Restaurant Lorenza in Centrum

Delicious food. Service was good.

Good food. Chef and all Service guys are great.

Had ordered pizza carpaccio, but the meat was cooked roast beef instead of raw tenderloin. On top of that, no pine nuts again..

Super nice restaurant with a very sweet owner. There is an Italian atmosphere and a sense of calm here. The food is delicious. Highly recommended!

We had dinner tonight with a group of 17 people. It was truly fantastic, delicious, good service and served quickly.

A very good restaurant! My boyfriend took me and my little daughter there because his parents used to take him when he was little, and honestly, I thought it was fantastic. The food was 10/10, and the service and owner were very friendly. It's delicious from the appetizer to the dessert. I highly recommend it; the family atmosphere is great.

We had an incredibly delicious meal at Lorenza yesterday. The service was very friendly. If we are in the area, we would love to come back again!

Had a delicious meal. Lovely service.

The pastas were delicious, and the delivery was very fast! Only something went wrong with Thuisbezorgd, but they resolved that quickly and professionally as well. We will definitely order and eat here more often.

The pizzas are good, but the delivery is terrible. Last week, it arrived 45 minutes later than promised. The pizza was cold out of the box, ready to go straight into the trash! We won't be doing that again.

Great restaurant! Delicious pizzas

Great place, good food, nice owner.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday party at this pizzeria, and it was fantastic! The owner was there himself and incredibly patient while he made pizzas for no fewer than 12 children. Everything was explained calmly and lovingly, and each child was truly taken into account. A big plus is that the meat is halal, which we really appreciated. The children had a wonderful time in the upstairs area, where we could even play my daughter's favorite songs. That made the party extra personal and special. All the children, especially my daughter, who had her birthday, thoroughly enjoyed this place, the people, and of course, the delicious pizzas. The children's pizzas were the perfect size, and the best part was that the children could make everything themselves. They were treated with great care, patience, and kindness. Highly recommended for a successful children's party! 🍕🎉

I used to come here regularly, but haven't been for a few years now. Yesterday, I ate here with my family. The restaurant has been "renovated" from its former cozy state, and it's now a cold and bare place. The English-speaking young woman serving was mainly checking herself in the mirror and didn't seem to notice the empty glasses on the table (there were only three occupied tables...). The food is okay, but certainly not exceptional. I wouldn't recommend sitting here; delivery is probably fine. It's a shame such a lovely restaurant has gone downhill so badly.

Delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. As far as I know, parking is only available in the nearby parking garages.

Delicious food. Lots of choices and everything tastes fresh.

Very delicious food, good portion and fair price. The waitress helped me with the menu cause I don't speak Dutch which was really awesome!

Delicious food for a very reasonable price. Service was friendly.

I only leave reviews when I really love something. This was the most delicious pasta I’ve had in the Netherlands, since I love creamy pasta. The atmosphere was lovely, and we also had a great conversation with the owner of the restaurant. The music was Italian, and the food was really delicious.

Delicious food, generous portions, and what a cozy, busy family restaurant. It definitely adds to the atmosphere. I was just unlucky when a group of women was having a gathering (it was noisy), but luckily I'd already finished eating by then. Definitely recommended.

Very bad food!! Everything was covered in chunks of garlic. The Spaghetti Carbonara had nothing to do with carbonara. Lidl's own brand spaghetti, with a centimeter of sludge at the bottom. No cheese or egg. It was on the menu, though. It was also cold. Tasteless. Canned mushrooms 🤣 The friendly girl helped us politely and her manager allowed us to remove the spaghetti from the bill. Of course, the manager had the friendly girl take care of it. When we paid, we could see into the kitchen... Let's just say hygiene wasn't a top priority. Close that place down.

Had another delicious meal today. Lovely, lively terrace. Friendly service. They were even able to make me a dish that wasn't on the menu. Very tasty and enjoyable.

Today I picked up food from Lorenza for the first time. My sister mentioned that their pizzas were very good, and she used to get them all the time, so I figured the rest might be good too, but I was a bit disappointed. I had a pasta pollo with pesto and mushrooms, but it only had 3 or 4 pieces of chicken in it. So, you basically eat pasta with a pesto sauce and mushrooms, which I unfortunately had to add a lot of salt to make it taste good. So, I can't recommend the pasta. I did get two homemade rolls with garlic sauce, and the brownie I ordered was also delicious!

Great restaurant, excellent food. It wasn't very full due to the warm weather, so the atmosphere wasn't as good. Service was relaxed, but otherwise, it was fine. Best to come on foot or by bike.

I had such a delicious pizza here yesterday with my family! Super fresh, plenty of toppings, and top-notch dough—these are the real pros! The service was super friendly and welcoming, truly a top spot for the most delicious pizzas!

Even on a Friday night, the atmosphere was grim, and the service was terrible. The pizza was fine, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

Very good business. Friendly staff and especially a very friendly and sociable owner.

When you enter you are immediately noticed and helped nicely. The service is fast and regularly asks if everything is to your liking. We did not think the food was very good. The carpaccio was tasteless and the pizza was sweet. In the evening when we got home it started. We both got super stomachaches; a serious food poisoning.

Lorenza in Hilversum is an absolute gem! The food is delicious and authentically Italian, the hospitality is warm and welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond — especially when it comes to taking care of families with small children. The location is beautiful, adding even more charm to the experience. We truly had a wonderful evening and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Hilversum. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a lovely meal and create special memories,,,😊❤️🥂

Extra fries not delivered, poor service Pizza smaller size than before

ITALIANS DO NOT ENTER, frozen pizza with garlic at will, garlic with carbonara, green puff pastry, owner average chocolate and rude employees

I have been coming to Lorenza for about 15 years now and I have never been disappointed! Nice atmosphere, delicious food and super friendly service always😊.

High-quality food, lovely people. Nice atmosphere 👌

It was a very good place! We had a nice dinner!! Good staff, and the pizzas and the bread were so great 😀. Everything was so good! 4.9/5

Really dirty with that load of garlic

Always delicious food here for a great price. A piece of youth sentiment in Hilversum.

Super rude owner! The worst customer experience I've had in the Netherlands. Ordered a few pizzas at Thuisbezorgd but then canceled 2/3 pizzas from the order. They said I can cancel and they will give me a voucher. Today I ordered via their website (not Thuisbezorgd app/website) and put the voucher as a comment. The owner called me and tried to shame me for ordering at Thuisbezorgd. And that he now has to pay them a fee and that I made him do extra work. Even though, he said that he asked me to order via the phone, he never mentioned that Thuisbezorgd will charge him or that I can't order via website. Even if he'd done that and I'd forgot, he could have just canceled the order! Instead of being insanely rude and shaming me, just wow!

Totale chaos.

Been coming there for years, good and nice atmosphere, just needs a good cleaning company. Then it's absolutely great!!!!!!

Lorenza is one of the top sellers in Hilversum with consistently good quality and fast delivery! Can be called directly or via website. Pasta quattro formaggi is my favorite, after the tiramisu. Both takeaway and eating there are good, we have been coming there for years. If you want to pick up, it is advisable to call in advance (1700 or so).

Been coming here for years, great compliments for the quality, service and friendliness. Today we had another fantastic meal!!! Top top top

What a mess there under the radiator...too disgusting for words...I will never eat again!

Nice place that I like to visit. Uncomplicated food with a casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. Clean toilets. An owner who everyone knows, because when he sits at the door, the whole of Hilversum waves at him. If you want to give this tent a try and you're not sure if it's for you, take advantage of the offer through The Fork.

Delicious, pizza base nice and airy and thin. Pasta was also certainly to your liking.

I ordered food online and it was bad. My comment was not listened to: no mushrooms and artichoke in the calzone. This means you can throw an entire calzone straight into the trash. The Kibbeling children's menu was really poor for the price. No sauce and the kibbeling and fries were packed into 1 bag. Fries are soggy and limp. Bag was soaked in grease. Too BAD for words!

Good service and friendly staff. Cozy and cozy paired with good food.

Not the most luxurious restaurant, but the price reflects that. Especially with a discount from The Fork. Both food and service are top notch! We like to come here for a quick bite to eat. Recommended for us!

A pitty that all of the ingredients were next to the pizza bottom. Normally this is much better arranged

We had 2 pizzas delivered and were pleasantly surprised, they were very tasty!

Sat with the two of us tonight. Nice place. Friendly staff. Pizzas were very good. So perfect dinner. Recommended!

Super delicious food, nice and friendly service. English wasn't a problem.

Delicious pizza and excellent service

Delicious food. Good pizzas and tasty starters. For a nice price!

Delicious food after a wonderful competition in Hilversum

This was the most AWFUL dinner I’ve eaten. Starters arrived 1 hour late. Main meal tasted awful baby food!

Discovered this lovely Italian on our first night. Staff were quick to seat us and to take our drinks order. Meals were a bit slower to be ordered but that was my fault as I was really indecisive. Food was lovely, lots of it. Staff were lovely as well

Lekker eten! Vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Heerlijke gerechten. Altijd weer genieten. Enorm vriendelijke mensen. En bezorging. Aanrader. 😄

Bezorging is hit or miss, maar ter plaatse eten zeker een aanrader.

Pizza was absoluut fantastisch!

Really good! The attention was amazing 🥰 thanks to the girls for an amazing attention 🤗

Has been a while since I ate there. However everything was good, tasty and good service. Enough choices in the menu; pizza, meat, fish, it is all there. Also deserts and liquors/coffee. 👍

In tijden niet zo'n lekkere pizza gegeten

Good food. Always friendly staff.

Maatje kinderpizza tegenwoordig.

Twee keer geweest (okt22) en twee keer prima, zeker de lage prijzen in acht genomen. Lasagne was me te zout maar spaghetti aglio e olio was heerlijk. Tafelgenoten beide keren ook erg positief. Minder dan 25 euro pp klaar. Sympathiek.

We were looking for an Italian in Hilversum and walked by this place. There are some tables outside, and the friendly owner helped us with our choices. We can recommend the oven dishes (both veal and chicken). Our grandson wanted fries / frikandel / kroket), this was arranged by the restaurant via the snackbar across the street (same owner). Last but not least, after finishing his plate, the owner gave him a nice free icecream.

Next time!

Restaurant seems perhaps a bit outdated but very friendly and very good steak (cuisson spot on!)! Very nice bread and pizza too. A bit too much peppersauce for my liking, but that's just me.

Lekkere pizza, vriendelijk personeel. Authentieke inrichting.
