlot in de bediening. Heerijk geluncht en goede kwaliteit. Een aanrader en zeker herhaling vatbaar!

Well organized and fun party for our daughter who turned 50.

The location is nice because it is near the lake / water. Food was average, and the price was a bit higher than expected. The service was bad. The waiter was not careful while bringing the order and forgot to bring one of our orders as well, so we have to remind them about it.

Nice place for lunch/drinks/dinner. What I have always learned in the catering industry is that when you serve food out, you do not walk back to the kitchen empty-handed. But this applies to almost every catering business nowadays, which means that tables are left with dirty glasses/plates, etc.

August 1, completed the reservation form on the site and sent it for lunch with 4 people on Saturday, August 3. The form states that the restaurant would contact you to confirm the reservation, which did not happen, so we called again. The restaurant has recently been renovated and apparently the decor and furniture have also been updated. Tables with fabric-covered chairs with armrests and benches along the walls. The toilets can be reached via a fairly steep staircase on the top floor and there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor. Lieveling has a spacious terrace. We ordered the Japanese Fried Chicken and Smokey Salmon meal salads. The dishes were beautifully presented, but the Japanese Fried Chicken was served in a deep bowl and was a bit difficult to spoon. The desserts Dame Blanche (sparsely provided with chocolate sauce) and the Romanoff Strawberries were delicious. It was not busy in the restaurant when we arrived and the service by young staff was smooth and personable and the prices are as usual.

We waren sceptisch, na het lezen van de laatste beoordelingen, maar we zijn blij dat we gegaan zijn. Namen buiten plaats en werden zeer vriendelijk te woord gestaan. Onze drankjes kwamen snel. We bestelden een broodje zalm en een broodje tonijn. Beiden waren goed belegd en goed van smaak. Ik hou van pittig, maar zag nergens peper staan. Het enige Nadeel vonden wij de stoelen die buiten staan. Zitten waardeloos vinden wij.

Delicious food, really good meat, not much else around it, no side dishes. So a bit little if you are a big eater. Meat quality was really good. Restaurant: cozy interior, plenty of space, also outside.

How beautiful the renovation turned out! Delicious lunch with a salad with Japanese chicken. Really fantastic. The only downside is that a reservation had been made in the shade on the terrace by the friend I was with, but all places with shade were already taken when we arrived... Maybe buy a few more large parasols? We ended up sitting on the border outside in the new conservatory, so the wind blew through fine. I think it was the hottest day of the year when we were there, so the couch was a bit sticky... 😅🙈 Everything else was fine. Staff very friendly. Recommended to go!

Beautiful location on the Toolenburgse Plas. Recently renovated. Friendly employees, wine list with nice wines and fortunately several flavors of house wine. The menu is diverse and dietary requirements are taken into account. My meal salad with carpaccio was great! Richly filled with different ingredients. My table companions enjoyed their burgers, the spicy variant of which was also really spicy. See you next time!

Celebrated my birthday last week. It was completely arranged. Super sweet service (thanks Manuela!) And the rest of the service ensured that we were not short of anything. Several parties were held, but no one bothered each other. Delicious snacks and nice terrace. I couldn't have celebrated my birthday better. Thanks again!

Lovely terrace, lunch during a day of cycling. The fries with the croquettes could have been a little more well done. Tuna salad sandwich was delicious, bread thickly cut and wonderfully fresh. Service is super friendly, alert and fast.

The darling has now become a real concept in the region, no one can ignore it anymore! Often visited as a coffee/lunch location for face-to-face conversations with customers and also a wonderful stopover when walking the dog (super cool that they have water bowls outside for the dogs) Dinner, events & weddings can all be arranged! I have already been present for all occasions and have never gone home dissatisfied (nice job Daphne!)🙌🏻 The icing on the cake is the new extension👌🏻

We are offered a table and the hostess disappears without initiation. Entire team walked past and no one said or asked anything. Expanding the building apparently had more priority than training staff. That was the last time.

To eat? No idea anymore. After a long time, I have now been here twice in a row. The first time it took so long for my drink to arrive and for me to receive the card before I could place an order, I thought never mind. I'll leave. Missed turnover. The second time, I sat down at a table that didn't have a "reserved" sign on it, and the waitress came to take my order. After this she said that I had to leave because the table was reserved. And my order? Had bad luck. From now on I will go to the competitor diagonally opposite, because this clumsiness is really terrible. That will interest them, by the way, because the location means there is certainly a customer base.

We werden prima ontvangen, maar daar bleef het ook bij. Het restaurant was goed gevuld, dus het personeel had het druk. We hebben onze drankjes snel gekregen, maar hebben vervolgens na een half uur wachten, moeten vragen om de menukaart. Bovendien was het inmiddels al na 15:00u dus konden wij doordat “het inmiddels doorgegeven was aan de keuken” eventueel nog lunch krijgen. Uiteindelijk hebben wij toch besloten dit niet te doen. Hier werd vervolgens op gereageerd met de opmerking dat wij de volgende keer naar de bar moesten lopen om iemand te vragen om een menukaart, alsof dit de norm is in een restaurant. Tip: customer service training. Misschien komen we dan een keer terug, succes ermee!
